Zach, Moose, and Rick are the best!!! They were very professional, provided knowledgeable responses to all my questions, kept me informed every step of the way, and very responsive. I felt like I was with longtime friends as they installed two exterior flood lights on my garage, installed two hard wired ring flood lights, installed a deck exterior light, and installed/updated my electrical panel.

We had Mr. Sparky come out to do a lot of work around our new house. The entire experience was great, especially after having tried multiple other electricians without any luck. Mr. Sparky had someone out for a quote in less than a week, provided numerous options for how the work could be done, and completed all the work without issue. Additionally, they were always super communicative on when they would be there, the electrician they would be sending, and if they ran into any issues, what the available options going forward were. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any additional work.
Had a new breaker panel installed. Had new electric ran to the garage. Brandon was very nice and supper professional. It was a 3 day project. Brandon called with a eta all 3 days. He answered all questions. I would recommend Brandon if you need electric work done.

We had Mister Sparky come out twice now, once to evaluate our system and fix an issue with power, and again for them to fix our electric panel that had gotten water in it (found in visit 1). Brandon helped us the first time, and Johnny came out the second with Brandon. Both visits were quick, concise, and very thorough. Both Brandon and Johnny kept us informed every step of the way, and explained what was going on. Prices were fair, and information plentiful. They provide excellent notes and receipts as well.We got a few quotes from them on assorted projects and will absolutely request them on those. 10/10 would recommend!

Carlos did an awesome job as well as his helper. I appreciate his honesty and I feel like he was sincere. Now one thing that kind of sucks but it isn't Carlos' fault is that I am member which is supposed mean I get priority scheduling. This last time though I called on a Monday and no one came until Thursday. I'm not sure why I'm paying a monthly fee if I'm not going to be moved to the top of the list.

Carlos and his assistant Angel were prompt, professional and friendly. They swapped out two ceiling fixtures and moved one outlet above the counter and another out of sight behind the range hood. Now our remodel looks clean! It’s the second time I have used them, because Carlos was such a pleasure to work with last summer when our kitchen remodel started.
Bottom line: Carlos did a fantastic job.After buying a house with faulty wiring I consulted with multiple electricians. I was looking for a company who I could trust to do the job right and to be communicative, professional, and priced competitively. I'd previously left a negative review for Mister sparky based off of confusion on my side. In response to my review somebody from the management side reached out to me and pointed out where I was incorrect. they were more than helpful in highlighting where I misunderstood things, where I was wrong. They were professional, courteous.After pointing out where I was incorrect, I have to say I did have a pretty good interaction overall until I had to reach out to support. Once I was able to get ahold of the right person everything was able to be ironed out quickly and clearly. Unfortunately, it took a review to reach the right person.The folks sent out we're solid, the management I worked with was solid. Escalation process could use a little love and attention.

I highly recommend Mr. Sparky. The dispatcher, Cheyenne, called the day before to confirm my appointment, but also offered an earlier appointment option, which I really apperciated. I was very impressed with our electrician, Dustin. He was polite, professional and communicated everything very well. At the initial consultation he explained all of our replacement options and pricing thoroughly. He let us know up front that Mr. Sparky had financing options with Ally Financial. He and his team did a great job on the installation and completed the project within the committed time frame, even when he was short an electrician the second day.
I have an older house that I am trying to sell. I've been working with Mr. Sparky and Zach for over a year fixing several issues along the way. Zach has been great and very accommodating with all my requests and always does an amazing job.

As a brand new homeowner, I've felt extremely overwhelmed by all of the projects and home upkeep that I now need to worry about. When my electrical panel shorted a day before move in, I was extremely upset and overwhelmed, but Mister Sparky was quick to respond, assured me that everything would be okay, and provided top of the line service. The electricians, Johnny and Zach were right on time (if not a little early!), extremely professional, and easy to talk to. They provided a clear explanation of what they thought was wrong before taking every precaution to make sure the issue got fixed when it was not as obvious as we thought it was at first. On top of all this, they came back the next day to help me install a new fan because the original fan was broken and wired incorrectly.I will be recommending Mister Sparky to every homeowner I know, and I'll make sure to tell them to ask for Zach and Johnny. Zach and Nick came by to look at my attic fan on Memorial Day which was wonderful. The fan was making horrible grinding noises and was very loud so I wanted an estimate on how much to repair/replace my unit. They took a look at it and with some quick fixes like WD40 and tightening of the motor and it sounds so much better. I know this is only a bandaid fix but I don’t have to replace it immediately. I have nothing but good things to say about Brandon. He’s on time, friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions, made excellent recommendations, just wonderful overall. He was also wonderful and patient with my inquisitive young children, which I truly appreciated. I’m so happy with this big job (panel, fixing aluminum wiring at outlets, new switches and fixtures in a few places) and how well done it is!
We requested a quote on some upgrading of existing panel and somewhat extensive renovation to a garage. Our Mr. Sparky tech asked twice as many questions as another bidder. Asked additional questions furthering the discussion on each point resulting in understanding which the other guy didn’t pursue. I’m eager to see their pricing and trust it will be accurate.

