I had a wonderful experience with Handyman Connection. I needed my bathroom sink faucet replaced and the shower faucet fixed. The Handyman who came out was Bryan M. who was extremely well mannered, polite and got the job done efficiently. I was immensely please with his work. I would call Handyman Connection again if I need something done.

I've used Handyman for 4 jobs since moving to Colorado Springs. All the contractors i've dealt with were professional. Brian Nipp installed my light and fan switches and did the job as it was described, he was a very nice and down to earth person who did a great job. I'd recommend Brian and Handyman for any job.

The Handyman Connection and Bill Kay (Craftsman) saved the day. We discovered our water heater leaking and within 5 hours of our call to Handyman Connection, Bill had evaluated the situation, determined we needed a new heater (10 years old!), bought the new one, removed the old one and got the new one up and running. We are planning on replacing the carpet anyway, and Bill took the extra time to remove the carpet and pad to made sure our floors can dry out fully. After calling to see if it was alright, Bryan showed up early (a day early). When he got here he explained what could be done and warned us that the faucet we had bought might not fit exactly. We decided to go with it anyway. Bryan put the faucet in and it looked and worked perfectly. He was very talented and friendly. We would recommend him and Handyman Connection to all.

Called Handyman Connection to replace the drains on my 2 bath tubs. Bryan M arrived at the exact second they said he would. He explained the reason the drains I had bought wouldn't work in my tub, went out for me to purchase new ones that would fit my tub, and bought real nice, high quality drains. He got them installed right away and even cleaned out the gunk in the pipes. Looks great, works perfect and I'm highly satisfied with the work. Great experience. I like to do a lot of my own home repairs, but for the things I know little about, like plumbing, I will be calling Handyman Connection.

I have used Handyman connections for remodeling projects in my home. Joe Puch has been a true professional in all of the projects. He arrives on time and takes great pride in his work. Joe removed and installed old railings, posts, and spindles on our steps. He also did the skirting and apron work on the steps. Everything looks just beautiful! It was professionally done. Joe also removed and replaced doors and baseboards throughout our home. Again, we are so pleased with his work. I would highly recommend using Handyman Connections in Colorado Springs.

Bryan Morin, plumber arrived at my house on time. My problem was 2 kitchen faucets dripping. A previous company Patriot Plumbing started their bid at $800 - setteled at $360. Brian came in assessed the problem, picked up upgraded cartridges for the Delta faucets and within 2 hours and $224 the problems were solved. He also advised me to keep the packaging for the Delta faucets and if a new drip occurs I can call Delta for the lifetime of the faucets to get free parts and just pay for labor installation. Bryan was pleasant, efficient and honest. I would recommend Handyman Connection again. And definitely will ask for Bryan thank you Terryl

They quoted my wife $650 for a 20sq ft tile install. We called another reputable company and were quoted $220 for the exact same job. Glad we called multiple companies, as this one was clearly trying to rip us off.

I would say the work is decent. I had my entire flooring replaced with luxury vinyl. The person who quoted was a nice guy, but was obviously a new contractor and didn't have a clue about flooring. Luckily he came with another contractor who was able to teach him. Unfortunately, he was teaching him while I'm taking leave from work so the job was estimated to be completed over three days, instead it took me taking leave on 3 separate occassions over the span of 3 months. The flooring looks nice, but the attention to detail is lacking for what I paid, in very visible areas. If I were to recommend this service, I would definately get a resume and pictures from your selected contractor to ensure they have worked on that selected project, and make sure they stick to the estimate to the T, otherwise you'll be stuck fixing it yourself.

I needed some minor carpet repairs done, I called and they sent Mark Hamman, he was on time, professional, knowledgable and got the repair done in in hour! I would definitely use Mark and Handyman Connection again!

Within an hour of my phone call to Handyman, Bryan Frawley came out to install a new peephole on my front door. He was very polite and completed the job in a timely manner. I was very happy with my experience with Bryan and will continue to use Handyman for future house projects.

Have used Handyman MANY times over the past several years. Expensive, but reliable and good contractors in many disciplines. Today, however, an appointment scheduled a month ago and a crucial one, they didn’t even schedule! A day’s work missed and now I’m scrambling to find another contractor to do the work with little time left. NOT HAPPY.

Robert Jackson was very professional and deliberate in his work. The ceiling was done almost like it never was damaged. He cleaned up after himself and left the area very clean. He arrived in a timely manner.

I have had several Project that I called Handyman for and each time the service and quality were EXCELLENT!
My latest project included some painting in various areas in my house. MARK HAMANN came out and did and Excellent Job! He is friendly, courteous, and professional. I am looking forward to his returning soon to do some additional work that I need to have taken care of.

Very pleased with Handyman Connection. Rodney did a great job working on our French Doors, adjusting one door so it properly opens/closes again, and replacing the weather strip on another door. The service has been professional, swift and smooth. We definitely will use them again if the need arises.

All I needed was my toilet fixed because it was running they showed up at my home and tried to invoice me $300 to repair -for a $20 part. And my husband ended up repairing it himself without any parts it all off of YouTube the valve was off track.

Paul Aragon did a wonderful job installing my kitchen faucet, and bathroom sink (with accesories). Showed up on time and was very friendly, i will be calling handmany connections and requesting him to all my friends and family.

I am very upset with this company. My husband signed the contract for the guy to do the work before he went to get the door to install. He was under the impression that the guy would have to cut the door down in order to fit so we felt that justified the cost of $150. However, the guy ended up not having to cut down the door. When we called to get some of our money back since the work agreed upon wasn't completed, we were told if he would've had to cut the door down it would've costed nearly $400. That number was never discussed and compared to other estimates is outrageous. We paid $150 for someone to go to the store to pick up a closet door, drill a hole in it for the handle and hook it into place with a simple piece of hardware. We could've done that ourselves. The only reason we hired them was to cut the door down which they didn't do. We feel we got no where near our money's worth. If I were you I'd find someone else to do your work for a fair price.

Gina has completed various projects at my home on four separate occasions. The first time I just called Handyman Connection and Gina was the crafts-person that was sent out. One the other three projects I specifically requested that she was the crafts-person I wanted to do the work at my house. Gina is professional and very talented as well as knowledgeable in her craft. Her craftsmanship is a credit to her profession.

I will continue to ask for her whenever I need work done on my home. She treats the work she is doing as if it were her own home she was working on.

I have been working with Handyman Connection electrician Brian Nipp as my primary electrician for some time. He is very knowledgeable and great to work with. I always request to schedule with Brian because he is such a good electrician.

We are very happy with our new bathroom remodel. Russ D. and Bryan M. did a great job from start to finish. His eye for detail is great. The tile work in the shower area and the quartz countertop are most people's favorites. We recently had Roger Mourning from Handyman Connections do the bathroom shower and floor with tile and finish the rest of our basemanent with drywall, painting, doors and trim. The work is first class and I can't stress enough how please we are.

Bryan was timely, professional, experienced & did a great job on a challenging faucet repair! Faucet was old & corroded internally & not easy to find parts for. He was very adept at getting the faucet functioning properly & improving the operation of it without any drips or spinning of the handle (did not stop in the proper position, before he fixed it.). Then, when some trim pieces broke off due to age & corrosion, he spent extra time locating where we could get replacement parts & even told us how to switch it out ourselves to save time & money. Offered to come back out, of course, if we needed his help! Thanks, Bryan for not giving up on a job we thought was going to be a simple, quick fix! You persevered & we appreciate that! Paul was fantastic! He came out to fix the backflow for our sprinklers for this summer. No only did he quote, he completed the work right then and there! The pricing is reasonable and always simple to schedule - Autumn is great!

I have used Handyman Connection numerous times and have found them to be prompt, qualified, polite and professional in general. I highly recommend them.

