created a request to Fidelity Home Warranty, and they assigned The Honest Plumber!!!! As contractor. The representative came to my home and said I don't have a spare part now and needed to order. I wait for more than a month for a simple flapper and nothing. So I went to Home Depot, bought a flapper, and changed it. And call Home Warranty to cancel the service but still get bills for diagnoses. Though I explained utterly what is the issue and didn't need any diagnostic.

I have a sewage backup in my bathroom. After waiting a week for an appointment they showed up 5 1/2 hours after the start of my window. The 'supervisor' sat in the car while the 'apprentice' proceeded to tell me they'd need to come back days later to let the water subside. The supervisor claims they have no tools to remove water and that I'm responsible for any flooding that happens when they remove the toilet. After waiting a week - with a sewage backup - I'm told to wait some more. By a professional who has no tools to remedy a very common plumbing issue.

3 weeks later I've paid them twice with absolutely no resolution. They are telling my insurance company I have a collapsed pipe but they do not have a camera or technology that can prove that. As a result my insurance company won't cover their costs.

At best this company lacks the ability to do basics. At worst they are a scam.

Let me start by saying that “honest” is not a word that I would use to describe my experience with this company. I was told directly by the plumber (Jeff) who came to my home to diagnose my issue, that he would need to bring a camera to identify the location of a leak in the sewage line that we all could hear and smell inside my house. I heard nothing for a week and then found out that the work order had been closed out by the warranty company after Jeff told them that there was there was no problem. I went back and forth with the warranty company and the Honest Plumber front office for several weeks. The warranty company simply said that if the plumber reports that he needs to do further work to diagnose a problem, the work order would be authorized. I communicated this to The Honest Plumber office and this supposedly happened with a newly scheduled appointment showing up in my inbox. An hour before the appointment Jeff called to tell me the work order was again canceled. He further had the audacity to tell me once again that if he couldn’t see any leaking water (2 stories below) under the house, that there was no leak and that just because I smell something doesn’t mean there is a leak. So clearly, what Jeff says and what Jeff does are two different things, and his concept of customer service, not to mention value for the company, is incredibly lacking. I have a new appointment with a different plumber.

Two technician showed up without mask at my doorstep. I asked them to put on mask since I'm pregnant, and they refused to do so saying the mask mandate is now lifted. Would encourage folks to AVOID their service as they definitely DO NOT CARE about their customers at all.

Theu are the worst plumber ever. They will book you in two to three weeks. And bring in a wrong type of water heater for you . And wait another three weeks. And bring a water heater that won't work.
