This plumbing service was assigned to us last week through American Home Shield home warranty. A very incompetent plumber was sent to us to repair basic toilet water leak into the bowl. The 1st repair left us with a non flushable, constant leaking toilet and water damage to our bathroom and bedroom. The 2nd repair left us a messy toilet with black water streaks and trash. He didn't tighten the connecting part well and caused water burst that flooded our bathroom with over 1 of water and soaked the carpet. We managed to turn off the water valve to stop the water before he came back to fix it. He vacuumed out the water and told us to leave fan on and carpet would dry in a few hours. Carpet was not dry. We have water remediation company come out to check and found 6-8 up from the base of the walls were still wet 2 days later. Holes need to be drilled to allow professional drying and patched back up. Sent them the estimate and requested the billing process to charge them so we can start the drying work but receive no response. We called AHS to complain the problem but got cold answer that AHS is not responsible or liable for contractor's negligence that caused damages to us and we need to resolve it directly with the contractor!!! It looks like we need to take them to court and report them to state attorney general, consumer bureau...etc to get thing resolve. You have been warned. Run away as fast as you can from AHS and this plumbing company.

Have a home warranty systems through American Home Shield (Have fired them now after only 2 weeks). Had a claim in for a dead water heater. 5 days, NO response. No return of at least 10 telephone calls. Get a random text saying we'll get you scheduled. Really. Thanks for that. Not a way to run a business with lack of communication or response. Seeing the other threads, I fired AHS because the two plumbing firms they contract with have a bad reputation that apparently does not bother them.

I had a great experience with Pennington Plumbing. They were able to schedule an appointment for me right away, and their plumber arrived on time and was very friendly. He took the time to explain the issue to me and was very impressed with their service. Would definitely use them again.

The worst contractor experience I’ve ever encountered in my life. Set up repair appointment with them through AHS on March 7th as of today April 17th my leak is still not fixed because they are liars. They‘ve told me and my wife that this easy fix would be done by end of week for several weeks. Run as far from them and this service as possible. It’s not worth it and their workmanship is not great but their professionalism is worse than I ever imagined.

I've used Pennington Plumbing for many different jobs at my home.They are usually quick to respond and get the job done no matter how difficult. I had them replace a sewer ejection pump which most other plumbing companies wouldn't be able to complete.

Highly unprofessional, unskilled and messy non-professionals were sent to perform a simple clogged sink cleaning who ended up coming up with a weird explanation that the pipes went up to the roof and had to be cleaned from the roof which they didn’t perform. Left with dirty dripping equipment leaving a rusty trail on our porch and driveway. Didn’t bother to respond despite repeated texts and messages.

This company was assigned by American Home Shield Home Warranty. For the first appointment, technician showed up as expected. Did not complete the service saying they need more parts. After that, never showed up. Worst Plumbing Company ever in my entire life here in Bay Area. They never showed up for the appointments. Now, they don't even pick up the phone or reply to text messages. Very Very Very unprofessional. I would never use them in my life for any kind of plumbing services. No one should use it

Pennington Plumbing Services WORST service experience ever. My home warranty company “AHS” assigned PENNINGTON PLUMBING Services to fix a couple of leaks I had, since the leaks were causing secondary damage to the house the warranty company placed the service call as URGENT, however, from the get go I suspected there would be problems with the assigned contractor since it took a number of telephone calls and text messages just to set up an appointment for a few days later, and since he gave me a very large window appointment of 4 hours I requested the customary phone call when the technician was on his way so I had time to leave work to meet him at the house because I anticipated that nobody would be home, however, this guy didn’t have the courtesy to call me, he just showed up and of course I was not home, someone who happened to be at the house called me to tell me there was a plumber at the house looking for me, so I drove home from work in a rush to meet him, I almost missed him as he was already in his truck about to take off when I got home. He looked at the leaks and said that his boss Ron
would send the request for approval to the warranty company that evening and once approved he will return to do repairs, however, 2 weeks passed and this plumber Ron NEVER contacted the warranty company, NEVER sent the request to approve the repairs, NEVER returned any of my messages and NEVER answers the telephone and needless to say NEVER came back to complete the repairs, in the mean time the leaks continued to causing damage to the house, I kept calling the warranty company everyday 2-3 times a day and they said Pennington Plumbing had not submitted the diagnosis and or request for approval to do the repairs yet and they were unable to contact him, AHS said their contractors have up to 72 hours to submit their request for approval but this guy never did it even after 2 weeks. The home warranty company would not assign another contractor to do my work until they could talk to him and hear from him that he was not interested in doing the work, at one point I believe AHS was able to contact him and he told them he would send the paperwork but never did, at that point I cancelled the service request and started all over again with a new service call. Pennington Plumbing in my opinion is a VERY unreliable and irresponsible business, my advice is stay away from this guys or you will regret it greatly. I filed a complaint with the Customer Relations Department of the Warranty Company regarding my experience with PENNINGTON PLUMBING SERVICES hopefully they see it for what it is and drop this unreliable plumber from their Contractor Network, we certainly don’t need this kind of unreliable service people in our homes nor the Home Warranty Companies needs this kind of Contractors giving a bad reputation to their business.
The new contractor assigned to repair my leaks contacted me promptly set up an appointment to look at the job the following day and submitted the paperwork to the Warranty Company on the same day and it was approved within a few hours.