On February 2 I set up an appointment to obtain an estimate to have crown molding put up in two rooms in my home. The appointment was set for February 6 & I was told the work could be done immediately if I was agreeable with the estimate. Gary of Handyman showed up on time and provided an agreeable estimate. He went right to work and completed the job in the mid afternoon. Gary was prepared to complete the work and he was professional and skilled. The crown molding looks wonderful and I am very pleased with the work.

This place is awful. Wanted to charge me 2.5 times what I paid to have the job done. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Scott the Plumber was great. Arrived on time and was honest about what was going on. He helped us fix the problem at the lowest cost to us. He also made the appointment because he knew we were without hot water even though he generally doesn't work on the day we got scheduled for. Travis is a great Electrician! He was super friendly and clean. He was also punctual! I would definitely recommend this company!!

Mark did some painting for us and I forgot to give him credit for the wonderful job he did. On time, clean, worked steady, pleasant, just was a nice job.
This week he installed a curtain rod, which he had to overcome the difficulty of discovering the floor goes uphill. He stayed cool, calm & collected, and I am completely satisfied with his work.

Bryan came to my home on 18 Jan 2013 to diagnose and repair humming in my water pipes. He knew right away that the problem was the water pressure regulator. He left to get the parts and came back shortly and replaced the regulator. Bryan was polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. Bryan M has been out to my house multiple times to repair aged plumbing connections, replaced all the faucets, and installed a new kitchen sink. He's very much a perfectionist, and I will always request him.

Had plumber Bryan Morin come out and replace the icemaker pipe and valve that I had broken. He did an excellent job. It was a tight space that I knew I couldn't handle and his 15 years of plumbing service really proved true. He troubleshot the problems, and within 2 hours I had a completed job. We hired Handyman Connection to remodel our 80's vintage bathrooms. Barbra was our initial point of connection, as project manager, and scoped out what we wanted to accomplish, helping us make decisions about details we had not considered; she also offered to assist us in selecting materials. Barbra carefully spelled out in our contract everything we expected to be done, including removal of unwanted materials and clean-up, and then inspected to ensure its completion.

Rodger (with a d) was our craftsman, with whom we were very pleased. Our town home does not offer much extra space for storing stuff, but Rodger was respectful of our need to carry on while the projects were in motion, and kept the resulting mess to a minimum. His craftsmanship is excellent, and attention to detail is evident. He brings vast experience to his work, and accomplished everything our project required...drywall repair, painting, cabinet installation, plumbing, flooring. And, he's also a great guy! We love the transformation! Thank you!

Handyman Connection sent me Tom Demers, who, among other things, built and installed handrails, installed flashing, painted and primed certain exterior walls, and hung a finicky bathroom-mirror cabinet. Michael Gouge repaired some siding on our house that had been damaged after we had a new gas fireplace installed. He did an excellent job in the time frame he quoted me. Very professional and courteous! I would recommend his work highly!

I had handyman connection come out to my home a little over a year ago to paint our fence. They charged a fair price and did a really good job. The gentlemen who came out was very personal and friendly. Just a few months ago I had them come back out to install a ceiling fan for me. This was also a really good experience. I will continue to use them for other projects around my home.

Brian N. replaced a faulty and dangerous electrical outlet and explained why the old one had begun to burn. (Scary for someone who lost her previous home to the wildfire!) He was thorough, patient with all my questions, polite, and worked efficiently. He also looked briefly at a malfunctioning ceiling fan (which I'll have him back to work on) and answered more questions for me about the electrical safety in this older, temporary rental home. In short, he took good professional care of my immediate problem, and helped calm some of my concerns. I'll definitely request him again.

David from Handyman Connection has been to my house 4 times in the last year. Twice to construct new steps and railings for front and back doors. And twice to put up vinyl shutters to replace the old, broken ones. I think the pricing is very fair for the work done and David is very good at what he does. Always polite and does such a great job. I will definitely use David and Handyman Connection in the future.

I needed a competent deck contractor to replace two rotting joists on my rear deck. The deck companies I called were either too busy or did not do repairs. I then contacted Handyman Connection at the recommendation of a friend. They came out the same day, gave me a very fair estimate, and showed up the next morning to do the work. Lester Williams, the field supervisor, was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and strongly recommended that a permit be obtained, which was the right thing to do, even though it cost me extra (the fee was only a pass-through cost). The craftsman who did the work, Scott Chapman, was diligent and completed this fairly difficult job in about four hours. The results are as close to perfect as they can get.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work done and would recommend this company to anyone needing similar expertise.

The craftsman, Robert, arrived right on time and was very courteous and professional. He removed the old caulking from the counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms where the counters meet the wall. He applied new caulk all around and then cleaned up. Everything looks like new and I couldn't be happier. It was well worth the $103 charge! I have used Handyman Connection several times over the years and have always been extremely satisfied. I will continue to call them first and to recommend them at every opportunity.

Randy did a great job installing my reverse osmosis machine and re-caulking the bathtub. He was thorough and neat--did beautiful work--with a cheerful attitude even when the inevitable glitches came up. He even went beyond the call of duty and fixed up the caulking between the tub and linoleum! He gave me a heads-up on possible residue from the r.o. filters at first, which I really appreciated. I am thankful to have had him!

Bryan did an excellent job replacing a bathroom sink faucet. The house is over 53 years old and the faucet had never been replaced. Bryan encountered some challenges making a new faucet fit an old sink, but he managed to accomplish it.

I hired them to remove my old kitchen sink and replace it with a new one I'd bought. My craftsman, Bill K., was a really great guy who did exceptional work. He got the 30+ year-old 80+ pound sink out without scratching the counter top, and got the new sink to fit perfectly even though it had some different dimensions. I felt that the cost was very reasonable considering how tough the job was. This was my third or fourth time using Handyman Connection, and each time it's been a positive experience. When I moved into my recently purchased home there was an under cabinet/over the range microwave with vent. I cook a lot and that thing didn't move much air at all so I wanted to replace it with a 950cfm range hood. I called several Handyman companies and Handyman connection was the best communicator and returned call, showed up for a free estimate, and didn't balk at one of the difficulties of the project. Garrett and his partner Chuck were beyond awesome. Garrett figured out that venting was a bit of a challenge but he got it figured out. He custom built an under soffit box to house the vent exit and it looks perfect. Garrett and Chuck from Handyman Connection will be my go-to crew when and if I need anything else done. Paul was great! He was able to set an appointment less than a day in advance. He was honest by not selling us something we didn't need. He got a quote for us on the spot and was very professional. I highly recommend this company.

Jay was my craftman for this job, and he did a great job! The pergola on my deck was a victim of the wind storm last night, and it needed to be dismantled and removed. The service team set me up for same day service (which was very important as the pergola was about to collapse) and Jay was professional, quick, and easy to work with, as well as the job done well, materials removed, and area cleaned up (and he did some extra cleanup work because he's a nice guy). All in all -- it was a rough start to the day, but Jay and Handyman Connection came to the rescue!

I had such a good experience using Handyman Connection earlier this year to remodel two bathrooms in our home. Roger M. was our contractor and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado has been serving families with critically ill children for over 26 years. Since opening our doors on February 14th, 1987, over 8,000 families have called our House That Love Built their home-away-from-home while their child was receiving necessary medical care at nearby area hospitals. As you can imagine, combining those numbers with our 125 + year old House, we occasionally have needs for repair and restoration work.

Such was the case today. Unfortunately, recent heavy area rains found their way INSIDE, with a closet in need of drywall repair. I phoned Handyman Connection yesterday, and this morning, Helen G. arrived promptly at 9 am. She quickly assessed the repair and got to work. Moving quickly and efficiently, Helen professionally masked the carpet in the closet and removed the damaged paint and went about repairing the wall and ceiling beautifully.