It’s hard to believe with all these good reviews but I had the worst customer service experience. Paid $50 to get a quote for some basic work. Despite calling at least 10 times I never received my quote. After this I asked to get a refund which I never got despite being promised. I’m not sure what was going on but it was like they couldn’t care less about getting my business.

And attic fan didn’t work due to prior work done in the attic installation of furnace (the emergency shut off switch for the fan was never turned back on). Eric was the electrician that came by this last Sunday morning to check on some circuit re-wiring that I need. First off he called me before he was on his way which was very courteous. When he arrived he was super professional. I had actually put my dog behind closed doors (you never know who likes dogs and who doesn't) and he asked me to let her out so he could say hi. Aj and Ben came out to upgrade the main panel from 150 to 200 amps, Install some dedicated circuits, and add some outlets. They were always on time, super friendly, and make sure I was aware of all the work they were doing, and consulted me before placement of any outlets. They worked quickly and professionally, making sure I understood the scope of the work and how things were wired. They only had to do minimal drywall damage and make sure to leave the pieces intact for easy repair. Called out to replace a breaker. Took over a week to get an appointment.. Technician wanted to get a second opinion on some cabling that looked discolored before replacing the breaker. Paid the trip fee.. heard back from them the next day that essentially the options were replace everything or replace the breaker.. there was somehow a mixup with getting my email written down correctly even though I had booked online and I had to reach out multiple times to get the actual quote. The replace everything option was close to 5k for a hunch.. and the replace the breaker option was going to be $300. After the quote I sent a follow-up email to try to understand the pricing a bit more as they had sent member and non-member pricing and I wanted to better understand why replacing a single breaker was gonna end up costing me $350 when the national average is somewhere closer to $150 to which over 4 days went by with no response and I eventually called the technician who proceeded to basically say he hadn't gotten my email and it was his day off then proceeded to say we're a business and not meant for everyone and that the cost was a generic fixed.. he seemed annoyed at me for wanting clarity about the actual work being done.. so now I'm out $50.. over 2 weeks since I first made an appointment and will not be using their services again.. I get that you're a business and that there is a profit margin.. don't belittle your customers and try to upsell every step of the way.. also if you really want to differentiate yourself from a handyman.. it'd probably be best if all communication happened through some sort of centralized system so I'm not calling you on your day off especially when you claim to be a 24hour service. That being said the technician was mostly nice and answered when I called but overall felt like a service that wants to take advantage of their customers

My attic fan failed a couple of years ago and was replaced by a local handy man. It has now failed again. Eric from Mr. Sparky diagnosed the issues (a combination of a not-top-of-the-line unit and a problem with an aging electrical box). He gave me several options. He was clear about the pros and cons of each option, as well as the costs, so that I could make a fully informed decision (something that's extremely important to me for other reasons). The necessary parts will be one or two weeks to arrive, so the job isn't actually done yet. So far, I'm impressed, and will update when everything's finished.Eric installed the replacement fan today. He took the time to show me the old one (much smaller, marginal capacity, and obviously the cheapest option), as well as to show me the reversed polarity in the outlet box it had been connected to. (I'm a tradesman's kid & so understood and appreciated what that meant.) He corrected the outlet wiring, installed the new fan unit, tested/demonstrated it, and also talked me though the available app with which I can monitor and adjust the fan settings (temp and humidity) if or as desired. He made a minimal mess, considering the amount of insulation, etc., that he had to deal with, but thoroughly cleaned everything afterwards. He disposed of the old unit, and offered to also dispose of the box from the new one, though recommended that I keep it for around 30 days in case of a hardware issue that might necessitate a return or exchange. All in all, I found him friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thourough. I would highly recommend both him and Mr. Sparky.

Ben was the electrician that came to my home to assess the work that needed to be done on my landscape lighting. He was awesome! Very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. He pointed out the boxes where my issues were and explained how they worked. He also set the timer so the lights came on at night instead of 9:30 in the morning! I definitely recommend Mr. Sparky and Ben! I will call them for all my electrical needs.

We had great service from Carlos Chavarria of Mr. Sparky. He was prompt, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. He tackled our old inverter system with ease, replacing a cooling fan deep within its innards, which necessitated disconnecting and disassembling a bunch of complex wiring and components (circuit breakers, charge controllers, monitor wiring and battery farm all involved) to get to the fan. He reconnected everything with no problems whatsoever, and everything is working wonderfully, good as new! I am very pleased with his service - Mister Sparky will be my first choice for electrical services from now on!

I called to ask about having a tech out to look at fixing a home outlet. I was told there would be a $50 trip fee. In my opinion, that should include coming out to give a bid on the job. But, when the service tech showed up to my house, he told me a basic diagnostic to assess the problem and start work (in additional to the trip fee) would be $401. What a racquet!!!