Very knowledgeable crew, they got a difficult job (sewer injector pump) done right the first time and in a very timely matter. I liked how they did the work and it was good to see that they knew exactly how to fix the problem and I was very happy with their work. Ron the owner, was always there to answer the many questions that I had, and he was very diligent in helping me getting the coverage from my home insurance. Job well done Ron, keep up the good work, I will refer you to my friends and family should they ever need an excellent plumber?

I’ve used Pennington Plumbing for over 10 years for my home. they’ve always done a great job for my home on even the most complex and urgent situations. The owner and his team is very responsive and competent. the owner Ron been great to work with over the past 10 years. I would highly recommend them to even my best of friends

If AHS insurance assigned this contractor call them and ask them to change your contractor right away. I have a hot water heater issue AHS assigned the contractor.
1. Contractor never call or respond to you. I called the contract and they ask me to send them picture of the water heater so I did and still no respond after that. I call them again they say the have the part order and should arrive by tomorrow they will contact me to schedule for the replacement, so I have waited for but still no call or text. I give them another call they say will call you back in about an hours or earlier to schedule and install replacement. Waited again and still no call. Call them back my phone send to voicemail leave message but still no respond and also texted.
2. Finally they texted me that the earliest install and replacement is tomorrow between 12-4 PM with a 30 minute call notice. Early in the morning I text them to make sure that they are coming no reply from text, So it was I figured they will not show up. I give them a call and same thing my call send to voicemail every single time. Don't belief what the guys say over the phone have a lot of excused. Hope they are out of business soon with the kind of service.
3. I call AHS insurance and they re-assigned to a different contractor and I told them if next time I file a service if the assigned my service to Pennington Plumbing Services I will never renew my contract cancel my service for good. This is a very bad and unproffessional plumbing service company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR SERVICE REPAIR. THEY JUST TRY TO DELAY YOUR SERVICE AND NEVER SHOW UP.

We called them for primarily one issues but we had 3 others less urgent that we asked them to quote. They fixed the urgent issue but never got back to us. I even called and left a message to follow up- nothing.

While they where here- the service person did not seem super excited to be working and his knowledge was kind of I don't know. I will take some pictures and we will get back to you.

Follow up note- I DID personally call them after to follow up. No restrictions mentioned by them or the person that came to my house.

My advise- find another provider.

Had an issue with garbage disposal. This company assigned through AHS.
I called, emailed and texted. They never returned calls. I finally reached someone a week later after request. They seemed kind and they scheduled service. 1 hour before service request they cancelled due to a child emergency. Totally get that. They said they would be out following Friday or sat. No show, no call, no email, no text. I called and emailed and texted Monday. Nothing. Got an email they closed service. No communication.
Gave them benefit of doubt. Assigned second time again no communication.
Don’t go with this company unless you want to waste your time and money

