Don't even try! ?

I've got this company assigned by my home warranty (First American home warranty ?) to fix a leaking water heater.

Albert Rocha told me that it should be replaced. Okay. Using The Home Depot warranty I've got $600 back for my old (2017) water heater and had to pay additional $200 to get almost the same but new (inflation ?).

Alber installed this new heater but I had to pay for additional parts which were sold to me by 3 times higher price ?.

They told me that San Jose needs to approve the permit. The city inspector has arrived and requested to change the way the heater is mounted to a wall.

Alber visited me once again and... fixed that. Take a look at the video I attached ?.

The most rude customer service rep in history. I called and asked for an appointment to fix a broken water heater as soon as possible because I’m pregnant and due in a week. The lady who answered told me she had 47 other service requests and couldn’t help me until those were scheduled and then hung up on me.

I will never attempt to use this service again. The lack of compassion or even helpfulness to try and do their job was astounding.

I had an appointment scheduled, and the day before they called me as they had a cancellation, to ask if i wanted the earlier day. I really appreciated this because I was not able to use my kitchen sink until the disposer was repaired. It was very nice of them. Then Roland arrived and fixed the issue in no time.

This company is the worst one..I do have American Home Shield; and they assigned street plumbing & rooter as a contractor to fix my toilet and faucet.. we placed the work order since 01/27/23 and since today it hasn’t been fix .. Theresa was very rude when she answered me the phone and I asked to please let the plumber know to please not come before 2pm, and she answer me in a very rude tone she is not the one who will be coming to my house to fix the problem. I totally understand she is not the one coming to my house, but at least she can put a message for the plumber to please come at the right time 2pm and not at 12:30pm or 1pm like in the past they did because the plumber leaves far away from San Jose and he needs to get leave right on time and that’s the reason he showed up early than the set time , and her answer was that I was rude to her and in a very angry tone and she told me that the call need to be end . I thought as customer the company should try to accommodate a schedule to the customers needs or at least tell the insurance that they can’t do the job due to the schedule so we can be assign to another contractor..

As usual we needed service yesterday. Which was Sunday. Today around 930am the gal from the office called about service and the first comment out of my mouth was , no were done. We needed someone yesterday and she didn't like it. She got nasty with me say I was rude. I won't deal with her or them. I think they are to busy or dont care to come so far as Hollister. Their to busy. Just handle the call we didn't need you to come. We need help yesterday and got it taken of. Wish I could have talked to the manager but she refused.

The technician claimed that the craw space is too muddy to work in, and wanted us to order for a remediation service. We order a remediation service with $250 via a remediation company referred by Costco Home Insurance Connect, and the remediation crew provided us with a report saying that the craw space does not need to be remediated. The company provided us with reports and photos to show their findings. We went back and asked if the technician can come and perform the service, and the technician then says they need to find someone who is small enough to fit into the craw space, and refused to come out again. This is not professional at all.

Horrible company and very poor customer service. Office staff to technicians… all pathetic. No one answers phone calls, or returns calls, took them a whole week to put work order in after inspection of property and that too after me constantly having the insurance company call them. They are rude, unprofessional and bad work ethics. Will be reporting to the BBB as well.

Was assigned Street Plumbing & Rooter by American Home Shield. They were engaged for fixing a water heater with pilot light issues that kept turning off. The technician came and mentioned a part has to be ordered and that another visit would be scheduled for installing the new part. Three weeks after not hearing from them, the tenants checked in with me. I call the dispatcher and was told there is no problem with the pilot light as the tech wrote in the case notes that he was able to light it on his visit. There was no mention of a replacement part or a scheduling another visit. The dispatcher who goes by the name Teresa abruptly escalated the call to a level of rudeness that I was caught completely by surprise. Not sure if she is overworked or why she went over the edge over a routine service call check-up. No attempt to check with the tech on what happened as she mentioned at the beginning of the call that the notes were not entirely clear. Instead, she raged into an active attempt to not let me speak and provide any further details. She stated she was hanging up and ...she hung up,

Terrible service. The technician couldn't be more impatient and has a bad attitude. Doesn't answer my questions or even let me be around to watch him while he's working. Left with a still clogged pipe and loose drain plug. I had to call the office to get him back to fix the clogging completely.

