Our warranty company sent out a new hot water heater to replace our broken one 3 weeks ago to Aul Plumbling. Since then every time he makes a appointment with us he has a excuse to not show up (his truck is broken, family emergency, food poisoning) or the last two times he just didn't bother to give a excuse and no showed us. Finally the warranty company is letting us use a different plumber. Do yourself a favor and don't use this guy.
As far as the Aul Plumbling response to my comments, none of that was true. My husband did not reschedule and we approved the charges as soon as we were told about them. I guess they don't realize that people get notifications when you respond to their review. Take care Aul Plumbing

Aul Plumbing has done all of my plumbing work since I bought my house in 2013. He always takes care of what I need done effectively and for a great price. 100% recommended!

Professional at its best and no plumber crack

Same story as others, assigned from First American Home Warranty. Been 5 days still no appointment. Number goes straight to voicemail and voice mailbox is full. I would normally assume there is a reason, but it seems that this is normal business practice as there are examples of this over and over.

5 Stars All The Way !! I called Dan the other morning concerning my Moms plumbing issues. He texted me back and said he was busy but could come at 3. He Called at 2 and said he was on his way !! He was very Professional and told me Not to Worry...I Got This. Needless to say he unclogged the drain in 20 min and was finished. Would highly recommend him and will use him again when needed. Great Service !!

Where do I start with these crooks. I can not even gather my words right now to show how furious I am with this company. We just bought a new home and this warranty came with the house. The toilets were running for the first 2 months we were here but we did not know until our first water bill came in the mail. It was very expensive and so we called the warranty company. They set us up an appointment with Thomas Plumbing and the guy never showed up. Best part is not once but three times! After the 3rd time the guy called me and said he was 30 minutes out. I was at work becuase the guy never showed yesterday and now they just put me on the schedule for the next day and no one bothered to call or confirm. I leave work to meet the plumber after he just called and said he would be there in 30 minutes and I work well within the timeline to meet him at the house. The plumber never showed up. I called him 4 times and he finally picks up the phone and says I was there but you were not. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY! We got into an argument on the phone and he hung up. I call back First American Warranty and they ask me if I want another tech sent out. They then set me up with AUL Plumbing and the guy showed up a couple days later and I paid him $100. He said he would get the authorizations in and order the parts. Over 2 weeks go by and I hear crickets from the plumber. After he ignored many texts finally he says the parts came in. We schedule 3 different times and all 3 times he no called no showed after taking numerous days off waiting from him to come 10-2 or 11-1. I am sitting here in shock he did not show up today and am currently on the phone with American First Warranty. They have offered me to send another tech and I am absolutely not spending one more missed day of work to wait around for these no call no show scam artists. For the amount of work missed I could have bought all 3 new toilets and had them installed or installed myself. I do not know if these contractors are the lowest bidders and that is how this company is picking them. But this is out of control, just to think if you had 3 contractors come and you owe them a $100 for a diagnosis...this company has just made $300 and on the 3rd guy you hope they actually show up to fix your problem! UNBELIVIABLE! Please save yourself the stress, the phone calls, your MONEY and have someone just come fix your next problem. This is a real scam!

Saw your comment and sad to say. I have not received any $ from the warranty company. I took the cash out after your numerous no call no shows. I have the phone records and texts to prove your lack of communication. You can't say you are coming and we take work off then to just text and say I am running late. This happened more than 2 times. The 3rd time I didn't even bother contacting you. I was not going to risk taking work off and losing money a 3rd time. 3 whole days without pay I took off.

Save yourself the hassle, don't try to work with this guy. He never showed up to appointments made by our warranty company. We had our bathroom out of commission for almost a week and then decided to hire someone else. Because of this guys unprofessionalism we are out $2000.
He lied to our home warranty company and because of this our claim was denied. Never communicated by phone, only text. Called out of work twice to meet him and never even showed up.

This company was selected by First American Home Warranty. This man came out QUICKLY, on a Friday, collected our $100 service fee, cashed the check immediately and then didn't respond to any text messages from me, my husband or the warranty company. Guess he just needed money for the weekend. Absolutely ridiculous!

I never received a call on the appointment date...could not reach after he did show up and did not have the decency to respond to messages left. My advice.....DO NOT USE THIS GUY !!!!!!

