When my 18 year old heating and air system was coming to the end of its useful life I had air & water mechanical replace the system. Great price and installation! I have had a maintenance agreement with them for many years and have always had great service.

I've been using Air & Water Mechanical, formerly Air Factor, for two decades, and other family members now use them too. Everything they do is prompt, reasonably priced, and professional. We just replaced an HVAC system and 1 week later they sent out my regular maintenance technician just to do a post-installation inspection by a different person. I don't know how many other companies would do that but it seemed very proactive to me. We've been on their annual maintenance plan for a long time, and also had a water conditioning system put in by them.

Needed to install 2 new AC units in my home. After dealing with 6 pushy car salesman from other HVAC companies, the Sales Manager Kevin was a blessing. His no nonsense, down to earth, informative approach was refreshing and he provided a very reasonable, competitive quote.... plus their great reviews on several sites made it an easy choice. I base all of my purchases on experience and customer service. I test companies to see if they are willing to work with their customers if it's needed or not and dig deep to see if they are trained and qualified. I was satisfied to find that Air & Water Factor work to try to provide the best price, customer service, product and installation for their customers. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and the installation went smoothly and clean...and that is saying a lot coming from a very picky and informed consumer.

Just as a side note to those dealing with the same difficult expensive decision. After several companies coming to my house promising this and that and new everything....from the guys with shoe booties, trucks with logos plastered all over them, the guy that comes with the laptop and a portable printer, measurements, my attic probably felt violated after everyone taking pictures and measurements......to the sales guy with gold jewelry and exposed chest trying to school me instead of informing me (George Brazil...no thanks)....just know that all of that overhead is fluffed in the quote they hand you.

Bottomline is Air and Water Factor is a great company and their prices, customer service and installations are probably the best you will find...unless you like paying for fluff. :)

We have used Air & Water Mechanical for years utilizing their services ranging from AC Maintenance, Reverse Osmosis Maintenance, Hot Water Heater Maintenance and smaller plumbing services. Just had Mario Casias out to look into a leaky toilet and he was on time, professional, explained everything extremely well and very courteous. A prime example of why we will continue to use this company in the future.

These folks installed a new Trane split system at my house. On one of the hottest days of the year their crew spent hours in a hot attic and on the roof to get my equipment installed without a break and without a complaint (At least to me! Their boss may have heard about it!) They did a fine job. The system works well and the price was more than competitive. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We have used Air and Water Mechanical for many years for our A/C needs. The office staff are always friendly and responsive. The technicians are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Chris has been especially wonderful, and he takes the time to thoroughly diagnose, explain and offer solutions. They have also gone out of their way to accommodate our schedules, sometimes on very short notice. They were even able to schedule a last minute service call to fix my son and daughter-in-law's A/C unit at the end of the day today. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs prompt, reliable, friendly service.

I have used Air & Water Mechanical (although it is still called Air & Water Factor on this website)
for a few years: the y installed my R O system and water softener. Once a year the R O system filters get changed and the water heater gets purge. These maintenance jobs were done a couple of days ago by Logan; he is a fine young man, courteous and friendly who did a great job! :-)

UNDISCUSSED DELAYED CHARGES BEWARE!!
This company recently charged me with an invoice for a service that occurred 9 months ago. I was told at the time that the service was included in the existing service contract that I had with the company. Up until recently I had not received any notice that charges were due even thought they claim to have sent me multiple reminders- which I never received. They also never mentioned outstanding charges when I continued to use their services.. I settled up for later jobs without this charge ever even being MENTIONED. This is incredibly shady.
I highly recommend to not use this company.

This is a great company. Fantastic service, excellent technicians, with professionalism and humor at the same time. They responded quickly to our call and they took care of our problem. They made sure everything worked perfect before they left. We highly recommend them to all of our friends and to our family.

Great service!

I called on an emergency line this morning. Our air went out last night. I was very pleased to get someone out so quickly. It was a bad capacitor. Chris was very knowledgeable and honest. I was very pleased with the quick response, excellent service and price.

Do not use this company. The people that work for your company are shady. They will say anything to get out of doing a job correctly. They installed my blower for my chiller and did not install return vent duct work the blower is blowing nasty stale air from the crawl space/attic. Also in this space between the walls you were supposed to fix a broken sewer vent pipe. Which you failed at. It is still cracked and still stinking up my apt.
I have over 20 years of maintenance/construction experience and have never seen the level of incompetence your company has displayed, 2 jobs back to back incomplete.
To everyone reading this stay away from this company, unfortunately my apartment uses them.(the venue on camelback)
And I am stuck with them. Which is terrible.

I’ve used Air and Water Mechanical at the many hotel properties I help manage in the past and have always had an amazing experience. This past week, in 115 degree weather my home AC unit quit working.

Chris came out and was very kind, fixed the issue within a 40 minute time frame and had my AC blowing cold before he left.

