Our toilets started bubbling and we originally called a plumber and they had confirmed our issue was our septic system. I had used Metro Rooter before for septic maintenance and they were great. I called them to see if they could make it out to our house same day. It was already late in the afternoon but they sent one person to get the septic all empty and got an emergency person lined up for the septic pump replacement in the meantime. We had Patrick do our replacement and he was wonderful. He called me to talk to me and understand what was going on. Then called me back with costs so I was informed. He was timely and just a great person to talk to. His work was fantastic as well. He cleaned up his workspace and explained the guarantees for parts and labor. When I say I cannot rave enough about the two individuals at Metro Rooter who assisted me with my sump pump repair. From the beginning Mr. Rousseau called to address my concerns with him being so professional, knowledgeable and polite. He then sent his technician Frank Smith the next day who was just as knowledgeable, professional and polite as him to complete the job at a reasonable price when other competitors were attempting to charge double. Metro Rooter has gained a customer for life and I would recommend anyone to utilize their services! Thank you guys again!

Our plumbers recommended metro rooters emergency services to resolve a stoppage at our facility. After 2 technicians came out to fix it the first two times, the problem was still recurring days later. Working at a healthcare facility, we were having several issues without easily accessible running water or toilets for 24hrs. After speaking with the dispatcher, again, and slightly upset this time- she escalated the issue to the plumbing supervisor. The dispatchers- Stephanie, Sandy, and Kelly were great- although they were probably tired of hearing from me! Attentive and proactive with resolving my issues and handling my frustrations with the field techs. After Kelly escalated our situation, Tony, the supervisor, came out. He spent 7 hours to resolve our issue and provided clear, easily understandable, explanations as to what caused the issue and how he was able to fix it.Hopefully we won’t be needing them again, but if we do- I know they will do whatever they need to get it done!!Thank you all!-Precision Imaging Team

Update- received a call within 3 hours of posting this review from the parent company. Issue resolve. Great recovery. It takes a lot for a company to admit they made an error and apologize. I’m updating my star review from 1 to 4. I’ll use Metro Rooter again.I’ve been a very satisfied customer of Metro Rooter since 2016. I’ve used them exclusively for my septic system and water well issues and every time they’ve communicated well, arrived on time, and been more than helpful. So when my irrigation pump went out I had no idea that this time would be so different. Two weeks ago I called to schedule a service call. As this was not an emergent issue, I was fine with whenever they could fit me in their schedule. We settled on 8:00 the morning of May 26th. I was told I’d be the “first stop of the day.” I took the day off work so I could be here when they arrived. It’s now 2:15pm. I’ve called the customer service line 3 times (10:00, 11:00 and 1:00) now. It seems like that personalized service we’ve had for the last seven years is gone under the new ownership. I’d love to hear from someone that could address this and I’d be more than willing to edit my review with an update after that call but right now it seems I’ve wasted a vacation day and will probably have to use another to get my issue fixed.

Darrell with Metro-Rooter did an amazing job! My septic alarm went off the day after Christmas, and I had no idea what was going on. Darrell came out to pump out the system and see if there was an issue. He was quick and efficient and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be using Metro-Rooter again!

Junior and Patrick installed two pumps, floats and associated communication wire for a lift station in our home owner's association. They were very professional and worked diligently until the work was completed. Very happy with their knowledge, communication and customer service. Strongly recommend.

I called them to pump our septic tank and told them we had sewage coming up in the drains. I paid $367.00. The technician pumped the septic tank and told me You're good to go!, and left. He never asked me to check how well the toilets flushed or anything. The next day, sewage started coming up in the drains AGAIN. I called them back and they told me it would be another $215.00 to unclog the blockage and that this charge would be BY THE HOUR. I called my cousin who works in plumbing and he came out and found the problem. He said it was obvious that there was a blockage and the Metro Rooter technician clearly knew about it. My cousin saved me who knows how much money that they were hoping to scam me out of. I will not recommend them to ANYONE and next time I will call a different company for sure.

Metro Rooter pumped and repaired my septic on 1/9/23. The job was completed satisfactorily and now I am good to go. Mr. Rousseau helped me with a concern and the issue is resolved to my liking. Mr. Rousseau was very professional and helpful in many ways. I am very pleased with his help and concern.

David Wilson was great and respectful of us and our property I also wanted to add give him a big thanks. He was out here on his birthday after he was supposed to be home with his family but came to help my great grandmother he could've pushed us off for the next day but didn't. I'm very thankful for him and this company for treating my great grandmother as well as they did!

The company was fast and efficient. Burroughs was very knowledgeable and hard working. Her personality alone will keep us doing service with this company. I’m the General Manager for Prime CarWash and I can confidently say Tom Zaruta is one of the best plumbers in the area by far! We’ve had multiple other plumbers come out in the past but none as helpful as Tom. He was extremely professional and gave good incite to the issues we are facing with our drains.

Had a great experience with metro rooter. Tub wouldn’t drain. Came in and got it done in like 10 mins. Charles Inscoe was our technician and he had great customer service. We really appreciate it.

