Called Tucson Plumbing for an estimate to install a second water line just to feed irrigation system. Ernesto arrived the day after I called, and within 5 minutes determined that a second line was not needed and the capability was already in place. The first estimate from a different firm quoted over $1800; Ernesto charged $69. Tucson Plumbing will get my business for life! It's great to find an honest and professional firm like Tucson Plumbing.

Last Friday at 2 pm we had an emergency plumbing issue at our home. I had an after-hour appointment with Tucson Plumbing booked. Prior to arrival, Mike (the plumber) called to ask a few questions. Within 5 minutes on the phone he diagnosed our problem and recommended we call a septic company. His professionalism saved us about $300.00 on this emergency call that would have NOT solved the problem. He was knowledgable and honest...what excellent qualities to have in one's employees!
I must also give thanks to Connor who answered my initial call and understood the need for immediate action. I didn't need Tucson Plumbing for this issue, but they will be the FIRST company I call in the future should I need plumbing services.

We had a water pipe coupler to an outdoor bib break on a faucet in the back yard and had to turn water off to the house. Our neighbor recommended Tucson plumbing. They were able to get here a few hours after we called and performed a quality repair. The plumber and staff were very friendly.

Dave came to our home with three tasks, install a new kitchen faucet, replace the disposal and fix one of the showers that was stuck in the cold water mode. I notice that he was very conscientious of our home by putting on shoe covers and using a tarp on our floor. He was quick, professional and knowledgeable about each of the tasks. Last Friday, 11-19-21, we replaced a tank hot water heater with a tankless hot water heating system. Ben came to our house for the estimate the week before, talking with us about our needs and the work necessary to install and vent the tankless system. He was punctual, professional, and personable. The quote he provided was also reasonable and affordable for us, especially compared to the first quote we got from another local plumbing company which, for the same work, was almost three times as high as Tucson Plumbing's quote.

Ben performed the install for us. Throughout the process, he was knowledgeable about what he was doing and also attentive to questions and concerns we had about disruption of water service to a separate plumbing line. He was careful and conscientious at each step, knowing what he needed to do and confidently and meticulously replacing the old tank heater with the new tankless system.

We couldn't have asked for a better plumber for our conversion from a tank hot water heater to a tankless hot water heater. The install was time consuming and Ben worked it straight through without taking a break, concentrating on getting the old heater out and the new one installed with minimal impact on us. He was pleasant at every turn and did not slack off in his work even when we had questions or checked on him from time to time to view his work and see his progress. He was neat in laying out what he needed to do at the outset of the install, and he left the work area as orderly as it had been on his arrival.

Ben is a great plumber, in our opinion, and a phenomenal representative for what can be expected from Tucson Plumbing. We are grateful to Ben and Tucson Plumbing for being quickly available to help us as our old hot water heater was getting ready to go -- it was leaking --, and we are thankful that they were willing to do the work without gouging us as the other local plumbing company was intent on doing with their outrageous quote.

Seemed to be spot on with understanding and fixing the problem

Bear with me on this one.

1) They installed new 3 new toilets in our home. So far, so good.

2) Maybe a week later one doesn't fill. Another smells like sewage, a little stronger in the morning and evening (in its own little room within the bathroom, so it's easy to isolate the cause).

3) They send out a technician to fix the problems. The non-filling one is easily fixed with a new fill valve. The other one has no visible problems i.e. leaks or p-trap. I am thinking it’s likely some issue with the seal, but what do I know? He recommends using some extra bleach, letting it sit then flushing it down to see if that will clear it up. If not it may just be a defective toilet and we can call back and they'll replace it. Seems reasonable to me, so I give it a shot.

4) It smells the same after trying the bleach. I call back. They send out the same technician, only this time my wife is there while I am at work. Then begins the real ordeal.

5) Upon arriving he uses the toilet and then asks my wife if the smell is still there. Well now it just smells like some took a dump, so no it was hard to tell. That’s so disgusting an unprofessional.

6) He says it’s a problem caused by other bathrooms and sinks that we don’t use as often which then dry out causing the smell. He says those must be run every day. First, if those sinks or toilets had dried out the smell would be coming from those p-traps. This is open and shut on the source because the toilet is isolated in its own small room with a separate door. Second, no one has to use every sink, toilet, and tub in their house every single day to keep a sewer smell out. So he is either lying, lazy, incompetent, or all three.