These Plumbers came in through my Home Warranty Company. It took them 23 days to respond back. Left many voice mails. They wouldn't return phone calls. When they were finally conferenced in through the Home Warranty company they were really rude. They made the customer wait 23 days to get an appointment but couldn't bear the customer make them wait for literally 2 minutes to look up their schedule to make an appointment. Pathetic behavior. Reason for the behavior was that other customers might be calling to make an appointment, so cannot make them wait. REALLY. So why make me wait for 23 days and not make the other customer wait for 2 - 5 mins. I cancelled their appointment and don't want to deal with them. God knows what kind of service they would offer. Not really sure of the authenticity of other reviews but there are ways to handle a situation and this company surely doesn't know how to deal with a situation. If they cannot handle phone calls then how will they be able to handle plumbing problems. Save time & headache and make the right call.

Real miss on the customer service side. Woman who answers calls cuts you off and then tells you that she needs to get off the call. They came to do home warranty service--when they asked me if I had a cleanout I told them I didn't know and they walked away saying that they couldn't do the job because I lacked a clean-out. So, won't be using them again.

Horrible service ! Plumber came after 10 days for an emergency request.
He is too lazy to bring tools from the truck to fix the Faucet leak, was using his hands.
I had to request him to bring the tools.
As soon as he left after fixing the issue, Faucet started flooding.
I had to call another plumber to fix the issue right away.
Wasted money and time (and stress). Definitely Not worth.

I used Street Plumbing as they were referred by warranty company to replace my water heater. They did replace the water heater under warranty but insisted to add an expansion tank to meet code and charged $750 for the addition of the small expansion tank. Looked it up online and the tank is only $50 and they charge $300 for the tank beside installation. I agreed as the overall cost was lower than trying to do it outside of warranty with the water heater on top.

A year later I find the pipe connection is all corroded and rusted (see pic). They used a galvanized pipe which is wrong type to use for water tank. Instead of using copper pipes so it doesn't rust. This is obviously a bad workmanship and no knowledge from the tech on the right type of pipe to use.
I called them to see if they would fix it given it's obviously a bad installation. They denied their fault and said we don't warrant materials?! What materials?! They chose the wrong material for the pipe and won't stand behind their mistakes.

Got another plumber and he replaced the connection and was surprised that someone used galvanized pipe on water heater. Don't recommend them for lack of basic knowledge and for over charging.

Update: first of all there was no city inspection as this was just a water heater replacement, so don’t make up stuff. The issue here is using wrong type of pipe (galvanized), which obviously you have hard time admitting to. I’m uploading a second picture after it was fixed by another plumber for $75 using the correct copper pipes. I don’t need to do it free, it’s a small fee, I just gave you the opportunity to fix your mistake.

Service tech Calvin was unresponsive to me and their own dispatch. Took time off work and waited 2 hrs for nothing. They are not able to reschedule outside of 8am to 3pm, which is normal working hours for everyone.

They need to change hiring practices and scheduling processes before they'll be useful.

We were directed to Street plumbing by the home warranty. Issue is low water pressure in kitchen faucet. The technician just looked at the faucet and concluded the issue is main line water pressure is low. All the other faucets in the house are dispensing water in full or good pressure except kitchen faucet. Then how is it we conclude the issue with mainline? Also the diagnosis was not communicated to me for more than a week. I learn about it when I contacted to followup. This is so unprofessional. Charge for the service was $85. Please stay away from them.

