Tim was amazing! We’ve had weak water pressure in our shower for a couple months and finally got around to getting it fixed. Rascher had the most competitive pricing, and great reviews, so we decided to give them a try. Tim was able to get the job done with minimal impact to the walls. (Another place had said they’d need to remove large sections of wall in both bathrooms, including tiles. Tim used a small space and taped the drywall back in place so we can patch it up ourselves, rather than calling in another service!) After fixing all the pipes and shower, he checked our other faucets and managed to fix the pressure in them too! We always assumed we’d just have poor water pressure because our house is over 100 years old, but it’s amazing now! I’ve never been so excited about a shower or to have my husband do the dishes!! They also didn’t make us feel pressured into anything, which I appreciated. We will absolutely use them again!!

I just bought a new home built in 1910 and it's always a bit nerve wracking to try and find great people who do great work. Rascher exceeds that bar. Jason has installed our water softener, garbage disposal, dryer vent, and has recently fixed a leak in our main plumbing stack. Everything was done very well and they do a great job explaining things to you. I will continue to call them for any plumbing needs I have.

Jason came out to change my outside spigot pipe to one I could actually shut down for winter. He was prompt, nice as could be, and he even was able to do a small repair on the washer hose valve. Yes, I had to wait a couple of weeks, but this wasn't an emergency and frankly, after my last plumber, this was a wonderfully pleasant surprise! Thank you!

From the estimate (Joe Rascher), selection of product, scheduling to installation, clean up & invoicing our experience was great. Our installer (Dennis) was very responsive and considerate (covid safe). He also asked for our input throughout the process as he completed the project. Couldn't have been happier to have hired local and have Rascher do this work. Glad to support local business that backs up it up with quality work!

We have an older home with 80-year old plumbing fixtures. Other plumbers were reluctant to address some of the issues that we had for fear of working with old faucets and valves. A neighbor recommended Rascher as having expertise in working with older homes. Mark, who come out, certainly had that. The technician even took the time to show me proper maintenance and things to look out for. Very great business will work with them in the future. They even recommended someone to me for other issues my house was having.

This is the fourth time I've used Rascher for a plumbing issue. Jason did a super job replacing an outside faucet. He was very considerate of my property, super neat, and very efficient. I noticed a slow drip in a basement water pipe and asked neighbors who they recommended: Rascher had high marks. They gave good advice over the phone about my situation, and when Jason came out to do the work, it was simple, painless, and seemed reasonably priced. Plus, he took the effort to do preventive work rather than just patch the hole. Good to have local high-quality people for this work!

This is the best plumbing company in Minnesota ….if you chose any other company besides Rascher, you’d better book a psychological evaluation as well because there would be obviously something wrong with your thinking process.

After using rauscher over the past year for various services and spending thousands of dollars my dad and I are unhappy with our experience dealing with this company. During our first visit they sent a plumber with an obvious body odor problem. For what they are charging personal hygiene should be a given and it was so strong it took me over 30min to air our home out. When I mentioned this to Dave he didn’t seem receptive to that feedback and from that point on has been cold in our interactions. Second, they bill you by the minute including the time it takes for them to total up the bill and the time it takes to fill out the check. If they did excellent work this wouldn’t be a big issue but during our latest service call the plumber we had missed a leak with our sink pipes while installing a new garbage disposal. He forgot the new toilet seat and had to waste time calling the office to send out a replacement. He also left a dirty bucket filled with dirty water in our home for us to deal with. Be advised if you choose a toilet or any fixtures from Ferguson and use Rauscher to install Rauscher significantly marks up the cost. Also be advised that their hourly rate increases every May which they don’t disclose on their website or during scheduling calls. Dave has been unpleasant to deal with, his arrogance and scheduling mistake caused a delay in our service and stress. Instead of being apologetic and offering a discount due to his mistake he acted cold and indifferent and like it was our problem for not wanting to use the plumber he sent instead of the one we had requested. The last guy they sent out to seal the sink pipe didn’t fix the leak. Whatever paste he used to seal it is easily wiped off, he didn't do the bottom rim just the top leaving water dripping through onto the area below the sink. He never recommended replacing that pipe piece or communicated options to us before he left. We will never use them again and they didn’t fix the the sink drip they most likely created during the garbage disposal install. First 2 photos are of it leaking after they said it was fixed third photo is before they came out to fix it.

Kip provided excellent service fixing 2 plumbing issues at my 100 +year old house! He came in and took care of business and didn't try to sell me on other services. I highly recommend Rascher Plumbing!

Mark worked on our radiator shut off valves and a bathroom faucet. He was very professional and knowledgeable. It's nice to find someone who is familiar with old houses.

Jason did a great job. He was very polite and communicated very well what the issue was with our sump pump, what he did to fix the problem, and what we can do in the future to help prevent any issues.

