Amazing Leak Detection

I had an extremely high water bill (my water usage was over 3x the normal amount), so I called and/or emailed some plumbers and leak detection companies. Terry at Amazing was not only the quickest to respond (some emails were long after-hours), but he also explained things the best and gave me the most reasonable quote. After a thorough investigation with his equipment, he pinpointed the leak and gave me options.

I opted for the re-route through the attic. He and his crew worked relentlessly through some of the hottest weather in July. I've never seen three guys go through so much iced tea! The amount of work and effort they put into fixing my problem was amazing (pardon the pun), considering how much it cost. They also used top-notch materials for all the parts they installed or replaced. Terry explained stuff to me every step of the way - the what, the why, and the how - instead of just doing unnecessary stuff to pad the bill. I know for a fact it would have cost hundreds, if not thousands more if I would have had a normal plumber do the repairs.

Terry is VERY knowledgeable and gave me plenty of great tips. He guaranteed all his work for a year or two (I can't remember which offhand), but I can tell he's a guy of integrity and would most likely fix anything he worked on even after that period. If you have a leak, I can't recommend Terry enough. This leak - with the outrageous water bill, potential cost of repairs, possible damage to my house, and inconvenience of having to keep shutting the water off to avoid wasting more water - had me TOTALLY stressed out. But after Terry came out the first day and found the leak, my mind was MUCH more at ease.

We had water coming up through the concrete on our pool deck. We were ready to tear into concrete when I talked to Terry one evening about the problem. He talked us into letting him come up and take a look before we did anything. He and Fisher came up the next day and started checking the entire system. About half way through their process, Terry suspected the problem could be isolated and solving the problem would not require tearing up concrete. Further checking proved him right. His experience and honest approach paid off for us. We lucked out contacting Amazing Leak Detection. These guys are good and very fair.

WOW! Awesome service! After spending $600 with another company and not getting anywhere the guys at Amazing diagnosed my problem quickly and didn't charge me for unnecessary pressure test. On top of that they spent the other half of their time explaining how I could fix it myself. Saved me thousands! No Joke. Can not recommend this company enough! We have had issues with our pool and spa for years. We use other companies and they never found the problems. Joe came out and identified 2 leaks which we fixed only to find we still had more to fix. They came back and dove underwater to find a bad floor drain that had been leaking from the original construction 24 years ago. They promised to solve our problem and came back promptly to find what others could not identify. I did not think anyone could find what they found. No additional charge for the additional call back.

recently bought a house with a pool that was needing to be filled everyday. I suspected there was a leak with the skimmer so called these guys to help pinpoint where the water was coming from. he found the crack and hole in my skimmer and quoted me the cost to fix it. i asked if this was something i could diy expecting him to say no but he explained that i could do it myself and told me what materials id need. i did however hire them to do the repair also. woke up this morning and all the water is still there!

We used amazing leaks for our pool. We had a pipe that was underground that was broken and flooding our neighbors yard. Amazing leaks was able to come out right away and repair the pipe and give us a great deal. They are very friendly and efficient. I recommend them 100% and in the future I will use them again for other issues.

I only spoke with their receptionist. If their service is anything like their receptionist, I would think twice. She sounded extremely disinterested about scheduling service and sounded like she was annoyed to even be talking to me.

Well worth the call. Showed up at scheduled time and went through the whole house and found the leak. Also gave an estimate and saved me a lot of money

I am out of town and can't handle my main line leak. They help me to detect water leakage and sent me an awesome report. And then, they help to replace my main line from water box to the front of house. Very good value and patient for this project. recommend

We called this company in early March for a quote, they were unable to come until March 22nd and then unable to do the repair they diagnosed for another few weeks. They charged us $650 for the repair that took less then an hour and within hours the hot tub was empty again. When I sent a pic of the empty hot tub, I was told they were busy and would be unable to come back out to look at it until April 6th. So, we are almost $1000 and a month in with a non working hot tub and they can't come back over two weeks? On 4/9/19 we get two quotes, one for a quick fix - $800-$1250 and another for a proper fix for $1450-$1850, this included fixing our cool deck, even though we don't have cool deck. They said they do this fix on 5/15/19, so almost two months from our original call. Spring came and went as did our guest, with an empty hot tub, now baking in the son. I asked if we could be given credit for the money we had already paid and was told no. Long story short, we called someone else and the accurately located and fixed the leak within a few days for a fraction of the cost. I rarely write reviews, but if I charged a client for a job and didn't do it correctly, I would refund them their money and fix it immediately. We wasted $950 and months with this company.

Mike and Joe worked on putting a new skimmer in and replacing our really old one professionally and timely and did a great job! They communicate and kept me up to date and always showed up on time. Our experience with Amazing Leak Detection was EXCELLENT!

It began when I first called and spoke with Meghan. She listened to my explanation of the problem with our pool and promptly scheduled a time for them to come out to evaluate the situation.

Michael came out and did an initial test to begin the process of detecting the cause of our pool leak. He gave me the probable cause of the leak.
The next time they came out, Joe (Michael's Supervisor) was with him and the did a more detailed analysis. Joe advised that there could be a couple of reasons for the leak.

By a process of elimination, they were able to discover the cause of our leak. They were very diligent in pinpointing the cause, as it wasn't readily obvious. They took the time to do the job right and were professional in not doing work that did not need to be done. They determined the exact cause of the leak before they did anything. Joe didn't want us to spend money on work that did not need to be done. We certainly appreciated his integrity!

I was impressed by the customer service that Amazing Leak Detection provided. They kept in communication with us as to when they'd be here and what the plan was when they arrived. They were ALWAYS on time.

I noticed that my water and electric bill had gone up quite a bit and I was confused about where the leak was occurring, so I gave Amazing Leak Detection a call. I am so happy I did! They came out and found the leak and did a reroute. I highly recommend this company. They did an awesome job!

It may seem strange to highly rate a service that wasn't used but here it is.

I described my problem and was told that it wasn't the kind of issue they could resolve. Instead, the owner explained how to check if indeed it was a leak. Most memorable was this comment - I don't want to charge you for something you don't need.