We will never do business with them again. We had them come to fix an issue with the sink and dishwasher and the technician couldn't do anything, exploded a pipe (which sprayed waste water on the wall and ground) and got dirty, then left with no cleanup. I called the office and the receptionist Teresa was incredibly rude, brushed me off, claimed no responsibility, and hung up the phone. After they could not resolve the issue (which we used a different provider who was able to fix it) and their blatant unprofessionalism, I cannot give them anything higher than 1 star.

Our home warranty company assigned us to Street Plumbing & Rooter. Making an appointment was a breeze. Their next available spot was a few days later so I’m glad I called right away to secure an appointment. Roland, the plumber they sent, is very knowledgeable & professional. He knew right away what was wrong with our disposer. We had to wait about a week & a half coz they had to order the replacement. He installed the new one quickly with no issues, & before Thanksgiving holiday. I’m very satisfied with their service.

Beware of this company!!! Do not use this company once it is assigned to you as a Home Warranty. They ask for upfront payment with an estimate that is not true and they do not finish the work. Scheduling also extreamly difficult, but they asking for card information in advance shows how poorly they do their jobs. Because when they finished the job, nobody wants to pay!!!

It was said to be a 2.5 hour job, but Plummer left after 40 minutes and he broke the wall and didn't restore it. He worked very lazy and it impossible to see what he was being replaced while he was working on it.

I talked to the insurance company, but in the end, I had to work with a paint company that this company handles, and it is difficult to get a schedule for that company. I want my money back. Working with my contractor will be more efficient and cheaper.

Rude, uncouth and totally customer unfriendly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have had such a terrible experience with the person who answers the phone and their service is so bad that a faucet they installed less than 3 months ago (under a warranty) is NOW loose and the lady accuses me (the customer) that I am messing with the faucet. I really hope she thinks about her words and understand that a customer has better things to do than call a plumber to come fix faucets that they installed in a faulty manner. I pressed her and the only reason she cannot come out is because she lost money on a previous installation of a faulty faucet that they installed and hence some how its the customers fault now. It took me forever to get them to even come in and replace the faucet. I'm also going to write to the warranty company to take them out of the preferred list of vendors for warranty work.

I want to send my deep appreciation to their technician Roland. Actually, he was the second technician sent to our home for the same issue. At the beginning, I complained that they didn't send out the same technician who knew the issue better. But after we met Roland, I felt we were super lucky.

Roland completely solved our kitchen sink clog problem. (Believe me, you cannot imagine how inconvenient it is when your kitchen sink is clogged.) Our kitchen sink and cabinet made the fix difficult. But Roland still made it. We were super appreciated. This problem bothered us for more than 4 days but he solved the issue within 30 minutes.

I believe there are several technicians in Street Plumbing & Rooter and some of them are good but some might not. We got assigned to Street Plumbing & Rooter due to our home warranty company. If your case is like me, and your technician is Roland, then you could take it easy.

First he fixed our toilet and our garbage disposal, which was covered by an insurance company. Charlie was great! He came early and worked quickly to replace our corroded kitchen faucet with a new touchless faucet. As a woman, sometimes technicians will belittle you and treat you like you know nothing, but Charlie was not at all like that. I'd recommend Street Plumbing based on my experience with Charlie.

I was assigned this company by American Home shield for a water heater with a pilot that wouldn't stay lit.

The plumber that came out wouldn't tell me his name (what?!). He replaced the thermocouple with a new one, but left trash on the work site and badly gouged a nut while apparently installing the new thermocouple with needle nose pliers instead of a wrench. He told me the unit was working and started to leave, but the unit was in fact still dead with no pilot. By the time I realized this, he was already in his van. He ignored my yelling and waving as he pulled away. I called the office twice and the tech called me, but he refused to come back and look at the unit

He later put in a report with AHS saying the unit would need to be replaced due to the tank leaking (not covered, of course). There is no visible leak on the unit, and he was called out for a faulty pilot light!

My experience has been pathetic, poor service, unresponsive.

