We have used Bert Norman's plumbing several times and each experience is professional, thorough and quality work. Recently Jason installed our new shower and sink fixtures and we are very pleased with the install. Highly recommend this plumber.

First the technician Jason showed up on time, he was very clean and professional looking.Jason diagnosed the issue and was able to repair it in a good quality type of work, he was friendly and knowledgeable about what he was doing , I will definitely use again if i need to.

We called with an emergency request and their technician, Billy, showed up the same day within a few hours. I told him through the door to wait until I put our over zealous 55 lb aussie pup in his kennel. He said you don't have to do that unless you want to; he'll be fine. He was so right, he tolerated/and knew how to calm his excitement. Then he proceeded to assess, repair and quickly complete the job. As long as they stay affordable, we'll call them. Bert’s plumbing is fabulous!! I called three plumbers to fix a leak in our main water line coming into the house - Bert’s was the only one who came the same day. They fixed the whole problem in an hour and improved our system in general. Another plumber said it would take four hours and they’d have to move our hot water heater - Bert’s didn’t need to. Thank goodness for Mitch and Rob and everybody at Bert’s!

The tech was on time and after discussing all my plumbing problems he got straight to work and in no time flat had every issue resolved and fixed. After fixing all the problems he went over the membership. I will be sure to sign up, since I know this is who I'll be calling going forward. Office staff was also friendly and helpful moving my appt up since they had a open spot. Great Team.

We have used Bert Norman's Plumbing for years now and they have done some major jobs for us. The technician was a perfectionist who I could tell always wanted his work to be done well, and was proud of it. The work was done timely and the cost was reasonable. These folks are our go-to whenever we need plumbing services.

This plumbing company does a great job from the first call and until the job is done. Jason does a great job. He takes pride in his work, is very knowledgeable and professional.

Shannon in the office has always been very helpful. Jason installed two sump pumps in our back yard and he was a pleasure to work with. Sump pumps are working great. No issues.

I reached out to them to Install an instant hot water heater....they quickly assessed what we needed and just made it happen! Will be using them again once I'm ready for Water softener and anything else that comes up! Great working with them on phone and the guys they sent out.

Dillon was very professional and competent with the sewer repair and the new dishwasher installation. After discovering the problem with the sewer line, the repair was originally scheduled for 17 days out but the Shannon at the office promised to put us first if a cancellation came up. She was able to mover us up on the schedule 12 days as it turned out. We were also promised no-call out charge if the sewer replugged during our wait (it was not required with the expedited schedule). Could not be happier with Dillon, Shannon and Bert norman Plumbing

I called the companies main office and spoke with a lovely lady who scheduled a call for a review of the work that I was looking to have completed. My visit was scheduled with a technician a few weeks out due to how busy they were, which was absolutely fine, but they asked if there was a cancellation would I be open to a sooner visit and I said sure. Within ten days (including the weekend) I received a call that they could move up my visit date. Great!!When the technician came, he was just wonderful in reviewing what I wanted and then giving me some possibilities about adding a bathroom to my barn. No pressure, just fantastic information from a qualified technician. I then received a follow up call from the office, giving me an aprox time to expect to hear from them regarding my estimate. This meeting and subsequent follow up was a definite 5 star experience. Should I use this plumbing group I will definitely write a new review with my experience on the job.

We've had to call plumbers a couple of times in the last few months which is never a pleasant task since it normally means spending a lot of money. However, Bert Normans always tries to send somebody during working hours even if the receptionist lets you know that the day of it may not be possible. The after hours fee is fair. When our septic pump broke the plumber came out after hours and he really worked to try to find a replacement so that he didn't just have to put in a temporary pump. We were so grateful that he was able to fix it that same night. The next time we had to call was because our water pump to the house had stopped working. That day, the plumber actually made it during working hours and was able to let us know honestly that it was either the switch or the pump itself. He replaced the switch, and it worked. It's a good company. We've had multiple plumbers from this organization, and they've all been very professional, transparent, and helpful.

