Insurance company send these people to our home to replace a water heater. Man came see a water heater leaking in the garage. Did nothing and left. Calling company they telling me they have a process and it will take at least 3- 5 days until they they come back to do repairs. Do not recommend this company

This company was sent out by my home warranty. They showed up, only took pictures, and told me on site that it would be maybe $100 of uncovered items that I would have to pay out of pocket for. I got a call from my home warranty later that day and they told me the company quoted them $800 for the water heater alone and then they wanted another $800 of uncovered parts. I immediately canceled the service and was allowed to do all the work myself for less than $800, which included me paying a plumber to come verify that everything was correct and up to city code. This company obviously is just in the business to prey on people that do not know better.

My installation proved to be a bit complicated by prior contractor...but the
Desert Rain plumber was both patient and very helpful in getting our
installation completed much to my satisfaction.

Desert Rain Plumbing Tech was inexperienced and performed extremely poor job and did not complete his job. He broke my bidet and broke my gate valve which was not necessary to shut, and didn't properly seal toilet valve which started to leak all over the bathroom. He left me at 5:00 pm with no water in the main house n said didn't have the right parts to fix gate valve.
He broke everything he touched.
I brought in my own plumber at 9:00pm to fix all their mess, replaced toilet valve correctly n reinstalled the bidet, and fixed the gate valve (No thanks to Choice Home Warranty nor Desert Rain Plumbing).

Writing this review quite late by my home warranty company dispatched these guys to deal with a blockage in my shower. The first guy sent identified our home was too old for them to use a snake and they would have to do hydrojetting.

I had a small mixup between the company and home warranty, but they came out again to hydro jet. Every person with Desert Rain I spoke to was fantastic!

Skimming the other reviews, it looks like most issues are with their home warranties and not Desert Rain.

They were very nice and did a Good job

They work with Choice Home Warranty. Technician Johnny showed up next day early to check the water heater which needed to be replaced. After 24 hours no communication from them. Choice Warranty called them and also got no response. They were very aggressive in wanting a Restoration company come to my house to give me an outrageous quote for clean up. I wonder why?

Company sent out as part of Choice Home Warranty for a simple garbage disposal replacement. Whole ordeal took two visits, which on both the technician stated he “didn’t have all the parts he needed with him” and suggested going to Home Depot and purchasing them for the next time he came by. Why am I having a company come out for this repair if I need to buy the parts myself? Then came the kicker- he put in the garbage disposal but left the other side of the sink undone so when I filled the sink to do some dishes and then drained, it went EVERYWHERE. I was furious, but after calling them 17(!) times before reaching someone over the course of two days to let them know of the damage (with pictures) the only solution offered was to send out the same technician that messed up in the first place to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous service. I called Choice and they immediately switched me to a much better plumber with 4.5 stars rather than this one-star company. I will warn everyone I care about to not use Desert Rain so they don’t have this headache on their hands.

Move on to another company!! They were recommended via my home warranty company, and the plumber that was sent out didn't know wtheck he was doing. AND charged me! I had to get another company to come out and fix his mistakes AND the initial problem! Took my new guy 10 mins. Do NOT hire Desert Rain Plumbing!!

Desert Rain came to my house as contracted through my home warranty company. They are the worst plumber in the valley. They told my warranty company I would owe an additional $455 out of pocket for them to fix my hot water heater. I tried to call and ask what these fees were, and they could not tell me. I called back after the weekend and they changed my out of pocket to $650.

This company was contracted by Choice Home Warranty.They came out to my house to inspect a hot water tank that was leaking. I was told a new tank would be installed in 1 to 3 days max. On the 4 day I called Desert Rain Plumbing and no one answered. Be forewarned, do not use this company. If a company makes representations of services to be provided and a time frame in which the services will be provided, then they don't perform think of the potential problems you could have due to bad workmanship.A nightmare waiting to happen. Keep looking for a responsive plumber at the very least.

were assigned to this business by home warranty of america, they not only Did Not Show but didnt call. When i called them, they let it ring 12 times, then gave me a run around about why they couldn't come fix the refrigerator water spigot, which feeds the fridge with water for ice, etc. and told me it wasnt an excuse, nobody tells us when to be somewhere -very Rude, unprofessional and is being reported to BBB and passed around thru network.