Was referred by home Warranty. Took 3 days before they were supposed to come look at the plumbing. On the 3rd day was cancelled. On the 4th day they never showed up, or answered phone calls and text messages. Lied to the Home Warranty Company and said I had a leak in my slab. First of all, they never came to my house and looked at anything. This company has zero integrity. I do not reccomend them to anyone. Be careful.

Danny was able to resolve a drain issue we had over the Thanksgiving weekend on ermegency notice in 24!hours. He was expedient, knowledgeable, reasonably priced , and professional. I will be using his services in the future .

I read the only other review with some surprise. My home warranty company assigned a work order to Aul Plumbing on December 27th. We were first contacted on January 2nd, a full week later. I believe the business was closed for the holidays? Nevertheless, I was promised the work would be scheduled the following day. No phone call, inbox goes to voicemail that is full. Unsatisfactory and unprofessional.

Update, Daniel did indeed contact me, was friendly and understanding, and we're trying to get this issue resolved. Fingers crossed!

Have been waiting for a service call for our hot water for two weeks. They claim they have tried to call before arriving but I haven’t received a single confirmed call from them and if they did call, they should have left a voicemail stating that they were trying to reach out to schedule. Common courtesy and I work in the customer service industry so I know what professionalism looks like. Requesting a new plumber through our warranty company if they don’t show tomorrow as “promised”. Will change the review once I have a true experience with them out of fairness but so far, they seem absolutely scummy.

Aul plumbing is a prompt and honest business. Danny came out within a day of me contacting him regarding my sump pump breaking. He identified the issue, found me a deal on the best replacement and finished the job within a week. Very nice guy, and great job.

Excellent service. He was very professional and courteous. He quickly identified the plumbing problem and corrected it. Also, he was very responsive to the messages we left on his phone. The day of the appointment he was running late. He called me about 1 hour prior to the appointment time to notify me of his slightly later arrival time. The previous plumber I had never responded to my messages, and missed an appointment without notification.

They were a good service overall. I was having leaking from my upstairs shower pipes and it was leaking into my upper cabinet and onto my oven. I think the first person they sent was new, because he seemed a little confused and he wasnt sure what the issue was. He mentioned they had to get approval from the Home Warranty company to fix the issue. I didnt hear back for a while, but I wasn't concerned since this was during the holidays. I struggled to get them on the line around January, so I let my Home Warranty company know. The business responded pretty quick after that and the next guy they sent was PHENOMENAL. He was extremely friendly, identified the issue very fast, he went and got the piece right away, and the repair was quick. If the second tech was sent originally, this would have been 5 stars all the way! I just reduced 1 star due to the first tech and the length of time to hear back. Again, not a big deal since this was during the holidays and I understood the delay.

I just moved into a condo & had issues with the faucet in my shower. The hot water would not stop running and leaking. I have had this issue for over a week & attempted to get a contractor out through my home warranty company. Finally after issues with the last contractor not showing up, I was assigned Aul Plumbing. Daniel contacted me immediately. He even worked with me & was able to accommodate coming out after I got off work so I didn't have to take off. On the day of my appointment, Daniel contacted me and updated me on his ETA. As soon as Daniel arrived to my property he fixed my issue within a matter of 15 minutes. Daniel knows what he is doing and is very professional. I would highly recommend him!

Professional and even helping to fix a problem our home warranty caused. It’s not always easy to resolve problems like that and he did so in a professional manner. I look forward to working with them to complete a project.

First American home warranty really needs to stop using this company for their customers . Had a scheduled appointment yesterday and was a no show . Didn’t call or message until 45 min past our window to tell me to reschedule . Rescheduled for today to only get no answers or responses again . Had to call the warranty company to get a different company assigned to my order . I understand that holiday season gets busy, however that’s no excuse for the terrible customer service provided .

AUL Plumbing did an excellent job. He was very courteous, on time, reasonably priced. I will call him for any future problems I might have.

Daniel is a very hard worker, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Daniel really takes care of his clients which is very appreciated. I admit that many contractors are very disappointing BUT not Daniel. He took time to return my call after work hours and made possible the repairs of 3 defective bathroom sinks within 4 days. I recommend Daniel for your plumbing needs!

