I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to today. Trent did an excellent job finding where the leaks were coming from into my home. Trent at Above and Beyond helped us detect a leak that had caused mold damage in our living room. He did thorough testing/inspecting to find the water damage was from one of our sprinklers hitting the exterior wall (which had hairline cracks). He also came back a second time (free of charge) when the remediation crew was here to ensure we found the right source of water damage. He walked the perimeter of our home and sealed several areas to prevent possible future water damage. The company name says it all...he truly went above and beyond and I highly recommend him!

We found water in a corner of a room that was coming from inside the wall. Trent immediately found the source and went out of his way to temporarily repair the problem so we could turn the water back on. He then spend time to educate us about the various repair options.
Then he helped us clean up the water damage, setup fans, and dehumidifier.
While packing up his tools he noticed that we had issues with our garage door not closing and he came back and even helped us with our garage door!
Extremely knowledgeable, professional, amazingly helpful, and a joy to work with.

My plumber recommended Trent and Above & Beyond Leak Detection to me after taking a look at a massive amount of mud in my yard. Trent was able to come out the same day that I called and took a look. Withing a very short period of time he pinpointed the exact location of the leak. Turns out it was a pin hole leak in the concrete block between the garage and exterior of the house.

He was able to put a clamp on it until the plumber can come out for a proper fix. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him.

Due to my local city informing me that my water line from the meter to the house had a leak, I took action. After trying a number of remedies and asking the city for additional assistance, the ongoing diagnosis was that my water line was leaking somewhere after the water left the meter for my house. I called my plumbing company and they immediately referred me to Trent's Above & Beyond Leak Detection. Trent arrived on time and explained what tests he would conduct. After finding no leak, Trent didn't stop considering options. As I was about to pay for his services, Trent showed me a side-by-side picture of my water meter and my neighbors' meter. He pointed out the difference in the dials and surmised that my meter was being incorrectly read due to the different formatting. After phone calls and a couple additional meter readings from the city's utility dept., the head of the service dept. and I spoke on the phone one last time where she confirmed that my meter was the only one in the entire city (if I heard correctly) with a different meter numbering format. Consequently, the city is now refunding my overpayment for the previous months charges. I am very grateful for Trent's experience and service and recommend him wholeheartedly.

First-rate service at a fair price! Trent found and exposed a slab leak we had that was “hiding” behind another pipe. Our plumber couldn’t come out for another 3 days, but Trent was able to cap the leaking pipe so we’d have running water in most of the house over the weekend. Highly recommend!

Trent is the single most thorough business owner I’ve ever worked with. I had three other companies come out prior to reaching his company and they could not figure out where the leak was coming from (still had to pay them). Dealing with Trent was completely different; he would not give up until he found and fixed the problem. He had to dig under the house (while 90 degrees outside) because the crawlspace had been filled in over the years. He was relentless in finding and repairing multiple leaks. Not only will I recommend his company. I would start with him before calling anybody else.

Trent came out found the leak. Next the plumber came out and dug down in spot but could not find the leak so Trent came out and stayed for an hour helping. The leak was were he said it was . Trent Sherman from Above & Beyond Leak Detection really does go above and beyond for his clients. Trent came out today, did a very thorough assessment of a commercial property and then patiently walked me through every step I needed to take to start the mitigation and repair process. Trent was very thorough in detailing who to call and in what order and even called the first provider to check on availability - who is coming out tomorrow. Trent provided me referrals for contractors he trusts and made sure I knew the action items needed to be taken. I'm a female, non-profit executive director, so building operations fall on my shoulders. Trent could see how overwhelmed I was and took extra time to make sure I understood what needed to happen moving forward. What a solid guy and great work ethic. Trent was quick to respond, but works best with text messages. Text him and he'll write back quickly!

I couldn't disagree more with these other reviews. I manage a two story apartment complex in Titusville , Florida. I had a slab leak open in a ground floor apartment and I I hired Trent Sherman of Above and Beyond to come and detect it 's location. He arrived , was courteous , but his results were inconclusive.. i.e. he found at least 2 site possibilities of the gushing noise. He said that when I brought in my plumber , he would meet him there on site . I arranged for a plumber to come two days later [ all the while the water was shut off except for 1 hour each day . ] I want to say right now that there were 4 apartments that were tied to the shut off valve for this unit's slab leak. Trent knew that. Four families went without water for an ordeal that then lasted for over two weeks. Trent never answered phone calls after that visit. phone PLEADINGS to come . Just did not answer . I called him , other tenants called , the site manager called. I paid Trent in full, in good faith, with a credit card number at the time of his service visit. I am shocked, dismayed , and out of a lot of money ,.... for wasted water and plumbers' hours because Trent didn't keep his word. I even became alarmed because he had my credit card number, and yet we couldn't get through to him. What my plumber told me is it is best to call a licensed leak detector who also jack hammers the floor to reveal the leak. Trent does not do this , but other Leak Detecting companies do.

I couldn't be more disappointed. I even had told Trent that I'd pay him ,upon his return, to locate some other shut off valves , to other units, that have been buried by time. What can I say. this guy has several posted ads on Google. 5 stars???? Really? What the heck happened?

After my water bill went up tenfold, I called Above and Beyond leak Detection and Trent was able to find the pipe that was damaged. Large tree roots broke the pipe and after digging and cutting the roots he fixed the problem. He explained what was going on during the process and I am very happy with the outcome. He was professional, friendly and I highly recommend
his service to anyone who needs his help.