7) Texting with my wife through all of this, I tell her to ask him to check the seal between the toilet and the floor. He’s says he did already, which of course is impossible without removing the toilet. He then argues that he installed all three toilets the exact same way and there are no issues with the other two, implying that we are just wrong and should live with it.

7) After more discussion, he finally decides to do some actual plumber work. He goes out to his truck to get some tools. Removes the toilet and checks the seals.

8) Surprise surprise, he put on two thin seals instead of the normal thick seal on this toilet!!! The thinner seals were compressed so some air “might” have been getting between them, was his explanation.

Hopefully, the new seal will actually solve the issue. I can’t imagine a much more unprofessional and unhelpful experience. I will never use Tucson Plumbing again, and will sure let everyone know to avoid them like the plague.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Brandon! He did some maintenance work on our tankless water heater and was prompt, professional, informative, and very polite. I will request him every year for this service!

We were 100% pleased with Brian’s service and issues were taken care of. Skilled and professional, we will recommnd him/ Tucson Plumbing to others. Our dog, of course, hopes we have more concerns so his new frind, Brian will return.

Good price for after hours repair and showed up in only two hours

Brian and Ricky were sent out on 2 occassions to install new shower fixtures. On the first visit, after getting everything installed, the Delta cartridge broke. I had to order a new cartridge from Ferguson and reschedule Tucson Plumbing to complete the job. Brian and Ricky came back out to complete the install of my new Delta fixtures and Brian was able to get the second trip charge waived. Tucson Plumbing is a little priceier than other companies but they are patient, explain in detail what they will be doing, and as a DIYer I appreciate that they let me watch and learn. Ricky wiped up after they were finished and the shower is good to go thanks to Tucson Plumbing, Brian and Ricky

I had a pipe under my sink break, Sun. evening and called this company which I found on Google. Jesus was at my home within 30 minutes, repaired the broken pipe, and did not upsell nor overcharge. This company has been in business since 1952 and that most likely is due to their business practices, customer service and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone. They will now be the ones we go to for our plumbing needs.

I received estimates from 2 other licensed plumbing contractors for the repairs I needed after buying a home and both came in around $2000. Brandon from Tucson Plumbing gave a nearly $8000 estimate and this would not include the drywall repair after the plumbing work.

Brandon told me I would have to replace my entire tub surround (not true, new cartridges were available for about $200 and did not involve any tile removal or replacement), he looked in the tub access panel where one of the leaks was occuring and after a quick glance said this was leaking, but it's not anymore...I literally had to say do you want me to turn on the water? When I turned the tub on, he saw the obviously leaking galvanized pipes that had been indicated on the home inspection and kept saying oh, this is bad, this is really bad!. Additionally, I wanted the pipes in the primary bath to be capped off because I am not planning on using the tubs and he charged me 30 minutes of labor for removing the cap of the cartridge handles that I did not want to replace in the first place. One of his suggestions for dealing with the dripping faucet was you can turn the main water off for the house and then turn it back on when you want to use it....what??

I still did not feel right about the seemingly inflated estimate a couple of months after the visit so before posting a review, I gave the company a courtesy call to share my experience but Jasper's indignant response saying that I blindsided him and I was calling nearly 2 months after the fact! when trying to give the company feedback solidified my decision to post this review. I'm not sure if Brandon didn't want to do the work and was trying to price the company out of the job or just didn't know how to handle the repairs. In the end, I was able to have all the repairs, including drywall patching, with one of the other licensed contractors for about $2500, the galvanized pipes were updated to copper, and everything was completed in about 2 days. Definitely shop around.

Edit: Per the company's response: I did not ask for a refund of the trip charge or the 30 minutes of labor. Also did not threaten a bad review--would have been willing to not post a review if the company had listened to my concerns and my poor experience. Instead Jasper was defensive and unprofessional in his response. Go with another company.

Branden and Ricky showed up and repaired a faucet and replaced a water heater. They answered all my questions and knocked out all their work without any issues. We really appreciate having knowledgeable and professional support from these guys.

Unfortunately when I called for emergency service for a clogged toilet, I was told if there is more than 1 toilet in the house, it would have to wait until Monday (it is Sat morning). Even after explaining that the clogged toilet is the only toilet in the house that this elderly gentleman can use because he is very weak and frail and the other restrooms are too far away and not equipped for him to safely use, the response was the same-- wait until Monday. No logic here or compassion for an elderly person who cannot use his toilet. Sad.