We had some trouble installing a 3-way smart plug and reached out via the website. The tech arrived a couple days later (unannounced—we never received a notification he was coming but fortunately we’re home). He completed the work but installed the plugs upside down and left a mess of cut wires for our small kids to find. Disappointed at the sloppy work.

He also fixed a few outlets that weren’t working same day!Update: Installation was completed today. Ben was able to arrive early (called beforehand and asked if we would like that, worked for us very well!) Upon arrival, Ben wore shoe covers, only asked a few questions, ran us through what he’d be doing, and quickly and efficiently installed our Ring camera. He was also very friendly with our dog. :) Everything works very well and Ben was extremely pleasant to work with.Would recommend!

I have used Mr Sparky for my whole house rewire before, so I called them to inspect and quote the repairs needed when a tree broke and pulled the wires from the Xcel pole to my mast. They were here within a couple hours!!! YAY!!! AND I am on the schedule for 2 days from now....nearly unheard of in this environment!! Super service ***UPDATE**** Thursday: called before arrival, came on-time, fast and efficient service, replaced mast base, reinforced stabilizers and added whole house surge protector. VERY PLEASED. I scheduled an appointment on line for a month in advance, got follow up but they never showed. I called and scheduled and appointment, they showed up and wanted to charge me $1200 for and outside outlet. I declined the service and had to pay them $50 for the estimate. But, Ben did get to the bottom of the issue. The cost was pretty high to just replace a belt, ($312), but it was better than having to replace the entire attic fan. We would use them again if needed.

Whole process was easy...I put in an online request on Monday (Memorial Day) and they had someone out to my place by Wednesday morning, and it could have been sooner if I needed. Eric did such a nice job on the installation of a recessed outlet for us. While the underlying purpose of our electrician needs came from me not reading the box my non-dimmable lights came in, Brandon also replaced my bedroom light switch which had been a fire hazard since we bought our house. We can now use our ceiling fan! We also saw the value of the membership especially right now while were redoing our basement.They aren’t an hourly service, they’ll do their inspection and give you the price right up front which was very helpful.Brandon was professional, knowledgeable, and has great customer service. He had no problem walking me through the things that needed done and the “why” behind it all. As someone who likes to learn these types of fixes, even though I might not ever do it myself, this was great.I highly recommend this company for your electrical work.

Brandon, from Mister Sparky, came out and we were told a technician would come out to give us a quote for $50. When he showed up, he told us there's a $175 evaluation fee on top of $50 for him to just show up. I'm good. I love service workers and working with them, but now I'm expected to pay you $50 just to show up. I wish I had a job like that to just show up and get $50 just to visit your house. Nonsense. Won't forget this experience ever.

Our house had the original panel from 1962, and working from home during COVID meant that we were drawing too much power for it to handle. Ben and Carlos installed a new panel and outlet for us, and Carlos has been back a couple times to help with some other minor issues we've had. They are great guys who are skilled and knowledgable and have fixed every problem we've had. I really can't recommend Mister Sparky enough.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Ben and the Mr. Sparky team. I live in a 1908 Bungalow and found shoddy and hazardous electrical work underneath my deck while doing some back yard renovations. Ben recognized the urgent state of not only the badly done indoor wiring outside, but he also knew that additional work could not move forward until this issue was fixed. Although his schedule was already full, he made time to come out to fix the wiring which also required the unpleasant task of spending time in our crawl space. He really went above and beyond and I cannot thank him enough for saving the day!
Had a circuit-breaker repeatedly tripping, and it was not from overuse (entryway lights only, no appliances plugged into outlets). Called Mister Sparky, and receptionist was efficient and originally had me scheduled in 5 days, but later called to offer an appointment the same day in the late afternoon. Carlos arrived on time, and was exceedingly professional, seemed knowledgeable, and helpful! He outlined some possible reasons for the circuit breaker issue (and checked out the sockets, light switches, and lightbulbs), as well as options for addressing--watching and waiting after one of the lightbulbs contact was re-adjusted, or changing out the breaker preemptively to a less sensitive breaker. He reassured me that there was no safety issue at this time based on his evaluation. Everything went smoothly, and so far so good. And I have a plan if it trips again. Would mention there is a coupon on their website that is worth printing if you end up getting a specific service. Crossing my fingers I won't need their help again soon!

