My AC went out over the weekend, called Joe Cool at 0730 Monday morning they had a guy Adam out at 9 am. He diagnosed the problem and stated he could have it fixed in 2 hours. I thought it was a little pricy but I knew it would be fixed properly and within in 2 hours so I went ahead and had it fixed. Adam too pictures of the damage parts and the fixes that he did plus sent them to me for my reference. We have 5 dogs and they were no bother for him! Awesome job I will defiantly use them in the future when needed!

Another great experience with this company. I needed quick and I got it. I'm a member of their whole house plan so it was quick and painless. I understood everything they did and will be doing. Ed was professional and kind. They don't try to sell you stuff you can't afford either. I'm glad I found them in August when my A/C went out.

Joe Cool has been my AC maintenance company for the last six years. Primarily because of professional technicians like Mr. Davie Cates. I was met at the door by a very cheerful and polite Joe Cool employee on time and ready to go. Even though, he was diligent in his check list, he never seemed bothered by my questions. In fact, he shared pointers of how I could help my system work more efficiently and provided insight as to how I could help extend the life of my system. We had a water pump replaced and it was a nightmare they had to come out 6 different times and I was 4 days with no water! But they didn’t give up and even tho I lost my temper on the 3rd day they kept coming back out until Aaron figured out what the problem was and fixed it!!! They will not stop until you’re happy.

Javier was superb. We have a 13 year old system that is showing its age. But it is working pretty well overall so Javier identified two component issues and explained the problems. Garrett was great to work with. He took multiple pictures of the issues my AC was experiencing and explained the best options for me to pursue. I appreciate that the company was able to get someone to me the same day since it's never fun to be without AC in Florida!
Today I had a HVAC installed. The two installers did a great job. They didn't leave until they were satisfied the system was running perfectly. The salesman made sure that we got the perfect system for our home.
If there were a rating system more than 5 stars I would give it to Joe Cool's products and employees.

Jimmy and Dakota were extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient. We had an emergency pipe issue and they came out, diagnosed and repaired our pipes. Dale came out the following day and I was equally impressed. Dale explained what needed to be done, explained in detail and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again.

Called Joe Cool to come and inspect my overflow gasket in the bathtub on a Friday. Natalie came out early Saturday morning. She inspected and replaced the gasket and performed a leak check. Loved the service and the attention to detail from Natalie. Would definitely use them again.

Mark is a excellent technician, he expected to pull the toilet per his previous technicians visit, instead he ran the snake through the roof vent and after two tries the toilet flushed properly. The toilet did not have to be removed, total job time was about 2.5 hours, cost of job was a little high but I talked to the Mgr, and he did refund me some money, high cost was due to the expectation of pulling the toilet, which ended up not being necessary, three trips happened, while it could have been done in one.

Worst plumbing company in all of Tampa. I've been waiting for a call back from the manager for three weeks. Multiple calls made without any call back.
They cut unnecessary holes in my sheetrock and did NOT resolve my issue.
I went with a real company instead. One that offered better value, service and customer service. Save your money do not go with this company.

We had Dale from Joe Cools come out a few days in a row, and he did a great job with fixing our plumbing issues (water heater, shower leaks, etc) in our old home! He was great! We recommend him 100%! Will be giving Dale referrals to our friends and family if they ever need these services.

Called 3 plumbers to inquire about a non working toilet and leaky water heater. Joe Cool was the most professional in explaining what was likely going on and had someone out within a couple hours. Mitch showed up, was super thorough in explaining everything along the way. I paid a super reasonable rate and wasn’t oversold anything. I found my plumbing company.

Joe, the tech not the owner, was great. He was knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly explained what he was doing each step of the way, was incredibly respectful of our home & pets, and has a terrific sense of humor to boot (particularly helpful in our 87 degree home at the tine.)
I highly recommend the Cool Joe maintenance and service contracts, the entire Joe Cool team, and especially super tech Joe.
Be super cautious with these people. Very unprofessional and my AC is on my roof. Had a new unit purchased and installed and they missed over 5 obvious city checkpoints for a generic install. 5 OBVIOUS things…let’s just say my unit sits at like a 25 degree angle up on a flat roof. Hahaha ya how does that happen? Well it’s not flooding my entire house and they could care less. Asked me to hire a $1,000 legal inspector to assess who was wrong and the inspector said clearly them look at this pathetic install job. Now Joe Cool says nope I’m a liar and they will hire their own inspector. Riddle me this it’s been since June 1st install date and they can’t even do a good enough job to clear the permit. City is laughing at them but then they want to blame me for spending money for a new AC and I’m at fault. Joke of a company and management will cuss you out, call you bad names, smoke cigarettes in your driveway, tell you good luck to find someone else to fix my house, laugh at you with their team getting into the car and then speed off making rude remarks. Sad display of a business and I’ll get what I’m owed!! You’re lucky I can only add photos to this review because the videos would shock you. That’s if you actually send out a licensed AC guy to check on my unit instead of a guy who only works in plumbing hahahahahahahaha