One Wednesday I realized I didn't have hot water. In my garage I found my water heater smoking. Turned off the breaker and started calling plumbers. A couple couldn't show for a week and then I remembered I had used Bert Norman in the past so I tried calling them.1) They originally gave me an appointment for the next day, but then they called back and had a technician that had finished early and asked could they come today. About 2.5 hours after I found the issue they showed up.2) They looked at my heater and told me it needed replacement. I had already made that accessment as well. I wanted a larger heater than they had in stock so they had to order and told me it would be one to two days.3) The next day they called and stated it was in and they would like to come to install. Note: < one day from when issue was discovered.4) Day one technician was professional and worked efficiently getting to the issue. He also gave me options and prices for the replacement. The entire time I was confident I would have a new heater quickly.5) Day two the same technician returned with an apprentice to assist. He allowed the apprentice to perform the work while providing good oversight and feedback. They still worked efficiently with the on the job training being conducted. This is exactly how technical training should be conducted to ensure the next generation is able to take over in the future.I would like to mention I always felt getting me and my family hot water was a priority with this company as a whole. I had several friends coming for the weekend and was trying to figure out what to do if we did not have hot water.At approximately 4:30 on Thursday I had hot water.This company is now my first call for any plumbing needs.Thanks for all your hard work.

Jason, from Bert Normans replumbed our well pump into a brand new shed we had installed on our property. Additionally, Jason replaced and replumbed the water softener into the new shed as well. Jason was professional, friendly and informative. My husband and I were both impressed by how tidy his work was; you could tell he put pride into the job. The overall cost seemed reasonable considering we got a brand new water softener system and the job took the better part of a day to complete. I definitely recommend Jason from Bert Normans. The staff you talk to when you call is very friendly too.

I had no water running in my house and called Bert’s and they scheduled someone to come out within the next two hours after I called. My husband and I spent all day on this pump and finally found the issue right after Bert’s called and said tech was on the way. I was extremely fortunate to have them not charge me service fee to come out and they’ve definitely earned my business with their customer service and efficiency. Thanks guys

My experience with this business was amazing!!They sent me a very nice, experienced plumber who exceeded my expectations by far!He explained everything to me an told me exactly what options I had an what costs to expect.I needed one item done very urgently, and was hoping to schedule for the other issues in the house later on.In the end, I got not only my washer hooked up with a brand new pipe, but also a new toilet installed, a new water heater installed, a new outdoor faucet and a cutoff switch installed which they threw in for free on the same day!!!Never ever had such a good experience with a plumbing service.

Our tub drain had completely disintegrated. They were upfront about the cost which was reasonable. They did a great job replacing it and we are very satisfied with the work. So much so, that we decided to go ahead and get estimates for a kitchen sink and faucet upgrade.

The receptionist was very helpful. Although initially scheduled further out, they were able to get here early. Tech was awesome. Worked hard to resolve the problem and even took his time to explain what he was doing. He made sure the problem was resolved before leaving.Update: had to use them a second time. One of my exterior spigots decided to fail on a Saturday morning. I called the office at 7:30 and their technician arrived around 12:30. I appreciate that he tried the “simple fixes” first before moving onto replacing the spigot completely. He was very upfront with the cost associated with the repair.

We had the misfortune of having two plumbing issues back to back. We also had the good fortune of contacting Bert Normans plumbing. Office staff was very helpful with excellent communications. On both occasions for service the plumbing technicians were timely, cordial and professional. After their evalution of the problems, they explained what was needed and what it would cost. All in all, we are very pleased.

The technicians are first rate - professional, courteous, thorough and I do not have to wait for 'parts to be ordered.' We spent a difficult weekend with no running water as a result of a cracked hot water pipe in the wall of our shower. We had first called two more local plumbing firms and never received a call-back from their after-hours voice mail systems. Desperate and dirty, we called Bert Normans Plumbing, after high praise for them from the cashier at the local grocery store where we had rushed to purchase gallons and gallons of bottled water! Shannon and KC were the best; responsive, sympathetic, superbly organized and moved quickly to help us. Austin arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem and gave us a reasonable and fair repair quote on the spot. The repair was not an easy one, the pipe break was in a very confined wall space and well-away from the shower valve access hole. Professional that he is, Austin was able to make the challenging in-wall repair with minimal impact to our tiled shower wall! He was courteous, kind, prepared and efficient - and - treated our house with great care - wearing sanitary booties and a mask at all times. We had our water back inside of two hours! Wow! He also cleaned up well after the job, a super ambassador for this business! What a pleasure it is - and how reassuring -- to find that a business like this can still thrive in these often frustrating times! Though this was our first collaboration with Bert Norman's Plumbing, the best take-away in the wake of our waterless weekend crisis is that we now have a new, terrific plumbing firm on which we believe we can totally depend!! I sent an internet request on a Sunday and was called that day (yesterday). Was told they had an opening the next day (today). I had a dripping shower. They were able to get here early today and fixed it in 15 minutes. Prompt, professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