Got all my dad's outlets working and signed up for their membership service. A good deal since my dad's house is getting older and will need an electrical inspection and some other work done soon. Friendly and honest! I was very pleased with Carlos. I had scheduled an emergency appointment so I was the last one on his list. He was upbeat and friendly like it was the first appointment of his day. Luckily my issue turned out to be a simple fix. I appreciate not trying to get me to purchase things I didn’t need. 100% recommend.
Brandon was very patient and fixed our doorbell which turned out to be a much more complicated issue than I think we and he were expecting. He installed a thermostat and since it took 30 minutes to test, he checked in afterwards to make sure everything was up and running properly. Highly recommend Mister Sparky services.
We purchased a house from 1932 that still had original unsafe wiring. Michael and his team did a fantastic job rewiring the entire first floor! They were extremely thorough and left minimal drywall holes, far fewer than we expected. Our lights no longer flicker, we have peace of mind and more power available in each room. Like most electricians, they are not inexpensive, but it's worth it to have an experienced team like this to prevent headaches down the road.

Just completed what I think was our 3rd visit for misc repairs and he's always top notch!1st Experience: Also amazing!Ben and Carlos went above and beyond on their recent visit to install new grounding and upgrade our exterior meter and panel. They were both very pleasant, professional and efficient. Very communicative and helpful - answered all of our questions. Highly recommend them. I will say that scheduling could be more efficient with Mister Sparky and waiting for a call back from dispatch for answers to some questions is a bit of a pain but the work speaks for itself. When one of our smoke detectors started randomly going off we made an appointment with Mister Sparky having read good online reviews . They didn’t disappoint !Austin Martin arrived in excellent time, wore shoe covers which was thoughtful, and was polite, and super efficient , so much so that I actually ask d him to replace a couple more detectors with their 10 year (no battery required) warrantied own brand. The company and technician were very professional. Did good work. I feel their prices were on the high side but I was in a pinch and needed it done. Otherwise I would’ve called around for more reasonable pricing.
I scheduled service online and never received any type of appointment confirmation (email, text or voice). So I assumed the request did not go through. Then the day of my intended appt I get a text that says technician was on his way. I opted to go through with it, but I wasn’t home so I had my wife handle. Outlet stopped working and I checked all circuit breakers and nothing was tripped. Technician was out for less than an hour and diagnosed (per the invoice), that “sub panel circuit breaker was tripped” .The tech reset the switch and it resolved the issue. Charged me over $300 just to flip a switch. Since I had already checked both the primary and sub panel I can only assume there must be another sub panel I was not aware of. I tried emailing and got no response so I called their local number that was on the invoice and was on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up. I still don’t know which panel resolved it so if it ever trips again it is another $300 to have someone flip a switch.My biggest problem with this company was the lack of communication both before and afterwards. I also am not comfortable with the price, but maybe I would be comfortable if they gave me more insight to justify it.

Got some water in an outlet. Scheduled a visit, they were able to come early and called to see if I'd be home. I was, so they came right out. Brandon was friendly, helpful and explained everything. It was cheaper than I'd expected, too.

He showed up on time, measured and brought the right material and installed in a timely and professional fashion. The company charges a little more than others but their job is done right. We were foolish enough to hire this company for a very simple job. All we needed was two outdoor outlets changed with covers installed. We also needed an old automatic sprinkler junction box eliminated. The tech who came did not have the parts in his van even though we were very clear as to what parts were needed. Once he returned from Home Depot, the work took him less than an hour to complete and we got a bill for almost $700. AFTER the outdoor outlet was changed and the work was complete, the tech told me the wiring was not safe and the outlet needed to be moved or eliminated. I questioned why that was not communicated up front and got a run around answer then he tried to charge me more to fix what we asked him to fix in the first place. I asked him where the wiring went even though the answer was clear, to the junction box he eliminated and he said, I have no idea. Then he tried to charge me to diagnose where the wiring went even though the answer was clear and right in front of his face. Rather than get upset at this point, I gave him every opportunity to remedy the situation but given it was almost 5 o clock, he clearly did not want to make the outlet safe. The direction was simple, make the outdoor outlets safe for our 18 month old. Why would the tech finish the job then try to tell me it was still not safe and charge me more to fix what we initially called them for? Not only is the pricing a complete rip off, but the job was not done to our very clearly communicated desired outcome? DO NOT EVER PAY TIERED PRICING FOR ELECTRICAL!!! You will be very sorry if you do and even more sorry if you hire this company to do anything. As mentioned in previous reviews, they are all about squeezing their customers for the highest profit possible for the least amount of work done. Thank you for a $700 charge for nothing Mr. Sparky. Hopefully your terrible business practices come back to shock you.
Eric and Coulter were very friendly and very professional. They stayed until the problem was found ( a faulty breaker was the problem).They recommend I get breaker box be rebuilt due to age. Hopefully in the spring we can have that done. Again they’re great people. A spark in my breaker box around 11:00pm killed all power in my house & so I had no heat for the night. I called Mr. Sparky about 8:00am after calling 5 other companies the night before, 1 of which scheduled me for immediate service then NEVER SHOWED! (Lions Home Service in Ft. Collins). Our installer Brandon was very professional and efficient. We are very pleased with the installation of ceiling fans with light fixtures in two bedrooms. Unfortunately the light fixture in the hallway could not be installed beaused it required a pull chain type fixture. But Brandon assured us that it would also be installed ASAP.

