We have used True Plumbing multiple times and have always been happy with the plumbers they sent as well as the work they provided. On this occasion the person they sent tried to upsell us on a new garbage disposal that we didn't need( They actually installed one 3 years ago). We have a leak in the kitchen sink not a broken garbage disposal. The quote they sent was for over $1,000 to install a new faucet (price of faucet not included) and caulk the sink after we scrape off the old silicone caulking. Found another highly recommended plumber who's quote of $450 was much more reasonable. He also confirmed we don't need a new garbage disposal. I would not recommend this service provider. They should be vetting the contractors they use.

Very fast response. Gave me a no nonsense quote of $2100 to install a new high quality water heater. Was out the next day. Our tech Bert is a fine gentleman and a quality tech. He had a friendly attitude and seem to genuinely like his job.

Evan our plumber was prompt, knowledgeable , and was a pleasure to work with. He installed the new toilet, removed the old one, and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend Evan from True Plumbing!

Saul Razo was wonderful! He professional, helpful, and very kind. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ensured I understood what occurring as well as what options were available to fix. From there, he was very quick to fix the problem and ensured our sink was working flawlessly in addition to upgrading the broken parts with even higher quality ones to make sure this would be less likely in the future.

The office was quick communicating with me via both phone and text, and the plumber who came to assess and later install a new water heater was friendly, on time, and great at communicating important information. Overall very pleased at the quality of service.

We used True Plumbing for a new bathtub installation. The project was broken out int two phases:Phase 1 - relocating the pipesPhase 2 - installing the actual bathtubPhase 1 was completed without issue, and the team told use they would be back to complete phase 2 with 4 people to accommodate the size of our large tub.Phase 2 was schedule for 8am, 8/12/22, and only 1 person arrived on site. They said due to the office miscommunication and scheduling error, the would not be able to complete the agreed upon work and offered no commitment for rescheduling, informing us we needed to call the main office.We called the main office and respectfully expressed the urgency of our situation: this installation needs to be prioritized as I am 8+ months pregnant, we are installing this *so* that I can use the tub for a water birth at home, the baby can come anytime, not to mention it's extremely frustrating walking around a giant tub to pee in the night 5x everyday. Days delay due to error is acceptable, a week is not.They said they understood the urgency of our situation and promised to call back within the hour.By 2pm no one had called us back. Upon follow-up they confirmed that the best they can do is Thursday the following week.I am extremely disappointed by:1) Refusal to take responsibility for their error2) Lack of urgency in rectifying the issue3) Lack of empathy for my pregnancy and our extenuating circumstancesUpdate:The business reached out to my husband to reschedule the follow-up and was able to rectify the situation on the following Tuesday (formerly Thursday).We were happy with this accommodation and the final installation was completed without issue.I have updated this review without the request of the business, which to their credit, is a testament to their commitment to doing the right thing.

I’m grateful for the repair and the expertise of the plumber. However, the markup on the shower cartridge was too extreme. I know you have a business to run but why not give a senior a price break. I was at your mercy.

I've used True Plumbing several times and their plumbers have always been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Now that I've found True Plumbing, I've found my plumber.

I've used True Plumbing for the past 5 years every time I've needed a plumber. They are always on-time, clean-polite, great responsiveness at the front office too. They let you send pictures of your problem, links to videos I made, and then tell me the exact cost before they ever come to fix it. Each time the price turned out to be exactly what they quoted me on the phone. Overall I highly recommend them. They have replaced my water heater, fixed a leaking shower cartridge valve, and also a leaking shower drain. Each time it was affordable and thorough with no flaws in the workmanship or materials. I am a DIY guy but plumbing is something that is always best to hire an expert. True Plumbing staff are definitely experts! Stephen has been my plumber to come out on the last 2 visits. He's pleasant and very knowledgeable and efficient. I would additionally say that if Stephen is the plumber they send to your house, you're in great hands.

My kitchen sink had a really deep clog, and it was getting frustrating because I couldn't fix it myself. So, I got in touch with Michael from True Plumbing, and he was prompt, courteous and extremely fair with what he charged me. He fixed the issue within twenty minutes and was incredibly professional and polite which I appreciated (you don't always get that with plumbers, at least in my experience). I will absolutely contact True Plumbing again the next time I have a plumbing issue. Great experience.

We’ve had True Plumbing out twice now. First visit, they replaced our water heater. On the second visit, they rerouted a hot water pipe around a slab leak.They are very punctual and professional. They provided estimates in both cases, and came in at or under both times.If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy plumber, these are the guys for you.