My septic system pump-wiring-& tank and lid were broken and not working. Junior came and inspected all the damage and problems and repaired the entire system even the electrical box and new wiring. I watched the entire repair job and was super impressed with his work and he explained everything to me. My septic pump has been a problem for many years and now I am feeling it’s finally done right! Charles Inscoe arrived and introduced himself to me. We then went to look at the work that needed to be done. Charles explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate on the time to complete the work. Once we agreed as to what needed to be done Charles went to work getting it done. He worked steady and would ask me if it looked like we had agreed on. He was spot on every time and completed the work well within the time he gave me. After the culvert was cleaned out we ran water thru it and evaluated the water flow to the main drainage lines for our community. Charles did not stop until he had the line flowing properly thru the drainage ditches.If I have any problems at my house Charles will be the person I will request when I call Metro-Rooter to repair the problem I have. I highly recommend Metro-Rooter because the quality of their people and their service.

Very friendly, very informative and fast and down to business in no town. I highly recommend these 2 guys.

I had a 100% Blockage in my sewer line. Both toilets were clogged and flooded, and sewer water backed up into both my tubs. My bathroom floor flooded and I could not run any water in the house without more sewer water rising up. Charles came out on a Sunday afternoon and immediately diagnosed the problem. He was personable and funny and let me know exactly what was going on. He got it fixed quickly and went above and beyond disinfecting my bathroom tubs and toilets for me. He also cleared out a pretty serious clog in my shower drain when he was done. My sewer line is clear & my bathrooms are clean and restored to their original state! This is my second experience with Metro-rooter, and I can’t say enough good things about them.

Charles Inscoe was fantastic as well as tireless. He jetted to drain pipes under my drive way and neighbors that were clogged causing water backup the would stand for days following heavy down pours. Additional, trenched from the drain to a culvert ensuring proper run-off. I would highly recommend Charle and Metro Rootor.

David in the front office that took my call was awesome and professional and very pleasant and knowledgeable and Ray Wilson that came to my home to pump my septic tank was awesome he was very punctual arrived when he said did an outstanding job and was Great your company has a great asset with both associates and they should be recognized will definitely recommend your company and these men to everyone thank for a great job

He actually showed up on schedule an called to let me know he was arriving and was very professional. I have no working bathrooms in my home. Called early this morning and was told someone could come and that with the Saturday fee it would be over $600. No problem, I even gave them my credit card #. Said they would text when on the way. I get a call a couple hours later that now they can’t come. Unprofessional especially in an emergency situation.

Dennis quickly & correctly analyzed the problem which wasn't readily apparent. Fixed it and cleaned up the work area. He is truly an experienced professional who I will request for my next plumbing problem and will recommend him to neighbors.

We were having sewer issues at our Dunkin/Circle K, David Wilson and Mike Small came to the immediate assistance. They were very informative on what we can to help with future issues and did a very professional job getting it done quickly without interrupting service.

Teach whoever was servicing the apartments on touchton how to drive. Almost caused a three car pileup pulling out in front of vehicles. After being honked at they proceed to stop in oncoming traffic I guess to cause a bigger issue.

I called for emergency clogged sewer line for my elderly parents home. I didn't get service for 2 days. A tech finally came and attempted to snake the line. He left telling my father he would come back with a camera. That was 4 weeks ago and we still haven't heard back from him by a phone call or anyone from the company.We ended up hiring Roto Rooter who came within 1 hour. Assessed the problem and worked on a Saturday and Sunday to replace the line. Thanks to there Profesional assistance and recognizing the needs of 2 elderly people the job was done promptly and to satisfaction.I own 4 homes and will never use Metro Rooter again

David Wilson did a wonderful job, pumping and cleaning, our grease trap. In the pass we had a lot of grease trap cleaner come out. Not a single one did as good as divid did. Ty I will make sure to call him in the future.

David Wilson and his company offered their time and equipment to service the VFW Post 7909 pumping. David worked very hard and volunteered his time and resolved pumping issues. Thank you David and Metro Rooter for all your time and services.

Called to get waterheater and drain looked at. Got an appointment called off work to be available since they didn't give an estimated time or time range even with a $215 service fee just to get them out. Dispatch called to cancel final got some to come out didn't have parts or understand the scope of my request. Didn't seem knowledgeable and had to call his supervisor for advise. Was told they would be back out the next day after 3pm. After no one showed up called in and they had nothing on record for him comming out and still only had replace water heater in the system. Would not recommend this company pretty much wasted $215 so I could tell someone what I need show him how I knew this by taking readings on the heating element with my tools since the tech didn't have a multimeter. Don't know how he planed to troubleshoot.

On Sunday, my old well pump, which had been failing for some time, finally quit. I called Dan at Metro Rooter and he set me up for an appointment the next day. Technician Mike Small came out to the house, assessed the damage, gave me a full tutorial on the problem, what needed to be repaired, and how to protect my system better in the future. He was friendly, punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. I was back with water, no more whistling and whining showers, and incredible water pressure in no time! Thanks, Mike! I had an appointment scheduled about a week ago. I call around 8am to confirm and find out what time about the truck was going to arrive and I was told btw 10 &12. Around 11 got a call from their tec asking if I still need the pump out. I am here waiting for you since 8:30. I said. He said I will be there in 30 min. Around 1:30 sent txt asking if they are still coming and he kept on typing and typing but no msg. I kept waiting for the msg and watching my phone. The tec was typing and stoping typing because he was coming up with an excuse. Then I got mg saying that the truck was broken and he forgot to call me.I called customer service. I told the lady was going on and she put me hold. After she come back she was saying you still on schedule for today. So I asked if their were going to be there no maybe not finally she said they are but there was a good chance they not going to make it there today. She said tuck was in the shop already but the technician said they were waiting on a tow truck 5 minutes ago. I know trucks brake down but they were not honest what really the problem was. Very likely too many jobs scheduled for the same day. I had this planned out. I took a day off to get this going and nothing. I will not use or ever recommend their service to anyone...