Street Plumbing & Rooter were assigned to be from AHS for a leak in my bathroom. The plumber came on 03/22/22, and shared that he would need to open the sheetrock to investigate the leak in the bathroom, would get approval from home warranty. I waited, not update for few days, checked with AHS, no claim filed to them. It was impossible to get through over phone. After a week, 15+ phone attempts finally got hold of a RUDE lady on the phone, snapping at me, as if it was my mistake, finally scheduled another plumber to come over on Apr 06.

Charlie came over in super hurry, took a cursory look, started opening/replacing the spout, without sharing any details on the issue with me(customer). On trying to get details, mentioned You would have paid hundreds of dollars to get this fixed, and we are doing it for no cost! Your cost is covered by AHS, and you are be paid!! I did not get details on the issue.

He did a shabby job, mentioned he would file to home warranty and come back to do the proper work after he gets approval.

I checked with home warranty, they shared they have given approval, but no update again from Street Plumbing & Rooter for week+

Again the same issue of trying to get hold, finally got the same RUDE lady on the phone, all blame on plumber and home warranty, she is just a scheduler. Details are with technician, technician failed to share details with me during the visit! She does not have details, from their respective ALL DONE and CLOSED! Goodbye.

And now I have to scout around for another plumber to analyze/fix the leak + get rework of the faucet!

My since advice, STAY AWAY from Street Plumbing & Rooter!!!

and definitely miles away if assigned by home warranty, immediately request for change!!

Assigned by AHS to this plumber for a leaking water heater. The plumber told us that the water heater assigned by AHS won't be available for 6 weeks, and that they will follow up with warranty company to find a resolution. Then it became impossible to get in touch with the plumber ever since, even the AHS agents couldn't get them reply to their inquiries. We waited 3 weeks until we realize this is not going anywhere. Ended up hiring another contractor who came over and replace the water heater within one day.

Extremely bad service. I had a water leak from my upstairs bedroom into the ceiling of the downstairs kitchen. The technician came on March 22 and said that he needs further approval from his boss. He took photos and went away. Then every day if the following week I called them, but they have not been able to send somebody to fix it till today (March 28th). Do not use this service, because if you have to make a follow-up call, they will not even pick up the phone or respond to your calls.

Street plumbing was sent to our home via the warranty service. Charlie was sent out and did arrive on time however that was the only thing he did correctly. He begrudgingly entered my home refusing to introduce himself so I asked who he was and he gave me his name as if I should have guessed who he was. Walked around my home with a sullen expression, refusing to answer my questions unless I repeated them and then responded with sarcasm and high level of irritation. Yelled at me in one of my bathrooms about the carpet and how rediculous it was! I told him we are preparing to remodel the home which we purchased this way just weeks prior. Ran outside then came back stating “nothing is covered because your membership isn’t active”. Turned his back then ignored me when I tried to explain he was mistaken! Manager Theresa didn’t call back to address my complaint for 3 days! She acknowledged his mistake with the warranty which was active, Then shut me down when I attempted to explain my main concern with the so called plumber. She gave him a pass and accused me of putting “words in her mouth “when I asked her a question. I can see where he gets his attitude. Look at the unprofessional response the management takes when addressing the negative reviews on this website! Are they going to take things personally instead of addressing the issue?! You people at Street Plumbing need to take business courses! I wouldn’t allow him/them back if they were the last plumbing service around!!!!

Our bathroom flooded and ruined the carpet in out bedroom after someone from this company did some fixes and they won't send anyone to repair for over 3 days. There was an extremely un-helpful woman who picked up the phone. There was absolutely no courtesy or understanding on her part. I used Street Pluming because it was the contracted company provided by the home warranty. I've had two experiences with them, the service of the appointment scheduler is really POOR. I was checking if they have any earlier slot because of the urgent situation. The attitude the lady answered was really bad, she said immediately you are welcomed to find other plumbers and acted like they do not care about the business.

The service provided by the technician is good, but the customer service really ruined my day, each time.

So-so experience.

