This company has to be one of the biggest rip-off artists in San Diego. They are dishonest thieves that must enjoy taking full advantage of unknowing clients like my poor 81 year old mom and sister. They had a leak under a toilet and called these guys who came in and tore up the floor and charged $1,900 for literally 3 hours of work. But then said a crack was in the drain pipe below the bathroom (they didn't confirm that it was leaking but said it could at any moment) and that it would cost another $8,000 to repair it so that two bathrooms could feed into it. A total of $9,900 for the total job!! The $8,000 job was to. Start the next morning with two guys working for about 9 hours each while a third guy may have contributed 4 hours, tops. So, they literally charged my poor mom over $350 per hour for labor. They made my mom think it was an emergency job that had to be done immediately and that she couldn't even get other estimates. They assured her that their costs were better than anyone else's prices. All, total lies. They literally replaced about 20 feet of plumbing. Anyone that calls these guys, needs to think twice. I would give them zero stars if it were possible. They should not be preying on poor elderly ladies who cannot defend themselves! By the way, the first time my mom called them (about 6-months earlier) they were extra nice, but the same guy came back in and pulled in the big score. Poor mom thought they were too nice to rip her off. Little did she know she was being set up. Unfortunately, I was stuck with paying the bill and I am now seriously looking into filing a claim against this company, or at least reporting them to consumer affairs and BBB, so if you have additional similar examples to share, please do so. We cannot let companies like this get away with this nonsense!Also, the insurance company rejected any coverage because the plumber told them the leak was going on for over 3 weeks old, which we had no way to prove otherwise.

These guys are jokes. I had one of these guys come and take a look at why my toilet was leaking. They said because it was so old we needed to replace the whole thing. The toilet was less than a year old. They wanted to charge me $700 for a new toilet.Something needed to be tightened inside the bowl. That's it. I went to home depot and asked one of the guys that worked there. I fixed it for free.That house call cost me $75.

I used this company back in January for a leaky pipe. They quoted us 350 to repair and replace the pipe, but 750 if we wanted it to be copper piping. We went with the 350 because that jump in price just seemed crazy. Fast forward to October and the exact same pipe is leaking. Like literally has a pin sized hole in it. The two star review was because they were on time and professional. But the quality of their services is not there at all. Please go somewhere else for your plumbing services. We're now stuck with no water, once again, and paying another plumber to re-fix the same issue!

Called this company as a family friend recommended them after we had a leak suddenly happen in our only bathroom. The plumber showed up an hour late, I had to call and ask where he was, and once he arrived he clearly did not want to be here. He walked around our house telling us we had had water leaks before (we have lived here 3 years without a single plumbing issue) and quoted us an absurd amount of $450.00 JUST to open the wall, before fixing it. He even called our dry-out guy, and told us that they could do the job cheaper so we should just call our dry-out guy back instead?! After speaking to our dry-out guy after this conversation, he said it sounded like they were planning on charging us evening/emergency rates, even though the plumber was the one that arrived late!! Absolutely horrible customer service and I will never be using or recommending this company again.

I’ve been using Pronto for almost a year with rental properties and need service frequently due to age.The response time is amazing! The prices are fair and the customer service is great! I don’t plan to look for another plumbing service!

My Brother paid to have a tiny park model mobile home completely replumbed , fresh and waste .The original complaint was clogged waste drain (this is ALL above ground with NO SKIRTING) .In the end , the only work completed was new copper pipe installed OUTSIDE of the house , fixtures connected . My Brother just passed away and the drains are backing up again . Upon investigation it was found the original complaint , the waste lines WERE NOT REPLACED FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $3618.00.Further more , the quality of work done is shoddy .We feel ripped off or taken advantage of . Work done 10-2019 .

Omg. I called many other plumbing companies and they charged overly expensive. But when I called Pronto Plumbing they had given me a price much lower and one I coould afford. If I hadn't called this company , I would have a hole in my pocket. They came within an hour and unclogged my drains. I will definitely use them for every problem I have with my plumbing in the future .

We called Pronto because our water heater was not working for the house and we were referred by our neighbor. They came out within a hour and fixed the problem. They were able to replace just a part and got us hot water that day. They are my go to plumbing company if I have any problems in the future. Thank You Guys!

I am really happy with Pronto Plumbing Because they are very professional and quick to come and provided me with AWESOME service. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them, they are all very experienced plumbers and will get the job done and done right especially in emergency situations.

Pronto was really fast at getting out and easy to reach. I chose to pass when I was told it would be $295 to unclog (snake) a bathroom sink, and got charged an $85 diagnostic fee which did not include the cause of the clog.

This company made a stupid mistake and flooded my father’s house. Now, my elderly Dad has to move out of his house to repair the damage. Don’t use this company!
