Ryan and Sunpro solar have been amazing. Incredibly fast install, energy pro upgrade is helping my home and my family too! Best warranties and service I could find out there and I had solar on my last home. I highly recommend Ryan and Sunpro!!!

I am so excited because my solar panels are up running today just less than four months from the contract day ! Nevertheless,I was told it could take up to six months. The whole team are very professional and awesome as well! Salesman Louis Garcia is very knowledgeable about their product and well explained in detail to his customer, making sure his customer understand completely about their cutting-edge product as well as the installation process. After contact, I was immediately followed up by the project manager Yesenia and kept me updated every step of the way in terms of the progress of the project. And every question were well answered during the process. And finally I should say the installation group also very impressive!

Hats off to Greg going the extra mile getting us the best price. He did great on his knowledge. Friendly and a super nice guy. Thank you.

Would recommend these guys to anyone I know (and they pay me $1035 for every referral I send their way!). They aren’t the cheapest company out there by any means, but they easily have the best value and my customer experience has been nothing but superb 6 months since my system was turned on. My sales rep Matt is always available to answer his phone and if he doesn’t know the answer to something, he finds it for me. A lot of companies have 25 year warranties, but these are bumper to bumper, full warranties. And like Matt said: these warranties are only as good as the company issuing them. ADT has been around for over a century, so I don’t think I’ll have to worry about them going out of business any time soon.

I couldn't regret more that I decided to go solar with ADT company. When the salesperson came to our house, everything seemed like a dream come true. We were not going to have another electricity bill, only the payments for the solar panels, with a total debt of 80,000 dollars. At first, everything was fast, and the solar panels were installed at the beginning of July. 60 days later, we started making the monthly payments as required by the contract. The problem started because after the installation. They told us they had to upgrade our solar panels, but 5 months have passed, and we are still waiting for someone to answer why our solar panels are not working yet. Different account managers hang up our calls. They don't answer the phones. They never return the calls, or when someone answers, they tell you they will ask their supervisor, but they never call you. Apparently, nobody cares about your problem, nobody is responsible, and no one does anything to fix it. The only person that calls us is Kristy to keep us updated, and she always says that we are waiting for the system upgrade to move forward. What update is that never changes? Cero progressed for 5 months, and when I asked her, she didn't have an answer. We have been making payments for three months for a service we are not receiving. I don't know what to do anymore or who to call. It is disrespectful, a scam, and a brutal deceit. I think the last solution I have left is to hire a lawyer to resolve this situation legally.

Horrible company (Sun Pro Solar) Installed panels on my roof and gave me a guarantee of 65% power to come from solar production or would add more panels. Well my year is up and I call in, the representative would not let me speak, asked to speak to a manager 3 times, told me the enphase app that they set me up with to track my power was a sales scheme to buy a battery and not correct with my production. Would not transfer me and then told me that because of the way I was speaking to her, a manager is not available and disconnected my call. I then sent an email to customer support and have yet to hear anything back. I want a call or I will be speaking with my attorney on this matter. I came to this company because it was Veteran Owned I will pursue matters legally as I have been mislead into a sale.

Hector is our person. He answered every single question we had and put our minds at ease that this was the right decision for us. We felt no pressure throughout the process allowing us time to research and think about our decision. We are comfortable with deciding to use this company For our solar needs. Thank you Hector.

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: We got permission to operate on 8/2/22. In the beginning our account manager was calling me weekly (as promised) with updates. After the loan processed and my solar panels were installed, all communication stopped. Since 8/10/22 one panel was not producing/working. After leaving numerous calls/messages, I do not get return calls or responses to my concerns. I have had at least 5 account managers handling my account. As of now, I have no idea who that person is any longer because they change so much and do not communicate. Nobody seems to hold any accountability on their end. My one panel was FINALLY fixed on 9/28/22 after so many calls on my end to get it done. The same day a second panel malfunctioned, and I informed them the same day...today is 10/22/22, and still no response or estimated time frame this will be fixed. My calls to supervisors, leads make no difference. My calls are hardly returned, my concerns are notated but again there is no answers. I would not recommend this company in the future. Your company really needs to work on communication and resolving issues and time frames instead of ignoring us. This has been by far the worst customer service experience I have had.

This is my third house going solar on. I wasn’t impressed with the last company I worked with so I googled “best solar companies in AZ” and up came Sunpro (now owned by ADT, which gives me some extra peace of mind). The difference in service between ADT/Sunpro and the original companies was night and day. No more waiting months to get repairs and they guarantee my solar kilowatts every year or they have to write me a check if they fall short for whatever reason. Customer service is quick to respond and the only minor issue I had with my monitoring app was resolved in a day. 5/5 highly recommends

If I could I would give zero stars. The so called customer advocates never provide a response and it seems that every two weeks I get a new customer advocate. I had my system installed on 01/03/23 and to this day I still don't have my system powered on.
The Energy Pro person they sent out to do my energy pro installation of LED bulbs, power strips and attice space enclosure was new and he did not have the invoice of what he needed to provide. The bulbs he did bring did not fit into the my light fixtures.
Stay away from ADT solar at all costs and go with a different company. I thought ADT Solar would be a reliable reputable company but they are far from that.