Echo others' comments here w.r.t. technician not introducing himself upon knocking. I had to guess based on the van parked outside. Also he didn't want me to be in the bathroom (with 2 ft distance) while fixing the pipes - He tried to blame that on COVID concerns (its 2022!) but his demeanor indicated he didn't like me in the bedroom either, which had bathroom view.

Technician finished the job soon though. Will post again here if I see issues with the job in few days.

Update: they reached out and updated the parts for free, so changing the rating.

Used the service to replace the old water heater. 2 years after placement it shows serous damage and errosio, as it wasn't property installed. We need it fixed and the company can not be reached for a week now. Would not recommend.

I have had mediocre service from this company (delayed visits, weeks to complete service) earlier but I had to go back to them since they are contracted to First Home Warranty.

The handyman assigned for fixing the shower came in to check the shower and mentioned that there is a missing part. Fast forward, 2 weeks he comes back without the part and tells me that the part is not available after coming home. A month later and with no response from the company, I figure out that the service request with the First Home Warranty is closed and I have been trying to reopen it but to no avail.

I refused to pay the service fee since my service is not complete and First Home Warranty promptly sends the service fee for collection. It felt like I am being arm twisted to pay the service fee.

I am sure there are better professional services and better plumbers around. I do not like to leave bad reviews but in this case, this company has been extremely unprofessional and that leaves me with no choice.

Andrew gave outstanding service when he came to our home to repair a busted pipe that flooded part of our garage! I’ve never met an individual who takes so much pride in the work they perform. Although the insurance didn’t pay for the retro-fit, it was totally worth what I paid to have my pipes look aesthetically pleasing as the work completed by a previous plumber was a complete eye sore! Andrew was a courteous and knowledgeable technician who took the time to explain what needed to be done prior to starting the work. Andrew has totally regained my trust for individuals in his line of work. Should I ever need plumbing services in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate on calling Street Plumbing & Rooter to resolve my issue! I give them Two Thumbs Up for an awesome job!!!!

Pathetic Service!! The Person who was handling my faucet issue came in and told me it needs to be replaced and he needs to get approval from First American home warranty .
He goes missing in action for 5 weeks no updates , nothing from First American as well! When i call back First American they put me in touch with a really rude person from Street Plumbing!
Instead of apologizing for not following up . They tell me it will not be replaced with the type of faucet i have and also hung up on me

First American is horrible and their service companies like Street Plumbing are Horrible and have no sense of customer service!

We were glad that they could assist us during this time. Andrew arrived on time and is very professional. He took a look at the problem and fixed it right away. Worst customer service over the phone! Not very good at repairs, either. After five years of services rendered by this company, and due to their terrible customer service, we will not be dealing with Street Plumbing & Rooter any longer. Street Plumbing and Rooter should consider firing the person that answers the phone and finding a more professional receptionist. Genesis, the technician, was outstanding! He came to my house promptly for my appointment, and was courteous and genuine. He explained the details of my sink stoppage clearly and how he would fix it - and do so in very good time. Terrible service. They never answer their phone. This was the company that American Home Shield home warranty sent out for a repair. The technician was ok. Their office person who answers the phone is rude when she finally does answer. I have opted out of having them manage my replacement because they didn’t send me the information for the fees that I was told by AHS that I would owe out of pocket. When I finally got it after 6 voicemails left for them, it was more than I was quoted by AHS and I never got a response as to why.

I had a leakage out of the disposer in our kitchen. Filed a claim on Saturday with First American, and almost immediately received a call from Street Plumbing & Rooter and was scheduled to fix it on Monday. Don't use this company. We had a leak though overflow hole. The guy came and said, it is just need some caulking. What? I asked should it be water tight? He said, no when we install the bathtubs we don't water seal that pipes. The overflow hole is for snaking only he added. Don't fill up your bathtub full. And he has a license? The actual fix is it needs a gasket between the pipe and hole. No caulking is needed at all.