I'd love to be able to provide a review on actual craftsmanship and work, but getting the appointment on the books was IMPOSSIBLE!I am a Realtor in Denver trying to get a quote for an Inspection Objection punch list. I emailed and called (what seems to be a call center maybe) and was told that they cannot schedule until the owner gives me authorization to represent the property... ok not the end of the world. The owner (my client) called a little while later and then the lady I worked with us on lunch thus delaying it even further. When she got back she emailed me that she would put together something (no clue what?!) and would let me know when it was complete. I stated we still needed to schedule an appointment and I was concerned about how long this was taking for something so basic. When she called me back 30 minutes or so later, all the appointments were booked for the following day! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I was very patient leading up to that point and expressed how time was of the essence to get it booked and get a quote.She then told me to wait and she would try to get a dispatcher on the line... she came back and said, Great news! We can get you in tonight. I don't know what time, but it'll be after 4 PM and we can give you like a 20-30 minute notice... and it'll cost you $49.95 just to book it. By then I was frustrated and told her that she had literally wasted my time. I said, now I was forced to adjust my afternoon/evening schedule, plus pay for this questionable service?! She made it seem like she was doing me a favor, but when we started communicating there were plenty of appointments the next day (according to her, LeiLani/Lee). Frankly, this type of service provided is the type I run from! They're only about the dollar and not building working relationships, providing a reliable service and sound communication. I truly believe I did my clients a favor in the end... this company seems like an ADD-ON CHARGES kind of company after being baited all day into her trap! BEWARE and best of luck to anyone that reads this review. ;-)
A technician came out on 10/12. Diagnosed the problem and gave a quote on the work. Stated he would need to come back on 10/18 8:00-9:00am to do the work so an appointment was scheduled for that day and that time to have the work done. I confirmed twice with the technician while he was standing in my house the appointment date and time. After the technician left on 10/12 I received a text confirming my appointment for 10/13. I called and spoke with the company as my appointment was not for 10/13 and had been scheduled for 10/18. The guy I spoke to when I called confirmed that the text was incorrect and that my appointment was confirmed for 10/18 8:00-9:00. On 10/18 9:00am rolled around and no one had showed up. So I called the company again to confirm my appointment. I spoke with a woman this time who confirmed that my appointment was for 10/18 but it was for 8:00-12:00. So then 12:00 rolls around I'm still no one has shown up. So I called the company back and spoke with a woman again who this time told me that my appointment is actually for 10/19 8:00-12:00. This is not correct. I know when I scheduled the appointment as I wrote it down at the time it was scheduled and I confirmed it with the technician when he was standing in my kitchen, and furthermore I confirmed it with two other people when I called the company to confirm. I'm not sure what happened. I don't know if they changed my appointment and never notified me or what. But I rearranged my entire day for the appointment and no one showed up. And reading the reviews it looks like this is a common problem with this company. I was told someone would call me back to see what happened but I have not received a call yet. Super disappointing.

I have had a few jobs done in my home with Mr Sparky, and each one was beyond satisfactory. Carlos did a new 15 amp circuit for me today, along with a surge protector that protects my entire house. Carlos accommodated my busy schedule, was on time, and did the job professionally. I have more jobs lined up for them in the future, as I have an older house. I recommend Mr Sparky to anyone who needs help with their home electrical needs. They even showed me how to install my own gfci receptacles.

Eric and his assistant spent a day in my house updating all of the old two-prong outlets throughout my 1950 home and fixing a few wiring issues in my laundry room and attic. They knew what they were doing and did an excellent job. The crew was easy to book, I got text updates and phone calls about when they were arriving, and pricing seemed fair for the work they did. Michael Kloman was Awesome! Very personable, professional, experienced over 20 years. I really like this guy, I'll have him back for some home upgrades. Definitely would recommend. He also had a fun sense of humor and answered all my questions at my annual safety and maintenance inspection (check out their yearly plan, get discounts). He found a few minor things that weren't up to code, and installed new fixtures too. Well worth it! You might find cheaper electricians, but you won't find better ones. (Krikey, I sound like an ad. But give these guys a try.)
Good quality electrical work. Very hardworking company representative. Some things needed to be adjusted, but they made it right and I am happy with the work. Complete panel replacement, 2 15a circuits and 1 30a dryer circuit pulled in too.

I don't know what's going on with this place. The first appointment I got a call about an hour before they were supposed to show up that they couldn't make it, fine I went ahead and rescheduled. They never bothered to show up the second time, no call, no text, nothing. Call to make a third appointment this was going to be almost 3 weeks out from the second appointment. Said they would call back to see if they could get me in earlier because they missed the second appointment and of course nobody bothered to call me back. I can't wait 2 months to have a small electrical job done so I went and hired somebody else. I have no idea what their work is like but so far favorably unimpressed with their unprofessionalism.

