Initiated through my home warranty. We had an old faucet that was leaking in our shower and a plumber came out and let us know they weren’t able to find a replacement for it so they’d have to cut through our cultured marble and install a new valve and faucet. Things appeared to work fine until I discovered water damage and in a closet downstairs from an active leak where we had the repair done. Had another plumber come out through the home warranty because I didn’t want to call Alan’s again unless I had to and he said it wasn’t threaded properly. Now I’ve had to submit a claim through insurance for water mitigation and repair for the whole shower because the old cultured marble can’t be matched. Would never recommend. If you want to just cause more issues for your home go with them.

This company was the vendor sent through our home warranty plan. The technician came out on time which was nice, however he said he fixed the issues we were having and did not. We had to call another plumber a day later because the issue was not resolved. Not only were both of our bathroom valves still leaking but one of them was missing the two screws that hold it in place. When confronting the front office about their poor service and missing parts to our valve the woman I spoke with was very rude and did not attempt to resolve any issues. She said she would have the manager call me when he can so we'll wait and see. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Aside from them showing up on time the service was absolutely horrible overall.

Terrible! Charged us $350 for a 20 minute job! Unethical. On top of that they used the cheapest junkies parts. When we called to discuss our concerns with them they keep telling us to call back tomorrow… that they can’t do anything about it. I’m totally ok paying a fair wage for a fair job… but this is a bit extreme! Go find a plumber who treats their clients fairly!

I was put in touch with Alan’s plumbing through my home warranty company to fix my garbage disposal. They sent out a tech who “fixed” the clog but punctured the disposal in the process. I didn’t know it at the time but when I called back a day later to report that it now had a big leak the only anwser I could get was “just call the warranty company again”. Despite the fact that THEIR tech created the issue they wanted nothing to do with helping fix it. They were incredibly unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality work.

Chris, from Alan's Plumbing, came out today and couldn't have been nicer. He was on time very professional and very personable. He did a great job. I was very pleased with the work he did, which was covered by my home warranty company.
I decided to have him fix some things I needed done that weren't covered. He Installed a kitchen faucet and did a great job at a very fair price. I definitely recommend Allen's plumbing and especially Chris and will use them again.

Plumber came out on behalf of my warranty company. I called about guest bathroom shower. First he said the handle isn't broken at all and one of the parts being completely loose and unattached was aesthetic so there is no coverage.

When I showed him the handle comes right off he accused me of breaking it in front of him and that he saw me mishandle it.

Then he said there was no coverage because the fixture isn't original (it doesnt have to be original for coverage to apply). Then he said the wrong joint was used for the shower head so that wasn't covered and for the same reason that it also wasn't original. The house is over 20 years old why would it be original?! Most items included in warranties are not!

Then he said well only shower head is included in his order and not the handle so I have to submit a different work order and pay again. No, I called about the guest shower and the guest shower needs to be fixed.

He was getting upset because I countered each of his claims that it wasn't covered based on the my contract in hand. The plumber was very aggressive when I countered back until i told him be needed to stop shouting at me in my home. He lingered in my garage on the phone for another 20 minutes before I told him he needs to leave my premises I'm very uncomfortable with his conduct.

I can’t thank Alan’s Plumbing enough! We were originally paired with them by our home warranty company to correct stoppage in a guest bathroom. They completed the work timely and efficiently but also found a leaking pipe. Turns out the pipe cracked down through the foundation on our old home. They were able to correct the issue and did an amazing and clean job! Cleaned up after themselves and left our home as if the pipe was never cracked. Thank you Alan’s Plumbing!

The actual plumber was nice enough although it took three trips to find out the problem and I was told everything was fixed after the first visit. I was also yelled at by the crazy appointment setter for requesting they fix things faster than the estimated 1-2 weeks quoted (this is after the three prior visits) which was weird enough but she also thought it a good idea to carry it into aggressive and angry emails arguing that she's not going to sit and call 20 people on the phone to find the part herself. When I asked her to calm down (I couldn't get a word in because she was yelling at the top of her lungs)I had to ask her to please just call when the needed part came in the mail and to stop communicating with me otherwise. She sarcasticly stated that I could always ask my home warranty to just give me my money back and fix the shower my self and that she is the only person on the phone so I would have to deal with her. She still sent another email stating that she thinks it best in the future if I do not use their services. Well finally we agree on something... Honestly the strangest dealing with a vendor that I have ever experienced. I'd bet money this person is related to the owner. No way anyone else would allow that. I've yet to have my shower fixed so I will update if and when that happens. It ended up being a cartridge needing to be replaced. I'm not sure if this is a tricky fix or not. My issue isn't with the plumber although it would have been nice if it was diagnosed properly the first time. We'll see if it gets fixed at all.