Like so many other bad reviews here, Pennington was assigned by our home warranty company to service what is suspected to be a bad well booster pump leading to very poor water pressure within our house. After many initial calls, I was able to actually speak with Pennington. They agreed with it being a bad booster pump based on my description and started the process of ordering a new booster pump, with the idea is they would order it and only have to make one trip out. After several weeks of waiting for the pump to apparently arrive (and multiple calls on my end to try to get a status update), Pennington set up an appointment to come to the house for the installation. This appointment was ~10 days after they supposedly received the pump (I get it, pandemic has impacted a lot of businesses). Unfortunately, they never showed up the day of the appointment and now after multiple days of calls, emails and texts, I can not get a hold of anyone. Apparently this is a relatively common thing for them. I have requested my warranty company reassign the claim. I have been nothing but frustrated and disappointed with Pennington, now 5 weeks after originally reaching out to them to set up an appointment. If you have another option, I would strongly recommend booking service with another company.

Agree with several other reviewers. They are absolutely unresponsive, irrespective of whether it's an emergency or not. I am wondering if this experience is reserved for their AHS assigned customers only or if this is how they are with all their customers. It's quite shocking that a company with this kind of service can continue to exist as a business. Switch to another company the moment AHS assigns them to you so as to avoid wasting any time, specially when in an emergency.

I can't advise against going through Pennington more!
I submitted a claim through Fidelity Home Warranty to have my bathtub serviced since I was getting no hot water flow and they contracted Pennington to handle it. They out came, took a brief look at the plumbing line in to the tub (cutting a hole in the wall of the tub to do so) where they didn't find anything. They explained that the issue must be downstream near the start of the pipe and that the warranty company would follow up to have someone look at that. Instead, they reported the work as complete to the warranty company!
I called the warranty company and explained to them that the problem was not resolved, and they agreed to send the plumber back out to solve the issue. After that, Pennington proceeded to ghost me for a month until the warranty company canceled the work order altogether. So now I'm left where I started with the addition of a hole carved out of the wall of my tub..

I have used Pennington Plumbing for several different jobs now. Quick response, aways on time and does clean fast work. I highly recommend them. Each time I have used for a different service and have never have they had to come back to fix prior work. Works quickly too. Always appreciate them!

I was assigned Pennington Plumbing through Fidelity Home Warranty in 3/2021. A guy, took a look at my leaking kitchen sink for 10 seconds and said I needed a new faucet, and they would order it. Several days later Ron called and confirmed they were ordering the faucet, and then when it came in, called and scheduled an appt for the next week for it to be installed.

Then... no one ever showed up, no one called, no one answered my texts. It was if they'd closed their doors. Very rude and unprofessional. Fidelity couldn't reach them either but said they'd been paid (since they showed up once) so wouldn't refund the $75 deductible. I finally had to call my cc company to convince Fidelity to refund the deductible. I still never heard back from Pennington. An apology would be appreciated.

My only problem was contractor was assigned on Friday 3PM, but could not get response, and weekend we ended up waiting as they do not work. Monday they responded quickly and fixed. Nice work. Hope we can get some weekend work response also.

I got assigned to this vendor by my home warranty company for repairing a broken water heater. In one word, they are unresponsive. They have a secretary who always asks you the same questions when you call. Your name, phone number, address, email for verification (just to make it hard for you every single time). Then she will give you false promises you that she's going to reach out to the technician and they will call you. But you will never get a call. Horrible experience.

Water heater repair DISASTER. Got referred to Pennington plumbing by American Home Shield. The technician was quick to come out and tell us that the water heater needs to be replaced. And after that it has been a month of chasing him around. They have not submitted the diagnosis to AHS for 1 month, we have been calling them multiple times and the lady at the answering machine just takes a message and no response from the owner. AHS has been trying to reach them as well and no luck. These folks are super unresponsive and highly recommend to look elsewhere.

I got the service through Fidelity National Warranty with a recent purchase of a single detached house. They did not fix the toilet leakage issue and asked time to order a new part and reschedule. No one followed through so I called and then confirmed a rescheduled appointment via phone with someone who answered the listed phone #. But it was a no show and it took several attempts to finally get a response from them from a text. Then they totally denied they have made a rescheduled appointment. Completely unprofessional. It feels like a scam really. Definitely will file a complaint to BBB.

UPDATED: It is sad to read other reviews and realize this company uses very similar tactics to “serve” their customers. If there is an option to rate them at negative stars, I would totally do it. Tell your warranty company not to dispatch your work orders to this plumbing service to avoid wasting time and unhappiness.