A outdoor shower was installed, work done quickly and very neatly. The plumber, Jason, gave a complete description of work in advance including price.Jason also inspected several issues throughout the home and provided thorough solutions with recommendations. We were impressed by his knowledge. confidence and skill in several different areas. We were very satisfied with both the service and price.

This is my second time calling on Bert Norman’s plumbing. In both cases I got good products and excellent service. Theresa at the front desk is well beyond helpful. Her contact from start to finish was helpful, professional and especially careful to assure that service providers are polite and practicing good infection control practices. Masks, shoe covers, etc. this is especially important right now as we face this continuing pandemic. Dylan installed a water softened I bought from the company about a year ago and it has functioned flawlessly and without adjustment since then. This time, Zach came to replace a leaking faucet, with a unit purchased from Bert Norman’s inventory. It was a confined space job, but he got it done and cleaned up the work area well when he finished. There was a problem a few days later from a slow drip under the sink. When I called about it Theresa scheduled a return early the next day and the problem was fixed. Highly recommended on the basis of products, service and customer satisfaction. Not the cheapest possible way to go, but you get what you pay for.

Called labor day water heater was not working. Guy came out same day and replaced water heater. He did great job - was only without hot water for 1/2 day.

Well pump quit working during the night. 24 hour service called had four others ahead of us so she said it would be the next day early afternoon. They called to advise when the plumber was coming to the house. He was very professional, explained what he was going to have to do. Found the problem and had us up and running. I will definitely tell my friends about the great experience we had with this company and I used the Yulee office.

To start, this is in no way a negative review on their abilities. I never got that far. After having one of the more bizarre contractor calls that I have had, I did need to note that this business needs to tighten up its upfront customer service skills. I am relatively new to Fernandina Beach and am doing a number of improvements to my property. I was looking for a plumber and read some very good reviews about the company so I called. I told the receptionist that I was looking to replace a kitchen sink to start - fairly easy beginning to a relationship. It took awhile as the receptionist consistently fumbled the spelling of my name, couldn't get my phone number correctly multiple times and then took my email address and property address. She then asked what type of sink I had (undercounter) and told me -after placing me on hold - that they would have to come out to my house to look at the sink since they don't replace all undercounter sinks. I said that it was a standard Kohler that was in place now, and asked what types that they didn't work on. She put me on another hold and then told me that they don't drill into counters. I said that since we are replacing an existing sink, there should not be any new drilling of anything. She put me on hold again and came back to tell me that that she could have someone out on January 4th (today is December 9th). I told her that this was silly, and that since I needed to wait a month to have someone come out to tell me whether they could actually replace my sink, that I was going to continue calling other plumbers. She then warned me to make sure that I checked the Google reviews of other plumbers before I did business with them!!! So instead of taking all of my information and wasting my time, she could clearly have told me on the front end of the call that they were incredibly busy and there is a long lead time to get an appointment. Very frustrating experience.

After getting a new counter top with an undermounted sink, none of the plumbing aligned and was in very close tolerance of the pipe exiting the wall. I called my GC Schofield Home Improvement and he recommended I call Bert Norman Plumbing. I called on a Friday night and they were at my house by 11:00 AM the next morning. Theresa was very courteous and professional when gathering my info and explaining the additional charge for a weekend call. We had no problem paying the additional fee. That was money well spent. Jason the technician arrived as scheduled. He quickly made an assessment and had to go back out to obtain some specialty fittings. He got everything fixed up and also answered some other questions I had about the the plumbing in the house and the operation of the water softener. Great company, everyone was a pleasure to deal with and the quality is top notch . I highly recommend Bert Norman's plumbing.