Absolutely a waste of time. They didn’t show up nor communicate with us or the warranty company.

I am a Realtor in the Hampton Roads area. Aul Plumbing was assigned thru First American for some warranty work, but I also needed an emergency walk-through repair.

They called within 15 minutes of receiving the warranty assignment, and we were able to meet later that day to confirm the work. The repairs were completed in a timely manner (water heater, and leaky drain pipes in crawl)...with none of those mysterious uncovered 'modifications'.

Also responded quickly to my walk-through emergency, completing a repair by the end of the same day.

After going around and around with a warranty company over another company that was not responding, AUL was assigned. He is only a one man team but went out of his way to be communicative and answer our questions and concerns as we had water running in the house with no way to shut it off outside of turning the water off to the whole house. I definitely recommend him, as he came as soon as he could and managed to fix the problem easily. He is skilled, polite, and professional. Thanks Daniel!

Used Home Warranty I was given Thomas Plumbing they never showed up, after two days of trying to contact them i gave up. What kind of business doesn't even call. I refused to use Thomas Plumbing ever again and the Home Warranty provided Aul Plumbing. The best decision that was made by the Home Warranty company to go with Aul Plumbing. Great service and outstanding updates. Thank-you!

Aul plumbing was competitively price and responded timely to my call. Daniel was polite and taught me how to prevent future sink issues. Bonus, he cleaned around the area he worked! I would recommend Aul Plumbing.

Aul plumbing was very professional and very reasonably priced. Danny works with a smile and is very cleanly.

Hired AUL plumbing directly and they arrived on time to help me replace a faucet. Assessing that I still had a leak (not related), Danny hopped on the phone to set up an appointment for that service. He subsequently came and fixed 5 bathroom faucets, a toilet leak and a tub drainage issue. He was honest and up front with costs and scheduling. Will definitely use again.

I called Aul plumbing for an overflow problem in my downstairs bathroom, despite having a full schedule that day Mr Aul came that very evening around 5:30 and had the problem handled in less than an hour. I was so grateful for the prompt service considering I had water flowing from the drain pipe into my home. Great service, professional, and prompt! Thumbs up on this one! Thanks Aul Plumbing!! You saved the day outside in the dark and freezing cold! Grateful!

On time and fairly priced

They do not perform the work they said they would do. They lie to you. They are terrible at customer service. I recommend anyone other than aul plumbing.

Not sure why the google reviews are so different from the ones on yelp. We were matched with this company by our home warranty company. They were a huge pain to get a hold of. They never answered our phone calls and instead would text to set up appointments. Except they never showed up for any of these appointments. They were supposed to come out on a Wednesday and texted us that morning that they were running a few hours late. Okay no problem. That afternoon I texted for an update. They didn't respond until 9pm that night and said they'd call us tomorrow to reschedule. Days went by and we never heard from them so I had to text them again to set up a new appointment. Which of course, they no-showed again. We were unable to get a hold of them again so we had to call the home warranty for a new company. Very disappointed.

I had extreme back up in my upstairs plumbing. Owner, Danny was easy to reach. Easy to set up an appointment, finished project in a timely manor, professional. And very reasonably priced. 10/10!!!!

This guy is a hack. Assigned through my home warranty company. Did not show up when scheduled. Did not call and did not text. Home Warranty company could not even get in touch with him. Finally responded to text and showed up the next day. Was there about 30 seconds and said appliance was working fine when anyone with eyes and ears would have known that item was not properly working. Now have to deal with hack home warranty company to try and get another contractor out there. Check Yelp reviews. Caveat Emptor! One of the most unprofessional contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. And he doesn't know the difference between seconds and minutes.

I attempted to use them through first home American gone warranty. They booked an automatic appointment which I could not make it to. I could not call back by the time they scheduled it because I can't have phones at work. The next day which was the scheduled appointment I tried to call them 7 times, left 4 messages, all that day to reschedule and still no reply. Now it is after working hours and I still have no kitchen sink. A call back would really be great... then I can actually review the services...
He called back, said he would try to work with me, then something else came up so he never made it out. And didn't contact me until i canceled the claim. Now he keeps messaging for new to remove the review so I moved it to 3 stars