Do yourself a big favor and stay clear of this company. They did shoddy work and use very very cheap parts and the work they did caused my pipes to leak. If I had used a knowledgeable plumber in the first place I would've never encountered this issue. Read reviews before you call them as you can see they have many bad reviews. When I told the girl Tammy and she was very unprofessional and rude she cancelled my appointment. I am going to submit a complaint with the Arizona contractors association.

My water heater went bad. Leaked causing subsequent water damage in my home.

Called homeowners insurance they sent water remediation service that arrived first.

Called home warranty, they sent out Alans Plumbing. Their tech Jeff said that if I used his water remediation service that he would get me a new water heater tonight. Doesn't matter that you just signed the papers with those guys, my guys will come in and take care of your issues and I will bring you a new heater tonight.

I explained that my homeowners insurance sent out a group and that I was going to use them. I further explained that they would do whatever necessary to make it possible to install the new water heater tonight.

He said, I was going to do it as a favor if you used my guys again pulling their card from his pocket. I won't be able to help you if you don't use them.

I called the desk at Alan's plumbing. The scheduler said, we don't make two calls in one day. If he doesn't have a tank on his truck, then we will have to schedule another time. I just spoke with him, he did not tell you he would bring you a water heater tonight.

Being extorted by a tech is not an ethical way of doing business......

I hope Jeff's kick back is worth this review and the reviews I will write to Google, Angie's list, the BBB and Fidelity my warranty company.

Home warranty Co sent out Allen's plumbing. Ryan who worked the phone was polite and to my amazement offered same day service on Veterans day. Ryan handled the phone like professional, even calling me to let me know plumber was on his way. Because I own my own business and know the importance of a CSR Ryan's service stood out.
Manuel the plumber was friendly, efficient, and courteous. Manuel fixed our plumbing issue while keeping my area clean which I appreciated very much.

Replaced our hot water heater the same day we call. Excellent service. Installer (Chris) was very professional and did a great job. Price was reasonable and their were no extra charges for new fittings and lines, everything was included. Will definitely use them again.

We redid our bathroom and Pete from Alan’s Plumbing came to help put in the new tub and change plumbing to one faucet! He was very skilled! He then came back to attach the hardware. We have used their services before and would highly recommend them!

Had a home warranty call this week, and the Insurance Co sent out an A/C guy per my request. Those guys came out and did nothing but tell me that I needed a plumber. So, I called the Ins co, and they sent out Alan's within two hours. The technician, Chris, found the problem - it was with the A/C! Instead of telling me to call back for an A/C tech, he was able to take care of the issue. I appreciate the 'I can' instead of the 'I can't'

If you value your home and time don't use this company. Do not let your home warranty tell you they have no other vendors. Two weeks ago I called my home warranty about a link between the first and second floor of my home. Within an hour I received a scheduling call from Alan's to come out the next day. So far so good, right? The tech shows up, say its the toilet washer ring not the shower like a thought. Ok fine, I'm not a plummer what do I know. Works done, I pay my co pay for the service and we all go on our marry way.
Fast forward two weeks, the 'toilet' leak is now a big water bubble in my kitchen and a big mess. I call my home warranty and they send the same company. They call right away to schedule the visit the next day. So far so good. They say they will be at my home between noon and 5 pm. After my husband wastes his whole day waiting for the plummer to show. They call at 5 pm to tell me that the plummer is finally on his way (finally). I get home at 5:45 pm and they plummer is just getting to my home. irritated at this point but not his fault.... until….I find out that this is the same plummer that came out two weeks earlier and didn't to the job right the first time. He tells me its another call, he can't fix it tonight and it will be another $75 copay. I ask him to explain what is wrong and his response is:Your warranty authed the work then took it back and i'm late for my next callI ask for his name since he has now gone from being unprofessional to down right rude. I ask for his last name and he refuses to give it to me. At this point I getting pretty ticked off so I ask he was the person who came out the first time and he says yes. So I ask him to help me understand how the same leak is now a whole new problem because he missed it the first time? it deteriorated from their ending with get out of my house.
My next call is to my home warranty, turns out he bold faced lied, they did issue the auth to fix the leak but did not reverse it. After explaining what happened I was for another vendor to do the repair. I may still have to use them but I was clear that I would rather pay my $75 copay again to another vendor than allow Alan's plumming into my home ever again!

If you have read this far head the warning don't allow this company into your home!!!!