We had our grease traps pumped out today. David Wilson was the tech performing the work. He was very professional. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable of his profession - he answered every question. He was scheduled to be on site at 9am, and arrived 9am sharp. He commented that everything was in good working order, and would like to come back for our next bi-monthly service to ensure we're set up at the correct interval. I would very much appreciate if David was sent out to handle our grease traps from now on. I feel we're in good hands with David - he's a great representative for Metro-Rooter. I would also like to comment that while David was pumping the grease traps, Robert Giordano showed up to see if he could do anything for us and to inquire if we were satisfied with Metro-Rooter's service (not the first time Robert came out to check on Metro-Rooter's service). Robert and Tevin came to our home to pump out the septic in advance of a pump replacement. They were extremely professional and competent and overcame some obstructions (pipes blocking the lid) to successfully pump it out. I recommend this firm for septic work and have always had a good experience with them.Next Day Juan Q. came out to fix the pump. Encountered a number of issues and worked through all of them very professionally and competently. He brought in Chansi to help with additional pumping and then Rousseau to help finish the replacement installation.Can't say enough about the solid professional work done by Juan and the rest of the team. Would not hesitate to call them again or to recommend them. They are great at what they do!

We have used Metro Rooter for years and always had great customer service. They respond quickly, they are polite, and are knowledgeable. We have had to call them about 7-8 over the years and every single time was a good experience. Today, was no exception. We had a sump pump issue and we needed a new pump. I cannot say enough about the technician, Kyle Mills, who came out to take care of the issue. He was by far the most knowledgeable and skilled technician I have ever seen. He apparently had experience and training in several other areas other than plumbing and standard septic tank issues. He went far above and beyond to help us with our septic issues and even took the time to educate me about the system. This guy is not your average Joe. I also want to say that Ms. Johnny is very professional and friendly and also went out of her way to handle our emergency. I just cannot say enough about these two Metro Rooter employees. As a business owner myself, I completely understand the value of exceptional employees as they are hard to find. Metro Rooter is blessed with several. Thank you Metro Rooter. Cindy, the office staff person that took my call was extremely friendly and helpful. She set my appointment for the next morning and as promised I was called by the driver 20 minutes before arrival. Rob, the service technician was also extremely friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Since we are dealing with the current pandemic he maintained social distancing and wore a mask to protect us both. He did an excellent job and quickly found the cap to the septic tank, pumped it out, flushed the tank out very well and then explained the benefit of using their bio-chem product to prevent sludge going into the drain field which would cost thousands of dollars to repair. He also recommended another product to keep the system maintained and healthy. I would highly recommend Metro Rooter if you require this service.

My serviceman David is THE BEST! he is thorough, professional and communicates better than any other that I have had in my premise in the 3 years that I have had service with Metro Rooter. I would have no one else do my trap service than David.

I called this company early on Tuesday morning to say I needed my septic tank pumped out as I as having problems with back up . They told me they could come out but it would be an emergency and therefore cost more which I was ok with as I was glad to have someone come out. I gave them my info including my phone number and email address also a cc number . They said I would be out in the day’s schedule and contacted.. my husband stayed home from work and we uncovered the tank and got everything ready for them. By 1pm we hadn’t heard from them so I called and was told yes we were on the schedule and a technician would text me before he came . A 4.50 still no one so I called again and was told oh no they won’t come today maybe tomorrow and sorry no one called to let me know , then she said oh they tried to cal but must have dialed the wrong number, I said that would not do as I needed my tank pump and if I had known I would have called another company . After putting me in hold for ever she came back and said they will be there but late anc it might be dark . As it got to be very late I kept trying to calm them and tell them just cancel it and come the next morning but they have no answering service even though they say 24 hours .At 9.50 pm I got the managers number to tell him to please cancel and he told me they don’t do pumping at night so calm back tomorrow, as I tried to explain why I had called him he just said have a good evening and hung up in me . It seems they make lots of promises but don’t actually come through and the manager Dan us very rude and unprofessional.Now I hope I can get another company that does turn up !Update called this morning and they say they have an assigned person named Chancy that will be out this a m to pump the tank . I hope soFinal update :have updated starsSo they came out this morning , I was not home but my husband was. He said they were very polite and did a good job if pumping the tank out. Also did not charge me a emergency fee which I feel was correct thing to do . The manager Dan also called to apologize for the rude manner on the phone . I do appreciate the follow up and am happy it has been taken care if . Good communication would have made this a much better experience.

Needed service in a hurry. Spoke to John in dispatch and he advised he would have a tech onsite in 2 hours. 30 minutes later John called back to say everything was as scheduled. 1 hour later the same call again...everything on schedule. 30 minutes before they were to arrive the tech called to say he would be there on time. Sure enough...showed up exactly as scheduled. Work performed was intense as we had to redo a complete sewer line system so I stayed and observed. Excellent work and true professionalism. Now get this...they actually called back a couple of hours after work was completed just to check to make sure we were happy and the tech left his personal cell so we could call anytime if any problems. Again, work was intense so I was expecting an intense invoice...but was surprised again as the total cost was very reasonable. If every vendor we worked with was as competent as these guys my job would be very easy. Thanks John and Metro Rooter. As you already know...we have used you several times since and you are now our go to plumbers!!!