Highly recommend this company! The employee than came to my home was very nice and explained what he needed to do to fix my drainage problem. Also the price was very reasonable. Will definitely use this company again if I have plumbing issues.

I wanted to compliment my recent experience doing business with Tucson Plumbing. This past Saturday evening (Easter Eve) around 8:30 PM, with several house guests installed and plans to host 20+ friends and family for Easter dinner next day, I emerged from a slowly draining bathtub to find standing water on the floor in both of the bathrooms and the second shower in my house. My husband announced this meant the sewer was blocked, and asked me to find someone to fix it asap. Saturday, 8:30 at night and a holiday weekend to boot. I looked online and found 2 businesses who prominently promised 24/7 service. I left a message on the first number (still have not had a call back 5 days later) and talked to someone at an out-of-state call center on the second number. There I was given a 2 hour call back window, quoted a $60 service call fee, and was told I’d have to wait until the plumber arrived for him to give me an estimate to clear the lines. They couldn’t even give me a general price range.

Then I decided to take a chance on calling Tucson Plumbing (we do business with them where I work), even though I didn’t know if they had 24/7 service. Turns out it was totally worth calling. The lady who answered my call was friendly and helpful, was obviously in Tucson, and after asking where I lived, she gave me a 30 -40 minute response time (based on the on call Plumber's location) and a set price for the service call. Tucson Plumbing's Plumber Sal arrived promptly as promised. He was polite and professional and got everything working again within the hour—disaster averted! My husband liked that Sal let him watch and understand what he was doing as well as look at the camera in the pipes. We will call Tucson Plumbing first next time (and always) going forward.

Quick service on a Saturday, very reasonable emergency rates. Only half of what the other 3 places I checked were charging. Cleared out our clogged line quickly and the plumber was friendly. More than exceeded expectations.

The team at Tucson Plumbing and Heating had a quick response time, with a high level of skill set and competitive pricing.

I liked the plumber Benjamin, and he did a fine job. I just didn't agree to having to pay for a trip charge of $69 after paying for 2.5 hours for labor @ $220.00/hr for residential work. Make sure that you request that the charge is waived before you agree to any work being done!

Ben arrived on time and provided excellent/efficient service. Price was very fair for work performed. If we need plumbing service in the future, I will call Tucson Plumbing and request Ben as the technician.

Technician Brandon is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Provided us with an option we haven't explored before of combining our existing Enviro water treatment system with a water softener so we have the best of both worlds. His work was very efficient and tidy.

I want to thank Tucson Plumbing for coming out when I wasn't even home. I am on vacation when my adult son informs me he flushed a large comb down the toilet and is afraid it will clog. I've used Tucson Plumbing in the past and gave them a call. They advised that we don't use that toilet and came out the same day. They retrieved the comb from the toilet (which my son promptly threw away) and got it working in no time! My experience with Tucson Plumbing has been a very positive one. Jasper was very patient answering about a bazillion questions regarding the whole home filtration system I had installed and also was able to get the installation scheduled for a Saturday so I wouldn't have to miss work. The day before I did get a call that there was an emergency situation that would have to take priority Saturday morning and my 9am appointment would need to be moved to the afternoon which worked okay with my schedule. Dave was great - he communicated with me throughout the day - ended up having two more emergency plumbing situations crop up that he attended to before coming to me in the early evening but he came and installed the system and so far I love it!

Brian did an inspection of our 17 year old house following work he did after a leak in one of the bathrooms. He found several areas of concern and returned to remedy everything. We had a small leak from our toilet but knew it likely needed to be replaced as it was extremely old. Tucson Plumbing was able to come out and do the job today, and we loved working with them. They also replaced a leaky spigot for free after seeing it at the front of the house. We're so appreciative of the quick and professional service.