On a Friday afternoon, I could not get anyone to come out to repair our well pump that was spewing water inside its cover. When I tried Bert Normans Plumbing they had no one available at the time but they told me that many times one of the men fix things before the time allowed and they would call me if this happened. About 20 minutes later, they called and said that, in fact, one of the men returned and they were sending him out immediately. He arrived, went to the source, told me that what he saw he believed he could fix right away. about 1 hour later he came to the house and said everything was done and showed me what he had done. We now had the pump fixed and would have water immediately instead of next Wednesday. He was very professional. His visit was followed about a week later with a phone call thanking us for using his company! First time that has happened to me! I will recommend Bert Norman Plumbing to everyone. Thanks again.

I had been without hot water in most of my house since shortly after moving in to my house and Florida. I waited one week for a call back from one plumber, and another week from another. I was given Norman Plumbing from my next door neighbor AND landscaping company owner. I checked them out online, they called me almost immediately and were here in no more than 2 hours. (Friday). I was contacted Monday to follow up and assured I would receive a service recommendation later today (Monday). So far, better than good.

This company is professional and responsive starting with their friendly office staff from initial inquiry to follow up call after service was preformed. Jason, our plumber, could not have been better...polite and hard working to the end of the long project. We would definitely recommend Norman's Plumbing.

We've used them a couple of times, most recently earlier this week when a pipe in our well house sprung a leak. Of course, as luck would have it, it was right after business hours, but as usual someone got back to us very quickly after we called. The nice person on the phone explained the after hours cost clearly, and when the tech came he was so nice and got the job done quickly (in the dark and cold). Definitely our go to company!

We had a garbage disposal that was leaking contacted Bert Norman‘s plumbing the very next day they sent two very professional and qualified technicians to the house. Brian and Chris was very knowledgeable about what I wanted done explained what they was going to do, gave me a price upfront which was very reasonable I plan on using them to change out the kitchen sink deck set as soon as they can make another appointment. Courteous team! Reasonable price.We had a drainage issue and the plumber found out the main sewage line under the road was clogged up with garbage and needed to be pumped out by the city. I was like, great, I have to call the city and get blown off, ugh. But, the Bert Norman office actually called the city for me. The plumber stayed to make sure he could talk directly to the city crew when they showed up since I don't speak plumbing nor do I know the codes. The City pumped the garbage out of the sewage line. Thank you Bert Norman! You really took the anxiety out of an experience I was initially dreading!

Bert Norman's Plumbing Inc did a wonderful job repairing our kitchen sink. Dylan, came out within an hour of us calling & was very knowledgeable & friendly. We purchased a new faucet & he went out of his way to show us a tool that was included in our box to insure we would be able to properly clean the faucet in the future and he showed us how to use it. He cleaned up after he installed our faucet and cleaned up his work area both times he came out.Really great experience, we will be using their services from now on.

I highly recommend this business!I had a 52 gal water heater that had to be replaced on Saturday evening. I called the office number which was answered immediately and explained the problem. Was told she would contact the technician and call me back. Ten minutes later the call was returned and I was given an estimate of 1 hour for the technician to arrive. He came on time then explained the cost and completed the installation. The technician was superb. I first used this company when my backflow prevented decided to go rogue before dawn, spraying gallons of water over the lawn and street before I opened my eyes. This company was the only one who responded to my emergency! When I needed some maintenance on faucets and toilet fill valves, they were the company I called. Shannon, the office manager, called to let me know that Jason, the technician, was on his way on the day of my appointment. Jason reviewed the work to be done, gave me the pricing, and went to work. He is efficient and knowledgeable. Workspace was neat and clean. I needed a part that was not on his truck and he called it in before he left. By the end of the day, I had heard from Laura and the appointment was set to finish up with the part now delivered to their office.It is an absolute pleasure to deal with all of the people at this company. I am delighted to share the amazing experience I had today with locally owned Bert Normans Plumbing. I had an urgent situation that needed to be addressed quickly and as economically as possible. I already knew what needed to be done and had an idea of what a fair price would be. Shannon understood my sense of urgency, made an appointment for the next day but said, if at all possible, she would see if we could be squeezed in. A few hours later Jason was at the door! I was at work so he evaluated the situation, called me with a quote AND texted pictures to give me a visual on what he was describing. Jason was quick, efficient, did a fantastic job and left the area cleaner then when he arrived. This is why we SHOP LOCAL!