Since writing this review last week, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado also had the privilege of meeting Mark from Handyman Connection this week. Coming out to paint/prime the area Helen had patched and repaired the week prior, Mark’s abilities dovetailed beautifully with Helen's work. Mark, too, arrived on time, got straight to work, and finished the area with precision and professionalism. In no time at all, the restoration of the affected area was completed.

Scott was here today for a plumbing problem. He called ahead to introduce himself, was on time & was very thorough. Found the problem & explained it to me & only took about 30 minutes.I would recommend their services to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience with one of their plumbers and a carpenter. Unfortunately, the quality went downhill after that. I had three appointments they totally blew off. The first one they just forgot. The second I got a call that the person was overwhelmed w a project. They apologized and booked me with a supervisor. The supervisor also no showed with no notice. When I tried to call their office, the line disconnected after a long hold. The line dropped right at 5 pm, when they close. Totally unprofessional.

Jason came over to fix a drainage issue I (Zachary) had today. He showed up just 30 minutes after calling and was done in about 10! He quickly identified the problem and took care of it. He also was able to help with an electrical issue that another Handyman was going to come later to fix.

Bryan Morin, a great plumber, just installed our new undersink water filter. Going above the call of duty, he made 2 trips to the plumbing supply store because the hardware that came with the filter didn't fit the unit at all. Even the tubing was too short. Bryan made sure to get the parts that work, will make changing filter cartridges easier and won't end up leaking. He really knows his stuff! We'll definitely be calling on Bryan again.

Dustin did some electrical work in three of my bedrooms and the work was excellent. He explained what he was doing and how he was going to do it and what I thought was going to be an all day job he finished in a few hours. He cleaned up after himself and was gone in a flash. What he charged was exactly the extimate he gave me and my wife and I are very satisfied with his work and his professionalism. I have more electrical work to do and I am definitely going to call him to do it and my son is moving will also use Handyman Connection for all our home projects.

I had three grab bars installed in my tub/shower area so I would have something to steady me when I shower.

I had excellent work done by Brian, the technician that installed four replacement outdoor lighting fixtures. He arrived directly at 8:30 a.m., and began an inspection to see how he would be able to do the work. Prior to installing anything, he explained what would need to be done. After agreeing, he gave me a price quote that I felt was very reasonable, then he began installing all of the lights. I had one light on each side of my garage installed, and then one next to my front and back doors. He wired the front door porch and garage lights so that they would come on with one switch. Next, he placed some clear silicone around the top of each fixture to prevent rain water from getting inside the fixture. Afterward, he cleaned up all the mess. I felt he was very professional in completing all the work, and I would be glad to have his help again.

I had Eric and Nathan do a complete new deck install they did a fine outstanding job if you need a deck call him. I am so pleased with my new deck .I t is everything I wanted and more! Very nice and Excellent work. I will be using this company again! I am so pleased with the work done .

David Turnupseed did an awesome job with a dry wall repair. Service was quick; came out the next business day. David fixed the dry wall in one trip. He used supplies that dried quickly so that he could fix, texture and paint in one stop. I wouldn't even know that the wall had a big (2' x 2') patch put into it. Writing this review as I am sitting here looking at my new beautifully installed mailbox all done by Jay Parmenter.

When I contacted Handyman Connection, I was at a total loss with my current handyman. He was committed to a big project and I was eager to get some extra help. When I first met Jay, I realized that he is a sincere, considerate, and honest man. He took on what he could and was honest about what he could not do. The estimate appointment was quick and pleasant. I decided to go with him to install my new mailbox. Nothing was unclear on next steps so I was pleased to get started.

Jay arrived on time and went straight to work (let me also add that this company does not do time frames, they arrive at the time that they are scheduled for which is a PLUS for me!). He exceeded my expectations from start to finish. From professionalism to project efficiency. He did run into a small issue because he needed more concrete for my mailbox stand but was transparent with the process so I was not worried at all.

Next time I need a job done I'm 100% requesting Jay. If you are looking for some general handyman work/small projects please consider him. I am very selective when it comes to continuing business relationships so hopefully this helps you if you are considering working with Handyman Connection.

A fantastic experience. I was met at my house by the Field Supervisor, Lester Williams, who explained everything that would happen. When the Craftsman, Randy Gregory, arrived we walked through my list of projects, they gave me an estimate which I was very happy with, and went to work. The jobs were completed quickly and professionally. I enjoyed speaking with both Lester and Randy, and will certainly ask for them again. As a matter of fact, I wish I would've called them sooner!

Dishwasher Installation. David T did some woodworking prep April 3rd. The work
was highly satisfactory and David showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up
before he left. I was very pleased with my lst experience with Handyman Connection
and would definitely use this company again.

Robert J. came out on April 19 to do an estimate related to the cabinet next to the
dishwasher opening. He returned on April 21st and completed the work in a very
satisfactory manner. He had to do some free lance work to fit everything in and his
experience was most valuable as the cabinet is now better than when we moved into
our home years ago. Again I am highly pleased with Handyman Connection and the
workmen we have had come to our home.

On April 24th the plumber Scott C came out to install the dishwasher since all the prep
work had been done by David and Robert. Scott completed our total satisfaction with
Handyman Connection as he was prompt, did the work quickly and checked the dishwasher
by running a rinse cycle through to be sure there were no leaks. He cleaned up and was
on his way to another appointment after completing our dishwasher installation after his
other colleagues had done the necessary prep work.

I would highly recommend Handyman Connection and the 3 employees who did our work and
would use this company again without reservation.

I (Thomas) had a few projects that David took care of for me. Very happy with the results.

Called to have a garage light replaced in the ceiling. I normally would do it myself but my ladder wasn't tall enough. Travis called to see if he could come early, which was really nice instead of just showing up early. He completed the job quickly and know what needed to be done. He cleaned up after himself and asked if he could take the broken light fixture and bulbs with him. I would request him again and recommend him to others with electrical needs.

Bryan was exactly on time, which was impressive since the job was somewhat urgent in my opinion, and other places would have probably marked it as not very important. He got here, got the job done in a timely matter, and I felt very comfortable leaving him to do his job while I stepped away to not bother him. He left everything clean when he left as well. Service was great and efficient, and I was very happy with the job that was done.

I have had Brian the Electrician out for a few updates & repairs in my home. He has always been courteous & professional. The work he has done in my home has been wonderful. No complaints here! I would recommend Brian & Handyman Connection without hesitation.

Excellent Administration follow-up.

I needed to have my stairwell painting finished (too high for me). When I made the first appointment, I told the woman I had to confirm the time on my calendar when I returned to my office. When I called back, I was on hold for over 5 mins so I took the VM option and confirmed it. When the appointment time came and went by 30 mins, I called. A different woman said that they had no appointment scheduled. I asked if anyone checked the voicemail...she didn't know. We made another appointment for the following day. Rodney called about 5 mins after the appointed time saying he was running late and would be another 20 mins. He arrived as promised. Very nice man. We chatted for a few minutes and I showed him the project. His estimate was $225 for up to 2 coats of paint that I provided. It took a total of 1.5 hours from his arrival to his leaving, including washing out his brush in my sink. He did one coat and I have to touch up a section where he went over into a slightly darker area. Overall pleased that this long-overdue project is finished...but $225? That's $150/hour. Steep.