Super friendly staff on the phone when I was setting up my appointment for AC unit maintenance. Day of service I got a text letting me know my service tech was on the way. Very punctual- I believe his name is Jake. He is very knowledgeable and professional, friendly. Whole experience was super smooth and easy. Love this company. Did my air conditioner system Approx 2 years ago. They come out on service contracts and always are on time. They are straight forward, always dig down to see what the problem is. Always check out other issues... today Ed came out to install a water pressure valve and diagnosed a leaky house bib as well. ( which of course I already knew about).

I called this company and within 1.5 hours they returned my call and were able to get to me in 3 hours Jake, the tech that came out, was very friendly, professional, polite and very knowledgeable he explained what needed to be done, got pricing from the main office and promptly got the work finished they offered me and I purchased a maintenance service agreement which ended up saving me money in the long run I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends and family. I had one of my AC units go down, on a Friday night. Called Air & Mechanical when they opened on Saturday. They were able to have a technician out before noon that day. After determining the unit was not repairable, they identified a replacement and scheduled the install for the upcoming Wednesday. With both the product and labor shortages everyone is experiencing I was very happy with everything.

I have two Trane AC units, and have had them both replaced by Air and Water Mechanical within the past few years and they did a great job on the install. They were well priced and both installs were flawless. I’ve also used them for annual check ups, and the few service issues I’ve had they’ve come through every time. I’ve dealt with several different service techs and they all been very good, professional and friendly. I’ve had Jake several times and he’s been outstanding. Very solid company and I definitely recommend.

We are longtime customers and continue to get great service. We recently had a new heat pump installed and Tim gave us the best price,(including some customized installation), compared to two other companies in the valley. He also spent many additional hours without charging us to address an air flow problem in our ductwork. We don't think we would have received this kind of attention, service and commitment from anyone else.

Bad customer service

I had a leak in my toilet tank and Mario C came out to fix it. Service was excellent and professional.

Roberto and Robert where wonderful. They explained what they would be doing and why they would be doing the work to correct an Air flow problem I was having

with my air and heat system. They added a n additional air return. My ceilings are vaulted and rather than cut through the ceiling to add an additional duct and have to have the ceiling repaired they added alarger ducting for the flow (my words). FOLKS THEY WERE C L EAN!!.. Covered my clothing in my closet, Vacuumed using their own vacuum. I am very pleased and highly recommend them. AIR & Water you are lucky to have these guys working for you!!!

Not only late and, but incredibly incompetent. I was assigned Air & Water Factor from my home warranty company, Republic, for a garbage disposal tripping the circuit breaker issue. After 50 minutes past the scheduled service time (which was 7AM, first service call of the day), I had to call the dispatcher which went to voice mail. I got a call back at 8:05AM telling me that they had issues with the driver picking up the truck. No problem, I just expect a courtesy call when you are going to be an hour late.

When they showed up, he plugged in the garbage disposal and it tripped the circuit breaker. He told me I have a bad switch. I said plug another garbage disposal into the outlet and see if it works... he said he doesn't have a garbage disposal. I asked 'Why would you show up to fix a garbage disposal without one in your truck?' else in and see if the switch works? He said he isn't an electrician he doesn't diagnose electrical problems. I told him it's not an electrical problem. I plugged in a high horsepower air compressor to the outlet for the garbage disposal and turned it on / off to demonstrate it wasn't the switch. He said he had to call Old Republic to get the work order reassigned for electrical.

I think the plumber was just hoping to turn the hex wrench wrench on the bottom of the garbage disposal, reset the breaker, and get their $65 fee. He knew the disposal was bad when he left. He was either lazy, or incompetent, either way I am glad Republic sent another plumber out to replace the broken disposal.

I recently purchased a new AC unit from Air & Water, along with adding some additional returns in bedrooms to increase circulation. The install went almost exactly as they said it would. They showed up when they said, and got the install done for the most part of a day, which was the expectation they set for me (it had to be replaced in parts, as the access was not nearly big enough for an AC unit). I did get some competing quotes from a few other companies, and Air & Water was much less than some of the competition. In my experience with this company, the thing that really makes me want to do business with them is the technician, Chris, is honest, knows AC in and out, and is accountable for his company's work. He makes it clear that his goal is to make sure our AC is working for us, and that if there is any problem they will take care of it. During the install of the air returns, a cat6 network cable was cut in the process (accidents happen). The installers at the time did not think they caused any issues, but when Chris stopped by to install some new thermostats and check on the work of the installers, he identified the wire was cut and was prepared to repair it right away. Knowing it was in my attic, he could have bet that I would not want to crawl in there and could have told me anything... but he owned up to someone else's mistake without any question. Since the new AC has been installed, everything is working great and we are very happy.

