Luis was our locksmith today and he did an amazing job! He was very professional and worked so quickly I couldn’t believe it! He also took the time to explain how to reset any devices that were linked to my garage door. Really great service!

Brent was my tech and he did a fantastic job re-keying the townhome I recently bought in Gilbert. Very friendly, courteous, and professional. Re-Key done in 20 - 30 minutes. Also impressive - ARCO completely went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. I was coming out from California today and half-way to Arizona I realized I forgot the keys to my Arizona townhome in California (brilliant). I couldn't turn around and drive 3 hours back to California. I called ARCO from the road. My townhome re-key with ARCO was supposed to be tomorrow (Friday), but I have other vendors coming to the townhome and I had to get into it today (Thursday)- I asked ARCO if there was anyway they could fit me in today (Thursday). ARCO understood, worked with their techs, got in touch with Brent, and Brent was outside arriving at the townhome right when I was arriving from California today, Thursday. Excellent work and service! Highly recommend!

I was concerned when I was given a 4 hour window for service but happily I received a call about 45minutes into my window. The technician arrived w/in 5 minutes, reset my garage door opener and explained some of the other features it had. Then he quickly replaced /installed a new door lock I had purchased. Speaking with Lori and making the appt, the walked me through the charges to make sure I knew exactly what to expect. I was able to schedule an appt on the desired day and received a reminder email the day before and morning of my appt.The tech, Luis E. Called me 20 min away, well within the time window, and was polite and courteous. He reviewed t he same process that Lori had to make sure we didn’t have questions and took the time to explain a few unknown variables that I was not aware of in my house. He was not pushy in and way, very knowledgeable and took the time to walk with me to each lock to verify all keys worked. Brent Nordstrom with Arco lock came to my commercial property and installed a keyless entry. He did an awesome job and was very friendly! Arco has also done my home and do great work for a great price.

Had my home re-keyed and was referred to ARCO. My very polite service tech Victor called before the appointment to let me know he was on the way and he arrived on time. I didn’t “really” know how re-keying was done. But it was simple and very quick. We also had Victor reprogram the garage remote for a $10 up charge. You could do this yourself, but for the ten bucks and time involved I left it in Victor’s hands!!! Very satisfied with this service and would recommend ARCO if you need locksmith service.

Very fair pricing, in fact, they were running a special that was so good that it was less expensive than if I had removed all the locks myself and had taken them to Home Depot for re-keying. Scheduled a re-key with this company as part of our home warranty. which cost $ 75. In the initial call with them and in the schedule email it said nothing about having our key when they came out. The guy who came out said they would charge us a fee per lock that we didn't have a key to, which I declined to pay. I asked if he would wait for my wife to come back with the key which he said no to. So he left, paid $ 75 and got nothing for it.Also the owner of the company showed up unannounced and tried to sell us security cameras, which I did not ask for.

ARCO handled the re-keying of a home I purchased recently. Their locksmith, Kevin Fehlen, showed up on time, took a look at the 9 locks I needed re-keyed, made a few recommendations, and was in/out in under an hour. Would definitely use them again.

The technician made sure he understood my expectations, clarified charges, and left his work area at least as clean as it was when he started. Wow! Just wow! The appointment scheduling was quick and simple. On the day of the appointment, received the phone from the technician, Victor, letting me know that he was on his way. We just bought a house and all the locks needed to be rekeyed. In addition, I wanted an keypad-style lock for the front. When the technician arrived, he quickly evaluated the variety of locks and keys currently in play, came up with a strategy to make them all as uniform as possible, and then got to work. He replaced or repaired about 10 total locks and got the keypad installed in less than a two hours. He was friendly, personable, provided excellent advice, and threw in a discount without me asking.

ARCO Lock Security was schedule for a while-home rekey service through my Home Warranty company, OneGuard.Luis was very knowledgeable and professional. Our appointment was originally scheduled between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Luis called at 10:00 AM to let us know he was available earlier if we would like.He was able to quickly rekey all of the keyholes in our home, as well as 4 additional locks that we didn’t have keys for. The additional locks were only $10/ea. He then reprogrammed our garage door remotes, just as planned. All of the work was completed in under 45 minutes.I would highly recommend ARCO Lock Security and Luis as year-round lock professionals should you need them.

