I purchased an annual protection plan from Bonney and am glad I did. Today, its service technician, Joey Ortega, came out and gave a thorough once-over to my AC system, before summer requires its regular operation. While the system is performing well and set for the summer, he pointed out that a ducting system installed when the house was built in 2002 did not allow inspection of the fan motor, which is one of the items - he explained - that goes out, first. He said that because the cowl covering the motor keeps it from being seen, the motor could leak and there'd be no way to keep it from failing and greater damage caused to my system. We discussed various options. Fore-warned, I now know what to do to avoid a big bill in the future. Joey was on time, very professional and explained the issues clearly. First-rate.