I am so thankful that we found Metro-Rooter. When I called, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. The plumbers, Tom and Hunter came on time and were very professional. Tom quoted me a price but after the work was complete the price was less because he didn't have to use as much pipe as he thought. I was impressed at his honesty because we would have never known the difference. After the work was completed they explained everything they did to repair our problem. I would highly recommend these two men to anyone who has plumbing needs.

Starting with the terrific customer service on the phone with Helen, my experience has been great with Metro Rooter!! A very professional and knowledgeable plumber, Tom Zaruta, showed up this morning and fixed our clogged lines. He was also so polite and patient with my many questions. He had great attention to detail & made sure to put things back in place, ensuring a clean, safe working area.The price was right ! Very affordable! I highly recommend this service & Tom !!

I am so glad that I called Metro-Rooter. Everyone that I dealt with was professional, personable and had amazing work ethics. From Rousseau who replaced the bad sump pump, to Chanzi who pumped out our tanks in both the front and side yards, to Dan the branch manager. They were all beyond kind and pleasant to work with even though the work ended up being much more than originally thought. They all had the same attitude that they would make it work and get everything done; even though additional work was required, and it was late in the day and I am sure they wanted to get home. It was very evident that teamwork and customer service were their ultimate goals. I have always felt that managers that don’t mind getting in the trenches make the best leaders. Dan exemplified that behavior. I highly recommend this company for your septic tank needs.

Kyle is always on time, if not early! He does a very good job at emptying our grease trap. Efficient and clean. And he is so nice and polite. A real pleasure with work with. Rousseau called me yesterday and met me at 7:30 this morning. He was extremely professional. Conducted his own testing to ensure he was correcting the issue and discovered it was a previous technician's error causing our problem. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done in order to fix the issue. He was quick and honest about not having parts necessary to complete the job but stated he would be back tomorrow. I called yesterday to get someone out to replace my water heater. They not only came out today, they came out earlier than expected and finished in amazing time!The gentleman who performed the service was very professional and was extremely polite! I will absolutely use them for all my plumbing needs and recommend them to all my friends!!!

Needed someone to check out our septic tank and pump if needed. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that came out. He was so nice and professional. Answered all our questions and was very thorough. Turns out the septic tank functionality was fine but was full. Everything ran great...for about 4 days. Called Metro Rooted again to have someone come out to check our main pipe from the house to the septic. Enter Tony. I cannot say enough about this man and his knowledge about the situation. He answered all the questions and even drew pictures and had diagrams. I now know more than I ever thought I would about how plumbing works. Thankfully, it was, in fact, a blockage in the main pipe and not something with the septic tank or leech field. I would recommend these folks to anyone!

We bought a new house a few months ago but had no idea where our septic tank was. David came over this morning and introduced himself. Today is Black Friday and we are having friends get together at our house tonight. As my wife is preparing we discover our septic tank is full. Called at about 2:00 and spoke with Brooke. She was super helpful and was able to get someone out to us on short notice. He arrived shortly after 3:00. Didn’t get his name, but he was helpful and professional. I made an appointment and was surprised I had to give my cc number to make that appointment. We were scheduled for the next day and at 2:30 the next day they had not called or shown up. When I called them they let me know that they had cancelled all their appointments because of an all night emergency city job. Why I didn’t get a curtesy call? Don’t know? They were too busy. This was not a good start so I decided to go with someone else. Two stars because everyone was polite despite my fussing at them. I haven’t had a shower for two days because of backed up system so I’m irritated. They may be a good company for all I know but again, one phone call would’ve helped them greatly.

I set up an appointment for Metro-Rooter to pump my septic tank , had an appointment window form 12-4PM. Received a call at 1145 from the technician stating he was on his way, arrived at about noon, awesome timing. Technician went right to work, found my septic tank access points and commenced pumping. While he was pumping my tank, he explained in great detail about the drain lines and filter system, why there were two different sides to my tank (water and solids) and how and why they are kept separate to ensure a smooth run through my drain lines. When he was finished pumping, the inside of the tank look new and he also verified prior to closing up the tank that the influent line from the house was in deed draining into the tank and they there were no hidden clogs in the main drain coming Into the tank. When he left the job site, he ensure that everything looked as it did prior to his his arrival, as he was never really here. The name of this technician in Chanzy, ask for him and you can’t go wrong......this place is highly recommended!!!! True professionals.!

Just had David Wilson come out and pump our grease trap at the Loop Pizza Grill on Wells Rd (as part of our monthly maintenance). He did a great job and found a line that needed extra attention. He spent that extra effort making sure our lines were running properly and we can't thank him enough. We would love to have him as our regular operator, once a month!

They have been the most reliable pumping service for as long as we’ve lived in our home. We called other companies but Metro-Rooter was the only one to answer the phone. Krystal was so sweet and told us if we didn’t anyone to come out, to call them back. After no one answered or called us, we called Metro-Rooter back and Krystal made sure we were on the schedule. She tried to get us on their Sunday schedule but they were booked. They gave us a window of arrival on Monday and they came within that window. They are definitely a reliable company. I like so support smaller businesses but if they don’t call you back, then they won’t get my business. The gentleman who pumped our septic tank was so nice and professional.