I moved into my first home recently and ARCO Lock & Security was sent out through my home warranty company. I was told the appointment would be between 3pm and 5pm. I left work at 2:30pm thinking I would have plenty of time (what technician every gets anywhere early, right?). Got a call even before I had left work (and missed) and then my home warranty company called to say that the technician was AT MY HOUSE. It was 2:35pm. I got there about 10 minutes later and he actually thanked me for being on time. Brent did a great job. I didn't even realize he had already rekeyed the home while he was updating the panels for the home security system. I even got to show off a bit when he had me download the Brinks app and I had already answered some of the questions that popped up after downloading the app. He walked me through several things on the app as well as the panel and offered suggestions as to how to not set the alarm off accidentally. The technician arrived a little earlier than scheduled, which was really great. He was very friendly and showed that he cared about his work and the system that he was installing. The installation of all equipment was very neatly done. Once the installation was done he took the time to walk me through how to download the apps on my phone, and he helped me setup whatever I needed on the system. Any questions that I had were answered and when he left I felt very good about making the decision to go with CopperStar Security.

Looks like Brent is a pretty popular guy but I have to agree, he does an awesome job. We purchased a new home and Brent re-keyed all of our locks (12 in total), reconfigured and upgraded an older alarm system and reprogrammed our garage door remotes. Unfortunately I did not end up using your service.I feel there was a lot of hidden charges.I originally spoke with a lady and told her my situation.Closed on my house and the keys were misplaced at escrow.She told me that I could have 6 locks rekeyed for just shy of $70.Due to the fact I had 9 locks, it would be $12 each additional lock, which was understandable.When your tech showed up to my home, he stated he had to have keys, (prior discussed) or it would be $4 a lock to pick them. I told him no one told me this and that I would need to reschedule.The tech seemed very upset and distraught telling me that I would be charged $50 for a trip charge. Also not discussed but understandable.I wanted to reschedule, but now that I am being charge $50 for a trip charge when the original service was supposed to be $69 I do not see the point.This is my first home, and was definitely a bummer.Billy Blackburn

Victor called to let me know he was on his way, then arrived shortly after.He checked the security door and I gave him the parts that fell out of the cylinder and he repaired and replaced the cylinder. Everything appeared to work fine. He apologized for the problem, and told me to call if anything failed to work in the future. Victor was very pleasant and professional. I was very happy with his work and am happy that I now have a working lock on my security door.

Re-keyed new house under a home warranty plan. I heard from the company within hours of notifying the home warranty company. CopperStar was able to set up an appointment with me the same week. Brent was an excellent worker. ARCO Lock should count their blessings he's on their staff, as I do for having Brent's help moving our alarm pad. I contacted our own alarm company to do the job and their quote was high enough that I decided to shop it around. ARCO Lock gave me a range that was $100 cheaper than my alarm company's, and when Brent came out to our site, he found a way to do it for the low end of that range rather than the high end. We had our house re-keyed under a home warranty. We had eight locks re-keyed, four each of two different keys. As the warranty only covers two copies of two keys, we tried to have more copies made; one key made good copies, one did not. I asked Arco to have the locks with keys that would not duplicate re-keyed, and they said the warranty company would have to authorize another visit, because the keys they made work. I guess I should never lose one, because I can’t get more! They made me feel like it’s my fault , yet the other lock they re-keyed duplicates fine. I recommend looking elsewhere. I’m also telling the warranty company to find someone better!

Josh did a great job! We called ARCO because we had used them several years ago to rekey all of our locks. Now, a door handle and deadbolt needed to be replaced, and Josh did the job quickly, efficiently and with good spirit. We would call them again.

I had a very bad experience with the technician from Argo Lock and Security. He was in the neighborhood earlier for other jobs and was not patient to wait for our scheduled appointment at 3-5 pm. I was working in the morning and attending a meeting when he suddenly called me around 10 am telling me that he would like to stop by now. And then at 2:30 pm ahead of our appointment he texted and said that he is already there. Due to Friday traffic and I could not get a Lyft in time, I told him that I am running late but rushing there, he cancel our appointment, charged us $75 and marked our rekey job completed without doing the job. I called the company to explain and they sent me to the insurance company. This is the worst service I got since we came to Arizona and prompted me to write this review.

Technician did not use anything to protect flooring under work area and our carpet is now ruined as he allowed black graphite powder to fall onto our newly cleaned (light) carpet. He was also tapping locks on our ceramic tile floor and seemed pretty inexperienced.

I had to have a re-key done in the afternoon with limited notice. Stacy at the main office called her technician Joey to see how his scheduled day was progressing. I recently purchased a home. I was told on the day if close that the previous owner REFUSED to relinquish all the keys to the home and the garage door openers! I received the key that had been in the lock box.(Why this person has such an unusual attachment to these items I don't know!Why I was not told until the day of closing that I was not getting the keys or garage door remotes I DO NOT KNOW!Being a single female did not want stay in the home until the locks had been changed & garage opener reprogrammed.My home warranty service (OneGuard) contacted CopperStar to replace the locks and garage door openers.CopperStar provided same day service!The technician was professional & courteous.I am not an easily impressed consumer. However, I was impressed with the service I received!I would recommend CopperStar!