My warranty company sent Alan's to fix a shower temperature problem. The first tech replaced the cartridge but this did not fix the problem. They sent another one out as a recall and he did the same thing and the problem was not fixed. I decided to just not use the shower as it is a 2nd one for me but months later, finally decided to try again to have it fixed. The warranty company sent out another company who was able fix the problem in under 30 minuets. What I am mad about is that I had to pay the service fee each time, even though the problem was not fixed by Alan's.

Rip off. Initiated a call through home warranty for a plumbing leak. They wanted $1,500 for a 4 hour job. They said they need authorization from the home warranty company, most likely they will only cover $1,000 so I would have to pay the additional $500. I put the project on Thumbtack and multiple plumbing companies came by and quoted between $300 to $500 in total.

I have a home warranty through AHS and was assigned Alan's Plumbing for my shower repair. I was scheduled between 8 and 12 received a phone call at 8:40 saying the technician was on his way. My tech was Karl and he identified the problem right away and had it fixed in no time. He answered all my questions and gave me some advice on how to avoid future problems. My experience was great!

I am so grateful for Alan's plumbing! They helped us out when one of our pipes broke. They were very fast, polite, and genuine. I really appreciate that they only charged us a quarter of what the other plumber we had look at it was going to charge. I highly recommend them.

Long story short, the plumber who came to my house was a complete jerk, even the guys I had doing a remodle job here could not believe he was such a jerk as well. He also told me they only install one size water heaters. Needless to say he didn't do the job... Audios amigo! I would never use Alan's Plumbing in the future, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

We used them for a hotwater heater that went bad. Normally this is something I would do myself, but had a home warranty from recently purchasing our home. They couldn't get out to us until the next day, so that part was not awesome, but when they did get out here, he was able to get everything taken care of and they did a nice clean job. No leaks, no issues and everything is to code.

I live in a small house with one bathroon in the middle of Phoenix, and older home with plumbing that could be just as vintage. Last week we started having problems with the sink not draining and after playing phone tag with anoth plumbing company we contacted Alan's. They came out right away and cleared the problem. Little did we know at the time that would create a problem with the tub and toilet. They came back the next day as cleared the line again. The problem seemed to be gone from our lives until Friday night, when the toilet and bath started backing up again. We contacted Danny the plumber who was out previsously and he made it a point to come out free of charge on a saturday morning to help us out. He was so sweet, he took his time to explain what he felt could be the problem. We was able to fix the blockage and recommend some additional steps we could take to ensure that the problem would cease. I trust him and Alan's and would call them again if anything was to arise. Thank you Alan's

I see that some people say they have had a bad experience with Allen Plumbing!!

and looks like they all had a Home Owner's Warrantee...,

As for me after my experience's with my Warretee Company, I am off them for good, , they had sent 3 different plumbing companies here to fix my dish washer and all three were not able to fix the heavy severe grinding noise's..from it ... and after numerous calls, I was told that noise's were not covered for replacements,
a friend told me about Allen's Plumbing
and I called them and guess what they had it fixed in 20 minutes...and it's been fine ever since..
so go head and buy Home warrentee's.!!!!!!!!!!.

DON'T USE THEM... Here for 10 minutes, turned a valve and left. That valve started to leak, flooding the adjacent room, but no one noticed until it has been leaking for about 4 hours, since it was in the garage. Did i get a sorry when i called again, opps we screwed up, NO, nothing. The second guy came later that night and fixed the problem, 10 hours after it started, and 4 hours without water.

The second guy seemed friendly, almost too friendly being the only reason he was there was to find something else to try and charge. Not to worry he found the house had high water pressure and needed a $440 fix, which he could provide. I looked up the part he finally installed 3 days later ($106), and it took him 30 minuted to install. If you do the math that's $334 labor charge, meaning the company charges over $600 per hour.

Did i mention that the flooded room is still without carpet, and will be for more than a week, and that assuming it will get repaired on monday. I hope you consider twice before choosing this company. And check their work, it just might save you a FLOODED ROOM.

Horrible customer service. I used them through American Home shield. I had another issue come up while the tech was at my house. I called american home shield they added on the service request while the tech guy was there. I called Allens Plumbing, they said, no go. Even though he was still there, they would not even allow him to LOOK at the other issue, even though they did see AMS had authorized the second item and would pay them for it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF YOU WANT ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Never use this company!!! My home warranty sent these people out. They came out three times with a different excuse why they couldn't fix it. Wasted my time for three weeks while my yard, front wall and floor was getting drenched more and more each day.

The worst plumbing company EVER!!!! I had a few jobs that had to be done, so I looked up on Angie's List (which is also a waste of time & money, btw) the guy came, spent 1/2 day walking around from job to job and in the end didn't fix ANYTHING properly. He had to go out to find parts, didn't find them. The shower is still leaking, he made the toilet worse than what it was, just horrible.
SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