We had a couple different plumbing companies come to our house, and although the guy from True Plumbing was very nice, he was extremely unknowledgeable when it came to plumbing codes and slab leaks. Basically, he told us they would need to take out an entire counter in order to do the work, which was entirely unnecessary. Then, he failed to notice three items that were not code-compliant. He said he saw nothing wrong with what the contractors who flipped our home had previously done, which I knew was not right because the city inspector had already told us these things were not code-compliant. He also wanted to tear open a wall in our garage, which no one had to do when we went with the other plumbing company. He also quoted us $500 more than the other company, and I hope it wasn’t because I’m a woman and I was by myself when receiving the quote. The reason I gave them two stars is because the plumber was at least quite friendly.Oh, and the plumber also told us there was no way we were going to be able to re-use our laminate flooring in our kitchen, and we totally were with no problem. He took 24 hours to get us our quote, where the other plumbers did their quote on the spot and provided very knowledgeable and quick service.Furthermore, instead of reaching out to me personally by calling, they had to justify what they did on-line to Google and Yelp. Their logic was very flawed, and instead of taking the feedback, they had to react with a very faulty argument that all of these verbal statements weren't in their quote, so everything they got wrong must be false. I actually even left some stuff out about requests on the quote that were never meant.

True Plumbing was great throughout the whole process of re-piping my home! They answered all of my questions patiently (and I asked a lot of them). They completed the job in 3 days as quoted and cleaned up so we'll that my house was cleaner than when they arrived.

The best experience I have ever had with any home service person ever...and I am 64 years old. Mike was prompt, honest, courteous, and came out on a weekend because he knew I was in a desperate situation. Tenants with no hot water is not pretty.He took way more time than he originally anticipated and still charged me a VERY VERY fair price for the work that he did.I will recommend him to everyone I know and will be posting on Facebook for anyone to call me that needs a great, honest plumber in San Diego. What an AMAZING find!!!

Michael was great, have used True Plumbing 3 times now for a recently purchased condo. Very responsive, on time and very fair pricing. Had a semi urgent matter and Mike was super responsive and handled the issue for me.

We had to re-pipe our house. The workers did a great job. It took four days to complete the job. They covered the work areas in plastic to keep the dust off our furniture and bathroom counter tops. I highly recommend the company.

So Tony from True Plumbing literally left my house minutes ago but I was so impressed I had to get on Yelp to review. We had a water issue with a cracked elbow joint that was in a pretty tough spot in the ceiling of our garage leading up to an upstairs sink and vanity. I initially called my home warranty company who sent out a plumber who really had no idea how to get at the problem. He actually suggested that we'd have to remove an entire bathroom vanity. I told him I'd get back to him. He really didn't have the knowledge or desire to do the work.After seeing great reviews of True on my Nextdoor app I made an appt with them. Tony was here right on time and after assessing the situation decided what to do. He left to get some parts he didn't have and with some back and forth up and down the stairs to put it all back together he finished the job.Very nice guy, great company that I would call again in an instant.

I've had True Plumbing come out to my house twice to move a gas line and do some testing. David and George came out and they did great work. They were professional and efficient.

Mike with True Plumbing was nothing but courteous, prompt and professional. He went out of his way to help us with our broken water heater. Additionally, another plumber told us our leaky sink couldn't be fixed because he couldn't get the part for it, but Mike was easily able to get the part and fix the faucet in less than 30 minutes, saving us the expense of a new kitchen faucet!I would highly recommend True Plumbing!

There was a noise coming from a water pipe and a toilet had water continually running.Tony came by and was really was very good dealing with both issues.He went in our attic and was able to diagnose the pipe noise and determine exactly which pipe the noise was coming from. We were told the noise was water hammer.The toilet was a difficult fix but he was able to perform the repair.I would hire True Plumbing again.

Very pleased with Victor's assessment of the problems with my old toilet, and how quickly he went out purchased, and installed a new one. - all in just few hours. True will be my go to plumber.

The company does thorough and professional service, without gimmicks like perfume or white gloves. Tony was able to get the job done right the first time, and found less expensive ways to correct the problems.

This past week our hot water heater - less than one year old - went out on us. After my self-diagnosis yielded no helpful information, I decided to give our home warranty a shot, but the contractor they assigned to us flaked and we lost 3 days in the process.In desperate straits, I called True Plumbing, and Jess jumped on our issue immediately. She got a plumber out to us that same day to try to diagnose the issue, and the next day Jess and Tony worked tirelessly to get the manufacturer of our water heater to honor the warranty and get the unit fixed.When the manufacturer demanded that we call out an electrician to troubleshoot the unit while on the phone with them, I spent half a day calling around to find an electrician who could schedule us quickly, and had zero success - most told me their soonest opening was at least 4 days out.At that point I decided it was time to replace the water heater with one that had a less-complicated warranty. I let Jess know, and she arranged for a new water heater from a more reputable manufacturer to be available the following morning. Tony came by before noon, installed our new water heater and hauled away our old one.From start to finish, True Plumbing was not only professional and lightning-fast, but it was obvious that they were dedicated to helping us solve our crisis as quickly and economically as possible.

Tommy was very poise, polite and professional. He gave us an estimate range and job was completed promptly and at the estimate number.
Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Shakespeare was wrong: A plumber is not a plumber by any other name. We hired a plumber to fix our water heater. It was ok for about a day. We did not want that guy back, so Mr. Muto came in for the fix. Wow. The first plumber had put the pipes on upside down!! --From now on, we will always use True Plumbing!!!
