I’ve been in touch with the City of Clearwater Utilities dept, having them repeatedly tell me my reclaimed water system is in fact ON and functional.

However, this company was a able to come out, fully evaluate, review, and test the entire reclaimed water system to definitively verify there is no water flow coming through the reclaimed water pump.

I re-contacted City of Clearwater Utilities and told them this data and they are now sending someone out to evaluate and fix it.

You bet I will be asking for a full utilities refund on my reclaimed water, since Nov 21, plus the plumbers fees that would have been prevented if the city had provided me correct info, did their job, and solved the problem when I first requested them to come out.

The service personnel for this company was on time, professional, and very clear in their documentation for reference. Much appreciated.

Thought I might have a leak in an outside wall shared with a bathroom. Talked with Christy at Gulfview and she was able to get someone out in just a couple of hours. When John arrived, we talked about my concerns and John ran some tests. With both thought there was a chance that I had a leak so John set me up with the man who does leak detection for them, and was able to get him out at 4:00 the same afternoon. After 2 hours of using his instruments, he advised me there was no leak in the wall.

Even though no leak was found, at least I now have peace of mind. Everyone was super nice and professional, and I will definitely use Gulfview Plumbing in the future.

They had previously installed our tankless hot water heater and did an excellent job, so when we recently had some issues with a drain clog, we called them up again. We are a roofing contractor and our materials were being delivered to the customers home when the delivery truck drove over the water meter and cracked the pipe causing a leak which left the homeowner without water. The technician was experienced and efficient. Pricing is high but that’s what I hear of plumbing service. $1000 to install two external valves and a hose bib plus minor toilet rebuild and supply valve. Ouch. Not a great value.

What a relief to have found Gulfview Plumbing and Water Treatment in St. Petersburg, FL. My mother is 89 years old and navigating plumbing is very confusing for her. We used Gulfview Plumbing on a second home that my parents own on Sand Key in Clearwater Beach. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. In the office, Erin was very responsive and in the field, Josh was an excellent representative. Josh was able to quickly diagnose the problem and within minutes had it corrected. If you want honest, professional plumbing don't go to anyone else. Anthony knew just what to do and took care of 2 leaks in my bedroom for me. I would never use anyone else. Might not be the first plumber you've ever used but it will be the last. You won't use anymore else once you give these guys a try. I have used them at my last two properties and they have been incredible. I just had them re-pipe my entire house and install a water softening system and I could not be happier with the level of service, quality, and value. Anthony did an INCREDIBLE job managing the team and making making sure the work was done so well that even the inspector remarked on how well it was done. Gulfview was great. I called them yesterday, Anthony came out today. My water heater started acting up…not always hot when we needed it. He came out diagnosed the problem, informed me the repairs wouldn’t be worth it, and may not last. My water heater was out dated and not properly installed the first time. I received a fair quote to replace the old heater and install it properly. Anthony had the unit installed in no time. Now we have hot water again. Thanks Gulfview. I will be calling back soon for options on water treatment. I highly recommend.

The crew at Gulfview Plumbing was responsive and thorough through our kitchen remodeling project at a stressful time just before our wedding. The communication as the plumber was on his way was very good. The plumber explained the issue clearly and he was thorough, careful and cleaned up after himself.

A techninician came out and assessed the work we needed done. However, they general estimate estimate provided did not allow us to compare the breakdown of work to that of other companies. We left a message on their voice mail requesting an itemized breakdown, which is what we had received from other companies. No reply. We called a few days later and spoke to the owner's wife who explained that is not the kind of estimate they offer (huhm...), but she would see what she could do...That was the last we heard from this company. That was over a month ago...

John was fantastic working on my rinnai tankless heater! Called in the morning and they were out the same day. Now have a party of 3 women who are happy to have a hot shower tonight!

They were very responsive and professional and took great care in removing our Tub without cracking a single tile in our bathroom, and repairing a major mistake the original developer made when is talking the tub back in 1997 and didn’t seal the drain pipe. UPDATE: Spoke with John after he reached out and my concerns were a combination of miscommunication and training a newer employee and he wanted to do everything to make it fair and right. Many companies do not do that. I will definitely use them again too knowing how strongly the owner stands behind their customer experience and satisfaction. I am leaving my original post below because it's good to know if didn't have a perfect experience, that you're working with a company whose owners care to try to fix it. All considered I now give 5 stars.