I am handicapped and can't climb ladders to replace lightbulbs for ceiling fixtures.Mr. Sparky (Justin) arrived as scheduled. He put on his shoe covers and started right in on a list of electrical issues I had. Although none were complicated, I was so glad to have them resolved. He worked quietly and efficiently. I needed him to return a second time and install a new ceiling light fixture. He handled that quickly and also replaced some light bulbs for me. Eric was very personable & informative. He replaced the “AC” switch, in the breaker box and tried to get the AC unit to function, but it didn’t. He then diagnosed the AC unit itself, & believes the issue has more to do with the AC unit itself. So…I’ll be making an appt with the company’s HVAC Dept for further evaluation. Although my issue was not resolved in one visit. I give Eric, an “A”, for effort, he tried very hard to get it working. 👍🏽

Michael Kloman is extremely difficult to work with. As far as knowing what to expect, communication, politeness and professionalism with his own colleagues, he leaves much to be desired. He held a condescending tone with me and with Ben the other electrician at the property. He was condescending enough to Ben that all of us noticed and discussed it later. In addition, he does not communicate expectations clearly. He arrived for Phase 2 of a job that I thought we had already discussed. And ended up leaving because he said we needed to discuss details of the job. I thought we had done that 10 days ago when he came to estimate. I work in an ER. This is not the time for Michael to demand (and he is demanding and interrupts customers mid-speech) spur of the moment conversations. He should have said AT THE TIME OF ESTIMATE that further conversations would be needed. He also has my number and has texted me regarding the job earlier this and last week. There is NO reason that today be the day he doesn’t bother to try every avenue to contact me (called once) then just decide to leave the job site. And tell me “we had to go on to the next job” when today was slated as an all day job. Moreover, one of my housemates disclosed to me last week that both Michael and Ben drove away. My housemate got in the shower. When housemate got out of the shower, he heard someone upstairs, looked and it was Michael walking around the house. Michael says he hadn’t driven away yet but housemate says he watched both vans drive away. when I asked Michael he said he was just dropping off a paper with info about the breakers and checking to be sure they had cleaned up after themselves. My housemates felt very uncomfortable with him already because he is condescending but after that felt he was creepy and didn’t want him to return for further jobs. We were all also skeptical of his My Little Pony masks and tattoos. I won’t say what vibe that gives off but my housemates actually asked me to hire a different company for phase 2 because Michael was so creepy. Lastly, I hired Mr. Sparky because I respected Justin Medina when he gave me an estimate last year. Michael informed me Justin was no longer with the company. Michael was off putting and cut me off in conversation from the first time I spoke with him but I still hired him because of the good impression from Justin. I told Michael today (as he continued to speak over me) that I will hire another company to do Phase 2. I no longer want to work with him. If there are other teams, I’ll consider them. But not him or any team he is part of. Ben was great to work with. This COVID time is very stressful for me as an ER provider and I was hoping Mr. Sparky could help smooth out this one project without this much turmoil. But I need a team that is professional and good to communicate with and doesn’t waste my time because things are very busy and consuming at work now as you can imagine. I got several bids last year and chose Mr. Sparky but Michael has changed my opinion about the company

This place was pretty good today. I believe his name was Austin? Really nice guy, and he was straight forward. Thought I was going to have to wait for a day, but he was out within 2 hours of me calling them. Super quick, and dependable.
Eric is a great guy and a great electrician. He added an outlet in my crawspace for a new tankless water heater that was installed by my other new friend, Ilija Kostadinov at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I look forward to seeing Eric again to solve future electrical problems.

Eric and his associate, whom I forgot his name; installed 3 additional 110 power outlets in the garage. Everything was done with great pride and professional way. They also wired and installed a 240 volt power outlet for an electric car charging station. The best service one can expect.
My smoke alarm had been chirping (so I thought!) Carlos changed all of the batteries in all of them. As it turned out, there was an old smoke detector on a shelf that was the troublemaker! Carlos took care of that and we are set. Thanks so much! He is awesome!

When I scheduled the appointment, they told me there would be a $50 fee to have a technician come out. I agreed to this fee, and asked someone to come out. When the technician arrived, he said it would be another $240 on top of the $50 for a standard diagnostic service fee.I feel the scheduling department mislead me on the cost of the diagnostic fee. They only discussed the $50, knowing full well that another $240 fee was going to be charge no matter what the issue would be.Had I know the true cost of a diagnosis would be $290 ($240+$50) I wouldn't have even requested they come out. And that $290, would not be applied in any way towards the cost of the actual work (in my case the technician estimated that to be another $350).I don't feel like they are up front with their costs, so please be aware of that before you waste $50 having them come out.