I’m not surprised you can’t match my initials, you also couldn’t match a proper handyman for the job. My experience? I scheduled two weeks out, was bumped because you overbooked. On each call I reiterated that I needed trim and plumbing. I called the Friday prior to my scheduled appointment to reiterate both th at you were still coming and that you knew what I wanted. I received verbal confirmation. The handyman shows up on Monday...and only does toilets. It was worse than useless. You can’t put a toilet in and then the trim. You wasted two consecutive mondays..didn’t get the workman right and then gave me an estimate for over 500 dollars to install a toilet. 😀
I did call, whereupon I learned that a dispatcher would be coached. Except the failure was at every level. So scapegoating doesn’t work for me. A big thanks to dale Kahre who came out the next day and completed what, at that point, seemed to be an insurmountable task of installing trim, a toilet and a vanity. It was done in 7 hours by one person. Amazing. I would post picture of how beautiful it looks but that isn’t an option. Thank you dale Kahre of phd llc for your professionalism and most importantly, your listening skills.

Garrett Mooney and his assistants were on time and very, very polite and professional. I had a few changes to the jobs from what I had originally requested and they made the adjustments that I asked for cheerfully. They were meticulous in their work and, afterwords, cleaned up any and all debris. They even swept the sidewalk. The quality of the work itself was outstanding. The two jobs that I contracted for were not particularly cheap ( I am seventy five years old and everything now days seems expensive to me) so I expected to receive good value for my money. Garrett and his assistants not only met, but exceeded, my expectations. I would very strongly recommend Garrett without reservations of any kind. The Handyman Connection personnel were also extremely professional and sent me advance reminders of the appointments and advance notices when the workers were on the way. They followed up afterwords to be sure that I was satisfied. It was a first rate experience all the way around. I will definitely contact them again for any future work that I need done.

The craftsman, Randy, arrived on time for his appointment. He is always very professional and courteous. He helped me with my woodpecker problem. He did a phenomenal job. He had no complaints and was very efficient in putting CDs on my roof. I will always recommend Handyman Randy.

Gina made it look simple to reinforce an outdoor gate leading into an enclosure where my cats hang out. It's not your typical small job and she had to wing most of it. It came out just as I had imagined and now is extremely secure and safe for my fur babies. One of my cats was just found after being gone for 5 days. That can never happen again, and, thanks to Gina, nothing will get in or out!

Paul A., plumber, first installed four new Kohler toilets for us about four years ago, and today repaired a difficult water leak in our walkout basement. He is a superb technician, efficient and thorough with every job, punctual, neat, and honest. We give Paul our very highest recommendation! Recently I called Handyman Connection to have some trim and molding work redone from a recent job a different contractor did. The person that Handyman Connection sent out was Der. What a breath of fresh air. He was very professional without being overbearing. He listened to what we wanted and made a few very good suggestions of his own. He answered the questions we had for him. He wrote down the measurements; gave us an estimate of how long it would take and then called the office to get us a price for the labor. I asked about a senior discount which they also gave us. They were able to get us on the schedule for him in two days. He arrived on time; did what he said and asked for input while the work was in progress. His work ethic was excellent as was his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone. This is not the first time I have used Handyman connection and recommend them and the workers we have had.

James did a fantastic job with what needed to be fixed in a bedroom. I would recommend him for sure!

The drywall estimator showed up for the appointment and spent 45 minutes measuring, going over details, and taking pictures. He said I would have the estimate within 24 hours, but I never heard back from them. I called several days later asking when I would see the estimate, and they said they would look into it and get it sent to me. Still no estimate. I don’t understand why this person would spend so much time and effort going over the job and then never send me an estimate. Very unprofessional!

We've used Brian twice in the last month - the first time to install a light fixture in our vaulted ceiling and the second time to bring our electrical sub-panel up to code. Brian is very professional and friendly and we highly recommend him.

We had Jason F out here for two different jobs over two days. One was a garbage disposal removal/installation and the other was a siding fix on our house. Jason was very friendly and professional! He arrived both times on time and explained everything he would be doing. All repairs were done perfectly and all cleanup was done. Nathan Evans redid my concrete. He spent much time and energy on the project, and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend him for future use.

I had a simple job to be done in a unit I own in Oakville. Electrical outlets were to be fixed or replaced, a door was to be replaced and holes patched. The electrician did his job. However the other handyman was a nightmare. He made a pass at my tenant's daughter. I paid for a door that was obviously not new and he couldn't produce all the receipts. The door he installed didn't fit and he cut it unevenly. It looks worse than the original door! I am still waiting for handyman connection to fix his mess.

How any company can consider this behaviour and workmanship acceptable is baffling. They should have insisted on providing a new door. Instead I am constantly sending reminder emails to try to get this corrected.

I was having trouble with a group of light switches in my older home. The electrician, Brian, was able to diagnose the issue and fix the fault.

I am very satisfied with the results. 1 contractor and 3 other electricians from other companies were unable to resolve the issue.

Made appointment 30 days out as that was the soonest they could do. When I made the appointment I told them I needed the ceiling painted and moulding installed on 2 floors including stairs. The morning of the appointment HMC called me to say that the appointment was the 30th when I actually had the email that showed it was the 29th. In addition they asked the square footage of the project which I replied 1500. The person on the phone said they only do small to medium jobs and would not be able to quote the job that I was told could be done previously. After waiting 30 days for a quote the appointment was incorrectly scheduled and 1500 sq ft was too large of a job for them even though the size was communicated from the start.

Made an appointment through home advisor to fix my door frames. Jason came out did an estimate and a hour later he was replacing my doors. Very professional and the job was done right. I will call the Handyman Connections again.

Kudos to Don Robertson. He installed two grab bars in the bath area and performed to excellence. My wife who is just getting over a stroke was able to stand and shower using the grab bars. Thank you Don!

Bryan Morin fixed my pressure issues by replacing a defective reducing valve, adding a second valve and streamlining the pipes leading to the sprinkler system. It was all done quickly and reasonably.

Craftsperson Joe Puch removed and replaced window trim fascia boards that had deteriorated over time. The work was exceptionally well done. Joe carefully explained the repair steps and reasons for them. He did so at various points in the work progress. His work was meticulous. His manner was professional, polite and personable, right from punctual arrival to final clean-up of the work area. One of the best experiences I've ever had with a home services/repair contractor. Highly recommended.

The handyman, Scott, that showed up was very professional and did a walk through. We needed 11 curtain rods and two garage storage racks hung. My jaw nearly hit the floor when they submitted the quote, $1100 and it couldn't be completed today. After accepting the cost and being ok with it, as we just needed it done, the it can't be completed today was what created this customer sat issue.

We were originally scheduled to have the work completed last Friday. They called Thursday at 6PM and indicated the assigned handyman was not going to be able to show up, due to weather delaying their previous job. You mean the 70+ degree weather we've been having? That delayed it? They rescheduled for today and I took another day off from work, only to be told it can't be completed today.

Per the pricing, 11 windows at 30 minutes per and we'll give them an hour per overhead storage in the garage. That's 7.5 hours at $146/per hour. Not to be disparaging towards handymen/women across the country, but $146/hour are lawyer fee monies and no one I know likes paying lawyers or lawyer fees.

So, in closing, the experience was terrible, they ruined two vacation days and attempted to use a modern day form of extortion. I only wish I could charge that sort of money and waste people's time.

I was having an electrical problem with an unknown source. Dustin, from Handyman Connection, was awesome! He was on time, very easy to work with and took the time to explain what was going on. When it was apparent that Springs Utilities needed to be called in, he made the call for me and came back to be there when they arrived. I have had multiple jobs done with Handyman Connection. The smaller jobs went well. I was put on a schedule, sent reminder notifications and those jobs carried through with no problems. The larger project involving insurance was a complete nightmare. Had my siding repaired by them from the last hail storm and that took almost a year to complete! Had multiple craftsmen assigned by this company in efforts to finish my siding. One craftsman told me one thing and the other said another. Too much back and fourth. The very last craftsman, Eric who was sent to complete the siding work was very condescending towards me and I felt disrespected in my own home. I mentioned a part of the work that was not completed and they said that was not part of the estimate even though the first craftsman (not Eric) is who included it in the scope of work to be completed. That will not be fixed unless I want to create a whole new work order. Autumn, who works in the office is great! She made many efforts to try to get this work completed for me. She followed through with any emails and phone calls. She is your go to! Overall, if you are looking for small jobs around the house this may be a go to. Anything that involves insurance or large scale projects, forget it. As much business as I have given this company and the way things at the end were handled and even the way I was treat was unsatisfactory. The only reason I will return business to them is because of Autumn!