I had the come out 3 months ago even though when the pump stopped working it was under warranty they found a way to weasel out of replacing it. Charged me 650 bucks Once again having issues with the pump. I can't bring myself to call them again so they can figure out another way to gey more money out of me. Someone come out and investigated the issue and discovered there was an issue with the pump and resolved it. I do regret the initial issue was not covered by the warranty but appreciate Dan's willingness to resolve the new issue. I have updated the rating accordingly.

I called Metro Rooter at 4:30 on a Friday because my commercial grease trap needed pumping as another company had let me down. The man in the office immediately notified the salesman who called me with in 5 minutes! They came out the next business day to give me a quote and sent a truck to pump it out right away! David who showed up to pump the tank was awesome! Very professional and answered any questions I had! Definitely give them a call!

Kyle was my service tech. Got here in a timely matter. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, had no problem with me watching asking questions and walking me through the process of changing out my septic sump pump. Very affordable price. Noticed my issue around 12 on a Friday called 3 other places local to me. Two never got back with me one didn't return my call till (called them at 2pm) 830pm. I finally called Metro-Rooter at 430pm. They said I was first call Saturday. Told me they would have someone here before 11 AM. Kyle was here at 930am done by 11 with everything working properly and cleaned up like he was never here. Metro-rooter will be my go to for all my future plumbing needs.

I have used Metro Rooter for septic tank pump-outs for years. Unfortunately I had to use other companies in emergency situations just because I could not get an appointment quick enough, and I can tell you that Metro Rooter is one of the best. Their guys are always very friendly and give you an honest assessment of your system. They have always been careful not to damage my lids or tank, and have always been on time (usually early). Don’t think twice about calling them, I highly recommend them!

Filled out their online form for service stating clearly what kind of piping I had (with a picture) and what I wanted done. Small job adding a hose bib. Was called within the hour by a rep to set up an appointment. during that call I reiterated the kind of piping they would be dealing with and was told no problem, we'll be out the very next morning. No later than 12. Morning comes and goes with no contact. I call them at 1:30pm and was told they are running behind and the new time will be between 2-4pm. 4:30pm and no contact so I call again. Told soon. Soon turns out to be 6:30 pm where the plumber takes one look at my pipe and says he doesn't have the equipment on his truck for my pipe and it will be 2-3 days before they can get back to me. I won't be using them again. Communication and punctuality is poor. Came unprepared despite me clearly stating with pictures what the situation was.Updating my rating to 3 stars as they did apologize and went the extra mile to try and make it right. The work had already been completed when they reached out.

Metro Rooter is awesome. Toilets started backing up Friday night at midnight, they had someone out Saturday at noon and pumped the septic tank. Then an hour later they sent another technician out to inspect our pump. Both were very nice and professional and fixed all of our problems. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ronald Ayers with Metro-Rooter was such a help to us! We had very bad plumbing issues and he worked very hard to make sure that everything was cleared out and usable again. He was courteous and kind, he explained what was happening and how he was going to fix it for us. He went above and beyond to help us and I could not be more grateful.

We had a septic tank emergency on a Sunday and called Metro Rooter emergency number. They had a representative come to my house early Monday. Mr cars well, Mr. Carswell, the fellow doing the pump out was very thorough. He identified a blockage and removed it as well as pumping the tank. He showed me where the baffle at the junction to the leach field was broken that could result in damage to the drain field if not fixed. I called Metro and they sent out another excellent technician, Mr. Elouthmani. The technician fixed the baffle and installed at my request a filter to protect the drain field. He also fixed a problem with the septic tank cover. The cost for both services was more than reasonable. Needless to say Metro-Rooter/Windriver Environmental will be the company we go to for servicing our septic system from now on.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We had to have our drainfield rebuilt and metro rooter was recommended to us by several people. Instead, we decided to go with other company, just to regret it almost immediately. The other company left the job unfinished and we had to call metro rooter to do it. We got in contact with Dan Coates, which had been helping us from the beginning. He sent his team within a week and they took care of the whole issue professionally and with great care, even did some improvements to the original plan. They did a much better job than the company we originally hired and we were more than satisfied with the final product. The only regret we have is than we didn't go with metro rooter from the beginning. Thanks to Dan Coates for all the help and from now on, we won't even bother looking at other companies.

Thanks to Will F for coming out and figuring out an incredibly complicated (and overengineered by the previous owner of my home) outdoor drainage system that was so backed up, it was penetrating my walls. He figured out what their major competitor could not. On top of that, they charged a very reasonable rate for their hours of work. Will definitely use them and recommend them in the future.

Metro Rooter came out twice to fix a leak under our kitchen sink. Just checked and it is still leaking. Called them to come back out and found out we are out of warranty since it was 2 months ago. They only warranty their work for 30 days. Not only will we get billed again, but they will charge extra for Sunday calls. How's that for customer loyalty? When I asked, What happens if this keeps happening every two months, the response was, Well, if you buy a car and the warranty is only good for 5,000 miles and it breaks at 6,000, you have to pay. My response? That may be true, but you certainly don't take it back to the same crap place. I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone.