Pennington Plumbing Services: Incompetent and unresponsible contractor, simple order of replacing bath tub faucet set did not get fixed for over three months period, after two attempts and failed, the owner asked me to order my own new trim kit and promised to have it installed the second day, they drop the promises. I am holding all the communications records for the following sequence of event as proof of their dishonest, rudeness, unresponsible and misleading to its customer, starting from company top level.

I got this company through my home warranty company.

1. 07/13 - Initial appointment day, the service guy replaced the cartridge only not the trim kit and yet did not make it work properly, only warm and hot water from the faucet, there is no way to get cold water. Reported the issue, I was told new trim kit needs to be ordered before it can be completely fixed
2. 07/14 – 08/02: Ron, the owner of Pennington Plumbing Services kept giving me many false updates about the order status of the new arriving date for trim kit , none of them was turned out to be true. Ron often did not respond my continuing text message for few days
3. 08/06 – finally He claimed getting the trim kit handy and scheduled 08/17 for second attempt of fixing my issue.
4. 08/17 – The repair man did not have the trim kit as promised while arrived, after few minutes, he still claimed issue got fixed and left. The handle dropped off on the same night when the shower was first used. It was found then there is no screw to tight the handle at all and it was just hooked there freely.
5. 08/18 - I reported this issue to Ron and then was told that the trim kit was obsolete and could no longer be ordered anymore (in reality on 08/06, he texted to claim have possessed the trim kit in his hand, what a lie!) So he was actually fully aware the whole time of the fact that no trim kit was going to be replaced on scheduled session of 08/17 while still pretending in fixing the issue by replacing something did not exist.
6. 08/21 – After few days of pushing from my end, Ron offered to have the trim kit installed for me if I order the it myself, he also provided one compatible brand/model. He promised to have it done one day after I get the trim kit. Even this did not make any sense to me as to why after being waiting for so long, he did not have the proper part after saying “I got it” and why I have to buy it, but by then, I was so tired and frustrated with the whole drama already and just wanted to have it done over with. I took the offer.
7. 10/05 – my order arrived, I informed Ron for schedule appointment, again, no response for another week.
8. 10/12 - after many of my text messages, he finally setup for 10/14 b/w 12-2pm
9. 10/14 – Serve as a reminder, I sent text in early morning to confirm appointment again, no one showed up and I texted Ron twice again @ 2:20pm (20 minutes after the window ends), he replied “let me check” and then disappear again.
Today, 10/15 – I did not get any response/explanation for non-showing after 3 text messages starting early morning. I gave up, I am shocking that this company can still in business for being so dishonest, rudeness, unresponsible and misleading its customer, starting from company top level. This got to be stopped before more customers get into same situation,

Which address did you use to search in your database? I don't think i disclose this in any of my comments. I wonder how you said you never worked with me without verifying the address of mine.

And yes, you came to my house to check the faucet on Wed, June 23, 2021. How come you say you never worked for me?

It is unprofessional and makes me feel like there is no management at all. I don't know if anyone is answering the call, responding the message or actually solve any issues. I am the owner of the property and I had an appointment with a plumber at 8:30 to 10 AM. The plumber just didn't show up without any notification. I wasted a whole day (I even had to ask for a PTO for it) waiting for him from the very early in the morning as the appointment time. I tried to call but it said today (a normal Friday) is not in business and asked me to leave a message. Of course, no one called back.

I am really unhappy about this experience, and would NOT recommend it.

Our water heater doesn't turn on. So our home insurance company Fidelity Home Warranty sent Ron. He came to our house on 9/7 and said that a cartridge needs to be replaced and that he was going to write a report to get the work started. That was it. We haven't heard from him since. Today is 9/23. We have been calling and texting him. No reponse whatsoever. We have also been contacting the insurance company, and they tried to contact him. Unfortunately, and frustratingly looks like we are stuck with this Pennington contractor. Looks like we would have to find our own contactor and get the water heater fixed at our own expense. We realized that Pennington isn't the root cause of bad services. The root cause is our home warranty company, who does a bad job vetting contractors.