He surveyed the task of restretching the bedroom carpet and gave me a quote for the job.
On a snowy day he even wore booties to keep the mud off the carpet.
After I accepted the quote, he brought in about $700 worth of tools and removed the wrinkle [and about 2 inches of too much carpet].

It was easy to search and find on the internet. As soon as I found this website, I made a phone call and had a service technician on the phone. I described my issue with them and within moments had a technician on the way to my home. When he arrived I showed him our sliding glass door that was dragging, very hard to open and close. After calling a few different handyman agencies this was the only one even slightly confident in fixing my problem. They send out Jerry, who came as soon as he was done with his last job, who was able to fix my problem and teach me a little about my sprinkler system and how to trouble shoot any further problems! They were great and we will be using them again in the future.

I've also had Matt out who exceeded my expectations on bringing a dangerously wired workbench in my basement up to electrical code. Finally, Bill did an excellent job checking for a leak and patching a hole in my ceiling. So far, my experience indicates that Handyman Connection hires very responsible, professional people to do their work. I'll use these guys again and would recommend them to anybody!

I recently had the plumbing system replaced in one of my toilets by Handyman Craftsman Bryan Morin. The job was challenging in that the toilet was located such that access to the tank was restricted. I called for a painter to come out with a very short deadline. They could not accommodate my limited schedule, BUT the customer service was Excellent! Multiple dates were checked and the rep was honestly apologetic that we couldn’t connect. I will 100% call the connection in the future.

I contacted Handyman Connection to have a replacement sink garbage disposal installed. The service man arrived right on time, was quite polite and did a highly competent job with the installation. The total time to accomplish the installation was 1.75 hours at a cost of $243 after a $27 deduction as a repeat customer. That is $139 an hour labor cost. I needed the disposal replaced so I approved the work to be done. However, I think that this level of labor expense is excessive and as such will think much longer about contacting Handyman Connection in the future.

Brian was prompt and knowledgeable. He completed the installation of our garbage disposal quickly and neatly. Based on this experience and others with Handyman Connection, I will continue to call them when needed and recommend them to my friends.

This is my second time consulting with Handyman Connection. The first time was due to some squeaking in my hardwood flooring of my 1950's ranch style home. Two different craftsman came out to evaluate the situation. Each thoroughly evaluated my problem, even going under the house into the crawl space to inspect the subflooring. Unfortunately, they were unable to address my issue and I decided that a squeaky floor isn't so bad after all. Although I chose not to correct my problem, I was happy with each of their detailed evaluations. More recently, I purchased a 0Vib platform for my full-sized stackable washer and dryer and needed it installed. This work was a lot of heavy lifting in a small confined space. Dave and his helper did a great job of getting the job done at a reasonable price.

Mark was very prompt, he called to see if he could come early. He was very knowlegable and friendly. He completed the job in a timely matter and cleaned up afterword.

I had an outstanding experience with my craftsman who performed the work at my house in a two segment arrangement, first in November to hang Christmas lights at my residence, and then today, January 21, 2013, to remove them following the end of the season. Davey was excellent, making sure the work was done well, and in a timely and efficient manner. He was courteous, and offered suggestions as needed but never was pushy. I have used Handyman Connection for a variety of home repair and maintenance projects for quite a few years and have always been pleased with both the workmanship and cost of the services. Jason F. was recently assigned to remove and install a replacement patio door and I could not be more pleased with the job. His attention to detail and creativity in resolving a fitting problem with my chosen replacement door is not something that the big box stores would have even bothered to address. I will absolutely call on them when I pull my next project out of my job jar!

I was delightfully surprised by the quality of the work provided by Bart of Handyman Connection. I needed to have the lower level of my walkout rancher framed, dry-walled, and corner bead installed for my wood working shop. (This is my retirement hobby.) I also wanted to have the mudding, priming and painting completed as well. However, due to my desire to pay cash for all the work I couldn't do it all at one time. Handyman Connection worked with me and broke the project into two phases.

The first phase was framing and hanging of the drywall. Bart and his assistant moved my equipment very carefully to allow themselves sufficient area in which to work. They were very respectful of my property and tools, which was deeply appreciated. They offered a couple of suggestions that were included in the framing of one outside wall that helped to make the workshop much more user friendly.

I found their work to be very professional in quality and proved that they were proficient in their craft. They took their time to assure that the work was accomplished properly. At all times they were courteous. Bart was friendly and proved himself to be a trustworthy individual. He brought his own tools and was very careful to keep them separated from mine.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bart and his assistant to my friends and neighbors or Handyman Connection for this type of work. I was completely satisfied with the work.

Many thanks to Electrician and Lighting Pro Dustin! We requested him by name for a job yesterday because he did another fantastic job for us about 5 years ago, and once again he has worked his magic. He understands aesthetics as well as wiring! We are thrilled. He did a great job and the results look wonderful. He is a go-to guy on whom you can rely!

First of all, let me say I've never had any concerns or issues with the work of the people from this company; it was quick, efficient and the quality of it was excellent. Based on the quality of the work alone, I'd be happy to rate this 5 stars, and I don't give those out lightly.

My complaint is with management; my experience with them doesn't warrant better than 2. I don't appreciate trying to contact them to schedule more work, with a company I've never had a problem with, only to be told that we've been flagged for some mysterious reason that they can't tell me right away, and they'll have a manager call us back to discuss it.

A week later with no apparent callback, and after four separate attempts on our part to re-engage, we finally find out why. I cannot honestly say I necessarily disagree with their reason, but I am severely disappointed that it took so long to find out, as well as the fact that these concerns were *never* raised to us before.

We've been informed that once you address the issue, we'll be happy to reevaluate. Well, congratulations, you've just lost at least one customer due to your apparent refusal to engage.

We have done business with Handyman many times but Brian who is an electrician came out to do the work and it went so smoothly that we are planning other projects that would include Brian and his expertise.Thank Brian for your help.

My name is Cory and we had Dave come in and put a door into the entrance of our basement. I called on Saturday and he was at our home giving us an estimate 30 minutes later.

He finished the work in a timely matter and did an excellent job. Extremely professional and friendly. Already have plans to use Dave and the Handyman Connection again for future projects.

My mother had handyman connection install a fridge, garbage disposal, and a dishwasher. The fridge and the stop under the sink were leaking for two weeks before she noticed now she's looking at fixing a damaged floor due to their work. My mother called them to let them know it was leaking and the lady on the phone told her they wouldn't be able to come by that day to fix the leak. The guy who worked on her house called her back and pretty much told her he did the install two weeks prior and that ifvit wasn't his fault they would charge her more money on top of the 600 they charged her to set appliances and for the garbage disposal! These guys caused major damage to my moms house that she just purchased. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.

Recently had a tile flooring job thru HC, and it was excellently done. Still happy with the company.

Six months later, had another (different) door squaring/latching service call, this time with Michael M., who on the spot had the door quickly latching as it should. Another very satisfying experience with Handyman Connection.

Dik was very fastidious in getting my back door and storm door re-squared within the door frame, as much as was possible given the state and specifics of the frame. The storm door couldn't latch on its own at all before, and now latches just like it should. Another handyman company in town gave me an estimate for 4 times the cost of Handyman Connection. Dik was personable, seemed to genuinely care about the alignment issue with my doors, and put sincere effort into his work. I would recommend this company to anyone, from my experience.