Had plumbing back up into our home this week. Thought it might be inside plumbing so called a plumbing company nearby. The guy spent 4 hours using the auger in the clean out pipe, on the roof going down the vent stack, and through the toilet. I did tell him we have a septic system.The situation was getting worse, not better, with every flush & every drain of the washing machine. I finally asked him to leave.Yesterday, thinking it might be the septic, I called Metro Rooter based on their good reviews on Google. They initially were going to be about 6 days before they could come out, but today they were able to work me in.Rob with Metro Rooter is awesome! He was very informative explaining how the septic system works and what might be wrong (since we had just pumped it out 1 year ago, I didn't think it could be backed up). Turns out the filter inside the tank going to the drain field was very clogged, which slowed water flow to the field, thereby causing back-up into the house. Rob cleaned the filter (last year's company who pumped it never even looked in that side of the tank to see if the filter was dirty). He also took the time to show me how to open our clean out lid, which is behind the house & on the way to the septic. If we ever have a back up again, we can look down that lid & see if water is freely flowing from inside the house. If not, we know it's inside issue; if it is, then it's outside issue.Also, Rob took care to cut my sod so that he could place it back over the tank area when done pumping. Last year's pump-out company trashed the sod & left a pile of dirt & chewed up grass when they were done.Metro Rooter is our new go-to plumbing company for sure.

And he said he will send the copy by the email. But I never received it. Unfortunately they raise the price on their second service . And we called the sales .He asked me to show his agreement copy. Had a leak underneath the kitchen sink. Tom Zaruta was their plumber who came out. He diagnosed the situation and found the leak in the faucet and notified me of a manufacture warranty on my faucet, so he fixed my problem, saved me money and was in and out in no time.. Response time was incredible, all employees I dealt with were incredibly kind and professional. Excellent quality and would recommend them for any job.

Metro Rooter was suggested by our real estate agent as the cheapest way to inspect a septic system at a house we were considering purchasing. Long story short, the experience was horrible. On the day of inspection the inspector told our agent and the homeowner that there were only a couple small issues and that the system passed inspection. The homeowner agreed to fix the issues and sale went into contract based on that verbal report. Then, for two weeks or so our agent could not get in touch with anyone to get a copy of the report. Then one day I get a call from our agent telling me she finally got the report, that it said the septic had to be completely replaced to tune of about 10k and the homeowner was getting ready to cancel the pending sale. This amounted to alot of STRESS on our part. As we couldn't trust this report, based on the huge disparity between verbal and written report, we were forced to hire another company for another report. Low and behold this report came back in 24 hrs and confirmed that, besides the minor issues noted in Metro Rooters report, which had already been fixed the septic system was fine.We have been living in this house for months now and no issues. My firm belief is that either there was a complete breakdown in the inspection process or Metro was trying to drum up business by saying we needed new tank and field. Either way, this situation caused much stress and cost me an additional 475.00 by hiring a separate company.I would not under any circumstances hire this company for any business, especially inspection of septic fields.

We used another local plumbing company for years until recently when I tried to get a quote to install a new bathtub. It was quite an ordeal just to get someone to my house for the quote, and then they wanted to severely overcharge us and schedule a special trip to have someone install it.I called Metro-Rooter who was more than happy to quickly install my new tub at a reasonable price. They were so professional and thorough that it didn’t even matter that we were paying the hourly rate. They even tested everything to make sure everything worked correctly without leaks.I just called them today to clear a clogged drain in the kitchen and asked if the person coming out will be able to give me a quote to install my new toilet and sink using VA grant money. They said that he can. This makes life so much easier, and I’m really glad that we made the switch!

Made an appointment for a septic pump out and requested an AM appointment, as I had to install a new sump pump after and didn’t want to run out of daylight. The morning of the appointment, I still hadn’t heard what time they would be out, so I called and was told it would be between 11 and 2. I left work very early to ensure I was home by 11. Come 2:30, I was still waiting. I called back, and the woman told me she had tried calling me to tell me they couldn’t make it because of other ‘emergencies’ (I guess the toilets and drains backing up in my house don’t count as an ‘emergency’). I asked her to clarify, as I had been sitting next my phone all afternoon in case they called. She read back the phone number to me, and they had it written down completely wrong. I’ve missed one day of work and will now have to miss another because of their screwup with my phone number and inability to keep appointment times. Totally unacceptable.

We had metro rooter come out about a week ago for some septic issues. When they where probing around they hit our water line. It started as a slow leek but continued to get worse. We called and told them what was going on. They sent someone out the same day. They fixed the problem quickly and for no charge. Very responsive I highly recommend.

Ron was our hero on our jet job. He and his partner in crime Dan saw that to do a perfect jet job we needed our grease trap pumped and when I called the office they had no men in the area until Dan called and told them it was an emergency and that we needed to make it happen. I have been a long time customer of Metro Rooter for septic tank clean out. This year a gentleman by the name of Chansi was sent to do the job he was very
polite very professional and I would highly recommend this company and will use them again for my next pumping .

Although the Metro Rooter tech did an acceptable job fixing the problem, the prices they charge are the equivalent of highway robbery. The tech wanted to charge me $395 to scope out the drain line with a camera even though I never asked them to do this. Beware of their pricing! I have no problem with a company making a healthy profit. In my case however, they took advantage of our situation. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Great service! Called before they came out, arrived promptly, and cleaned out the drains quick. Patrick was our plumber and he stayed on site until we ran water thru the drains a few times to make sure that he didn't miss anything.