I called after hours because my main circuit breaker was tripping and I had no power. I needed an emergency electrician that evening. The woman I talked to said all their emergency appointments were full but she could schedule me for a regular appointment. Thinking it couldn't hurt to have a backup within a few days, I agreed. She proceeded to take my information and then informed me that the earliest available appointment was in 3 weeks. This was completely unhelpful in my situation and showed a huge lack of compassion and awareness. She should have recommended other emergency electricians in the area or apologized and wished me luck instead of wasting my time making an appointment I didn't need while I sat in the dark.
They gave me an estimate of $2,340 to install ONE CEILING FAN!!!! It didn't even include the fan!!!

I had a protruding outlet that was making my stove stick out 3 inches in an already small galley style kitchen. Ben was on time, professional and took care of the issue very quickly. I will use this company again.
Circuit breaker blew would not reset. Called several places and they did not have any emergency appointments for two days. Mr Sparky did and was here early the next morning. Showed where the old panel had several cracked breakers. At my request (not theirs) replaced the entire panel in less than 7 hours. Brought lots of manpower and got the job done promptly. I will use them every time.

We use Mr. Sparky for all our electrical needs. This time it was a GCFI outlet that I tried to install myself but it didn't work. As always, Mr, Sparky, in the person of Ben, responded to my call very rapidly, was friendly, professional and skilled. He rapidly diagnosed the problem and showed me where I had gone wrong without making me feel like an idiot. This is the only electrical service we will ever use.
I am currently remodeling my bathroom and needed some help with a light fixture. When I took off the old fixture there was no junction box just wires coming out of the wall. Called Mr. Sparky out to help. Dustin did a great job and the new fixture looks good. Would recommend this company if you need electrical help. 👍

I had an outlet not working so I called this company. I was originally told that the diagnostic fee was $45. That is actually the cost just for the tech to show up. It actually cost $400 (including the trip to get there) to do any true diagnosis. In the end, I was charged $400 dollars for about 30min of work from the tech? No parts replaced just tightening a bolt here or there to fix the outlet. I would strongly suggest no one using their service. There are plenty of other honest and fair electric repair companies out there. This one is definitely not one of them.

Mr sparky showed up on time and assessed the situation. He told us we needed new breakers so I hunted down the new breakers. (Our breaker box is obsolete). We had my parents electrician put them in and it still didnt solve the problem. He followed the wires to behind some drywall and discovered that the wires were burned. Mr sparky never even took the time to be sure that his solution was correct. Also mr sparky charged me 3 times as much as my parents electrician. You could tell he was stumped by the problem but he assured us that he knew what was up. I'm very unhappy with the service he gave us and that I had to pay for a second electrician to fix the issue. We will tell our friends about our experience with mr sparky and also with my parents super awesome electrician. I would rather leave a good google review than a bad one but I'm so frustrated that we had to go another day without electricity in the kitchen and living room.

Should absolutely NEVER be contacted or hired. This company charges a service fee and then charges an outrageous price in an attempt to lock you in. They prey on those who lack an understanding of blue-collar trade costs. For example. I called them to get a quote for running two ceiling fan boxes off of two outlets, into bedrooms. And this was with complete attic access. Terms of material costs, this is about 50 feet of wire and two plastic boxes. Generously, that's a wholesale cost of $10. In terms of labor hours we're talking an absolute MAXIMUM of three hours. Probably two. They wanted $1,098 for this job. This means you'll be paying OVER $300 /hr for trade labor. Out of MORBID curiosity I asked them how much they charged to replace an outlet, even if we provided the outlet (wanted to remove material cost). They want $100 per outlet. Changing outlets is a 10 minute job at an absolute max.This company is preying on your ignorance and should be avoided at absolutely all costs.

The electricity stopped working on one side of my rental house. No one had time to come check it out but Mr. Sparky got me in as soon as possible and figured out what the problem was. They gave me a quote and can fit me in right away to get it fixed!
The technician was extremely knowledgeable and with my limited handyman skills I can tell he did the job right. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. I expect the value would show up significantly in larger jobs.

Mr. Sparky was hired by the building manager for a condo I own. I was not given a bid for the work before it was completed. After the work was completed I was advised by the building manager that my share of the work was $2600. For the work that was done, this is outrageous. I checked with competitors and found the work could have been done for half of the amount I was charged. I used the same description of the work they had on the billing provided to obtain the other estimates.I called Mr. Sparky for 4 days to try and get a detailed and honest explanation for the billing. For the first three days I could not talk to a manager. I was told by the dispatcher that a manager would call me and satisfy my complaint. No one ever returned my call. On the 4th day I refused to accept any more promises and after a 30 minute wait, the operations manager finally answered my call and questions. Ryan would not tell me his last name or his title. The only thing he would tell me is This was a package deal and they do not have to justify their charges. They refused to provide any detail on the parts and labor to justify the work they did. The work was done on a monday morning at their standard billing rate. So, no holiday or emergency rates would apply.They promise to clean up after themselves in their advertising. This did not happen. I had to hire a handyman to come back and finish the details around the electrical box they installed and repaint areas they left scratched and damaged. I priced the parts they installed in my unit and found the wholesale cost of the parts used was less than $100. They were in my unit for perhaps 3 hours total labor. The building manager told me they had to run wires from the basement with new conduit. Ryan said they did not do that work. So, they told the building manager one thing and did something else.Don't bother calling these guys for your work. There was NO effort made to satisfy my continued complaints. The building manager already paid the bill in full so they just don't care and I have no recourse but to share my experience.