Purchased a new gas hot water heater from a different plumbing company in Fernandina a year ago. Called them and was told they can not do service calls on a gas H2O heater. Stumbled across Bert Norman's and they got the repairs done. Very Pleased with Bert's.

Joel with Bert Norman's arrived in a timely manner and was very professional and polite at the outset. He was also straightforward in his assessment of the repair needed and gave me a worst case scenario quote so I knew what I'd be paying if everything that could be wrong was, in fact, wrong. Unfortunately, my broken pipe and the repair needed did fall under the worst case scenario and I trusted Joel when he told me that. In other words, I did not feel at all that he conveniently concluded it was the worst case scenario for his and his business' benefit. In any event, he repaired the pipe quickly and completely and also repaired a small hole in the bath tub basin.I would absolutely use Bert Norman's again and would recommend them to any one else in need of plumbing services or repair.

This was my first time using this company. I will continue to use them. I did not have any water and when I called them, a technician was out here within 30 minutes. They are very professional. It's great to call a business and someone actually answers the phone.

We have been using Bert Normans Plumbing since buying an older home in Fernandina Beach in 2013. We have found everyone at the company to be courteous, efficient, and professional through the original upgrade of plumbing in our 1959 house and any other plumbing issues that have occurred since. Just last week there was a problem with the well for our irrigation system and we were very pleased to once more rely on the great service of Bert Normans Plumbing.

The technician arrived on time, was polite and knowledgeable about where to find a replacement faucet. The job was completed quickly with no mess left behind. He even check another faucet in my home and tightened it, added some sealant, and said it was good for a little longer. I will definitely call this company again for any plumbing needs.

Mike explained what he would be doing to resolve our issue after we told him what had happened earlier in the day with our toilets. He is a true craftsman of his trade. Great service from the the office staff to the field work performed at what for most of us would be the end of the work day.

A poor/expensive plumber experience with no repair just a suggestion a need to return after I purchase replacements, meant simple leaking faucets repairs resulted in skepticism and uneasiness for this senior with an ambulatory disability.Friends suggested Bert Norman’s Plumbing; therefore, an appointment was booked. Receptionists told me up front a service fee of $49 was mandatory on any call. The technician arrived promptly entering with shoe coverings to assess the “leaking” sinks (kitchen & bath) dilemma. I had been told both needed new fixtures (another call, another $115 service fee from previous Plumber). Burt Norman’s technician evaluation was one sink only needed filter cleaning and the other needed handle repairs and cleaning out! Informed him I could not clear under sink area, and he said “no problem”. He cleared and even cleaned area and afterwards replaced all! Always polite and courteous with competent manners even explaining when he had to leave briefly to secure parts on another’s truck there was no extra expense.Jason from Burt Norman’s Plumbing provided such a positive repair encounter. It has been a long time since I have experienced such informative, respectable, and ethical professionalism. They did a great job fixing the plumbing on my trailer. It's so backed up and terrible just deplorable living conditions. But by the time I walked back here after (finally) receiving the phone call that Jason would be there to fix it he was already outside here doing work! He waited and didn't leave. Thank goodness, because St.John's property had been avoiding my place and fixing it because they knew the well water sewer system was so backed up here. I am very late submitting this review as I was serviced back in September but it was a great experience given the situation. I had water leaking all in my closet and placed a call to Bert Norman. Mitch, my technician came out, he was wonderful and was thorough but as he looked and felt the temperature of the water he was able to figure out it wasn’t actually a plumbing issue but rather my air conditioning. I am so grateful because I wouldn’t expect a business to actually look into my issue and find out it wasn’t something they could help with rather than just say yeah need a new water heater and charge who knows how much. He took the time to figure it out. Hopefully I won’t have any plumbing issues but in the future if I do, I will gladly call them.

I Highly recommend Bert Norman’s Pluming. They had lots of available appointments to fit my schedule. He showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Completed the job in a timely matter and cleaned up after himself. He did a great solid job on the pipe leak fix.

Jason came out and diagnosed our slab leak within 10 minutes of being at our house. I thought it would be super costly but he pinpointed the exact spot where the leak was coming from. (Disclaimer: I know that not all leaks are this easy sometimes) The work was scheduled for the next week and he arrived on time and made sure that he put on the foot covers every time he came in the house. I am very satisfied with the end result and would call again if needed in the future!

