I highly recommend. Alonso was quick to respond after I had accidentally locked my keys in my Mercedes. . He communicated with me prior to arriving, keeping me posted, then arrived, got right to business, and had my car door open quickly. The job was done quickly, but Alonso was pushy to get an online review even saying he would give a good price for a good review. The price was excessive for the minimal work done, and although Alonso seemed friendly he was 'car salesman' pushy for good reviews and cash payment. I wouldn't use this company again, or refer it to others.

Called to get my camper lock unlocked. They said they would be there in 20-30 minutes. They arrived just like they said. Alonso looked at the lock and said that he could try and pick it. If he got it unlocked it would cost $195.00, that’s right $195.00. If he couldn’t get it, he would only charge us the trip fee of $25. We told him that was to much and we would not be using his services. He said fine but we still owed the trip fee. Which we paid but were not happy about because they never mentioned it when we first called. I would not recommend this company.

I was forced to post a review on here so that I didn’t get charged an extra $25 “service fee”. I’m editing my review now, because I don’t want anyone else to have the experience I did. I won’t go so far as to mention this individual’s name, but the technician came out and was just a few minutes late due to traffic, which I completely understood and was not upset about at all. He came to my car and he struggled for about 30-45 minutes, while simultaneously getting increasingly more aggravated and rude in his tone. I was in the parking lot of a thrift shop and while we were trying to get the car unlocked, one female employee came out and offered us a yardstick type of tool to use, and another man (who apparently had been a tow truck driver for 20+ years and had done his fair share of unlocking cars) stood next to her and offered his help as well. The technician declined their help. I had been trying to help him by looking inside the car from the opposite side he was working on, and telling him when he was in the exact right place. (Keep in mind that I am a woman.) I had asked him a few times if he would mind if I tried to use his tools to get it unlocked, which he declined multiple times. (I understood this at first, because I wouldn’t want to get him in trouble liability-wise. But after being in the hot sun, with my black car, for over 30 minutes, I just wanted this to be over with.) After about 40 minutes of struggle, the female employee went back inside to try to find a different tool that would help us, and the man (tow truck driver) went into the store to do his shopping. At this point, he finally let me try to manipulate the tools, and after about 2 minutes (if that), I got it unlocked by myself. His response to this was a high-five to me and a statement of “See? Once they left us alone for 2 minutes and we got rid of their ‘bad energy’, we got it unlocked right away!” ?? I was then charged $165 (for basically doing the work myself just with his tools). If you are a man needing these services, I bet you’d have a much different experience. But, if you are a woman, I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this company, unless it’s your last resort.

Alonso was absolutely wonderful. He was very kind and patient. I bought a new house and had it re-keyed. 9 locks in total. When he arrived I had a bag full of keys and didn’t know what key went with which lock. ( they were all different). He patiently went through the bag of keys for me and found the locks they belonged to. He did an amazing job and was very nice. I will definitely be calling Guard Locksmith & Garage door again when I need help.

**Update a few days after service the new doorknob they replaced broke completely off. ?? Now have to purchase a new doorknob on top of the service fee that I was charged. Also bent my screen door beyond repair after looking at entry area. They did arrive promptly and got us into our home fast however damage was done to screen and was told my doorknob would be replaced with same quality was not true.

I called Guard garage door service company to get an estimate on new roll up door and mike was excellent! He laid out the options, offered me time to consider them and wasnt at all pushy. Avi was great! We locked ourselves IN our condo because the latch got stuck and Avi arrived less than 15 mins after we called him. He opened the door, replaced the lock and rekeyed it for us so we didn't have to get new keys made. From start to finish took 30 mins max. Would call Avi again if ever needed!

This company quoted one price on the phone and then ended up being double what was quoted on phone. He showed up to re key 5 locks old kwicksets. He tore them all apart and then said he could not rekey them. So he said he could install new locks at double the price. Then he said he could not replace any of the locks. Was able to rekey one lock out of the 5. I paid him $50.00 I was without any doorhandles and blank. Holes. I went down to hardware and bought two new door handles w deadbolts and installed myself total cost 50.00.
I am highly suspect the way they left the job. Don't use this one.

The google reviews are probably fake. The company is bad, they don't know how to open locks, drill it, and then charge you a ton of money. Don't believe the good reviews. Find another company using yelp or angie's list.
