Pelleco Home Design

We used Pelleco Home Design for a kitchen redesign / renovation, as well as laundry room and floor renovations. Sam was very involved throughout the design and build process. He was very responsive and kept me updated on who was coming to work and when.

Pricing was very competitive and I really liked that they wanted to avoid change requests as much as I did. Even when unexpected challenges arose, he kept his word and there were zero change requests. We have worked with other contractors in the past where every little thing was a separately charged piece of work... and that of course extended the timeline for those projects.

We were back in our new kitchen within 5 weeks! All of our neighbors commented on how quickly our project was progressing. We love our new kitchen and we loved working with Sam and the Pelleco team!

Pelleco Home Design has an absolutely fantastic team! After a plumbing issue forced us to replace all our pipes and rip out our kitchen, we were on the hunt for someone trustworthy and experienced. Having never dealt with hiring a contractor in the past, we had a number of companies walk through the house with us, hear their suggestions and provide bids. Pelleco's walk through was a breath of fresh air! Sam and Justin's ideas, suggestions and efficiency immediately impressed both me and my wife.

Pelleco and their team throughout the project were an absolute pleasure! I'll specifically highlight the level of respect and mindfulness each and every worker had towards our house and our space. I was initially worried as I travel out of state for work often which leaves my wife home alone for a couple days of the week. Sam and Justin made sure to let us know who would be coming when to expect them each day. Once we ended up meeting each worker throughout the project, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing.

The new kitchen and new floor look great - the attention to detail and professionalism is what inspired me to write this. I highly recommend working with Pelleco and hopefully this review provides a good expectation (that will be met)!

Our home was built in 2008 and we have remodeled everything except the master bath and utility room. Hired Pelleco Home Design for the project. Sam is wonderful. He was incredibly responsive, there were no hidden cost issues and they finished sooner than we expected. He had the subs lined up, and they were great, as well. Could not be happier with the result. I would definitely recommend them!

Sam the owner is very busy and sort of like working with a whirlwind, but he runs a tight business and uses excellent products at an excellent price. Becky in the office was a pleasure to work with and helps to keep things running smoothly. But the best were the workmen! Jason, the demolition guy, managed to save all of our backsplash tile without a single chip or crack. The install team bent over backwards to blend the existing tile with the new counters and did so seamlessly. Finally his plumber, Sean, hooked up all of our new faucets flawlessly. All of the workmen displayed nothing but positive attitudes and a true desire to get the job done right. Momma is happy!! And so am I!

I vetted at least a dozen contractors and probably contacted at least 30 in less than a week before I ended up going forward with Sam.

He distinguished himself from the pack right away by showing up on time with great energy and professionalism.

I felt like he both listened and responded intelligently and handled things from the start in a way that inspired confidence.

While others whined and made excuses and made it painful to get info, he managed to get me a professionally prepared quote in about an hour.

As a mark of an established professional he set realistic expectations on timeline and had people available who knew what they were doing that showed up and just got things done, and well.

I'm glad I made the trip(s) to both where they have materials as well as their showroom to see the raw materials as well as professional setting and execution.

I'm very pleased with the work done- which included new granite countertops in the kitchen and new cabinets and sinks in the bathrooms along with some miscellaneous tweaks needed to get a house looking and feeling fantastic.

I felt like pricing was competitive and fair- the team definitely worked hard and earned their money.

They also asked questions-I did make it a point to drop in periodically-that showed they really wanted me to be happy with the work, such as how deep I wanted the countertops to be.

Sam was also a great communicator, I didn't have to do any chasing, he actually took the initiative to consistently send updates, which I think is a great feature.

I definitely recommend his services.

My wife and I just finished a repair and renovation at our house in Mesa, and we are very happy with how Sam's team at pelleco managed the project and its quality. One of the biggest worries we had is safety of leaving the house open to random folks to come work during the day while we were in the office. They were an extremely reliable group of crews that worked on our house and very trustworthy! thanks for everything Sam and the Pelleco team :)

Horrible, If you are considering this company, dont!! If negative 1000 was possible I would give them that score.
I wish I'd have never done business with this company. We hired Pelleco to remodel our master bathroom. It was a huge mistake. The quality is similar to that in 3rd world countries. Very poor quality workmanship, no oversight of contractors, blames customer for problems, cheap quality parts and the list goes on and on. I will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone. This was the worst remodel experience I could have ever imagined and was overcharged in the end. If you choose to use Pelleco I wish you good luck. You'll really need it.

We had Pelleco do a full remodel and an addition on our home. There entire staff was helpful, polite, and the end results were spectacular. Sam made the process easy, he explained every step of the process, and was flexible in always taking the time to talk through our concerns. I'm so glad we trusted Sam and Pelleco with our home.

Would put zero stars if I could. Overall, very unhappy with quality of work. It makes me sick when I have to see the finished result. The list of problems is long and I am now considering having another company come in and fix the mess. I now regret thinking I could save a few $ by going with this company. I would of taken it better if they would take some accountability but the fault never was put on them. Make sure you do a complete look over when job is complete.

Really horrible service and overpriced collections of discarded furniture. they like to say wholesale prices but their margins are either off the planet or they have been royally taken. Some of the furniture was filthy and dissolved when you touched it. Other pieces were broken and the woman who attacked aka served us was full of herself and amazingly ill informed. This questionable store is located in the rear of a much larger consignment shop. Fortunately easy to miss this little rip off!

Had an appointment lined up for an estimate for a full kitchen remodel at 8am on 9/6, got a call from Sam at 8:05 saying he was finishing up his last appointment and he was running 20 minutes late and asked if that was ok and I said it was fine, by 8:55 he still wasn't here so I called and asked if he was still coming and he told me he didn't punch my address in the gps and I was further than he thought, he said he has an hour window to show up to an appointment which I was never told about, and then he said he never told me he was running late the first time he called, then when he filled showed up an hour late he was walking to my front door yelling at this secretary, HORRIBLE customer service, there are too many home remodel places in the area to have to put up with someone like Sam, stay away from this guy!