I received the attached coupon and called in to schedule.I asked all possible questions related to fees and was informed there as none as long as I had up to 6 keys.I provided my credit card information and they charged me the $79.Yesterday I received an email confirming the charge of an additional fee of $10.I never authorized additional fees and when I questioned I was informed that “one lock was more difficult to rekey which is why there is a $10.00 additional fee.”A company who will give you an offer to rekey and charge you based on the difficulty of the service without informing you is not one I want to do business with!Be sure to state that you do not approve additional charges. Don’t trust your credit card with them!P.s. they replied to my review because I mentioned in in my email. They never emailed me a response or called with the written resolution or with the information I requested. Just replied to my review to publicly explain themselves.

Victor was very courteous & made sure that I understood how to operate the security system since I was in Iowa when he initially checked & initiated the system on March 17, 2017. I wasn't pleased with the $50 fee I had to pay for the 15 minute tutorial. I find that fee a bit high for the brief time. In retrospect, Victor's knowledge of the system & his explanation of how to operate were very thorough considering that until now, I have never owned or operate a home security system.

I am a Realtor, I ordered the rekeying service for my clients. They said he was very courteous, called them in advance of his scheduled appointment. They were very pleased.

Service was completed with no issues in a timely manner. Brent provided useful information on the locks and garage door systems of our newly purchased home which will both save us time and frustration in the future.

Did not complete job as quoted because they said it would be additional money once they showed up. The little work they did was done in such a rush that they left lockes crooked when they reinstalled them. The tech was rude and inpatient with my wife while we were trying to figure out how to get all our doors rekeyed for the quoted price. Finally the tech told us to take the new key to homedepot and they could rekey the new handles we “needed”.

Very disatisfied 30yr Coast Guard Veteran!! Reported this company to my Home Warrant Company and going through the BBB. ARCO was hired to re-key just two security doors. The tech (Victor) failed to re-key one and broke another door then tried to sell me a new cylinder for $50.00 for 1 door and a new lock for the other door which he said was around $175.00. Tried to talk to management (Micah) to right this wrong and they want to charge me for them coming back out when their tech failed to do his job properly..

They came out to rekey the locks which they did, but when they left, the door didn’t close properly because the handle was on crooked. I called to get them to fix the handle and was told by the person who answered the phone that they would not come back to fix it. She said “ We don’t know if the crooked door handle wasn’t caused by someone trying to break in” What an absurd thing to say!?!?! So, I will not recommend this company!!!

Use this company if you have nothing better to do than sit at home all day in suspense. They unapologetically showed up 3 hours late to my appointment with absolutely no communication. The tech was blaming the office and the office was blaming the tech. Their incompetence threw off my entire day and I was offered nothing in return.

The tech Brent was efficient and on time. He didn’t oversell us. He even turned locks around that were upside down and lubricated all keyholes so they all work smoothly now.

Luis was the technician that came to my house and re-keyed my locks. He was quick, professional, friendly and communicated very well what my options were with some existing issues I had with my locks.

The young man came to install the thermostat and was unsure of the wiring. He told me himself he was insure and told me he would come back to check it if it did not work. After a few day, I called him and he sent another tech to come look at the problem. The tech stated he had done everything he could. I contacted the original tech and let him not the air was still not working properly. Yet again, he said he would be out to check it and go over how it works (as if I couldn't read the manual and had not tried fixing or looking at it). Just for him to call me and tell me I needed to contact a a/c tech to come to my house and look at. Umm excuse me it was working before you out your hands on it, so you call a a/c tech and have them look at. Besides, you were the one from jump that wasn't for certain of your work and let it be known it would be a possible problem! Now, its a problem and you do not want to fix and I have to get it fix at my expense... So much for trying to get a thermostat to save money and energy!?!

This company has been, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. Due to circumstances out of my control, I have to move out of country. EVERY other company (phone, cable, internet) has been so understanding and accommodating. This company has basically said who cares, pay us for services we cannot provide. I was willing to transfer services, they cannot accommodate, yet still wish me to pay? In what works is that even ethical? I would higher consider a different company. This was not the only issue with them, but by far the worst. The staff does not know what they are doing. If you change your wi-if, they will charge you to come out and update the WiFi instead of provide information via phone. Basically, it seems as if they want to squeeze every penny from customers.

Never again my door knob fell off the lock is broken. They must of forgot to put a screw back in they came out on Monday March 4th to re-key the home $69. I notice an issue with the keyhole it first on Thursday, March 7th. When I called I was told that I needed to email them pictures to show proof of the problem with the door knob. After sending pictures per their request today is March 11th I received a phone call stating that they can’t come out until Wednesday the 13th. I have the cable guy here today the Internet provider here today the whole door knob fell off. So now I don’t even have a front door knob.