Called about needing a toilet fixed. Scheduling the appointment was easy. Did a video diagnostic with the plumber. Diagnostic went smoothly. When the plumber showed for the appointment, he had everything he needed because of being able to do the video diagnostic. Brian got everything done smoothly and completely. Toilet works! And the price was decent.

Went to this company to get an estimate on my deck. After they rescheduled my appointment, from a in-person appointment to a virtual appointment, I was told that staining my deck would cost $4,000. When the other three estimates I received were under $2,000.

Edit: Having seen the reply from this company, I would give them less than one star. They did not actually respond to my criticism, which was that they quoted me twice the price of at least three other companies. Companies I would like to add who have been more professional, with equal level of experience and work guarantee. All three of those companies have been easier to work with and more polite than anyone I talked to at Handyman connection. If you have a choice, do not use this company. They are unprofessional and overpriced

Ray from Handyman Connections has come out to my house to help resolve a leak from my roof, his professionalism, his willingness to dig into the issue and provide alternatives has been fantastic. I would highly recommend Ray anytime!

Handyman Connection was hired to take care of a water problem in one of our window wells. After several attempts, the problem is worse than before and they refuse to acknowledge that this was not a job they should have accepted. It was outside their area of expertise. We have used them in the past but will no longer use them or recommend them to others.

Brian installed an outlet. The price and work was good. Will request him for next time.

I needed my walk-in shower completely redone and Gina did a fabulous job. The new tile she installed is absolutely beautiful! Gina is a fine craftsman and I would highly recommend her. We recently had Brian (electrician) out to replace several light fixtures, including installing a very heavy chandelier that took some creative brainstorming. Brian was excellent and we couldn't be happier. He is very professional along with being friendly and offering great ideas for mounting, height of light, etc. We would highly recommend him and will be requesting him again in the future!

I had a contract with these people to repair my broken fence gate and to restain my entire fence. The agreed price was $1200 in labor plus supplies which is outrageous for a gate repair and staining 100 ft of fence. The repair and work was performed on time however the quality has yet to amaze me. During the wash down, our handyman missed several spots and lazily stained over them. The finished product is subpar and incomplete. The fence on the outside of the house remains yet to be cleaned and stained. Including fence boards that my handyman installed and are bare without stain to this moment! I dont understand how you would want to advertise your company on my front lawn for work that hasnt been completed and with poor quality workmanship!

Reached out to them for a quote on some work and they never returned my call. Guess they were either too busy or the project was too small to their liking.

We needed a new water heater and Brian (plumber) did an excellent job. He was very thorough. We had also gotten him to fix some pipes when out kitchen was remodeled and then later install a new bathtub. He always did excellent work. We will definitely call for him again, should we need more work done.

On May 2 Dustin came out to my home to give me an estimate on installing a whole house fan. After finally getting the fan, Dustin did the install and I was very pleased. He was professional and cleaned up the work space when he was done.

Jason came out to finish up some trim and put in pocket door hardware. Everything was done perfectly and would not hesitate to call him back again.

Justin and Eric removed an old wooden window well and replaced it with a galvanized steel well. They arrived on time and got the job done in just 4 hours. They did an outstanding job with installation and cleaned up the mess. They also packed down the dirt around the well nice and tight.

Our handyman, Brian, arrived ahead of schedule. He installed a very high ceilling fan in the master bedroom. After seeing the finished product, I was not pleased with the size and height of the ceiling fan. I asked Brian to switch it out with the ceiling fan in the living room. He changed out both fans and it looks great! Due to the height and slope of the celiing I could have never done the job myself. I will continue to use handyman connections in the future and request Brian for our handyman.

This is the second time that we have used Handyman Connection, and more specifically, Scott the Plumber! The experience was positive enough when he installed our 75 gallon water heater on the day we purchased our home, that we specifically requested him for the install of a hot water recirculation pump. He was prompt, courteous, cleaned up after himself, and came in UNDER estimated cost!!! Add to that, his estimate was lower then the other 2 bids I received, and I didn't need to explain how a water recirculation pump works to him (unlike one of the other local plumbers who will not be stepping into my home again). Overall, a 5++ star rating, and well deserved. His years of experience and professionalism were refreshing.

Our handyman - Brian - showed up for our appointment AHEAD of schedule. He was extremely informative about parts we were missing, and helped us by specifically telling us what parts we needed to purchase to complete the job. He installed five (5) ceiling fans - and they look TERRIFIC! We have asked for Brian to come back and help us with some other projects around the house. Great job!!

I had Ivan and Roy come out to the house and do sheet wall work, an outdoor fire pit falling apart. Our bannister was about to come off and they stabilized it. We had what I thought was water rot to a portion of wood next to the water drain on the roof. The wood was still intact so they fixed that. Everything looks brand new. Customer service is the best. I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable and nice they were. Total professionals, I can’t recommend Handyman services enough. Rose on the phone helped coordinate everything and was super nice. If you need something done around the house I can’t recommend them enough.

Bryan M did plumbing work for us and we are very impressed. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We have used Bryan multiple times and are always very satisfied!

Booked a free estimate for some very simple drywall installation, they cancel their estimate 1.5 days before and ask if we can send photos so they can send a free estimate. After providing extremely detailed information, they say that the project is too complex to even roughly estimate and they needed to send a craftsmen out at a charge of $50. So....to sum up, they cancelled, wasted my time, then tried to charge for their free estimate of a simple project.

Had to wait about 2 weeks for an appointment and the were late so I called and they said it was cancelled and they didn't have any availability for another 5-6 days. Absolute trash customer service. First lady said that she wanted to schedule me with a specific person because she though they would be the best for the job. Clearly they were wrong and wasted about 2 weeks of my time. Do not recommend.

Just called and asked for an estimate to install a new screen door. This is pretty straightforward and the cost is clearly advertised on Lowes/Home Depots websites but the girl who answered the phone was snarky about giving an estimate and told me I would have to go to the property (rental) to meet with someone for them to tell me how much it would cost.

Mark was wonderful. We had a very unique problem which he help us trouble shoot. Even though we were unable to resolve he gave some very helpful suggestions. He spent extra time explaining and working though trouble shooting with me. Mark was very professional and helpful.

Paul came out to do some plumbing work for us. I had a different plumber come out and estimate the same job Paul did. The other plumber said the entire stem needed to be replaced but Paul was able to diagnose a bad seal on the outside water faucet and when he replaced the seal the leak was gone. Saved us a lot of effort and money. He also found an additional issue we needed to solve and he stayed true to his first price he quoted us and only charged us for the additional parts necessary. These guys are as honest and experienced at their craft as you can hope to find. I will not hesitate to call handyman connection again the next time I need work done on my home.

I called Handyman Connection to have a craftsman install a point of us hot water tank under my kitchen sink do I would not have to run water so long to get hot water to come out of the faucet. I explained the problem to Bryan when he arrived. Fortunately I had not purchased the hot water tank. Brian had a much better solution: a hot water re- circulation pump attached to the main Hot Water Tank. Thanks Bryan for having a better solution and a great job of installation! Mick

We had purchased our first home 10 days before Christmas and what seemed to be an exciting time turned into a nightmare (well that's what we thought before Handyman Connection came out to help)!. My husband is in the military and left for Christmas leave, so we were not in our house until we came back shortly after the New Year. While we were gone, it had gotten extremely cold, the pipes had burst our first night in our new home, and we had a quite a bit of water damage throughout the house. Scott was awesome and came out immediately the next morning for an emergency repair, and for that alone we were truly grateful! We had several pipes replaced and our water up and running by that afternoon. He continued to make numerous trips to make sure all of our never-ending issues were fully resolved from all the damage that had occurred. I would also like to ackowledge Dustin, who was awesome as well and fixed one of our big electrical issues! We are now working with David and Mark who are repairing our flooring and drywall damages within the next few weeks. The prices are very reasonable and the contractors have worked with us to make this disaster as painless as possible. First of all I set an appointment for 10am. Guy calls and comes at 830am! I work nights at the hospital!!! Which I told them. 2nd, I need a large mirror hung up. Which is simple for a man. Guy comes and tells me it will be a 2 man job and it will be 200$$$. Ummm I got the mirror here! up a flight of stairs, by myself, as a woman....Rip off woman much?? 3rd, My father does construction but lives in another state. I can't imagine how many people they have ripped off because people don't know prices. Conclusion: Hope you get a 2nd opinion people.

