Arranged chimney cleaning and chimney cap installation, because we've had problems with birds getting in and getting stuck. They did clean the chimney, but didn't bring the chimney cap (which had already been paid for) and said they'd come back with it soon. It's been three months now. For awhile they kept saying that they were very busy and had our cap and would come by, but they never did. I'll just have to consider this a loss, since they took our money clearly don't intend on finishing the job. Three months is just inexcusable.

Fist of all, I don’t know how this man named Don has good reviews? He came and I show the picture of my chimney, trying to explain what need to be done on my chimney repair, and he told me what to do, then ask me to pay $125 for estimate fee for not even go up on the roof to make sure what’s problem on my chimney!? I remembered that he told on phone if we let him do the job, he will take away the estimate fee for the total cost, so I decided let him do the job, and he went up the roof and came down with a job description for total cost, and he need to collect the payment of $125 estimate fee at the time, we paid for it, he told me need about 1- 2 weeks to come back for the job, he needs to order part which need few days to get, after that day he never reply text to me, I called him couple times asking when can be back to do the job, he always told me that he already get the parts order, but he is very very busy, he need more time to find out the scheduling, or he is driving on the road told me he will call me back later, But ended up with no response..no call.. no text message! and I called him on third time he even told me he was sick for Covid need more time to rest, ok, fine ! I waited few days later which already two weeks from his first visit, I called him today and he ended up almost like yelling me on the phone saying that he doesn’t interesting on my job, he changed mind already, he want referral me to another person for job!? ? And I asked him if he can refund me the fee $125 because is you don’t want do the job, but he refused to make refund the fee! i can’t believe for a man who told me he is 66 years old has been doing his business for 40 yrs who are still cheating on people?! dishonest with customer, cold response to his customer! $125 is not much money but make a life lesson! This is scam, stay away people, don’t waste your time and money to such rude and dishonest business person, super disappointed with this bad experience!

We had a great experience with Chimney Cricket. The previous owners had never had the fireplace or dryer vent cleaned. Needless to say, they were both filthy. Allen did a great job despite the build up and even gave us some great tips for our next fire. He was very clean, and the whole process took about an hour. Overall, we're very satisfied and will use Chimney Cricket again!

Not only were they professional and timely, John made recommendations that were fair and honest. I was so impressed with them I will use them anytime I need fireplace or chimney services. They also keep excellent records, and when I forgot if my outdoor fireplace had been cleared for safety they were easily able to look it up and let me know it was good to go. I love working with them!

The company name drew our attention. Don was very friendly over the phone and answered all our questions. He arrived early with a nice smile and proceeded to take care of our fireplace. Don had the job done in no time at all. Additionally, his job pricing was so reasonable compared to all the other chimney businesses we reviewed on line. We will definitely call Don when next we need this type of work done.

I just had my fireplace cleaned and inspected. Shaun was 20 minutes early which was great! He was polite and gave me a few pointers. He also advised me I didn't in fact need a stopper installed on the damper since it isn't gas and is real wood burning. He was done in about 30 minutes. He collected payment ($150) and carried on with his day. It wasn't until he left when I noticed what mess was created in the process. He had put down a blanket to protect my fresh paint and floors but that didn't seem to help. Im not sure if the dirt blew around or if the blanket was dirty. Regardless, I would have hoped he'd cleaned up after himself instead of commenting on my nice paint job. Now Im left scrubbing and it just keeps spreading on the base and walls. That is my only concern. Its annoying after spending money for a professional service.

Don came in and vacuum my fire place. He is very informative and has been doing this job for years! He notice i did not have an adequate cap for my chimney top. He installed it the next time he was in my area.The money spent was reasonable. I'm excited to finally be able to use my fireplace this year. (never had one in the past). He informed me how to prevent smoke going into the house when starting a fire! He is very professional and loves his job. Happy Man.

