I had been putting off some plumbing work after receiving a crazy quote from another company, but after seeing some recommendations from trusted neighbors, I gave them a call. Their work was excellent and their honesty saved me hundreds of dollars when one of my items could be repaired to like new condition instead of replaced. It seems rare to find such a trustworthy company that offers great service and value. I understand why so many step up and say “Hessian Plumbing” in local groups when a call goes out for plumbing recommendations. I know I’ll certainly be a part of that chorus from now on! Thank you!

I had replaced the faucets on one of our sinks which fixed a leak but then I noticed the hot water supply line was leaking at the shutoff. I was concerned it was maybe more than I could deal with so I called Hessians. They came on time (John) and after looking at my problem, fixed it in about 15 seconds. (Nut behind shutoff handle just needed to be tightened, I had no idea...) They did not charge me for the service call. That is above and beyond, professional service! Hessians will be my number one call next time I need plumbing work. Thank you!

Water softener failed, called Hessian they quoted price and said they would be able to install Thursday morning at 7 AM. Plumber showed up on time and started right in. Hour and half later he was showing me how to operate. I have used Hessian before and they do excellent work. Thanks for the great service.

Great service, great price, and great experience. Matt was tremendously helpful in getting a gas line capped-off and took the time to explain how the gas flow in my house was laid out. He even helped plan a bit for some future work I want to get done. I would highly recommend their service.

Amazing experience! From the time I called in the morning until the job was finished I was very impressed! I had a leaking pipe in my basement. This business was not responsive. After working with Mike to get an estimate on a job, he stopped returning emails after initial estimate, just to ask a few questions. I’d tried for more than a week emailing and received no response. Mike seems like to string you along until he finds an easier job for higher return$$.

Gerve was great. He called 20 minutes ahead of time, arrived on time, and made an easy job of cleaning out our main sewer line. We had a crack in our sprinkler backflow preventer. They came out the same day, had it fixed within 30 minutes and were very reasonably priced! John who worked on the backflow inspected both inside and outside to ensure we did not have additional issues and was very courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

Hessian Plumbing is a first class operation. I'm working on finishing a basement down in Lakeville and was looking for a plumber to complete the plumbing for my bath. The owner Mike fielded my call and was extremely thorough in explaining what needed to be done, and was able to schedule me in quickly to complete the work. The gentlemen he sent out to do the install, Matt, was a true professional. Extremely courteous and very thorough. Matt ran the water lines, hooked up the shower setup, set the base for the shower, and vented the drainpipes. Matt even knew quite a few things about the city code that I would have easily missed. The work was spectacular and Hessian truly exceeded my expectations in every way!

He made quick work of replacing my pressure relief and 2 other valves (at a reasonable price too). Called them and the service was complete within a week. Hessian Plumbing was not responsive. After working with Mike to get an estimate on a job, he stopped returning phone calls and did not respond to email. We tried for more than a week (leaving multiple voicemails, emailing, etc.) to book the job, and received no response. Now we have the materials ready for the work, but no plumber! Really disappointed.

The tech was knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was here at 8:01 in our 8-12 window. He was in and out and gave good advice on how to keep the line clean. Instead of up selling their services he actually informed us the service would be less than what we were quoted. Absolutely a great experience.

Needed to have our water heater replaced. It was dated, starting to rust on the bottom, and wasn't providing adequate hot water. Without hesitation, we called Hessian Plumbing as we have used their services before and had been very satisfied. Mike and his team are awesome! He was able to work with our schedule and quickly set up an appointment to have John come to our home to replace the water heater. John arrived within the stated time frame. He was courteous, very nice, professional, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained exactly what needed to be done; and took great care in protecting our floors and carpet while taking out the old water heater and bringing in the new one. In the end, Hessian's price was fair--exactly as quoted, no hidden costs. We highly recommend them!

Mike was very responsive to my emails and calls. Price was right on par with what I was expecting, and the technician who installed my water heater (Matt) was friendly, professional, and efficient.

I'll definitely use Hessian again if the need arises. Avoid the big brand name shops and stick with the locally owned places, like this.

Don't expect any level of service if they are busy. Tried for a week to get them to come out and quote a bathroom rough-in, left several messages and they couldn't take 5 min to call back yet they strung me along via unproductive emails instead. I gave up and found another contractor.

I called Hessian plumbing about a leaky valve for my exterior water, Mike gave me a quote over the telephone. I was not ready to get this fixed due to winter coming and no need for a new valve. 2 weeks later I found that I had a leaky shower drain and called them back, Mike remembered our conversation about the exterior water valve. I scheduled my services within a couple of days, and the job was completed at a very reasonable price and done very well! Thank you Hessian plumbing.

A huge thanks to you and your team for fixing our tub drain. You had a someone to our house a week sooner than anyone else I called in the area and they were able to resolve our issue in less than 30 minutes. On top of that, you were able to give us the best price by far. Thanks to Matt for swinging back by and looking at our drain again when I saw something leaking that was not even caused by the work you did - but you fixed it anyway.

Quick, honest plumbers are hard to find. I'm so glad you guys are here in Eagan as I will be calling you back in to do some other projects we want to accomplish this Summer.

Couldn't get the lock nut off for the fill valve I had just bought. Mike the owner had a tech out pronto. Matt the tech was able to get the lock nut off and changed out the fill valve quickly. Very impressed with Mike the owners quick response and helping me out. Would use them again.

Update: had them back for faucet replacement. Piece of junk. Drips. Tech doesn't work but talks nonstop and gouges you on labor chage. Scam.

Had a solenoid valve on a central humidifer replaced along with a leaking saddle valve that supplied water to it. Issues resolved and pipes near to the valve replaced as well. All around good service. Offered to show up 6 days prior to originally scheduled time (and accepted). Final cost was 15% under originally quoted price.