Wouldn't even come out. Useless. I had to jump through hoops to hire them. They made it so inconvenient that it was ridiculous. I have enough problems with my electric issue that hiring an electric company shouldn't be harder than the actual issue.

Poor service. Electricians never showed up for the appointment I had made more than a month in advance. When I called they said I hadn't confirmed the appointment even though I vividly remember calling them and confirming it. I don't get the impression they are very organized. I went with a different company.
Eric J did an incredible job. Fixed the issue, explained why the issue was occurring and left his card in case anything else happened or the issue comes back. Highly recommend Mister Sparky and if you can get a Eric J in Denver, you’re in luck!

I attempted to use this service but no one showed. They called and left a message about the scheduled service call saying “if the time does NOT work, please call to reschedule.” So, I did not call. I received another message the day of saying “we can’t reach you for your service call. Please contact us” I attempted to call several times to let them know I was there and waiting. They did not show. I finally get in touch and rescheduled for the next morning letting them know there was no need to call to confirm I would definitely be there. Guess what, no show. I will never use this service again.

Do give them your credit card information because they will sign you up for a protection plan. I should have paid their one time estimate fee with a check. They never did any work for me but signed me up for protection plan. I called to dispute but they refused to make the situation right.

This company came through for us when we really needed it. After a different electrician cancelled on us on a Saturday, (despite confirming they would show up), we were facing a very cold night with no heat and few options. I called Mister Sparky on a Saturday evening and they sent someone right away. The electrician was at our house, during a snow storm, in an hour, and called me on the way to discuss the problem. Turns out we had a very tricky problem and he stayed for several hours until he fixed it. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly persistent in fixing the issue. I will be using Mister Sparky for any electricity needs moving forward.

The team of Ben and AJ did their work professionally and quickly. They explained everything thoroughly.
$300 to change a $30 breaker. Which took the guy 10 minutes. But because he didn't have the part in his truck - despite me telling the call center exactly what I needed - he had to run to the warehouse to get it. Then he wasted my time trying to sell me a service package for $120 that would save me 10%. Total time start to finish was close to 3 hours. And the call center that answers the call doesn't even say mr sparky. They answer with the name of some plumbing company.
Zach and Layne were on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will definitely use this company again!
This is the second time that Colter has come to do work in my home. He is always on time, always pleasant, always explains what he is doing, and explains the cost before he begins working. Mr. Sparky came out to my house in September 2018. The technician removed a bad CB and replaced it with an existing unused CB. Then he put the broken CB back in the panel. I had a tech out today because the same circuit breaker needed to be replaced again. The panel had melted. The tech tried to tell me it is because of the age of the 50 amp CB. He said that caused the panel to melt. Then he told me that Mr. Sparky will not take responsibility for the damage that their tech caused. I had a Tech over from another company and their write up said that a 120 and 240 CB were swapped which caused the damage. Mr.Sparky was the last company moving CBs in the box. They won’t take ownership for what the previous tech did. They won’t let me take to the manager. The tech just says he’s the manager. Well if he isn’t the owner, then he has a boss but I can’t seem to talk to him. Then the Mr. Sparky tech said that I couldn’t use the extended warranty that I had bought and renewed because this is a “pre-existing” condition. Well the pre-existing condition was caused by Mr. Sparky. This is the worst service I have ever received. The tech didn’t listen to me when I tried to explain to him that the CB his tech replaced last year is where the melting occurred. I believe that the receipt from last year with a 3 year warranty for labor and parts should cover the cost of a new panel and CB. Especially since the damage and CB to be replaced is the exact CB their tech installed but this tech is telling me it is because the panel is too old from the 1980’s. This company is trying to get out of the warranty from a year ago which should last 3 yrs and the damage their tech caused. They lack integrity and sold me an extended warranty. Then they said I can’t use the warranty. DON’T use them. Definitely don’t buy the warranty. It’s a sham.

Had a great experience. Got everything I needed at a good price. Had interactions with other companies that did not go well. Would use this company again.
worst service ever. Told me they would be here at 2 to 6 and then canceled at 3pm (I called at 10am) kn Thursday. Then told me know one could come tell Monday all while my restuarant was shut down. If they told me sooner I could have found someone else to do it.

Carlos started a project to fix a breaker issue in a rental property i have.Carlos honest and professional and came in under quoted price!Carlos ran an inspection on the whole system as agreed apon and he discovered a very dangerous issue that i completely missed!He explained the problem showed me the danger gave a fair quote ,Not a cheap quote!But a price thats fair And i know that when the job is done it will be done right!!!