Air & Water Mechanical Services sent me a technician on the same day after they received my initial call. Daniel was prompt, knowledgeable and polite. He gave me a thorough explanation of the issue and what could be done. Daniel worked diligently to excavate the damaged pipe and locate the leak. He then installed the new main service pipe, fixed a prior plumbing mistake, filled in all trenches with dirt, spread the gravel over the work site and cleaned before he left -- all in under 7 hours. Daniel was also giving me interim updates, as well as heads-up before he would turn off the water supply. All in all, I am very happy with the services that Daniel rendered. The price was reasonable, they gave me 2 years warranty on labor and 20 years warranty on the pipe, and I would definitely use this company again.

You never want to have a to get a new AC unit but this company made it as easy and stress free as they could. Fast response time and fast and quality installation as well as very friendly. Thank you Kevin for all the help

Tim and the whole crew were just fantastic.
We had 3 companies come out to do an initial appraisal. The first company barely looked at the system and quoted an outrageous amount. The second company did a thorough job but recommended non-matching components (in the same price range as Water Factor). What I really liked about Air & Water Factor was not only the thorough review of the system but the clear explanation of what they needed to do to not only replace the AC but improve the overall performance with proper installation and added insulation.
Since moving into the house our AC has ALWAYS knocked which irritating. Tim knew exactly what was wrong (actually a fairly simple fix). The installed system has worked beautifully and is very quiet. Very Satisfied. Highly recommended.

I hired Air & Water factor to replace both of my air conditioners at my property in Gilbert, AZ and I was extremely pleased with the service. Initially I had several contractors to provide me with a quote, but these guys seemed to be the most knowledgable and courteous. They were highly recommended by a friend of mine who had service done by them before. Their estimator and the technicians were very polite and patiently answered all of my questions regarding the new air conditioners in a professional manner. The technicians cleaned up very well after themselves once the installation was done. The office crew were very polite and courteous as well. My overall experience with this company was extremely positive and I would certainly hire them again for any air conditioner or plumbing related service.

Just as the temperature went up, the A/C went out. I called and they sent Jeff out. Jeff answered all my questions and was able to diagnose the issue, relieving my worst fears of having to replace the whole unit. Jeff worked efficiently in replacing my motor and made sure to test everything before leaving. I appreciate the speed of getting Jeff out and his professionalism. It's now getting nice and cool.

Wow! It's very rare to find a company that offers the high level of customer service and quality work that Air and Water Factor does while still offering competitive prices! We are going through a very stressful remodel, dealing with many different contractors and having VERY different customer experiences. Our first plumber's quote was EXTREMELY pricey and our backup plumber bailed on us. Though we were previously unfamiliar with Air and Water Factor, we try to support local, family owned companies whenever possible, so we decided to give them a shot.

Mel and Tim have been mindful of our budget and our customer experience from the beginning and when problems arose in either their estimated cost or timeline to complete the project, they did not make it our problem. It says Excellence matters on the side of their vans and they really do live by that. They stand by their work and made sure we ended up with a quality job. We're thrilled with the outcome and have found our new plumbing and HVAC company!

I have used this company three times for my business and have never had a bad experience. They are very honest and helpful. I like to know how to fix things myself and they have even showed me how to fix it myself when it is a basic problem. Their prices are very reasonable. I have them come out twice a year to service all my HVAC units. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy HVAC company in the valley!

Would definitely recommend there services. They were easy to deal with, on time and professional. The Technician Jeffrey M. that came out was awesome!! He was punctual, knew what he was doing answered all my question and got the job done. The mess was bigger than what we had though but he figured it out and did a great job. He even cleaned up after himself which I don’t see vary many technicians do.
Also me and my sister agreed he was pretty easy on the eyes... not sure if that last part helps 😂🤣😝 but would recommend them for sure!

I had an emergency with my A/C unit during the summer. Air & Water factor came out to fix the unit and found a part needed to be replaced. The A/C unit was not working at all and my house was extremely hot. Air & water did not leave me in these conditions due to the unit breaking down on Friday evening after business hours. They brought me a very nice portable A/C unit that was able to cool down a portion of my house. They where able to ordered and replaced the part extremely fast and had my house up an running and cooling before I knew it. They also where very fair with their pricing and had great customer service from the ladies at scheduling to the field techs. Highly recommended and they are my new go to A/C company.

So glad to have found this company after a lot of shopping around. I have a home addition / remodel project starting soon. I needed to get things lined up in advance for a multitude of reasons, mainly due to supply chain issues and the fact that so many companies are busy these days. That said, I was ghosted by four other companies before being contacted by Air & Water Mechanical. I explained to them up front that I was setting things up in advance and that my project was starting in a few weeks. They had no problem giving me an estimate and understanding my situation. They have been friendly, prompt and professional handling my project so far. Other companies wouldn't even return calls after I told them up front what was going on. I will update after installation, but so far I'm impressed ... stick with the family owned businesses, much better response.

I had an issue with my AC after hours, next morning bright and early Chris diagnosed and recommended replacement due to failure and age, Chris was extremely professional and patient with all my questions. I decided to replace ducts as well, couldn't say better things about Edgar and Anthony the installers, they were giving me updates every step of the installation process and were very efficient and professional.