I was connected with Desert Rain Plumbing through my home warranty service. They were able to fix my shower with a new valve and shower handle with brand name parts and restore hot water to my shower. They were quick and efficient. Also very nice. Matt did the work and he was great. Hopefully I won’t need them anytime soon but I would absolutely work with Desert Rain on any plumbing issue or concern I have in the future. Thank you!

Matt came and helped me and my friends with our sink through warranty. He got us a much nicer sink than we had before and was a nice dude at the same time. Very through and went above and beyond highly recommend!

Got assigned this company through Choice Home Warrenty. They called me saying I had an appt on Tuesday. Choice Warrenty sent me an email that appt was 7-11am company said appt was 12-5pm. I called Desert Rain to clarify at 11am and the company front desk lady said I was next on list at so probably 1-1.5hrs to fix my issues. Around 1:45pm I get an email from Choice Warrenty that my schedule time was changed to 11/8, a whole week from now! I called Desert Rain Plumbing several times and nobody picks up so left a voicemail. I even called Choice Warrenty and they called Desert Rain and got the voicemail too. I reschedule with another company because of the lack of communication and poor reviews I've read. Also I have all the emails and phone calls documented if who ever controls this account tries to discount my statements.

Great communication, even over the holiday. Friendly professional technician came out the day after the holiday and fix our problem under home warranty.

Great company! They are professional and arrived right on time! I had a backed up sink and they cleared it instantly! I highly recommend this company.

I just took my first shower in 2 days. My hot water heater went on the fritz, and I had no hot water.😭 Desert Rain was sent out to fix my problem, they offered to come out the next day, but I couldn't take off work. The Technician, Daniel R, was very polite and professional. He made me feel comfortable allowing him into my home. Being a Senior, you have to be careful who you allow into your house. He discovered the problem with my hot water heater and addressed it immediately. There was no fumbling with the unit he knew exactly what needed to be done. Within an hour I had hot water, Thank God! I would definitely recommend this young man and their company to anyone who had a plumbing problem. Thanks Again Daniel🙂

The gentleman that came to my condo on 2/17 was exceptional.
He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and still got the job done efficiently.

Took my claim from insurance company and its been a week after inspection didn't submit my claim to insurance company.

Never written a review before for a plumbing service yet want to now. Matt was the best plumber I've ever known to work on my house. Initial visit he knew right away what was clogging my system up and fixed it while answering my questions. Second visit he went above and beyond normal plumber duties by offering us a much better faucet for the price then set it up including installing the soap in the dispenser. Matt was always professional, personable, and instilled confidence that the job would be done right, and it was. Thank you Matt

Called multiple times to get invoice because they were requested from my terrible warranty HWA. They guy who was at my house said it was the temp gauge and the age for why my water heater went out. but then told my warranty something different. And there’s no invoice? Also I’ve tried calling like 9 times and no one picks up. Terrible company don’t go with them, you’ll be better off fixing yourself.

The office people were terrible. I was working with them through my home warranty company, and after the warranty company approved the repair, Desert Rain tried to get another $265 from me by saying there were certain costs not approved. I put them on a conference call with the warranty company, which confirmed that that was not true, and then Desert Rain said they'd follow up and book me for the next day. On the next call, Desert Rain tells me that the warranty company randomly reassigned me to another plumber. Come to find out, it was Desert Rain that told the warranty company that they were no longer available. Looks like they decided that if they couldn't get the extra money by ripping me off, they just wouldn't come. I'm disgusted. I've been without hot water for a week, and this has caused massive delays, waste of time, and frustration. Do not use these crooks.

I have had them out a few times to our home and they have been awesome! Matt has been our tech every time so far and he is amazing. He is super thorough and professional. I’ve never had the same problem twice.

This is the worst company ever! They immediately tried to sell me a service without even looking at the problem. When I called the office I was lied to and they were extremely rude. I had a second plumber come out and they fixed the problem and did some additional work that was over $1,000 cheaper than a verbal quote I was given. DO NOT USE this company!

Our home warranty connected us with this company. After 2 weeks they have completely ghosted us. They came to the property once, said they didnt have the tool (to clear a clogged sink!) said they would be back the next day and never showed again leaving us high and dry. We called them multiple times, left multiple messages and ended up going with a different company. Horrible customer service... stay away from Desert Rain!