I gave them way too many chances! My home warranty company selected Pennington Plumbing to come out to look at a leak in my garage ceiling. When they came out the leak dried up. I was told to call back if it started leaking again. It did, so I called. It took a week for them to respond, but only after having the Home warranty company contact them first. He said they were so busy, so I said if they were too busy I would find someone else. He said no they'll be able to come out. Then they finally scheduled an appointment after more excuses about how busy they are. No one showed up for the appointment! I once again contacted the home warranty company to get a new company come out. After the Home warranty again contacted Pennington he said there was no plumbing leak, it was my dishwasher which is what Itold him I thought it could possibly be. They never actually came out to see for themselves. I am so appalled at the lies they told and lack of service I received. The guy was nice, but didn't actually get anything done. They have wasted my time, and lots of it! I would give them negative stars if I could. Disgusting way to run a business.

Manny is the man. Our shower was having draining issues and I tried everything to try and solve it. Manny came out the next day and fixed our situation at a very fair price and my only regret is that I didn’t call him sooner. Thanks manny and team! You’re definitely my first call anytime I come across plumbing issues again.

I applied for repairs on 17May2022, and someone called me on the first day to ask about the situation, and there has been no response since then. I called their company every day, and they answered and immediately asked the technicians to contact me. They lied to me every time. After 9 days, I really had no choice but to change to another company, and it was solved in 2 days. So unreputable companies like this are not worth recommending.

He came prepared and ready to go ,replaced my leaking faucet in less than 20 minutes . checked for any other leaks and done .Manuel and his partner were very pleasant,polite,professional . I will use them again for all my plumbing needs . THANK YOU !

I have been extremely satisfied with this company. It has been my best experience with any other contractor EVER!
Called for an appointment for a leak underneath the master bath. Got a text the next day with a Saturday appointment between 10-12. They asked me to send some pictures so they can be prepared for the repair and it won't delay the process. I sent the pictures.
They showed up @ 10:15, extremely polite, very clean. They put their booties on and came to the house with their masks on. Went to the crawl space and 50 minutes later, they were done with 2 major leaks that were under the house. I asked them to check for other possible leaks and sure enough they found one right behind the one that I was not aware of and did not knew about. They fixed that one also. They had extra pipes just in case. They finished their job and cleaned the entire area that they were working around it.
Among all the dissatisfactions that I have had with a lot of contractors, this company gets 10 star in my books and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a professional and reliable company to work with.
I highly recommend this company. I don't know about the other comments but my experience with this company was outstanding. I am a real estate agent and I have worked with many contractors but the work they did on 07/31/2021 needs to get a recognition.

I have used Pennington Plumbing three to four different times. Ron's guys do a fine job. I understand the complaints but the key is to be patient and persistent. Good plumbers are really busy and in demand. I would use Pennington again.

I dont know how such company can be in business after repeatedly treating customers so badly.

I had a water heater leakage and got set up with Pennington Plumbing service thru AHS. They were very responsive and came to my home to fix it within 24 hours. I was very surprised that I got the earliest appointment next day and the operator was really trying to help! The technician Tom was the one helped us on this case, he is super friendly and taught me some basic knowledge since I just recently moved in to single house. The leakage was from hot water connection pipe but he went extra mile to also replace my cold water pipe as it's quite old. The overall experience is awesome and I will definitely recommend Pennington Plumbing service to anyone who needs plumbing service!

I had Pennington Plumbing fix multiple issues in my bathroom including 2 toilets, a faucet and two sink plugs. One of my toilets has been getting plugged regularly since 2016. I have had at least 4 or 5 different plumbers come to fix it without success. Ron from Pennington recognized the problem from my description over the phone and had a solution prior to arrival. He said it is unacceptable to leave a problem unsolved. All my problems were fixed and I finally don't have to deal with a problem toilet. Ron was so responsive even on off business hours when I had some questions he responded right away. I have now found my go to plumbing company! So grateful to get professional service!