Very trust-worthy. I called them to get a second opinion because another company said I had a collapsed pipe. Tucson Plumbing came out and unclogged the pipe which the other company did not do and removed some roots which was the actual problem. The other company sent a quote to jackhammer through the tile floor to the pipe and repair the collapsed section for over $3700 without tile and drywall repair which would have cost more. The work was good, but I felt swindled. I called Tucson Plumbing because their shop is not too far from my neighborhood. When I told them I had a clogged drain, they said it would be $69, and the plumber (singular) could come in the afternoon. $69 seemed reasonable, since I saw an ad when I was looking up plumbers that said they could clear a drain for $47, and there was a similar ad in the paper advertising a $92 fee. What I found out, after the plumbers arrived is that $69 covers parking the truck in the driveway. It wasn’t until they looked at the job that they told me the minimum charge would be $289; a minimum charge of 1 hour at $110 per person for two people plus the driveway charge. I wanted the drain clear (it was Friday afternoon) so I said go ahead. Fifteen minutes later the drain was clear. Including the time to look at the job, clear the drain, pack up and do the paperwork, they were parked in my driveway less than ½ hour.

Gabriel Delgado serviced my home today, Per my request, arrived on time, prepared to replace shut water valves. He explained why my old house needed this service, walked me out to show me shut off valves to the house,=. Good information. Then wrote down the estimate for cost of work. He quietly repaired everything, then inspected my waterheater, and suggested at its age, I consider it being replaced. Gave me estimate for that.

I had just received a sky high water bill and the neighbor happened to notice water spraying out of my outdoor irrigation valve— of course this was in the middle of a three day weekend. I called Tucson Plumbing on Saturday and Lisa managed to get me on the schedule for Tuesday. Adam notified me of his arrival time and then spent about four hours repairing the irrigation piping outside my home. The problem turned out to be quite complex and he was in communication with a coworker. The final result was very satisfactory and we agreed to follow up in a few months regarding replacement of some additional parts of the same system. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable.I appreciated his hard work and successful solution.

Fast, efficient replacement of water heater that quit working late Tuesday night. We received good info from Lisa in Tucson Plumbing office on Wenesday a.m. and got an appointment by 2 PM Wednesday; job completed before 5 PM Wednesday. Poor professionalism, ask the tech a simple question and right from the beginning had an attitude.

Yes there is two side of a story. I was friendly to your tech and even helped cut a the hole for him. But when he is rude constantly and tells you you must buy cheap tools that's where I draw a line. The money part wasn't the issue it was your techs rude comments and unprofessionalism.

The guys did a great job installing our utility sink in our garage. They were on time reasonally. We would use them again.

$69 trip visit to tell me they're going to royally stick it to me on the charge.
I've been having a water pressure issue with water pressure. The issue is suspected to be a pressure regulator. a $100 part. The estimate? $650. Outrageous. I'm sure they do good work but insane markup and labor costs.

Update to owners response: The charge the technician gave me was $650, then acquiesced to $575 (Still outrageous) after I said no. Perhaps you need to discuss with your technician about either improper quoting, having a selective memory, or lacking communication skills.

Regarding the $69 trip charge. I paid the trip charge because I called you out to check on the pressure regulator. However, of note, right after my interaction with your company, a competitor didn't charge me to come out to give me an estimate and quoted nearly half what your technician originally quoted. My review still stands.

Ricky and Brian arrived ahead of their estimated time (they had called ahead) and were very professional in terms of attitude and appearance. Tools to complete the job were immediately available and handled most professionally, competently, and with speed. Couldn't ask for a better crew to handle the disconnect of lines prior to some remodeling to take place. They even went above the call to help me slide an appliance out of the way.

When our water heater went down, we called Tucson Plumbing. They were fast, the service was really great (Thanks Shasta and Danny!), and it was very affordable. So easy to work with, professional and helpful! Thanks so much, you guys, you really made my wife and I happy!

It was good work but very pricey . 175.00 dollars for just under 15 minutes of work. The work was done correctly and plumber showed up on time but I think next time I would find someone more budget friendly .

I called Tucson Plumbing to find and fix a leak in the wall. That involved cutting a hole in the drywall to get to the pipe. I expected the hole to be cut. I also expected the pieces of drywall to be picked up and thrown away when they were finished. Unfortunately, the drywall and drywall dust was left for me to clean up. That is odd to me. All other trades I have used always clean up when they are finished.

We discovered a leak from a pipe in our 8 year old water conditioning system. Called Tucson Plumbing after normal business hours. They came within 2 hours and quickly repaired the leak (some rubber washers had deteriorated after 8 years). They were very professional. The after hours fee was reasonable.
Highly recommended.

Dave and Nick came out in the morning to help with a major drain clog that Andy worked on the night before. Using a camera, they located the problem and opened up the line. All of them from Tucson Plumbing were great to work with and very reasonable with their prices. I would recommend them highly!