I really don't recommend them at all. My home warranty had them come to my place and tried fixing the blocked sink faucet. The technician came 3 hours later than scheduled time, and he was only able to find some debris in the faucet and fail to fully clean up. He left my place with issue unsolved and said will report the problem regarding the faucet and recommended getting it replaced.

I followed up with home warranty the next day and they said the report from the technician said the issue was not at the faucet, but at flow restrictions in fresh water lines, which is perfectly not covered in their warranty. The technician didn't say anything about the water lines the earlier day, and there must be a lier between those two.

Now I have to either pay out of pocket to hire another contractor to diagnose again or pay out of pocket to buy a new faucet. What a joke! Stay away from them and useless First American Home Warranty.

#DIY: used a hammer + chisel to make the tile hole larger in 3min #
- 2nd: 12/22/2021 - extracted cartridge, need to buy new cartridge
- 3rd: 01/06/2022 - installed cartridge, defective, need to buy new one
- 4th: 01/13/2021 - supposed to fix it. Technician assumed shop ordered new cartridge, shop assumed technician would buy the cartridge. end up not coming
# 12 days waiting, shop want to make sure order from good quality source #
- 5th: 1/25/2021 - technician visited with new cartridge, problem fixed

Tried not to be subjective but use my experience. Hope it helps the Street Plumping to improve and with other customer.

My insurance company assigned this street plumbing company to clear the sewer line that was clogged @ my rental property in San Jose and tenants were suffering with flooding sewer line water back to the house . After 4 days plumber arrived and in 5 mints. went back. Called several times to find out the update but no response. Finally this morning office lady answer the phone and said , there is no access to do the drain job. I try to explain hey there is a drain excess outside on eastside.(she don't want to listen,)
We can not wait called the Rooter Drain service, he cleared the blockage in 20 minutes and everything normal.
Street plumbing company have very un professional technicians and top of that office lady's attitude. Now I requested to my insurance company do not assigned street plumbing to us in the future . waste of money and time.

This review is actually for service rendered roughly 1 year ago. I'm writing it now because I just got off the phone with Sears and am appalled at the difference in customer care.

When we last called Street to inspect and ultimately replace our water heater, a tech came out to the house, identified that the unit was unrepairable, and handled all the logistics of getting us a new Kenmore unit. Including the initial and follow-up trip, replacement (under home warranty) and haul away of the old unit, we paid only $125. Service was fast and affective.

I'd say there's room for some improvement also, but it's not a deal breaker. For instance, they should have done better at explaining our replacement options under the home warranty. Also, he left the old earthquake strap mounts bolted to the wall and just added new ones for the new unit. That's a bit tacky. Still, for price and overall service, I'd gladly call them instead of Sears if I had the option right now.

Homeowners be ware! Genesis at Street Plumbing doesn't seem to know what he is doing and is shady. I called Old Republic Homeowners Insurance on 5/20/19 to address the issue I had in the top bathroom where the tank was not filling up after I flushed the toilet. Genesis from Street Plumbing showed up on 5/21/19 and said it was the flap that needed to be replaced which he did. After he left, we had the same problem with the tank not filling up after flushing the toilet so we would have to jiggle the fill valve. I called Street Plumbing back and left a message but didn't get a call back so called Old Republic who called them. Still no response so I called Street Plumbing on 5/29/19. Genesis came on Friday, 5/31/19, saw the problem and said I think I may have something so went back to his truck. He tried to cheat me and as I watched from the top window of my house, I saw him put a defective valve in an empty box in his truck and bring it in. When I asked if the part was new when he was replacing the old one, his comment was didn't you see me take it out of the box? When he was replacing the old valve, he told me to leave so he could work. I went downstairs. A few minutes later he came downstairs and said it was fixed and took off. My husband heard the water running and when we went upstairs, the water was just running from the tank into the bowl so we had to shut down the valve. I called and spoke with Stephanie at Street Plumbing and let her know what happened and to see if Genesis could come back and fix it properly since he had just left. She said she would call him. Since I didn't hear from her or Gensis, I called Old Republic and they got another plumber to come on Saturday to replace the valve and it is working fine. I am sure Genesis charged Old Republic for new part but it was an old defective part he took out from another customer's toilet! I compared the part information inside the box (there were still some papers in it and outside of the box) with the valve number that he installed and they were different! What a rip off! His license should be removed and he should be reported to Better Business Bureau. Please do NOT use this company if you don't want to be ripped off.