We moved in a new house 4 months ago and one of the shower had no hot water and the water pressure was very low. Since then several technician came from different other plumbing companies and all failed to fix the issue. For some technicians, I can tell from how they work that they don't have the experience and also their attitude is low. almost 4 months passed, issue wasn't fixed. However, this time which is last Tuesday there were two guys came from Pennington Plumbing Service Company, one is a very Senior guy and the other guy is a new guy in training. Both are very frankly and know what they are doing, quick identify the root cause of the issue and with their hands on skills start work right away and then within one hour I can see that my shower start working! Then they tried to clean the floor and I said I can do that. However, the Senior guys said to me that it's their responsibility! How sweet they are! My wife ask me to write down this Company name and in case for later connection. What should I say? I highly recommend Pennington Plumbing Service Company.

Ron and the team at Pennington Plumbing are consummate professionals. In spite of us having to work through our home warranty company (and the delays that come with the process), Ron was very responsive, helpful and flexible in his approaches to addressing our issue. Pennington Plumbing was outstanding & fixed a myriad of issues at my home. They responded promptly to my service call & the owner rearranged the schedule to accommodate me the following day, however, I messed up the time. Therefore, despite coming to my house and returning the same day when I was unavailable, the owner at Pennington still adjusted the schedule once again, and came back within two days of my misunderstanding & resolved all my issues. Furthermore, Jesus, the plumber that fixed many items, was awesome concerning skill, speed, and overall demeanor: really cool guy. I have had a lot of poor service contractors through American Home Shield (AMS), due to this warranty co. undercutting their vendors (i.e. first hand knowledge and experience AMS fails to pay contractors sufficiently for parts and labor, often below cost). Clearly, staff at Pennington are more concerned with integrity and workmanship at a time where this is not common. This is an exceptional company and I really can't say enough how impressed I am.

The service is excellent! Our water heater was broken. The service person was at our townhouse the very next day and quickly diagnosed the problem. Sine we have a home warranty, the plumbing company followed up to check on the paper work. They replaced the water heater the very next day. Although we were not at home during the installation, the work was done very well. They even disposed the broken unit. Excellent service, thank you!

I would hire Pennington again. ewe hired them to replace our kitchen faucet. Tom our service representative was very considerate and helpful. He even identified a leak from our water filter (which was not my original reason for needing service) and assisted me with the repair. I was also impressed how Ron Pennington took the time to explain our faucet connection (it was a high end part from a European manufacturer) and he also followed up a few days later to see how everything was working.

Went through my home warranty in May to schedule work on a shower. They said they had to order parts and would call when they came in. It’s been 4 months and they continuously dodge my calls and Texts. I called my home warranty and they answer THEIR calls and they tel me they’ll call me within the week but they do NOT. Don’t waste your time with these people.

I wish I could give them no stars. My sink broke and my landlord gave these guys a call and told them to contact me to schedule a time to fix it. After a week, I never received a call and had to call them myself and scheduled a time for them to come out. I took the day off to wait for them and they never showed up! I call back a second time to reschedule and the guy says he will return my call but never calls me back. I call back a third time and there's no answer. These guys are unreliable. It's been two weeks since our initial conversation and my sink is still broken. Definitely avoid this business.

Went through our home warranty co and needed To clear a mainline drain fast! I was able to schedule someone to come out within 24hrs and on a weekend! Ron and team were very friendly and helpful. The technician (Jose?) was on time Sat morning and very friendly. He went right to work and was able to clear our clogged mainline within a half hour. Great work and highly recommended.

first, they came and found the waterheater is broken and promised to inform insurance company to get approved, that's 6 weeks ago. then we kept waiting for 2 weeks, no response, then we call them, no answer for phone calls. Then we call American Home Shield for what is going on, they never respond to the American Home Shield phone call and we call them basically every single day, zero response. the entire company is DEAD!

I've used Pennington Plumbing at our primary residence and rental properties for over 15 years. I had a home warranty on the rental property and their process was to randomly dispatch plumbing companies to provide service. 99% of the time I had to call Ron Pennington to come fix what I'd already paid another company to repair. I cancelled the home warranty and deal with Pennington Plumbing directly now. They provide excellent service at fair rates and are role models for conducting business ethically.