Original post: Had a pipe leak at duplex but first wanted to redo a shutoff valve for one unit which was no longer working to help isolate it. I had dug it out so only the redo of it. When called they wouldn't quote over the phone but said could get free estimate. Fred showed up. First said it would be $374. (Another company over the phone had said $200 to $400). I had dugout both water shutout areas and since making that appointment could hear water from the other one, the leak got bigger. Fred found the leak right under where I dug. A cutoff that I had redone 2 years ago. He said it all had to be redone again and would cost $700 but I should just repipe everything for $2200 instead. It was PVC connecting to copper. Never had a problem on PVC part so didn't want to do that. Also the previous water shutoff only cost $300 so thought $700 way too high. He said if he does nothing would charge $149. (Not free estimate was told). So I decided if was going to be charged $149 no matter what would do the main shutoff since it was within range and look at other options for the leak. He then said he was new and the manager said the shutoff will actually cost $515 because it's not above ground. (Now costing more than others but decided to let them do it anyway since already there). Previously this type of piping had a few hours labor because of soldering, but a newer type of compression system lets them connect pipes in seconds. (Would think prices better since allows much more volume to do that). As he is finishing he asks about the leaking pipe. I ask him if using that system he can just cut out the one I recently had redone and reattach it fixing the leak. No way I was going to spend $700 for that. He said he probably could, it would be $225. Much more reasonable option. He said he had to get equipment and would return before the end of the day. (It was around 11 then I believe). (Also said they warranty their stuff 5 years but receipt shows 2 years).

Almost 6pm I call the office and they didn't think he was coming and couldn't reach him, so they send Brandon. (Didn't charge afterhours and got him over last minute so that was a very positive thing). He said it would be $275 but honored the $225 price was told by Brandon. Hope the compression fittings last as long as soldering, especially since no discount, you are paying as if the labor was just as long. And the $225 felt fairly reasonable though but was originally told $700 to unnecessarily redo it when it was done recently (the leak was a few inches under where the new piping had been done).

In summary I'm satisfied with the work done and glad the office got Brandon out in the evening. In future will try to get a couple quotes.

I wish I could be positve but I have never had any company treat me like this. I called for a new water heater and even added an extra 4 year mainteance package. it was installed on 01/28/2013. From day one one the water was not very very hot. I called and requested a technician to come out and check it. A couple of days later he came out and used a volt meter and said our electrical panel was sending out unbalanced negative power and I needed to call out Duke Energy to check the line. And he recommended Buell Electric to replace the inner fuse box and outside panel. He proceeded to bill me 159.00. I claimed that the I had a maintenance contract. He said since the problem wan't the water heater he shou;d really be be charging me 220.00.
I then proceeded to call Duke and pay Buell 5,000 to replace the boxes still no real heat. But now I am scared to call and get charged again so I try to live with it. After months of substandard temperatures I decided to get a 2nd opinion. The first problem was the water heater was placed too close to the wall and the the TPR valve could not be opened. He resolved that and there was hot water but only for 10 minutes. I called the guy back again and he said maybe it was the element. He takes it apart and the elements were severely corroded after under 10 months. The bottom one was so bad it could not be removed. I have s top of the line water softener on top of that. The last two softeners(from a different plumber) lasted 5 years without a water softener. I had to purchase a second new water heater(not fom Gulfview) but it works perfectly.

We purchased a home that had a horrible hot water smell (sat unused for several weeks), a small water softener and lacked a water filtration system. Zack and Nate diagnosed the situation promptly and offered several options (and the corresponding prices). After patiently answering all of my questions, I finally made a decision. They were able to do the job that very same day - fastest turn around time ever! Quality work and fabulous customer service (even gave a 20 minute heads up call when they were one the way). Highly recommend!!

UPDATED: I have to add another recognition with this company that has assisted us in our lovely plumbing needs. We had to call again to clean out our other vent to help clean out our issue. This time Jason came out and provided the same excellent care and explain things thoroughly and really was professional and nice. I have never been so impress with a company like I have with Gulfview. It starts from Diane who answers the phone and really explains the process and got us in on a timeframe that works with us; plus the courtesy call of when they're about to be here. I am really grateful to know this company cares truly about the customer needs in the most stressful times. Thank you again Gulfview!

Brandon came out and provided the most professional service I've had with a plumber(multiple drains started backing up into my house). I called and Chrissy made my appt for an estimate. The day of the appt a woman knocked on the door. It was Chrissy! She had the wrong phone number for me and personally drove over to make sure I knew the Estimator was on his way. Who does that?? I thought that was so impressive and caring. I purchased a whole house water filter and water softener. The guys were really great. Very pleased.