I originally called Trent to help with me a leak detection under my slab. But he didn't just stop there, true to the company's namesake he also advised me on a better method for bypassing the leak as opposed to breaking up my slab and honestly ended up saving me money in the long run. I couldn't have chosen a better company even if I tried. His pricing is great, his service was amazing and truly above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to share his knowledge with me so I could make informed decisions about the future of my house. After about 3 months I'm ecstatic to have hot showers again and will be using Above & Beyond Leak Detection in the future should I ever need their services again. Thanks again Trent!

Trent, the owner just left my home after detecting a broken pipe in my irrigation system. He was prompt, neat, personable and respectful. Found the leak within an hour. It was beneath the large roots of one of my 20 year old Camphor trees. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs a leak detected. Don't go anywhere else!!! He'll impress you. I can give a higher rate if there is, I am very happy about the service.

I have a leak with my irrigation system, it is underground so difficult to find out. Trent came in time, very professional helping me find out the leak, and he also dig into the ground to show me where exactly the leak is and what the reason of the leak. He also gave me a lot of suggestions on how to maintain those equipment, I think a lot of them are beyond the scope of work he should do, but he did. No need to say the communication is perfect as well.

Trent is very good at finding water leaks. Our plumbing water leak was completely enclosed between a ceiling and a floor and he was able to find it's location exactly even though water was going in multiple directions. It's obvious that he has much experience and skills in leak detection to prevent more damage to the house while looking for leaks. He is friendly and treated us like family.

I noticed a leak in the area where my washer, dryer and water heater are located. We looked around but could not find the source of the leak. On the recommendation of my plumber, I called Above and Beyond yesterday to find a leak in the pipe to my house. Trent responded to my message in no time, and said that he had time to come out that afternoon ! He found the leak relatively quickly and suggested that I call the utility company first to see if they would fix it since it was at the meter. Five stars was not enough, This company is aptly named to be sure. I called in an emergency situation, left a message and was called back very quickly. I was worked into their schedule for same day service! Extremely knowledgeable, used very high-tech equipment to target the exact spot of a leak under my home. Going above and beyond, capped off the leaking section of my house so I don’t have to go without water for at least a week while I wait to have my whole house re plumbed and, on top of all that cleaned up after they were finished!!! 💯 STARS

My water bill has been rising every month for the past 3 months. This month it is over $100 for a 1 person home. I called a plumber I've used in the past and he referred me to Above & Beyond Leak Detection to find the leak. I called and spoke with Trent . He could come out the next day between 9:00-9:30AM. He was early, which was fine with me. He quickly found the leak and took the time to explain what needed to be done to fix the leak. I was very happy with this company. I work with a Mold Assessment company and we ALWAYS refer Trent if we can not pinpoint a leak. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I had a leak in the copper hot water line in the slab somewhere under my guest bathroom vanity. Trent was very professional and courteous. He was able to pinpoint the location of the leak, but also provided me with infrared photos to indicate exactly where water had seeped into the drywall and baseboards. Highly recommend!

Trent is amazing! Extremely honest and professional. He was able to identify why my water bill doubled without charging me the full water inspection service fee. He could have charged me the full price, but he was honest and transparent, and stated that it was just my water sprinkler hose that was causing my bill to double.

He went beyond all my expectations by actually fixing a hose connection on my well pump so I don’t use the water from my main supply to save me money. So grateful!

If you want an excellent technician, that will find your leak or explain why you have excess water, Trent is your guy !

Wow, I am beyond impressed with this company. Before calling them to help find a water leak coming from my roof, my insurance company sent out their Field Adjuster and a roofing company who both said they could not find the leak. I had a serious issue on my hands with 300 gallons of water per hour leaking somewhere on my property. The plumbers I called informed me that I would first have to have someone come to locate the leak. They referred me to AB Leak Detection. My serious issue turned out to be something the detector could fix himself and what might have cost me thousands of dollars by then having to call the plumbers, ended up just being a few hundred dollars. For over a month, I have been dealing with the back and forth between multiple plumbers and a/c companies trying to figure out where the water in my garage was coming from. I finally found Trent at Above & Beyond Leak Detection and I am beyond grateful. Trent was able to finally find the source of the leak and was even able to repair it for me so I wouldn’t have to deal with yet another plumber or a/c company. I highly recommend Trent at Above and Beyond Leak Detection. He has been to our house twice now for separate issues. He is very professional, thorough, and clean. He truly goes above and beyond in his services. On this most recent visit, he identified a new leak, and gave clean, easy to follow instructions on how to repair it ourselves. He also identified a source of a new potential leak related to our faucet. I was hesitant to replace it myself, but Trent walked me through the process patiently, even recording videos on my phone that I could reference later. His time and effort (again, completely unrelated to the reason for his visit) enabled me to do the replacement work myself. He literally saved me hundreds of dollars in plumbing costs. We came back from vacation with a small section of our carpet being damp. Thinking the worst, I couldn’t find the source of the water, so after googling companies and reaching out to a few, Trent was the first person to get come out that same morning. He quickly found the source. Throughout he explained what was happening and how he could fix and also help clean up the water that had accumulated from our water heater. Instead of temporarily fixing it and telling us we needed a whole new heater, he took the time to fix the broken pipe and the cost was incredibly reasonable, where other companies would have charged a lot more. He even cleaned up the water, and set up our heavy shop fan to start drying the wet area to prevent mold growth. I highly recommend this company, honest, hard working and incredibly helpful. Very valuable to have them here in our community!

I would like to thank Trent Sherman with Above & Beyond Leak Detection for his stellar work at my home. I had a leak in my main line between the meter and my house. This usually may not be too difficult but I also have several large oak trees to contend with.