I have a very nice experience , this person named Danny was really good plumber. He identified the issue with toilet flush quickly and fixed it . He was on time and he did the job nicely.

Beware of these companies . This is a great scam story created by Desert Rain plumbing , RMJ which costed me 10k to get water heater replaced (2800 out of pocket and 8k from home owner warranty insurance ).
I used choice warranty which contracted desert rain to replace the water heater . Next day - desert rain owner came to inspect and called other company ecodry casting a doubt that you have water leaked into pedestal and they will dry out and they will call my home owner warranty directly to pursue the claim (5k to insurance ) and then another company RMj was brought in to rebuilt the pedestal costs (1500 dollars to me and 2500 to insurance ) , desert rain charged me additional 1300 dollars to bring my water heater to new code installation . I am talking about 2018 built home . In this scam - desert rain promised to waive 1k from home owner warranty deductible and there is no evidence that water leaked into pedestal.
Now my home
Owner warranty insurance costing me 3k per year.

Matt was sent out twice. Once to fix the stoppage in the shower and secondly to replace the faucet fixtures which had lots of calcium build up. The entire process took about 2 weeks. Matt was great. Very professional and provided efficient service with a smile. Thank you Matt!

I am kind of shocked when I see the reviews for this company, I have had an excellent experience with them. On Monday I requested service with my home warranty for a leaky faucet. On Tuesday Desert Rain Plumbing called to schedule my appointment. Today (Wednesday) Andrew came out and replaced the part that was leaky. I do not know if the leak will happen again but I do know that he fully replaced a part instead of just repairing something so it should be good. The woman that I spoke to on the phone when setting the appointment was pleasant and efficient, when setting the time slot she was considerate of my schedule. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Desert Rain Plumbing.

David was great. David phoned before arriving and was within the estimated arrival time. I appreciated his promptness today due to other obligations. He diagnosed the issues with our bath faucet, made a quick trip to Home Depot for the replacement parts and quickly installed what was needed. The issue is corrected now. David was just wonderful. He is knowledgeable and polite and I would refer others to him without reservations. Thank you David!

Excellent and Timely service. I would highly recommend. My gifted technician did some teaching with me and pointed out a few other issues that needed to be addressed. Now, that's customer service!

Our insurance company sent Desert Rain Plumbing to fix the broken washer valve. Michael was very kind and professional. He replaced both valves during the visit and repaired the wall after cutting a hole. I recommend Michael. He did a great job.

My home warranty company chose this plumber. My scheduled window of time was from 7 am- 12pm. He showed up at 12:13... then proceeded to only take pictures. Apparently the office manager who most likely schedules appointments is not intelligent enough to schedule appointments like this when they know full well it will only take 5 minutes first thing in the morning... I mean how much sense would that make. You get there first, take some pics, send them to the home warranty company and move on to the more time consuming jobs so you don’t waste your customers time. To this company it isn’t about service obviously, so if you like to waste 5 hours of your life that you will never get back I recommend them. They are unorganized, and the office manager lies too... she tried to tell me the owners live out of state... hmmm is that why Tyrell’s home address is in Mesa🤣🤣 DB!!!

Be sure to get a second quote before doing business with these con artists. They sent my insurance company a quote in August and they denied it due to the amount. Then Desert Rain said they could send me a different retail quote. For just under $900. After being perplexed and trying to save money I decided to do my own research. Had anther plumber come out and quoted the job for $250. To me Thayer just disgusting. Do not recommend

Spoke with Mars to confirm the appointment. Very nice and pleasant. Matthew was the repairman, he was very polite. Cleaned up, after himself tested it made sure I was satisfied and left. Very nice and professional.

They installed a top of the line water heater, re-welded all the old pipes, and secured it more safety that one one before it. The above and beyond: the repairman took the time to strategically drain the drain the water in the old pump onto our tree so it wasn’t wasted. Then he cleaned the entire cabinet top to bottom— all of the dust, etc, trash from the old owners. He even sorted a few papers that might be worthwhile from stuff that should be tossed. These guys are great. All of the complainers either have qualms with their warranty companies or have weirdly high standards of people that they are addicted to public reviews as some form of self righteousness.