I wanted a reliable plumber and I was not familiar with any in the area. I checked out the Facebook group of our community in Fernandina Beach and saw where Bert Normans was mentioned several times. I called in the morning and we had two service techs, Jason and Zach, at our home before noon. We had a leak someplace that was causing a bedroom to flood. Wearing masks and covers on their shoes they inspected potential problem areas and discovered the air conditioner drain was clogged. They suctioned out the drain and we are confident they solved out problem. Would we use them again? Absolutely!

Have used Bert’s Plumbing 3 times—fixed a pipe, repaired a garbage disposal, and replaced a water softner. They know what they are doing (professional), are responsive and dependable. I did not use Bert’s for one disposal repair and was scammed. Bert’s crew assess the situation, make the repairs, and explain maintenance. They will also perform a couple repairs at the same visit.

Called about a constant clog in a bathroom on a slab. I thought we needed a to scope it because it is constantly clogging. Gentleman showed up on time (office called to see if they could arrive earlier, which was great. Gentleman showed up 15 minutes after the phone call). He put on booties before entering the house. Inspected the situation - determined the clog was in the toilet and not the pipes. Told us not to do the scope (saving $$$). Left the area clean and gave us an estimate for them to take out the builder grade toilet and upgrade to a better one. No pressure sales, I appreciated that he just left estimate on the bill. All in all great service.

Definitely the right choice for plumbing needs. I am well pleased with the quality work provide by Philip Branch in replacing my hot water heater yesterday. The fact that these guys were willing to coordinate the removal of the old heater to allow the heating and air guys to change out my heating system and then come back later in the afternoon to install the new hot water heater made the whole project run more smoothly. I called Saturday and received same day service (they don't use a call center so you'll get to speak directly with someone in office). Jason was great, detailed, and answered all of my questions. We have been a member of their Lifetime Diamond Club since April 2013 when they remodeled 2 bathrooms for us. Since then we've had a water heater, water softener and disposals. Their service is always prompt and friendly. With the Diamond Club I'm guaranteed 2 hr service which is important plus a yearly check-up of all plumbing. During my last inspection I mentioned drain issues and Dylan suggested a product they sell which cleared the drain of it's stinky odor saving me the cost of a complete snaking. Every technician we've had has been very well trained.

We have rental property on amelia island plantation. My guest notified me on a Sunday afternoon that all plumbing appeared to be blocked. I was out of town but remembered Bert Norman’s from a previous job. I phoned them and they sent someone out within 2 hours. They phoned me with updates on when he would arrive. The technician spent a long time trying to locate an access point in order to save me money. Dyland came out today and did a thorough job of problem identification and resolution. After putting in new toilets, I suddenly had studor vent issues. Dyland replaced 3 SVs and was professional to indicate my others where working well.

I had a water line that partially broke 9/27/2020. We got by until the 28th. I got on a site called Nextdoor Neighbor, many people recommended Bert Norman, so I called them and requested a plumber to come out and fix a broken water line, the lady taking the call asked me if it was an emergency, I told her no, she scheduled a plumber to come out and do the repair on the 29th at 4:00. After two days of limited water use and company coming in from out of town I was con concerned about my problem. At 4:00 a truck with 1 man rolled in, a young man got out with a pen and clip board, I thought ,well here is where I get burnt. He asked me a few questions, wrote down some notes and ask me where the point of access was. I showed him. He got his flashlight and crawled in under my wet and nasty home, I thought, well not getting this fixed today. He proceeded to his service truck, procured the tools he needed, got the supplies out of the truck crawled back under the house and made the necessary repair in 30 minutes, we tested the system, went overt the service ,I paid him and he went on his way. I thought this was pretty rare, most companies would have sent 2 people, not one and usually they are slow on most jobs. I thought how impressive it was for someone to operate a company that is that efficient and professional and charged me a very reasonable rate. Excellent, competent service!We were on vacation in Nassau county with a house full of guests when the outside faucet broke away from the house. We were immediately without water. What a great company. I had a well pump replaced just over a year ago. Had a minor issue which they quickly fixed. The same problem happened today. They said since it was the same problem they would most likely take care of it. It was the same problem and they did take care of it. Mechanical parts and people make errors now and then. Bert Norman didn't even try to decide if it was the part or the person. They just took accountability and made it right. They are a stand up company.