John was the 4th to look at what we thought was a leak on the bottom of our water heater connected to a solar panel AND THE FIRST TO DETERMINE it was a pinhole leak in the wall behind the heater. My name is vishi srinivsasanI had a serious heart attack the third time when my toilet was unflushing in the master bathroom on Friday 04/21/23. My other plumber who I texted him for emergency concern was sick for a few days and I needed urgent assistance. I called few additional plumbers on the top of gulfview and none of them would either come on weekends at all and I was terribly concerned about my toilet overflowing because this was an emergency. 2nd time when it even happened they had an appt the same day and I texted them in google chat that I found a different plumber which was on december 2022. They even said that if it doesn't work out call us back and they want to take care of me. I was very impressed that they had a slot the first thing on saturday morning when I called them on friday evening to take care of me. They advised me it was an overtime charge and I didn't mind at all on a situation like this. Even though I kept getting overly concerned gulfview zach was my guy where he even advised me to get augur snake to avoid being overcharged so it never happens again. They did it took good care of me and I would recommend them for future as long as they have an urgent last minute lot.

I am so relieved I have found an amazing plumbing company. Gulfview was world class from my first phone call speaking to Chrissy to Zach, the technician who came out. He was on time, he explained what he saw and what he needed to do and did the repair in about an hour. Before I found them I called friends asking if anyone had a reliable plumber. Nobody did. I have one now and I can enthusiastically recommend them.

I was very impressed with Felix and Danny. Their professionalism, Knowledge and helpfulness was beyond compare. Felix and Danny took The time to do an analysis of my situation, and created a list of multiple solutions to choose from. Each solution was explained and I was given the pros and cons of each. Both Felix and Danny answered all my questions in a clear and concise manner. I was very impressed with their ability to accurately diagnose the problems I had been having with both my toilets and my shower. A simple slow draining toilet escalated to a short section of main drain replacement, which escalated even more to most of the main drain out of the house being replaced. John and his techs were there when they said they would be, did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.

Zack and Anthony completed the work with minimal inconvenience to us, cleaned up after themselves, and left my property in fine shape.

My husband was attempting to fix a toilet and a part broke, only to find out the emergency shut off valve for the toilet didn’t work which caused a leak. We have used gulf view plumbing multiple times, they did extensive plumbing / pipe replacement at our old house and unclogged drains at our new house. We’ve worked with at least 5 of their different technicians during with these services and all of them were very nice and professional. Definitely our go to.

Fred did a fantastic job! He fixed the problem quickly. We are also in the market for a new hot water heater and install. He did such a great job, we’ll hire Gulfview for that job too!

Did not have a good experience. Spent $275.00 getting a pipe leak repaired and the leak was at the top of the tank. Came home to still have no hot water and the plumber called and told me it was working when he left to check the breaker. I checked the breaker and flipped it but because there was water/ moisture in the wiring from the leak it shorted out and caught on fire. The plumber was still on the phone and told me to throw water on it? An electrical fire ...I chose baking soda instead. The plumber told me he didn’t check the wiring. The next day I called several other plumbing companies and they all told me they would not have done anything without checking for moisture in the wiring knowing that the leak was from the top of the tank. I settled on McGill plumbing who did a fantastic job for less. Gulfview offered $150. Of my original cost to go towards new tank and it was still more expensive. This could have caused my house to burn down and they did not seem to care at all. Not only did I not get any money back, I didn’t even hear one note of concern when I called. Would definitely NOT recommend!

This is the most reputable business I've seen. They truly care about their clients.

I called Gulfview Plumbing when we heard what sounded like a water leak from under our house. We were able to turn off the main line. Chrissy sent Anthony out within the hour to check to see where the problem was coming from. Anthony gave us some options to fix the problem. We ended up getting the entire house repiped. Anthony and James were here that Fri at 8:30am to do the job and were finished by 4:30, they worked the entire time not even to take a break for lunch! James came back out on Mon to finish the job for inspection. Anthony and James were both very nice and explained everything they had to do on both days and were here when they said they would be. Only snag we ran into was the inspection, which wasn't because
of Gulfview Plumbing, but because of the City. Chrissy kept in constant contact with me through the entire process. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Two weeks. For two long, difficult, cold shower taking weeks we tried to find a plumber to replace a water heater. This wasn't any old run of the mill replacement either. This was a behemoth perched 7 feet off the floor in a crawl space barely big enough for a grown man to fit in. Multiple plumbers gave decent quotes which soon skyrocketed after seeing pictures of the debacle awaiting them. Hired handymen practically ran away after setting sights on it. Then we found Gulfview through Facebook, my wife got in touch with Christina on a Friday afternoon.. She provided us with a very generous quote several HUNDRED dollars less than any others. I said wait until they see it. They had a tech on the way that very afternoon. Unfortunately the scheduled tech was in a fender bender but Christy assured me someone else was coming. Within an hour Jason was at our house. I envisioned him taking one look, tripling the quote and running away. Let me tell you Jason went STRAIGHT to work on it, wasnt even phased. This was around 5 or 6 in the evening. He was supposed to be done for the night but didn't hesitate to get the water heater replaced. John the owner even showed up to help his employee finish in a timely manner. Did I mention the starting quote never changed? My family is grateful for the hardwork and professionalism put forth by Jason, John and Chrissy. If you need a plumber call Gulf view FIRST!