I meet with Tom -advisor person to discuss my AC options. All the information he gives me were so helpful. He and the whole company gives me a little bit time to think about it and to choose which options will be the best for me!
Show sufficient understanding if the customer needs to find payment options.

Joe Cool has replaced both of our cooling systems over the past 5 years and maintains them today. Good people.
Couldn’t be more pleased with the response and service that Natalie and the entire Joe Cool plumbing team provided. Natalie and her colleague arrived quickly to plug a leaky hot water tank, and returned the following morning to replace the tank. They also identified another leak, which I was not aware of, and repaired that as well. The price struck me as fair. Very happy and will recommend Joe Cool to my neighbors and friends.

Simple repair of fixing a leak. Cut out the bad section maybe a 12 or less of copper pipe and 2 couplers and sweat them in.
I already had found the leak and dug around it.
For that repair maybe 1 1/2 quote by tech.

I have really liked the AC techs, very good and reasonably priced. Not so with plumbers 2nd time I have been disappointed ... All though I don't like the price quoted doesn't mean that their work is sub par. Just think the price is high for me...

Kyle was my Technician whom installed a new Water Heater and Expansion Tank. He did an exceptional job, took care to protect my home. Kyle has extreme knowledge which he shared when I asked questions. He is professional, excellent communication skills, proficient work habits, patient, kind, pleasant and cleaned up the work area before leaving. I am so confident in his skills that I am scheduling future work with him to install a new toilet, sink and fixture which I have put off for many years. The washing machine drain was backing up and we discovered when Austin tried to snake the vent pipe from the roof that the pipe was disconnected and had to install a Studer vent to prevent sewer gas from getting into the living space. He was very professional, did a great job, and returned everything back to how it looked before. He explained everything he was about to do before he began. We've been customers of Edward I. Case plumbing since 1976 and now that they have been incorporated into Joe Cool, they will continue to be our plumber of choice.
Very unhappy with my experience, and I'd caution everyone to find a company that is more experienced, and that returns your calls.
We had them come out to repair a leak in a pipe that was under the edge of our driveway. Their quote went from ~400, to ~1300, to ~5000. They said that the entire pipe would have to be re-ran from the main city line up to our house, including all the baggage that comes with digging up your yard and landscaping. They had tried a whole 15 minutes to repair the leak but quickly resorted to the $5,000 quote and a new pipe altogether.
Being the quote was ridiculously high, we got a 2nd opinion. The more-experienced plumber fixed it in less than an hour, and charged us $400.
Since then, we've been leaving messages each day asking for a refund for what we've already paid them. All they've done for us is cut a hole in our driveway, and leave a thick layer of dust all over our entire garage. (Yes, they left the garage open while jackhammering the driveway, as we were away from the house.)
Joe Cool, please return our calls and give us our $1,300 back.
UPDATE1: A week later since I've written this review, and nothing has changed. I continue to leave a message every day, but hear nothing back.
UPDATE2: Finally, a month and a week of calling and emailing and waiting, we finally received a check for about a third of what we've paid them, for doing absolutely nothing except jackhammer a hole in our drive way, leave us a huge mess, and give record-levels of poor customer service. We had to pay a separate plumber to do their job right. They are a huge disappointment.
Joe Cool has been my go to service provider for a few years now, and I'm always happy with their work! Whether it's a big job like shower demolition and installation, or small jobs like annual AC/plumbing check ups, the job is done thoroughly and well. Special thanks to Marcus M today for fixing so many small issues in my plumbing today and providing me with lots of helpful tips!

I have had other AC companies come out, but this one really did a thorough job. Very impressed. Opened the inside unit and even cleaned the flew. Nice job guys.