They are highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable we would use no others for our plumbing needs. Had a ceiling leak called in came the next day, looks like water tube could be leaking set appointment to fix. Excellent service.

Called on a Wednesday and they had an opening between 9 and 11 that Friday. At 9:05 my doorbell rang and Chris was very polite when I answered the door. He quickly determined that our issue was not a plumbing issue but an hvac issue but still checked behind our washer which is where we thought the original issue was just to be sure. Afterwards he measured from where our hvac unit was to where the leak was and also advised us to have someone take care of the black mold that has been caused by this issue. I hope to never have a plumbing issue but I know if I do I will be calling these guys due to the fact that they were on time, efficient, polite and didn’t try to give me a run around.

We called them to the rescue after our remodeling project went rogue on us! We had a no-show plumber from another company, missing parts that needed to be ordered and new appliances to connect all that had been scheduled with other vendors that dropped the ball. We made a frantic call on a Saturday morning and they took the reins, got the right parts and put it all together for us. Kept us in the loop every step and were a delight to do business with. We could not be happier with Bert Normans Plumbing! From the time that we first contacted them they were friendly, professional and stayed on top of our needs! Shannon and Austin treated us as if we are family, looking out for both our needs and our finances!! They will be the only plumbing service that we will use.

Called around 2 on Sunday..Told receptionist problem said yes they could do but plumber on another call. Waited all day and got a call from plumber at 4 saying that he couldn’t help they would have to rent machine. I asked about website claiming they could do that type of work and was told well we have to rent the equipment so can’t do. Was left with no recommendations or anything and was told that the lady that answered the phone know nothing about what type of jobs they do. This was by far the craziest thing I have ever heard. How can u offer services but can’t deliver and people that have no idea what the company does. Left hanging is just unprofessionally. I wouldn’t bother calling if you need any plumber service.

First Mitch with Bert Normans Plumbing was here to install a new food disposal for a neighbor and did an excellent job. Here at Timbercreek our outside water spigots have all gone bad around the same time, leaving us frustrated and in need. Mitch repaired mine and was coming back Friday for another neighbor of mine, who needed two replaced, but he was called away on emergency Friday and Steve came in his stead. He did an excellent job as well. Now all outside spigots are working just fine. Thanks guys! BNP is my plumbing company and I highly recommend them.

Main water line broke off in our foundation. They had a technician out here sooner than they originally planned. Which was awesome since we didn’t have running water. He was great! Very professional, explained the process in detail, and was done in about an hr! Not to mention quoted us a way better price than what we were expecting! Thank you guys!

Called to get quote for hooking septic to house. Waited a week, and given 2 hour appointment. called day before saying regardless of price...install, its necessary. Morning of, they say prior appt cancelled and plumber was able to spend extra 1.5 hours. Since no septic, we cannot stay at house, so we planned to be on site, but he arrive early. Called us and asked what needed done and we explained saying we would be there in 10 minutes. He said he had no supplies on truck and left; stuck quote in door and did not tell us. We called and BN plumbing could not tell us why. We said we need 1st schedule to hookup. 3 Days pass. We call again asking and they gave us a $925 quote for installing a Y connector and a total of 10 feet of pipe with 2 cleanouts. The quote was not itemized, and they never scheduled us or called us. We called them back saying put us on 1st again, and no call. We had to do ourselves. materials was $145 at home depot 7 minutes away, and took 2 hours to install. Warning about lack of calls and clarity on estimates. Rape is their estimate, and absent father is their service!

Last evening - yes Christmas Eve - I had a pipe burst requiring water supply to house to be turned off. A prior plumber I had used twice couldn't even respond to two messages left with their answering service. I called all around - either no answer or sorry not tonight. I thought I would have to go to a hotel. That is until I called Bert NORMAN'S PLUMBING in Yulee. They kept in touch with me throughout the evening and had someone come out first thing this morning - yes Christmas Day! What a professional job they did, and their price - unbelievably fair and reasonable - particularly on Christmas morning. I am a manager for a small business and we had a pipe burst in the men's room. I called our usual plumber who in essence said they were slammed and couldn't help me. Meanwhile, water was spewing out of the wall and a flood ensued in our hall. I then called Bert Norman's Plumbing and the lady said they were also busy but as mine was an emergency she would dispatch the next available plumber. Within the hour he was here fixing it. The cost was reasonable for the work done and customer service was wonderful. I will call them the next time I have a plumbing problem.