Ron and Robert repaired a post on our deck that had deteriorated which was covered by James Hardie siding. They were able to remove the fragile siding replace the post reinstall the siding and you can't tell it is not original. Highly recommended this company to have things done right.

We needed to raccoon proof our garage and have two open patches repaired on the drywall inside.

I submitted a detailed description with photos for a quote. Instead of calling me or sending me a detailed email, I only received a text. Personally, I feel it is bad business to send a text out as the first primary contact, unless it is specifically asked in the submission whether a customer prefers phone, email or text. I did call them after the text came through, with hesitancy, as the phone number did not match their website and I didn't want to be scammed. I mentioned that not all people like doing business via text, and the guy on the phone immediately responds Really, everyone I speak to has told me they prefer text. Then, being that I already sent a very detailed description of what I wanted done, it seemed the person hadn't really truly read through it all, because they seemed to not realize the task was pretty cut and dry, and having someone come out to give a quote would not not have made sense, for a basic assembly project, when a video, and photos and instructions were already sent. Then the guy said ok, and that he'd contact the handymen and get back to me. Now a week went by and I never heard back from them. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL company.

He also replaced the bathroom faucet that was leaking, and installed a new garbage disposer. I had Lester come out and he was early and very friendly. The door I bought for the job was a bit to bulky but Lester let me know we could take care of things with no problems. He was able to shave it down to the right size and everything worked great! Will definitely refer services and will call again for any handy man services needed.

Plumbing services involved removing the old broken pull-down sprayer faucet and replacing it with a new Delta Saville style faucet and soap dispenser. Brian M. was very professional, courteous, and efficient, and timely. He provided the best plumbing services, at a reasonable price. Coulden't ask for better service. We had two jobs done - a ceiling fan installed by Bruce & his assistant, and then a little drywall repair done by Garrett & his assistant. First of all, I can’t speak highly enough of the problem-solving skills and time that Bruce put into figuring out how the fan could be installed. He did a great job, and when Garrett came to finish off the drywalling, he commented on what a good job had been done on cutting & replacing the drywall. Consequently, his drywall finishing job was beautiful - you can’t see where the drywall was cut at all. We were worried about how this all would look once it was finished, but the results exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the excellent craftsmanship.

I inherited my house from my grandparents and it’s about 60 years old. We recently decided to redo our entire kitchen and the electrical was a MESS! We had light switches that should’ve be other places, wires that went all over and some that went nowhere, random boxes that were covered, etc. We called Handyman Connection and they were able to have Brian come to the house the same day we call to give us an estimate. It’s hard being without a kitchen especially with 2 small children so we were very grateful that he could come so fast. Do not trust these guys! A friend of mine had them showing up at his door and lying to him, telling him that they were another contractor who actually had an appointment. Then they hid who they were and tried to sell him on his roof. These are the type that give good contractors a bad name.

I have used the Handyman Connection twice. The first time Dave Johnson came and installed a door for me. He was friendly and had decades of experience to offer. Most recently I had a new garbage disposal installed. Bryan Morin came and did a timely install and it works perfectly! I trust both of the professionals they sent and will use this service again.

Called Handyman Connections for a few repairs to drywall and to replace the caulking around our bathtub. Mark Hamann came out within two hours, assessed, and began the work right there! What a fantastic craftsman! The patches look like there were never holes there to begin with and our bathtub is now leak free!! Mark was very courteous, thorough, and extremely polite! I have hired Handyman Connection (HC) on many occasions since I purchased my home. I bought new appliances last year and needed to get some valves upgraded so that the new dishwasher could be connected properly without leaks. I called HC and Brian Morin came out and put the new valves in. Later when the contractor came to put in the dishwasher I was told that the valves were leaking and I needed to get the plumber back. Brian came back and looked at the valves and to both our surprise there were no leaks. You can imagine how embarrassed I was to have to ask him to come back and then realize it was for nothing. He was so gracious and I really appreciated that. Brian has done numerous plumbing jobs for me since then and each time he made sure that he got the needed parts for me before he started the jobs. When he came back today to hook up my ice and water for the refrigerator he made sure to ask me if everything he had previously done was working okay. I really appreciate the follow up and his expertise. He is a great plumber and Handyman Connection is lucky to have him.

I used Handyman Connection a couple times and had a great experience with them. The people they sent out were very professional and friendly. We had a garage door framed out and a new exterior door put in. All the work was completed quickly and at a reasonable rate. The quality of the work was excellent and I would definitely recommend them.

Jason worked on two different projects for us this past week, and we are very pleased with both the results and Jason's professionalism. I used Handyman connection today knowing nothing about the company and am so happy that I did. Randy Osterholt went above and beyond to help me get the repair done and was able to explain to me the process and what the VA inspector was wanting fixed. Scott Carnahan was here to install a gas cooktop we purchased at a local store. He was very thorough and discovered quickly that this particular cooktop wasn't compatible with the space we had available. He explained the problem and what we specifically needed to do to fix it. He didn't charge for his visit and was very helpful answering some plumbing questions we had as well. We were impressed with him and decided to have him back to do some plumbing work we needed. We will be using Scott and Handyman services again.

Handyman Connection had the best price and provided the fastest service. I needed my fence fixed after the windstorm. From the estimate to the repair it was done in about 2 weeks! Everywhere else was a month or more, plus was charging higher. They craftsman they sent was thorough, honest, and very professional. I would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Jason Frye from Handyman Connection removed seven old doors and installed seven new doors and trim. He was very professional and explained everything that he was doing. I had 3 different people from Handyman Connection to do some small Jobs around the house. Dave Wilcox installed a storm door, Brian Nipp installed some motion sensor lights, and Helen Gallagher repaired a hole in our dry wall. They were all FANTASTIC! They were on time, efficient, very nice (i.e. personable) and I will ask for them by name the next time I need help.

Don was awesome! He arrived on time & replaced and installed a ceiling fan. All was done in a timely manner. I also appreciate how quickly Handyman Connection was able to respond and set up the appointment so quickly. Will certainly recommend!

Have used Handyman Connection in the past and will use them again. Had leak in wall on the cold water side and had to shut water off. They were very fast getting here and fixing the leak. Very reasonable price for repair.

This is my first time contacting handyman connection and this will not be the last. I contacted them to remove the kitchen cabinet above my fridge since to me its pointless to have a cabinet that I can never reach it. The handyman Tony called me and he was on time. It was supposed to be an estimate only but since I needed it so bad Tony has time to do it and within 30 mins the kitchen cabinet is out! I am so happy that I contacted them.

Chris Rudnick: A Knowledgeable and Affable Gentleman

I cannot sing enough praises about Mr. Chris Rudnick from Handyman Connection. He was probably the fifth person who inspected a damaged area in our bathroom, but he was the first who knew exactly what the problem was. Once we understood the scope of the task, Mr. Rudnick gave us an extremely reasonable estimate, which was (I kid you not!) about one sixth the amount quoted by another company. As he promised, the job took three days, and the bathroom looks even better than it did before the damage.