I had Chris out to replace the thermocouple on my direct vent wall furnace in our rec room. He did a good job and answered all of my heating questions. He was very knowledgeable. I would consider Rascher P&H for future work.

I was very pleased. I've had some bad experiences with plumbers in the past, and I called Rascher on the advice of a friend who likes them. From my initial phone-call to the conclusion of their service visit, they were courteous, conscientious and professional. The cost was quite reasonable; and he went over my bill with me in detail. I feel I finally have someone now I can call when I need a plumber, without asking around or researching extensively to avoid a bad experience. I recommend them highly.

Updated November 2021: I contacted Rascher again; I had an emergency plus a couple long-neglected problems. As before, my initial phone contact was very positive, and the technician (this time, Jason) was prompt, professional, competent and engaging. The price was fair and the bill was itemized.

I continue to have complete confidence in Rascher as a resource for plumbing issues large or small.

Excellent organization in scheduling an appointment. The plumber called to confirm his arrival time. He arrived on time, did an excellent job of fixing the problem, and worked efficiently. He also explained the source of the problem and made suggestions to improve the plumbing.

This is my 3rd job with Rascher. My Aunt & Uncle recommended them in the first place- they had 2 bathrooms redone in an 1885 duplex.
They've replaced my leaky main water valve, they go the boiler tuned and at the perfect pressure, and just had them replace a 1924 gas valve behind my stove.

I had a sink that has leaked for the last 10 years. I have had 3 different handy men fix it because I always thought a plumber was too expensive. Well the sink ended up leaking thru the floor and my kitchen ceiling over time, not to mention numerous clogs. I finally decided to call a plumber and have the problem fixed once and for all. A friend recommended them, she said, They aren't cheap but they are very good. They were able to fit me in within three days of my calling. Chris came and was very easy to work with, he clearly laid out my options and what he considered the best choice was. He did the work efficiently and now my sink is no longer a jerry rigged mess but done right and I have full confidence that my problems are over. It wasn't cheap but I have the peace of mind that it was done right and it was cheaper than 3 handy men and a kitchen ceiling repair. He also advised me on how to keep my furnace in good working order without a lot of hooha. I appreciated his common sense approach. I will recommend them to all of my friends. I am very happy.

We got fabulous service from Rascher, as always! Jason & Ben were on time & got the work done quickly. They cleaned up & had good communication w/ us. Hot water heater was leaking, and they squeezed us in the next morning! (Even though appointments have been 3 weeks out). We found this great local company (St Paul) when we needed a lift pump fixed, a few years ago. Not many companies handle lift systems.

The service we received from the plumber (Mark) was efficient and informative. He explained what was needed to complete the faucet extension spray with a replacement. He answered all our additional questions, was courteous, and the cost was very reasonable.

Jason connected our new disposer, dishwasher and new faucet to our new sink. His work was top notch. He was very considerate and left the area clean. I would request him for any future job and recommend him as well.

Jason from Rascher Plumbing spent most of yesterday replacing faucets in the upstairs master bath. He worked all day, came prepared with all the proper tools and even a vacuum. He placed covers over his shoes and when finished there was not even a piece of lint left to clean up....all was spotless! Such a nice guy and he worked so hard. He had to drill bigger holes for the designer faucets to fit and worked on his back under the sinks most the time. What a job and he did it all never asking for anything and with a smile when I would check to see if he needed anything. Had Rascher replace the drain in my 1920's shower. Chris was great about giving me options to save money. Tile installers said plumbing was done very well and it was a difficult job. They understand maintaining old houses!

Jason came by to fix a toilet problem. He was professional, friendly and got the job done.

An outside water faucet broke of, cracking the pipe. The shut off to the pipe was not completely closing. We needed to shut off the main to the house. Rascher responded to our call from Sunday night at 8AM on Monday. Jason was at our home by 9AM and completed the installation of a new shutoff valve, copper pipe to the exterior, and a new outside faucet in one hour. The removed pipe was galvanized and had most likely been in place for over 30 years. Jason was able to remove the pipe without cutting. He did expert job, efficiently and at a reasonable price.

I'm writing this review because I had a terrific experience with Rascher Plumbing and Heating. It's important to me to work with local, union shops, but the reason I will use Rascher again in the future was the competence and geniality of the technician, Jason, who worked on my job. His work was efficient and he was punctual and friendly.

I was dealing with a gas leak from a dryer and Xcel Energy had shut off the main. I didn't have anyone in mind to call but based on reviews called Rascher. They sent Jason and Jake out to repair the gas line in the laundry room. They showed up exactly when they said they would, were very polite and professional, and did the work quickly and at a reasonable price. I'll definitely call Rascher again in the future.

