We were looking for a reliable local electrician and we are so glad to have found Rick! He is reliable, honest and very knowledgeable. He came by initially to give us an estimate and then was able to work around our schedules for the project. We would definitely trust him for all of our future projects as well.

This time we had him put in our new electric car charger, and wire a new fan light into the master bedroom. If you're looking for a trustworthy local electrician, Rick is definitely your guy!

Great guy. Easy to work with. I told him about smoke coming out of and electrical outlet and he worked his schedule to get my house the same day!! Who does that in this day and age. I'm glad to have found his company. Price was fair and straightforward. I definitely will use him again.

Ricks and his crew did an excellent job installing a main electric panel and breakers, at a very reasonable rate. Every thing was in order, parts, permits, SRP and all went very smooth. I would recommend him for all my electrical needs. Now days its hard to know if you can trust a contractor, Rick did everything he said from when he first came over and gave me an estimate.

Rick and his crew did an AMAZING job. They arrived on time, started prep immediately, explained each step in the project and completed the job UNDER budget as well as under the estimated timeframe. Rick is pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced and honest. At the time he came over to provide the bid for the work I wanted done he explained that hourly generally is the best way to go after he reviewed the necessities of the project. He then provided me the bid as flat rate and provided me the amount that he charges hourly. I accepted the hourly and was worried honestly that there would be issues causing my labor cost to increase dramatically. There were issues in my wiring, they corrected my wiring issues and installed 6 new recessed lights ❤️ At the end of the project Rick explained all charges and still came in UNDER budget by $250.00!! I couldn’t be happier with Ricks Electric. Their work, friendliness, professionalism, and honesty are unmatched in my eyes. I will definitely choose Ricks Electric again! I am now a customer for life and would HIGHLY recommend Ricks electric to anyone and everyone. Thanks Rick and crew, I can’t wait to use my new lights tonight ?

We've had Rick out to the house a couple of times. Rick and his son, Rick, are professional, experienced and very thoughtful electricians.

WORK: Rick has installed a number of new receptacles to existing circuits, helped us to bring power to wall-mounted TV and other devices, replaced switches with dimmers, and helped us to work through and correct a couple of irritating, preexisting electrical issues in our home.

BEST OF ALL: Rick is extremely careful to think of ways to complete the work without damaging our interior walls and ceilings. This type of thoughtfulness has already saved us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary drywall and paint repairs.

Rick arrived on-time, walked through the work, explained his approach before he made any changes, answered questions, made thoughtful suggestions, finished all the work he quoted, cleaned up the job site, and charged an extremely fair price. Even better, he maintained an energetic and positive attitude throughout the entire time.

The quality of his work is superb.

IN SHORT: Rick's Advanced Electric is an honest, professional and experienced electrician that I can confidently recommend. We will definitely call Rick whenever we need electric work.

The day after Easter, I had a total power outage in my home. I found Rick's Advanced Electric on the web and noticed all the great reviews. Without a doubt, these guys are the BEST! Rick and his son, also named Rick are not only kind, but highly skilled! They had to replace my entire Breaker box and they were reasonable in price and very quick to locate that a surge in power burned the panel out. I was so grateful to them for going thru all the steps smoothly with SRP and City of Mesa to get my home with power once again. The nice thing I noticed also was how humble they are and how they truly enjoy helping their customers. I will definitely use them again for any electrical project!

Rick was great!
I recently bought my house in Mesa. I came home one night to find the electricity in half the house was not working even after i flipped all the circuits. My girlfriend googled for an electrician and Rick had great reviews. I called Rick around 6pm and he came over right away and got everything working quickly and at a very reasonable price. I give a very high recommendation to Rick and will continue to use him in the future.

I originally found out about Ricks Advanced Electric through a community facebook group and after reading reviews online, I decided to try them out. Within the hour that I submitted an online request for a schedule estimate, I received a call from Rick to schedule service. He took the time to answer my questions, understand our electrical issue and did not rush through our call. Within no time, service on our main electrical panel was completed. Rick was very sincere, professional, and attentive to customer needs. We will definitely use him again if another issue arises.