I was hesitant in calling a plumber, since I have not had good results in the past. Having an older home seems to cause some plumbers to do a lesser than expected job. Over the years, I had poor service from one company, & had to call a 2nd company back out to correct their mistake. However, I am happy to say that Donald Anderson did a superb job fixing my leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. Since it was also stopped up, he had to use the snake from on top of the roof to remove the blockage. He then checked to ensure the dishwasher was flowing clearly upon draining, as well. We called Metro Rooter and they sent out Bill the Plumber (sorry Mr. Bill, never got your last name) He came out and found a blockage in the line and we thought everything was resolved. The problem came up again days later. Mr. Bill was able to come out again (at no charge) and was able to locate another clog deeper in the line. Now everything seems to be working great. We have plans to have Metro come out and redo a couple of pipes and look into replacing our hot water heater. We have nothing but great experiences with Metro and Mr. Bill is one of the nicest employees we have worked with. We would HIGHLY recommend Metro Rooter.

Called for a pump out and Chanzi came and was courteous and professional. Educated me on needing a new pump in my dozier tank to pump water out to my drainfield. Matt was there the next day, even though I had to work, and completed the job. So far so good!

First time customer with a clogged kitchen sink that would not drain at all. Tech Errol arrived in a little more than an hour after I called. He put on his shoe booties and went right to work. Everything was cleaned up just like he'd never been here. I was really impressed! Six stars!

On Monday June 17 we came home and did not have any water. We went outside to check the pumps and the PVC pipes that were attached to the pump that supplies water to the house had melted and come out of the pump.We thought this was a plumbing problem so we called Metro Rooter and they came out and replaced the PVC pipes from the pump to the house. After they left, we went out to check the pump and found all the piping they had just replaced was leaking and so we turned off the pumps so we were without water that night.We contacted Metro Rooter for a refund. They stood by their repair even though we sent pictures of all the attachments leaking. they were very rude.

We have had issues with one of our toilets for years and thought I needed the main line snaked. I finally decided to call a professional. Ron Ayers was sent to our home. Instead of charging for the line, he diagnosed that the problem was most likely with the toilet and recommended we get a new one. He gave us a quote and we called him back to do the install. Everything was very professional--and he took to old one to the curb. Thanks to Ron, you will have me as a customer for life and I will definitely recommend your business to my friends.

It was the worst experience ever!The guy came to my house, made a huge mess in my yard even though we told him where was the location of the tank, and he broke the lid!He did not fix anything, and he left the yard in a really bad situation.He charged us $260 and when we asked for a receipt he ran to his truck and leftI called to complain and the lady told me that they will call me back and they never did!!Never doing business with them again!

Our main sewer line was backed up, and JEA couldn't help us. I rented a 100' automatic snake and ran it down the toilet drain, but to no avail. I called Metro Rooter, fearing a huge bill and a lot of hidden charges from a company. Instead, they sent Rick out, and he arrive less than 3 hours after I called! Rick was not only excellent at his job; he also was very kind and understanding! He got it fixed very quickly and barely charged us anything at all! Due to Rick's kindness and expertise, as well as the EXTREMELY fair and low pricing, my wife and I will always use and recommend Metro Rooter!

The manager at my business asked the worker to please give the owner a call. He spent a few hours on the job. Left without saying anything. The manager called metro and asked if someone could give the owner a call to let them know what's going on. No one ever called. Job was never completed. All toilets were still not working. Left us in a bad situation. How does someone leave without any communication? How does the office not follow up? Unreal.

Bill and Donald were fantastic.I had tree roots growing into the sewage pipes underneath the house , blocking both master and hallway bath.They located where the problem was originating from and resolved it.they also removed an old cast iron tub which was difficult and extremly heavy.They were polite, professional, and extremely efficient.I would not hesitate to call them back!

My father recently moved here & purchased a home but we had no idea of some of the plumbing issues we would soon find. We had a broken water main going into the house & need help right away as it had flooded most of the house. They sent a very nice, polite & professional young man out who not only fixed the problem but also to the extra time to install a new tub fixture for us when he could have just said that's not something we do on Saturdays as so many other companies would have done. He was more than helpful and just wanted to make sure that we anything we needed done before he left. (And I forgot to mention this was after 8pm on a Saturday night)Our next encounter would be about the same as my Dad put the washer & dryer in the laundry room and started a load of laundry we realized that the room & also the kitchen were flooded so we need serious help!! I called Metro & they had someone out there very quickly to find out what was going on. The final outcome was that the house had been re-piped before my dad purchased it but they had not re-piped the laundry room so the water had no out let. Tom & his crew came to our rescue and saved the day not only once now but twice, they were very fair in the pricing and also disused about what it might cost so we didn’t get blindsided with a huge bill that we couldn’t pay. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, trustworthy, professional company who is just looking out for their neighbors!!!

I'm selling a home built in 2006 and my buyers hired Metro-Rooter for their septic inspection. They came back with a complete failure of the system. I called and spoke to someone at the company and they said that there was a hole in the tank and the whole system needed replaced and it would cost $10,000. plus. I just couldn't believe a system of that age would fail so I called another company and he went out and took pictures and proved that everything Metro Rooter was saying was untrue. Had I lost my buyer over this, they would have been talking to my lawyer. Don't ever use them they are not trustworthy!

Yesterday, I was expecting 20 family members at my home. It was Sunday. The ONE toilet in my small home backed up. Tony came out within 45 minutes and saved the day! He was kind, courteous, efficient and explained everything. He is my hero!

I am trying to move into a new house, well not new - it needs lots of work - including plumbing/septic, called metro first thing and they were out in 2 days. However, the lid on my septic tank was not put back on straight and now it's full and flooded again (rain?)I called the office back and talked to Helen who didnt want to schedule a new appointment but would instead call and say are you there right now? After 3 weird/un-scheduled attempts I finally got a hold of Shaunie(?) who also had attitude and would interrupt me and argue with everything I said.I think they are sending someone out today, finally, but we shall see.