Mark really helped us decide the what was the best option for regulating the heat from our radiators, and he took the time to really explain what he was doing. Very thorough and very pleasant to have working at our house.

I recently decided to proactively replace my aging thirty year old water heater and after corresponding with a few heating and plumbing places I determined that Rascher Plumbing was the best option for my needs. On the front end the communication and transparency was excellent in regards to how the job would be handled and also estimation of related costs. I had an additional task (removal of tempering tank) that needed to be completed and my confidence in their experience and know-how was a big factor in choosing them. Jason arrived on time for the planned date of replacement and handled all of the expected and unexpected tasks at hand most competently. The job was a little bit longer than anticipated due to a sudden need for re-piping however the entire process went as fluidly as could be expected and Jason also provided top-notch workmanship which is ultimately the most important factor; he is also polite and treated my living space with care. Following payment I received an invoice with a detailed breakdown of the individual costs so I could have a full understanding of the labor and parts charges separately; little details such as this are appreciated my me. Overall I came away from the experience feeling that I made a wise decision in choosing to do business with Rascher; they do impeccable work at a fair price.

I used Rascher Plumbing to repair a water leak and to give me a recommendation about repairs at another water leak site. The technician from Rascher was Mark. He did an excellent job of explaining the process that he would do to repair the primary leak. He than did an evaluation of another potential water leak problem and provided me with a very detailed explanation of the problem and potential solutions to the issue. I was very impressed with the work and the detailed suggestions for repair on the secondary problem. I would highly recommend Rascher for any plumbing work. Very professional service and reasonably priced!

My boiler started acting up on a sub-zero degree day, shortly before we were leaving for a trip. The friendly dispatcher at Rascher offered some useful troubleshooting advice over the phone, and scheduled a technician, Matt, who had experience working on the brand of boiler I have, to come the next day. Matt was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue.

Rascher Plumbing and Heating did an amazing job on a tricky 100 year old galvanized water line running out to our garden hose. Matt was punctual, knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about the work, and Jennifer was responsive in scheduling and ensuring I knew up front what to expect. Matt replaced a galvanized water line that was hidden in the ceiling behind ducting and very hard to get to - and he was done in less than three hours and all cleaned up. Because I was picky about where the shutoff valve would be located, Matt came back out the following day and graciously changed the location of the shutoff valve, for which he did not charge anything extra. Throughout the whole experience, I found Rascher plumbing to be an excellent shop and very knowledgeable and considerate. These guys, particularly Mark and Joe, helped us get through frozen pipes this winter. We are first time home owners and had lived in our house for four months before the pipes froze while we were on vacation.

I don’t have enough great things to say about this company. They replaced our 41 year old hot water heater in May 2020. They initially were not able to come out immediately but moved some things around to accommodate us same day. It had a defective thermocoupler. They came out immediately and replaced. Jason was so nice, professional, and quick. Thank you for being our go-to people and accommodating us on short notice not 1 but 2 times!

Rascher is my new plumbing company. I had a problem with my kitchen faucet and the repair person explained the cause and got it working again. Turns out I really needed a new faucet. He suggested several brands to consider, what features and several places to purchase.

I had a 30-yr old water heater fail. I wanted to replace it and decided to replace the other one in our duplex that was over 25 years old. Rascher was very responsive, gave me a rough estimate which sounded in line with other quotes and I agreed to have them come out. Jason and Caleb came out on time, were very friendly and replaced the 2 tanks in about 4 hours. The area was cleaned up very well. I would definitely recommend Rascher to anyone looking for plumbing services. (As a side note, Jason came out a couple days later to install a new outside spigot. Since it was so close to the first job, they waived the trip fee for the second job.)

Very knowledgeable on boilers, did a full overhaul on my system

We had a wet spot on the ceiling in a basement bathroom. I was able to locate the leak by checking pipes from unfinished adjacent furnace. The problem was a cracked ABS drain pipe joint. I put a pan under it to catch the drip so we wouldn't need emergency repair service. Rascher had done good work for us on previous remodeling projects so I called them up and scheduled repair for 6/1 with arrival time between 8 and 10.. Ed called 6/1 at 8:25 to say he would arrive soon. Ed completed the job in 1.5 hours. The repair looks good and stopped the leak. Price was fair.

Rascher replaced an old concrete laundry tub and reworked the plumbing in my laundry room to include a new standpipe and water hook up for the washer. It was a big job, and Jason and Caleb did great. I worked with Joe initially on estimates and advice about the job, and he was always so helpful and responsive. The results came out better than I expected, and I couldn't be happier!

Our experience with Rascher was excellent. Getting an appointment was quick and Ed arrived on time. Ed evaluated the problem we had with our baseboard heat and knew exactly how to fix it.