We called on a Sunday night after trying to install a dishwasher and getting stuck on the last part of the installation - the compression sleeve that would not budge due to the previous pipe installation being done poorly (the house came that way). We called Tucson Plumbing and Brandon was literally at our house and working on the problem in 30 minutes. He did an excellent job, explained the problem and the solution and repaired it swiftly. An hour later, we had the new dishwasher installed fully and running cycle. Thank you!

Workmanship was adequate but the clean up afterward was non existent. Did not do any repair work to the walls after having to cut a hole. Probably would not use them again.

Ben, the Service Technician, was prompt and very professional in every way. Most of all was very customer focused. Will ask for him by name next year when the tankless hot water heater needs its annual service.

Sent an incompetent individual to unclog a line. He damaged his equipment so they charged us for the equipment he broke and the job was not completed. Be aware of these scammers.they will steal your money....update...... called another plumber and they fixed the problem. The line was not collapsed as tucson plumbing stated it was.....just clogged. Thanks for not charging me for the equipment your incompetent employee broke on the job.

Adam was sent out on an emergency call, so missed our scheduled time, but we were notified in plenty of time, by both the office, and later contacted by Adam.
When Adam finished the emergency call he contacted us, and said he was 30 minutes out. He arrived, went right to work, and had our water heater up and running in less than one hour (we were having the anode rod replaced).
Very happy with the service, and the service provider! Adam was enjoyable to interact with, and had the skills needed. Thanks, Adam!

July 2022 - Service personnel Gabriel arrived within the window provided and diagnosed the problem with ease. Master bathroom shower valve was leaking water even in the off position. Gabriel removed the valve, saw the broken cartridge and installed a new one. Presto....no more leaking!

I have used this company to do routine and more emergent home plumbing needs and have always been pleased with their professionalism and value. Really appreciated that Lisa was able to get somebody out the same day I called.

Tucson Plumbing was called to our rental property to unclog a toilet (toys flushed). They pulled the toilet and removed a couple of small items but were unable to remove a large piece. We were told that the toilet would need to be replaced and charged $225. We decided to try another company (licensed, bonded & insured) and they were able to remove the stuck part and remount the toilet on a new wax ring in about 15 minutes and only charged $97 total. Tried discussing the outrageous cost with the service manager but he wouldn't budge and just touted how great they are and worth their $160/hr labor rate. Call anyone else if you don't want to get ripped.

I was extremely happy with Tucson Plumbing. They came out to repair a shower pipe that had burst. They came out quickly, repaired it on the spot with parts in the truck and I was very reasonably charged. Excellent work, great price and a friendly person to deal with. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

I called yesterday, 4/27/23, and made an appointment with Ron to have a new garbage disposal installed. He said Ben would be at my house today, 4/28/23, between 12 and 1. At 2:15 no one had shown up and no one had called, so I called. Don't remember who I spoke to but he said that they are very busy today and running behind. He said they would call me shortly to give an estimate when they would be here. I don't get a call until a few minutes after 3pm, not from Ben but another person I think he said his name was Jesus.?? He said he would probably be another hour or so, which that is way later than I had scheduled for and now would be too late. I told him that my appointment was with Ben and he said they must have switched it to Ben because he (Jesus?) was so behind. I said no, I was told yesterday when I made the appointment that it would be Ben coming. So, I did not use their service due to poor scheduling, and lack of communication to let me know what is going on. I will be rescheduleing with another company.

Had a minor clog in kitchen drain. Dave came out in first hour of suggested window and called to give 45 minute warning for arrival. He was very courteous and explained the situation. Fair and straightforward with billing and would recommend going forward.

Technition was great, understood this unique circumstance, and pulled it off. Even better than expected.

I was trying to get an estimate for a new home project. I am in the initial stages and only have a rough plan, and o was looking for a rough estimate of costs. Owner/estimater wanted full blown drawings. He thought he could out question me to get me to give up but when I had all the answers he finally said I have enough work to not need to help you with your budget. Well bud with that attitude you won't. Completely rude and my money will go to someone who is willing to work with me. Highly recommend anyone look elsewhere for their plumbing needs.

Had an issue with a dripping toilet that turned into a bigger issue of actually needing to replace the whole toilet. Each time the technician came out they were on time, actually earlier than they said, they were extremely professional, friendly and the did the job in a quick and efficient manner. I was very pleased with this company and the technician who came out. I would highly recommend them.