Mr. Rudnick constantly communicated to me about his progress. I could tell that he deeply cares and is extremely passionate about his work. He answered all my questions very patiently and also offered many useful tips for maintenance. I would recommend Handyman Connection, and the highly affable and knowledgeable Mr. Chris Rudnick in particular, to anyone in a heartbeat.

Our technician came out to patch our ceiling in (2) different places and he actually found another leak that we didn't know about so he held off patching the one area that had the leak and also didn't have special materials for the patch of ceiling in the garage so he asked if it would be okay to wait to finish up that patch when he came back after we got the leak he found fixed. He wanted to do the job correctly and did amazing work!! He was also very courteous and pleasant!! Thanks Handyman Connection!! :)

Had a scheduled appointment for an estimate, and they never showed up. Called, texted, and email no response. After several days finally got a hold of them. When I started to inquire what had happened the lady started laughing. Would give them ZERO stars if I could.

My response: You say had to reschedule,
but you didn't. There was no call or message left. I called and texted at 4:15 and 4:30, no a swer no reply. When I spoke to someone finally, no apology or anything, your customer service person just started laughing when I started asking what had happen.

We use Handyman Connection for almost any issue with our house. We trust them, they are fast, and never try to upsell. Dustin recently fixed our electrical problem, and did a great job! We will continue to use them all the time!

We use Handyman Connection for almost anything that needs done. We have used Paul as our plumber twice now and would not use anyone else. He is a consumate professional and has done things correctly where others have failed.

We needed to have an electrical outlet placed above our fireplace to accommodate a new large screen TV. After setting our appointment, Brian Nipp was our Handyman electrician sent out. I appreciated that he called to say he was on his way. When Brian arrived, he listened to what we needed, thoroughly explained the most efficient way to do it, and gave us a reasonable estimate for the job. Brian was so patient when we didn't have all the particular measurements for the job, and even spoke to the store where we purchased the TV to get the proper details to complete the outlet. I would definitely use Handyman Connection again and ask for Brian!

I don't normally post reviews, I was definitely impressed today. Service was outstanding got a quote and work done same day. I was very impressed with the quote it was, well thought out and easy to understand. I will be using this company again in the future.

I had two areas of hardwood that needed refinishing in my house. The person that Handyman sent out arrived with a palm sander as his main tool, I should have stopped him right there, but he was from Handyman so I let him continue (we have used Handyman for other things). After 3 days he was still sanding. I left for work on the third day and when I arrived home later that night I found he had hastily placed a light stain on the wood (I had asked for at least a medium dark stain). The stain was wiped off so fast that most areas looked like bare wood (stain needs time to soak in, so it is normally left on for 20-40 minutes before wiping off). he had also walked on the finish while it was wet and left foot prints that dried in the finish. There were thousands of gouges in the wood from using the palm sander on it’s edge and also deep scratches from sanding across the grain. I called Handyman and they sent an inspector out to review the work. The inspector was brutally honest, saying “we could have had some teenage kids with sandpaper on their shoes do a better job than this.” They then hired a professional outside company to redo the work. This person arrived with the right equipment, a very big floor sander. After a few days this person started complaining about his back and the job started to be rushed. The stain was completely wrong again and again not allowed to soak into the wood for any time at all. The net result were bare spots, lightly stained spots and some areas that actually looked pink! Worst of all was the finish, placed on so thin that the end result was dull, not shiny, and not smooth, like it had been lightly sanded. I called again and this time they said either I pay them or they were going to put a lien on my house. We negotiated the price down and I just went ahead and paid them to get them off my back. Several months later I learned why the refinishers kept putting light to no stain on the wood. We hired another company to come and refinish and when the darker stain was applied, all the thousands of gouges and scratches reappeared due to the darker stain soaking into all the damaged areas. The people Handyman used were applying light to no stain in order to hide the damage that was never repaired! After all this time, we now have tile over the damaged wood in the entryway, we ended up removing the entire floor in the other area and putting in tile. Handyman does some good work, but don’t let them touch your floors, they ruined mine.

Jay Parmenter came out today to quote us for some areas that need flashing in our house. I enjoyed his visit, felt like he listened and took his time, and that he had good solutions without trying to upsell us. Would recommend!

Handyman Connection personnel were all professional, well organized and arrived on time. It took only a couple of days to remodel my two bathrooms. They replaced vanities, medicine cabinets, lighting, installed new wall cabinets and replaced my old plumbing connections in both rooms. One room had the floor replaced.

The initial estimate of work was very reasonable to me. From the demo to the final cleanup each tech performed their duties efficiently.

After making my appointment, I received an email confirming the time and telling me who my craftsman would be. I also received a phone called from the craftsman, Bill, telling me that he was on his way. Bill was wonderful to deal with. I showed him the various things I needed done in my house, including one I had not originally scheduled. In a few moments, he gave me an estimate, which I approved.
I could not have been happier with the results! In one short morning, Bill took care of everything that had been nagging at me for months. I had a hall bathroom completely remodeled. Rodger M. did a fantastic job from start to finish. He was personable, arrived on time and cleaned up everything before he left everyday. Last Summer we had Russ from Handyman Connection remodel our master bath, replacing the fixtures and plumbing, installing new tile flooring and putting in a handicap friendly shower. He did beautiful tile and detail work and all of the prep work and followup was top quality. We get lots of compliments on the bathroom. Russ is very professional, friendly, and trustworthy. He had to be quite tolerant and adaptable in our busy, chaotic household, filled with kids and dogs. Now we are having him back to redo the main bathroom.

The electrician, Bruce, was punctual, courteous, and neat. He offered to wear shoe covers while in my home (a first in my experience). He completed a ceiling fan installation in my bedroom’s cathedral ceiling (several feet higher than the typical ceiling). This necessitated an oblong cut through the drywall, which he did so neatly that one can barely see it. He had alerted me beforehand that he couldn’t repair the drywall, so there was no misunderstanding. Fan works perfectly & he cleaned up all the mess. Also important to mention: he was the only electrician I could find who would do a small home-based job. Two made appointments & didn’t show. About 6 others said they didn’t do small jobs. So I am doubly grateful & will gladly recommend Handyman for home electrical jobs. Ask for Bruce.

Nathan Evans was on time and conscientious. He explained what he was going to do and kept me informed about his progress. I was very pleased that he used ground covers to keep the area clean. He discovered that a drywall panel was installed incorrectly and he did his best to reinforce it. I would like Nathan to return for my next drywall project!

I just had David Turnupseed at my house to fix two toilets that were leaking both upstairs and downstairs. The toliet upstairs was leaking and caused a hole in the ceiling downstairs. David came and was very proffesional both in the evaluation and the repair. David was Quick and thourough. I love the work he did and the wife was happy to have her bathrooms back in order. I have to say I am pleased to have my toliet back in working condition, no more running downstairs. I cannot say enough about David, he even clened up after himself, I had to do some minor cleaning in the bathrooms but other then that it was a great job, believe me if I have any other work to be done I will call HandyMan Connection for any further jobs being done in my home and I will requesr David if at all possible. We needed to fix our plumbing under the bathroom sink quickly. This guy had wrong address and gave my husband attitude of us not answering the door. We decided to hire him to do the work anyway bcz it was just easy for us since we are selling the house. He has no personality and was rude. He didn’t seem like he wants to work at all. It took only 20mins to fix the easy plumbing. And charged us almost $300 for it. If i knew it was only gonna take 20mins, i would have not hired this company especially the guy was extremely rude and not very friendly at all. I won’t use this company in the future.

My Mailbox and mount were damaged the day after Christmas. A major inconvenience this time of year. Called Handyman Connection and Gina arrived promptly the next morning. She quickly assessed the damage, reinforced the mount and reinstalled the mailbox. She did a terrific, very professional job.