would definitely recommend this company. They responded to my call which was on a Saturday within an hour. Made appointment for Monday. Their technician, Brandon, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. He knew what he was doing. Was only here for a short time and fixed the issue. I will definitely use them again if I need to.

My water heater went out at 4:45 in the afternoon. I called Gulfview plumbing and was put on the next mornings schedule. I received a text telling me the tech was on his way, a photo of the tech, and a brief history and his background. I was also given a link that showed a map and where the tech was coming from. I could track his arrival in real time. It was nice knowing who the tech was, and his background before he got to my house. My techs name was Felix. He was very nice and personable and respectful of our property. Felix kept me apprised on what he was doing, and gave us a detailed estimate before he did any work. After he was done, he explained what he did and showed us his work. We are 100% satisfied with the work Felix did and would have him work on our house anytime we needed a plumber. I can not say enough great things about Gulfview plumbing and Felix. They are a top notch company, that cares for their clients, and they employ top notch people A++++ company, if you need a plumber, these are the people to call!

Came out on a Sunday to give his opinion on a toilet situation we had never encountered. Gave us all options and scenarios prior to diving into a situation that could have taken hours. Very thankful for his opinion/knowledge.

The guys installed a water purification system and moved my water softener from the garage to the outside. They were extremely professional and knowledge and answered any and all questions. I won't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

Having been ripped off by plumbers in the past, I had asked for a Facebook recommendation for an honest plumber. Gulfview Plumbing was the only recommendation I got. This family run business is just fantastic. I had a problem with the toilet in the guest bathroom that would not stop running and they came out and fixed it but them it had a problem again a few weeks later. John, the owner, came out and installed a whole new system which was much better than the first one installed, as it was his preference and was done right. He then fixed a leak in my washing machine hose and refused to charge me anything for the entire visit as he just wanted to ensure I was 100% happy and that things were fixed corretly. His wife, Christina, is always wonderful on the phone too. It can be tough to find good tradespeople for home repair problems. I cannot recommend Fulfview highly enough. They are trustworthy and 100% ethical and a great company to work with!

I called to inquire about costs to see if my lower thermostat was working or not. They have the usual inspection fee charged by most plumbers whether work is performed or not. I was told it was about $50-$60 and that any additional work would be quoted after inspection and if work performed the $55 inspection fee was waived. I asked for a call from the tech before or as he got to my home as I would not be there. Got the call after a “diagnostic” was performed, cost is now $149. What happened to the $55 inspection fee? That’s just for driving out. No work was performed. Plumber told me my thermostats were set lower than factory setting and that I replaced my shower heads with higher flow heads which is all information I already had because I made these changes myself. I split the diff and paid $74 because he did answer a question about whether I could install a three-way type valve that would allow me to mix hot and cold as well as adjust the mixed flow volume (he said I could not).

Update: I received a call from Gulfview about my review. The person insisted on returning my full payment via check in the mail. I told them it wasn’t necessary but they pressed the offer as a measure of good faith. No check received yet.

Update: In their reply below this person claims my wife approved the diagnostic which their tech admitted never happened. Two separate individuals from this company admitted their error in not calling me and not revealing the additional cost. I paid $74 and was done with it. Simply placed my review and that was the end of it. This company then called back and offered to return my money when I didn’t ask for that in exchange for a five star review. I don’t appreciate the dishonesty being expressed here. So I will leave the review at three stars so others are at least aware of what happened. Nothing wrong with the technical expertise (I’ve since called them for another diagnostic and paid $254 for that call) i just have issue with the disclosure of price and subsequent review practices.

After finding a leak in our bathroom I called and within two hours James had arrived. He was able to quickly identify the issue and inspect other problem areas in the house and give his professional opinion. The work was great and it was a great value - definitely felt like I was being educated vs someone trying to upsell me. Only thing I would’ve changed would be requiring the employees to wear a mask, I understand it would be difficult to perform the task and would’ve been ok for it to be removed when he was in the separate room working. Would definitely use again and recommend!

2021: Replaced a toilet and it's water connection same-day. Great work and price.