I woke in the middle of night water in carpet my bedroom in back of shower a part had worn out and was shooting water into my room. I called was lucky get cancelation they were there very quickly. Very friendly and professional explained everything. Will use again in future would recommend to a friend.

Work that was performed was done well and quickly. Problem was this.....$380 to install a bathroom faucet and a kitchen sink faucet! 2 guys walked in with a check list to check off how much to charge. Work took 25 minutes. Then they tried to sell some stupid plumbing membership which gave us a 10% discount if we paid an annual fee! Highway robbery. I had used Norman's in the past and was charged fairly. Obviously they have been acquired by a big company who is bilking customers to pay for the acquisition! This is a small town and most vendors charge small town prices. They do not gouge their neighbors. Next time I will call another plumber.

I have used Bert Normans Plumbing for 6+ years for all my Plumbing needs and have always found them very responsible and professional especially Mitch. They may be a bit expensive but i figure you get what you pay for.

Needed to replace toilet. Norman's rep, Chris, came, measured and said I had a substandard installation requiring a 10-inch rough-in toilet rather than the standard 12-inch rough-in. A few days later Norman sent to me a proposal for $800. when I asked why so expensive, I was told it was a special order because of the substandard size. A neighbor, who is a retired plumber, expressed surprise saying Seda, which built our community, only used standard 12-inch rough-in toilets. He came by to measure himself and said it was a 12-inch installation, that the measurement is from the wall, but the Norman rep evidently measured from the molding at the edge of the baseboard. We have installed a $260 Kohler 12-inch rough-in advanced-technology toilet obtained from Lowe's with a labor cost of $75. When I asked Norman for a refund of the $49 service call because we did not receive competent service, I did not get an immediate response. After posting this negative review, the company called me and after I provided them photographic proof that a 12-inch rough-in toilet fit with room to spare, they agreed an error had been made and said they would refund the $49 service fee.

The unclogged a main line that had a soft plug that I couldn't snake. Very profession from the dispatcher to the office manager to the plumbers. Would recommend them.

If I could give less than one star I would. I began simply by calling and requesting a price. This very LOUD telephone representative begins over-talking me, telling me they will not give a price over the phone, a technician must come out (at $50) to have a look around and then it became $269 - $369 or more to install a toilet....A TOILET! I said no thank you, she calls back and begins to over talk me again, then she claims I am yelling at her....I don't know how I could yell, she never stopped talking.....I said this is NOT beginning well and hung up. Sorry, if I cannot get past the phone call phase, I cannot image the experience with the technician would be any less than overpriced. I suggest looking around for a more reasonable company.......

When I asked about price I was told they don't do that over the phone, I can respect that. I asked about coming out today and the lady told me it would be an extra charge to come out to assess, I mentioned I thought that was alot for just showing up to assess and she got rude and said it is 4:30 in the afternoon sir. I tried speaking and she kept overtalking me. I did raise my voice trying to get a word in but she wouldn't stop, so I just said I would call someone else and hung up.

I've had to use Bert Norman's plumbing services several times in the past year and have always been pleased with the quality of the work and speedy service.

I had my annual inspection performed this morning. It was quick and very thorough. As a member of their club, they will show up same day for any emergencies that come up.

Very satisfied with the excellent service I received today from Bert Norman’s Plumbing. I needed a hot water heater and they got to me around 9 am And installed a new water heater.

My landlord hired these people on August 20th to fix a connection between the main water line and our apartment complex. While the water doesn't taste like shrimp anymore, they apparently cut the cable while digging in the yard and left me (and possibly the other tenant) without cable or internet for over 9 days now. I'm not pleased by this at all!

What a pleasurable experience. Jason knew what he was doing and did it very professionally. Wore his booties and cleaned up the work area. Even offered to take out our trash. What a gentleman.