He cleared a really yuk clog in my shower drain with his auger/snake tool, and even showed me how to use the handheld one I bought when I had tried to diy-solve it myself (fail!). Actually this is the second plumbing company that came to my house to fix my kitchen sink... specifically my clean out. The first company was USA PLUMBING from LIVERMORE... which was obviously a money maker company with poor experienced plumbers....esp. DANIEL. Street plumbing resolved my kitchen sink problem in 15 minutes from the time Roland came. Hes very professional, honest and knows what he is doing. Was very happy with he’s service. If I could leave no stars, I would. The home warranty company selected them to come fix a plumbing backup, and 60 dollars later all I had was a driveway covered in sewage (there was none there before he started working) that he refused to clean up. so I had to, and a statement that it was the county's problem. The county has come and done what they could, but I have no idea if the problem is really fixed or not. If it isn't, I won't waste my time with them or First American Home Warranty. I will get a real plumber instead.

They were assigned by my home warranty company. It took them 4 trips to fix a leaky faucet. this took 2 weeks, and our water at the master bath sink was off for that time. They also left shoe scuff marks on the wall and baseboard that did not wash off, and now I'll have to repaint. After 3 tries, there was supposed to be a supervisor who came with them, but they ignored the warranty company rules and came without one. Ask for another company.

Had to use these folks due to home warranty. I am giving the company one star due to the terrible customer service of SHARON HIPOL.

The issue:
The company initially wanted to charge us $250 for permit and processing for a new water heater. The tech put me in touch with an internal service representative SHARON HIPOL, because she was supposedly better able to help me understand the permit requirements online. On the phone she completely lied..three times. First she stated San Mateo County charges $200 for permits (lie #1). I asked her to help me understand online where she saw that. She walked me through the online process...and when I checked on the San Mateo County website, I confirmed wither her thee fee I saw on the website was was $85. Then she said their company had to call the San Mateo County office in order to get that quote and their company's out of pocket cost was $120 (lie #2). Based upon her logic, I asked her if the processing fee was $140. She dodged the questions. During this whole time she was rude, she kept on cutting me off, and I was unable to even ask clarification questions. Finally she stated that no matter what county I lived in, it was a flat $250 processing fee (lie #3). As someone who used to work in a call center and have to deal with thousands of unhappy customers, I was in complete shock of her rudeness, her lack of professionalism, and outright awfulness. I don't know what kind of company hires these kind of individuals.

The service we received from the service tech, WESLEY was outstanding however. He was kind, he explained every line item, and he was patient in helping me understand exactly what we were paying for. SHARON HIPOL, however, needs some remedial customer service training.

BUYER BEWARE OF SHARON HIPOL. Please, for the love of God, get her some remedial customer service training.

*update- I changed my recommendation from 5 to 1 star. Since the first time I used Street Plumbling, they've broken my kohler bathroom faucet sink and replaced it with a cheap faucet, which is constantly clogging. I've had a plumber come in and say that I needed to fix my shower leak by breaking thru the wall to get to the pipes. Per their advice, I hired a handy man to break thru the sheetrock. The day Street was to show up to fix my leak, they tell me that it was a mistake on the plumber's part. (His name was Sean) I ended up having to wait 5 months until Street fixed the wall.

Conclusion: DO NOT USE THEM!

Lousy customer service you can never get live person on phone only voicemail have left numerous messages and no call back!!! Had appointment for hot water heater replacement and they never showed up!!!! Don’t use them

Do not use them. Unprofessional,. Installed water heater and started leaking in a week and would not come to check it. Stay away from them. There are much better people then them.