From start to finish Joe Cool is the best. I called them about my house in Seminole Heights where we were having a major plumping stoppage. We had prior used home warranty to snake the house 3 separate times before being told that these were the guys who could finally fix the problem. Josh and their whole team were thorough, articulate, and professional. They came in needing no hand-holding to get started and used their modern equipment to diagnose the problem. After reviewing the information that we needed our pipes dug up and replaced, they provided a competitive quote that could not be beat anywhere else I called. The time between scheduling and the appointment we received top notch communications by the whole team 10/10. They even provide a service where they will come and snake your pipes in-between your appointment time. This ended up saving us from another potentially horrible weekend of wishing we could use our water. The work was done promptly and professionally like a well oiled machine. Look no further this is the ONE.
Dustin, Matt and the rest of the Joe Cool team performed a perfect job from troubleshooting the problem to installing an entirely new, upgraded system- flawlessly. Rae, the service tech relayed the project clearly who handed the issue off to Matt who found a full system in stock, while providing a free temp unit during scheduling. Only several days later, Dustin and his crew arrived on time, were professional and installed the new system without issue - ahead of schedule. Great job!
This was our second time using Joe Cool for A/C work. Prompt response, Very reasonable service charge, knowledgeable and friendly techs. We've had a few bad experiences with HVAC repair companies in the past; we're very happy to have found Joe Cool and highly recommend them.
Mike arrived on time and ready to start. He inspected the area around the toilet and found obvious signs of a leak. He gave us a written estimate which we thought was fair and once approved started the repair.
Mike was very thorough and continually cleaned the area where he was working. He was friendly and informative. The work was finished in a reasonable time. We were pleased with the entire process and would recommend Joe Cool and Mike.

The service expert Davie Cates was super helpful, kind and explained very well what the situation was and how he could repair it. Quick service and professionaly done, now my A/C is working more than great. Definitely reccomend getting your repair done with Joe Cooling and best of all if Davie is your service expert

They don’t keep bad reviews up so read this fast. Mom asked them to come out because of some special mail they sent out for a “whole home check up” and they found $6,000 worth of made-up junk to do. They replaced 2 toilets, charged for fixing the old ones. They broke the flange on one. They claimed to fix 4 faucets, but didn’t do a thing-I could not move the faucet in the kitchen from one sink to the other when they were done. They claimed mom needed a clean out of her drain for her washing machine (What?) They double charged, cheated and lied to my 94 year old mom. I called and screamed and screamed and they refunded a tiny portion to try to keep me from suing. They also charged her multiple times for replacements of parts on her a/c while she was on a service contract with them. LIES.
She just died and now we are finding this horrific work. We are having to pay real plumbers to fix it all. We really should sue them. They should be out of business. Do not use under any circumstances.
Also the 4 and 5 star reviews are paid for by giving people “free” services if they leave a good review. DO NOT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM. WARN YOUR AGING PARENTS.
Chris at the call center was amazing. He informed me that he was new to the company. He did everything that he could to answer my questions when he was not sure. Very professional and courteous.
David B was my technician and was informative and to the point. Got the work done in the time that he mentioned.
Every time that I have called Joe Cool for a technician they send someone that day or the following day.

My air conditioning still under warranty
It was working fine only the blower stays on after the compressor stop when it reached the set temperature at the house
The tech came not even 1 hour he charged almost $900.00
I knew the problem didn’t get fix
He tried to sell me an extra transistor
Day 2 I called again,this guy was perfect I explained to him the problem again
He figured it out ,it was the blower
Get charged again almost $700.00
After I talked to the manager he dropped to my believe almost $400.00
Not recommend at all
All this charges and my unit it still under warranty??

Was very professional and courteous when arrived and did his best to break bad news in a caring and understanding way. Explain that the entire process what would need to be done to fix the situation and length of time that construction would be going on in the house to resolve the issue.

We had a water softener system that was breaking down and clogging the faucets throughoo on it the house; we called Joe Cool Plumbing and they sent someone out that afternoon, assesses the problem, ordered parts and replaced the old system the next business day (it was Easter weekend). Serviceman Josh was on time, very professional, answered all our questions, expertly installed the new system and instructed us how to operate the new system before he left. He also removed the entire old system and cleaned up his work area. Great Job Josh! And Thank You Joe Cool!