2018: Our water heater died and I talked to several plumbing companies for quotes/information. I initially asked for new hybrid water heater, but Gulfview requested I send pictures of the current dead heater and area. They saw my restricted corner space in the garage and explained a hybrid requires 2' open space around it and wouldn't work well, even though it would physically fit. The other plumbers didn't dig for this crucial info. Gulfview quoted me a great price for a conventional replacement water heater that was at least $1000 lower than I expected for a hybrid installation. Their tech performed the job quickly in my garage, cleaned up afterwards and explained everything about the installation. No upsell, no BS...just quality work. We're keeping their card on our fridge for future use and will recommend them to friends.

Zach and James came promptly at 3 after I had been told that they would be there sometime between 3 and 5! So I was pleased that they got there so early and also that they got there on the same day that I placed my call to the company. Zach and James got to work right away unclogging my sewer line all the way down to where it meets the Mainline where they found a big clog and dislodged it. When they were finished I paid them in cash and they drove away. A few minutes later they called me on the phone to tell me that I had overpaid them by $10. What honesty! I was so impressed with their honesty and their offer to return the money that I told them to just keep it! This is the second time I've used to Gulf View Plumbing and they are just the best!

I had a main water line leaking in concrete against the house with little room to work with. Zach was able to chop the concrete and repair the leak with minimal intrusion to existing pipes

I originally thought that my clog was in the kitchen
sink drain. Turns out that I had a BAD drain clog in the main drain pipe. Plumber actually needed to get on the roof and use a mechanical snake through the drain stack to break through and free up the clog. The plumber told me what he was going to do and explained why he needed to do it. There were no surprises whatsoever. Gulfview Plumbing beat all my expectations in terms of service and quality of workmanship. My search for a high -quality customer service-oriented plumbing service is at an end! Gulfview has since taken over and we are very happy with their work. On their last trip, the owner came out with some of his crew. He is professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I had a very stressful situation. My water main pipe to my residence was broke. It was a major break in the line. I had no water to my home. I called numerous plumbing companies. I called the company I have dealt with for over 20 years. They dropped the ball to a dedicated customer. I was very stressed and started to panic. I got a referral from a close friend to call Gulfview Plumbing. From the first call they did everything to give me comfort and assure me they would resolve the issue. The employees they have are all very professional and courteous from the person on the phone to the hard working employees. They responded the first day to give me an estimate. They knew my situation was a major crisis and made it a priority to respond to my residence to repair the main pipe line. I will let you know this was no easy task. With all my landscaping and driveway it was a difficult task. These plumbers showed up and did a fantastic job. They worked very hard for almost 7 hours in the heat. I have never seen such devotion and dedication to see such hard work to accomplish a job. From start to finish it was nonstop. I bought them lunch and gave them waters all day. They deserved more than that. I did what I could to make their job more more comfortable. In the end! I hope alot of people read this review. Good quality companies are hard to find these days. Everything about my experience with Gulfview Plumbing was top notch. My call was returned within minutes and Chrissy was beyond nice when she called me back. I explained that I had lost a family heirloom down the drain at my gym 6 days prior and asked if they thought they could help me. Chrissy stated she would call one of her plumbers and get back to me. She got back to me within an hour or two. She stated that they would absolutely do their best to retrieve the jewelry. She then called the gym to set up a time and the very next day they were there and were able to retrieve the jewelry from the drain 7 days after it was lost! I’m am absolutely amazed. Another plumbing group was consulted but wouldn’t attempt since they said it wouldn’t be there. The whole time Chrissy was calling or texting to coordinate with me and keep me in the loop. I would highly highly recommend Gulfview Plumbing and have nothing negative to say about them.

Oh my God…. I can’t say enough good things. I had a leak in our attic that was coming through the ceiling for 2 days straight (trickle). I had cut a hole in the ceiling to mitigate damage and I couldn’t find anyone to come out and help us sooner than 3 days from today.

Then I found these guys. Not only did a real human answer the phone at 9:15pm, but she was super nice and compassionate. Had a tech to my house by 9:48pm, fixed and gone by 10:35pm. Gave excellent advice and was so knowledgeable. Brandon is fantastic and this is 100% my go to plumber and who I will recommend to everyone. If I could give more than five stars I would.

This morning I saw water bubbling up from the ground about 10 feet from my water meter. The two plumbing companies that my husband and I have used before could not come out same day and Gulfview was the 3rd company I called. I saw they had a 5 star rating and decided to give them a chance. They put us in their schedule for arrival within 3 - 5 hours. Their technician - Fred - came on time, was very professional, friendly and polite. He fixed the leak, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was good before he left.