Being a recent widow, I did not know how to turn on my gas fireplace. I really didn't expect anyone to give this minor problem any attention. When I called I was told that a serviceman would be out the next day. I couldn't believe it but the next day, Don, the owner, came out and not only lit the pilot light but spent time instructing me in how to do it myself. He was very kind and understanding and I would highly recommend him to anyone with a fireplace or chimney problem.

We have been using chimney cricket for 4 years and they have done a fantastic job cleaning and looking after our wood burning stove. We just had a minor issue and DON came over right away and solved the problem. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needed work done on their
Chimney.

Jack and Chimney Cricket cleaned my old house fireplace which has a gas fired insert unit, I never had it cleaned and wow was it overdue for an expert inspection and cleaning! He showed up on time, clear estimate and careful walking up on my roof (didn't crack any tiles) and made sure the top cap was good. I give Chimney Cricket 5 STARS for excellent service and I appreciate the decades of experience that Jack has in the business!!!

FROM Kristine F: Excellent customer service. Called in less than 24 hours and quoted over the phone. Roy, the technician, was very conscientious. The appointment was for 8am on Saturday. Roy rang the door bell at exactly 8am. I don't think my vents had been cleaned by the previous owner for 17 years. I can smell the difference in the air quality. In fairness, I only gave 4 stars for value because I did not get any other quotes. $620 for a two story, >3,000 sqft house. Seemed reasonable to me. I would hire these guys again, no questions asked.

Booked repairs providing model number and problem. Curtis arrived on time. He said that the job was beyond his scope (I don't know why they sent me, the gas repair guy is away) and provided details to co-worker Don. Paid $75 for service call and was told that it would be applied to repairs. Have tried to arrange for repairs. Called several times and was told that I would receive a return call - never received a return call. Spoke with someone at the company who recommended AZ Fireplace repairs. They will not refund my $75 and have decided that It's too much trouble. He hung up on me.

Joshua and Allen came promptly, did a great job, cleaned up well and told us details about our fireplace back that we did not know. They were very courteous and nice to our dog! I will use this company again.

Don at Chimney Cricket did a terrific job at two of our homes with multiple fireplaces, including an outdoor one! They were on time, every thing was spotless afterwards and the price included a free safety inspection! Highly recommended!

Technician Joshua arrived on time to certify that the chimney was safe and functional to we could close on the house sale. He was young but very knowledgeable, wrote a complete report, took photos to satisfy the new buyer. You could not have paid me enough to get up on that step roof but he did it to satisfy himself that the inspection was accurate. Techs like that are hard to find. the folks at Chiminey Cricket did a fantastic job.. the Tech (Don) arrived for the 9 AM appointment on time. he was very efficient, clean and polite. during the process Don reccomended a Chiminey Cap to prevent animals getting in and sparks getting out. we are very happy with the work Chiminey Cricket did.

Don came to repair the crown on my chimney. Timely fashion. Sent me pictures since I don't climb on the roof. Looks good and should prevent future leaks.

Don came out to do a simple chimney and fireplace cleaning and he discovered we had a small gas leak and some wires were burned. He ended up putting a new setup in our fireplace and out fire burns beautifully! He also didn't have any hidden fees when the job was done. What he quoted to us was what we paid in the end, which was a nice change compared to other companies we've used in the past!

We've used Chimney Cricket twice in the last few years, most recently this past week. They're always prompt, professional, and do an amazing job.

Don the owner showed up on time to locate a leak in our chimney. He was able to identify and fix this problem promptly at a very fair price. Would highly recommend this company.

Excellent all around. On time, polite, informative. Had told me ahead of time price was $150 (would be half if they find cleaning is not needed). Chimney DID need cleaning. Josh really knew his stuff, explained a lot to me about the quality of our fireplace, burning tips, etc.

Had Kacy C. clean my chimney, she was very informative, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend; and can't beat the price here in Las Vegas!

Set an appointment with them. Told them we had other appointments that could not be changed. They said no problem we can make it happen. After waiting for almost an hour beyond the agreed time we call and they said they will be another 10 minutes before they get there. I stated it was unacceptable. There answer reschedule or find someone else. Nice service.