Guess zero stars is not an option. My home warranty selected this vendor, did not show up until the warranty company had to step in to call. When they did show up , I had more problems after they left than to begin with. 'You make the call'

This company has been assigned to me by my home warranty and has not fixed my faucet pressure issue for nearly 2 months now.first time they came and made some change which did not fix the issue. Later they have been giving some lame excuses that plumbing is not upto code, while they are unaware I had the whole house repiped with proper city permit. Worst thing is they have been blamong home warranty for not approving. Where as the fact I see is they don't even show up for Appointment
This has already occurred 2 times. To make it bad they close the issue with home warranty as fixed and collect their deductible while issue is not fixed.
I am left in limbo between this company and home warranty. Owner Ron is a sweet talker and will give all sort of guarantees on phone and talk about having records on computer which cannot be seen on phone. But end result is my issue is not fixed and this company didn't show up. Even when they showed up in past just took pictures and went away.
I wish those guys learn to respect others time and money.

John is the office manager. When I was referred to them by my home warranty, the guys came buy, looked at the issue and said they'll reach out to me and they still haven't. When i reached out to John, he said one of them doesn't work there and issue closed. I told him it is not my problem but he suggested reach out to home warranty and hung up. I would not recommend this place at all. Even if your HW recommends this, ask them for a different plumber.

I am very happy with the work and professionalism from the Pennington team. They replaced and connected a 2nd sewage line at my house--a fairly big job. They were thorough about assessing the problem, finding and marking where the old pipes ran under the ground (so they don't dig unnecessarily), and doing a proper job. Big shout out to Tom, he is easy to work with and trustworthy. Also appreciate the quick turnaround and flexibility shown by Ron to accommodate my schedule etc.

This company is useless. I contacted then on a Friday and their next available appointment was the following Wednesday between 8:00 am and noon. They asked for my phone number to call before they arrived. I waited until 2:30 pm . When I called the office they probably couldn't find the right apartment. This is a triplex and they had my phone number. They said they would try to contact Mike on Thursday and hopefully he would be able to be here Saturday. I haven't heard back. My concern is if they make such a mess with a simple request for service what will be the quality of the product they install, the quality of the installation and I need to call then back for a repair. Sorry guys you can't be trusted.

I had good, very quick service from Pennington. They expedited based on our particular situation, came out to diagnose the problem (turned out to be related to a water filter rather than air trapped in system). He gave some advice about related things with the water system. I plan to use them in the future.

We have left numerous messages regarding our claim to be sent to our insurance company as we have a propane leak inside our house through the water heater. I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been having to deal with Ron not responding to us and not sending our claim so that we can get this fixed. On top of that his employee broke the control knob on our water heater and didn’t mention it to us at all. We discovered it after the employee left.

Wow after reading the reviews I felt the need to mention that this is %1000 covered by our insurance. They have not even sent the report. And just in case it is mentioned that they have no record of our service I’m attaching a photo of the conversations proving otherwise. Crazy that I would have to do this but after reading the reviews and the responses from the owner it seems necessary. I have blocked our personal information for our privacy.

Booked Pennington plumbing through AHS home warranty company.

1) Raised service request with AHS on 06/21 and tried to schedule appointment but no response. Got response after 2 day(Assumed they would be busy), scheduled appointment. Cancelled appointment 1 hour before mention his truck is stolen, gave him benefit of doubt. Rescheduled appointment after 2-3 days.

He was very nice to me and no complain about behavior.

2) During Appointment, 2 guys came and fixed issues and told what needs to be done next. No complains here.

3) As i needed to change leaky faucet and AHS covers only basic one so i asked Ron if i can buy my own faucet and if you would be able to reimburse the amount which you get from AHS. He agreed and helped me find correct Faucets. He was responding to calls/message. I also informed him water shutoff. I was happy that he is good.

4) I completed work with help of HOA plumber(water shutoff) and Pennington.

5) ****Asked for money which he owes***
Please see message screenshots, he have not given me money or responded to my text/call. I has been months but no response. It not professional at all. If there are any issues with payment, he should inform me... My amount is not big(~$200-300). I tried to call this morning as well he did not pick, also did not respond to text

Hired through my home warranty, first technician came and supposedly fixed the problem although I did my best to leave a detailed note ,didnt even bothered reading it I guess, phone call after phone call , text after text nothing really happened, promised a date to come out, never happened, in the mean time I have a non operative and leaking toilet with towels on the floor to stop the water leak, is it really that hard to give some customer service?