Our outside outlet when bad which some how caused a chain reaction of switches and outlets to go out. Including the bathroom!! Rick took his time to come as his last stop and fix. He said it was on his way home and no problem or he would need to do in a day or so. Needless to say - there was a wire loose which kept tripping the inside stuff and was sparking and could have started a fire! I called around and everyone wanted to charge me a fortune. His price was amazing and really should have been more for being there so quick! Love him and will be using again for 2 other projects around the home. He is reliable and friendly. Knowledgeable and caring. A Veteran, Need I say more? Call him first or last....just call him.

I've employed Rick's Advanced Electric for many years now, for multiple properties. He has taken every job seriously, from trivial outdoor low-voltage lighting to panel replacements and circuit additions. All of these jobs he's done with remarkable attention to detail and professionalism. His prices are fair and his work is solid. I've employed a lot of contractors in my time and Rick is one of the best.

Rick recently installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage he had to add a 50 amp breaker to my electrical panel and run the conduit from one side of the house to the other. He did a fantastic job and I will be calling him for all my future electrical work. He also quoted me the best price and was very helpful with any questions I asked him. I highly recommend him!

To preface, my house is a nightmare amalgamation of addons build by amateurs since 1955. As a consequence, the wiring is a mess. Rick managed to figure it out though, and for that alone, bravo. Turns out it was a problem on the power company's end. I would've never figured it out. I'm glad I didn't waste too much time on it before calling Rick, who was friendly and experienced. I also found his rates to be very, very reasonable, especially compared to what other companies would charge. I'll be calling Rick for all my future electrical needs.

Had a wobbly ceiling fan that I could not fix. Called Rick, answered on the first ring and showed up early. Fixed my ceiling fan and life is good!

On 4/16, I had an electrical problem that I thought was caused by a problem within my breaker box. The problem was that all the lights and outlets on the West side of mh house were not working. Rick came and withing minutes discovered it was a faulty connection with only one key outlet connections. He had the problem fixed shortly. I have complete confidence in Rick's work and gladly recommend Rick for all of your electrical work needs. He is professional and knows his stuff!

Rick used to be a great electrician and I recommended him to many people. He has done a lot of work at my house over the years but that has sadly come to an end. There's no doubt that he's a great electrician who can do things that other guys can't. But I had him scheduled to do work at my house and told him while he's here, I'd like to hang some white string lights on my pergola. A couple days before the appointment, I texted him to confirm and he tells me the lights for the pergola were $500. What?? He told me he ordered the lights, it was $500, and he can't return them. That's when we parted ways. I never heard of white string lights that cost $500, but MORE Importantly, I think before you order something that cost $500 and CAN'T be returned, you should verify it with the customer. I don't know of a single tradesman who wouldn't send a picture with the price on something that costs $500. It's too bad because he's a great electrician.

I found Rick's Advanced Electric on-line and read all his favorable reviews so when we needed to add a 2nd electrical box, we contacted Rick. He scheduled the job right away, was on-time, professional and courteous. We will certainly be using Rick in the future.

Fantastic, does great work, fast. We've used Rick over the years for many, many projects. Very knowledgeable, doesn't try to up-sell, he keeps incredibly busy so he doesn't need to waste your time or money.

Rick is absolutely fantastic. My circuit breaker outside my house blew up as I was switching out a fuse. The whole thing caught on fire and was ruined. This was at 6pm. I saw that he was local and got good ratings so I called him hoping to get him out the next day to have a look. Well he came by 30 minutes later. He stayed for more than 2 hours to wait while SRP shut the power off to the property (to make sure the house didnt burn down). The whole thing was replaced and I had power back less than 36 hours. I would use him over anyone in the valley. Super nice guys as well.

Rick and his son Ricky came over to our house with one day's notice. They were polite, knowledgable, and very professional. They found our electrical errors and fixed them right away. I will definitely be calling them for any electrical needs in the future.

If I could give 10 stars I'd do it. Prompt, polite, professional, and reasonable - both in prices charged and his approaches to problem-solving. A dollar spent with Rick is $10 saved (or more). Even though we're moving to the west valley I am taking his card with me because I'd rather pay the gas and get reliable service than roll the dice with another contractor!