I'm late with this review. In March 2018 JEA sent us a notice of high water usage so I looked around the house under the sinks, at the tubs and all of our outside faucets and found nothing. I checked the outside main still nothing. So I called out Metro when I noticed a heavily wet spot under one of our trees next to our home. Unfortunately when the young man Dani came out it had being raining and you could no longer tell what was what. Let me just say that young man is a TRUE professional and a great asset to Metro. He found the leak and boy was it a leak, it was located under the tree and the roots had crushed the existing pipe. Dani fixed it and things have gone back to normal. He gave excellent customer service and explained everything in detail. We are definitely going to have Metro repipe our entire home as soon as we can. Metro is great! I have used Metro Rooter for my plumbing needs for several years. Recently I had an issue with the bathroom floor at my rental property. They immediately sent an employee to remove the toilet and then returned promptly on Saturday as soon as the floor and tile were in place to complete the job. My tennants had minimal disruption due to their coordination with two other contractors and even refered me to their tile contractor when I couldn't find one to do the job NOW! Metro Rooter provides great service. No job is too big or too small. Thanks again, Metro Rooter!

Could not ask for better service. I believe Donald was the person who completed the job, he was awesome. He had to dig 3 or 4 feet down, replace broken pipe, shut off etc. Looked like it never happened when he left. Kudos to Donald for a job well done.

Bruce Hartsfield is “bar none” the BEST plumber in NE Florida. He is so good he Is busy all the time but makes every effort to get to you just as quick as he can. He is the only one we trust with complex and difficult plumbing issues. This is for anything but especially commercial and high rise residential. When he retires I will have to also as don’t know who I can trust like him. He is excellent!PM

Dont bother....at least beware. I hired them to pump my septic tank and immediately after taking off the lid...the gentleman advises that the filter needs cleaning...$75. Thinking that there was some effort involved, i agreed to it. For that $75 he took my garden hose and washed off the filter...for 5 min while the tank was being pumped. I called the office to see if i really paid 75 for a guy to spend 5 min hosing something off or if he didnt do all that he was supposed to...yep...that's pretty much it (after 3 calls over 4 days to get some sort of explanation)

Jose the plumber Metro Rooter sent out to me was one hour later than I was expecting. He told me that they don't charge residential by the hour. I was charged 500 dollars labor for three hours work minus 1 hour for José to go get stems for a faucet. I told them that I was over charged at least 60 dollars more per hour than I was told. They don't seem to care.A BIG RIPOFF!Later the head man called me to apologize and sent me a check for $109.00. I will call them again for service.

The guys came out in the window that was given. Polite, professional, and efficient. I wish more companies had employees with such positive outlooks. is was like having Chick FIL A cleaning the septic system.

Just called. Won’t be hiring. About the rudest I’ve ever been spoken to. I called with an after hours emergency and was spoken to like a child because I asked for after hours assistance. They advertise 24 hour service and said the couldn’t get to us until Wednesday. When i questioned the timeline, i was reprimanded and told I’m not the only one in Jacksonville with septic issues with the recent weather and i just have to wait my turn. I’ll drown in grey water before i pay this company one cent.

I have a septic system, and have used their pump out service. However, I didn't realize that they did total replumbing until I had a very disappointing experience with another company. I called to ask when my last two pumpouts were, and the receptionist told me and said, let me let you speak with someone who knows more than I do. Dave told me how to trouble shoot my leak. I will definitely have them do any repairs!

Never had them do work for me but they obviously don't care about their reputation or public safety. I took pictures of one of their pump trucks riding my tail lights so close you couldn't see his, sped around me and flipped me off and then got directly in front of me and slammed on his breaks trying to make me rear end him. All while cussing and flipping me the bird. This was all because I was forced to merge onto 295 and he didn't want to let me merge, he would have rather me went into the emergency lane apparently.

I have used them multiple times and they do a very good job from basic plumbing repairs to septic tank clean out. The only issue I have had with them is sometimes they come earlier than expected without calling 1st which over all is not necessarily a bad thing

At 4.00 pm called and they said i was next because the tech had a late appointment on Thursday......Next. No call no show. I called Saturday afternoon and the automaton answering told me maybe Monday. No thanks. Used this company for years , not anymore. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

I call this company on 2/19/20 wed morning and schedule a appt for thursday 2/20/20 they told me no problem we will be there between 12-4 pm so now its thursday 130pm i took the day off work to meet these guys at my house to put new pipes under my sink . they just call me and said we are to busy to make to your house today can we reschedule ... this is a company you can not depend on DONT TRUST THEM THEY SUCK!!!!!!

Scheduled for septic pump after 1 pm on a Wednesday (my only afternoon off work). Got a call that morning that they had emergencies come up so couldn't come. Rescheduled to the following Wednesday after 1 pm. Sat around waiting until 2:45 and finally called to check status only to be told they can't make it again. Two afternoons wasted and service still not provided so looking elsewhere.

I work at a building where I'm the facility manager or maintenance guy I had a bunch of non-flushable paper towels and feminine hygiene products in the line where I work on top of it part of a clean out cover Ronald Ayers and Dan Williams were able to fish out part of the cleanout cover with a magnet and unclogged the line in a reasonable amount of time both of these guys are very experienced and what they know what to do and I've used metro quite a lot any one of their guys will have your problem solved fairly quickly