Sunpro Solar - Buyer Beware

Start-up - My house is a new build and is located in a non-HOA neighborhood. Leon Gavin (salesman) ensured my wife and I that because we don’t have an HOA that our system would be installed/completed within 90 days. We signed the paperwork in March 2022, we are currently in November with NO completion date in sight.

Installation – The installation started off well. We had no issues with the solar panels installed on the roof of the house. We had no issues with the installation of the electrical boxes next to the main electrical panel. The issues started after the 2 electricians left my main electrical panel partially completed. There has been arching from the loose cluster of wires hanging in my panel box. There are burn spots from the arching on the wall of the panel box and some of the wires look burned. The first power wall that was installed looked like it was dropped from the back of the Sunpro van with all the damage, dents and dings on it. The electricians stated that the power cell normally takes 3 guys to hang the power cell and that day there were only 2 of them. Sunpro replaced the power cell with no questions asked. The system has been sitting waiting on inspection for the last couple of months and the wiring isn’t even completed.

Customer service – I have the hardest time communicating with my account manager Yesenia Dorantes. She never answers the phone, emails, or returns calls. The days (few far in-between) that I get the opportunity to speak with her she never knows what’s going on. I get the same answer to all my questions… “your paperwork requires revisions” … At times I feel like I’m working with a new company, and this is the first time they are installing a solar panel system on a home. I've left messages with Nancy Flores (manager) and Becky Norton (Director of customer service). Both voice mails state they will return calls within 24 hours. I’ve left multiple messages and have not received a single call back.

I ’ve had nothing but trouble with this company and seems like it will be this way until (if ever) they complete the job. I’d definitely look elsewhere if you’re looking for a solar panel system for your home.

Started the process September 2022. Took several calls and emails to get scheduled for installation. We initially were with Sunrun and canceled our installation contract based off of Adolfo's guarantee we would be installed and fully operational before the end of 2022. Here we are January 2023, panels were installed almost 60 days ago, still NOT connected to SRP grid. Yesenia takes weeks to reply to any emails, phone messages or text messages. I have asked multiple times for a manager to resolve the issue why I am not finished with my complete installation. I already have received a statement from the finance company my monthly payment will be due in January and I have no service. I was promised in my contract a credit to my SRP acct, free digital thermostat, free light bulbs that were energy efficient, Pigeon guards around the perimeter of the panels, none of which I received to-date. They lock you up so you can't cancel without HUGE penalties. This has been an absolute nightmare. Potential customers beware of this company. I have had their ALARM systems for over 20 yrs between 3 homes, never had an issue with the ALARM side of the company. They should stick to alarm systems because they clearly have no clue how to do SOLAR PANELS. 20 yrs of loyalty gets you know where. Maybe this review of my experience so far will get someone to call me or finish my project before I have to take steps above and beyond to resolve this hostage of a contract they have created.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY. I bought panels through sunpro Solar/ADT Solar over a year ago, and they work great. The thing is, there are many other companies you could use that would do just as good of a job. My frustration comes due to the extraordinary lack of customer service. I had to have my roof replaced, and the roofing company offered to coordinate with the solar company to remove and reinstall the panels. Between the roofers and myself, we tried LITERALLY for weeks to get through the stupid customer service line to get any help at all with removing the panels. It took over a month to get a customer service rep assigned to my account to help. There were multiple delays and rescheduling that occurred, 0 transparency or substantive communication. I finally got them to complete the job a FULL 3 MONTHS AFTER MY INITIAL REQUEST. I cannot express to you clearly enough, PICK ANOTHER SOLAR COMPANY.

UPDATE: had the panels reinstalled FINALLY, and guess what? They messed up installing one, and it's been more than a month, and I've had to beg to get anyone out to even take a look. Don't waste your time with these people

We have had the WORST experience with ADT Solar. Started the process in September and are still today waiting to be full operational! Adolfo is the salesman who started out great but never returns calls or texts now. We get emails saying the same thing that their team is working on getting our inspections scheduled which is the easiest part of the whole process. Communication is awful and just ridiculous. Had we known what we know now we would NEVER have gone with this company!

Don’t just walk away from ATD Solar, run!

We have had solar installed on all of our homes, all using different companies.

When the salesperson comes to your home, it seems like a dream. The best company out there, but things start to go down hill after that.

The communication is non existent. I’ve called and multiple times and customer service has filled out escalation forms multiple times. Guess how many times someone, anyone has reached out… 0, not a manager not my account rep. It’s unbelievable.

Getting scheduled for install wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t call and follow up with them. Totally unprofessional.

The installation is a joke compared to other solar companies. They cut corners and leave your house in worse condition than what it was when they show up. Not to mention, 0 communication. They rang the doorbell once when they showed up, no updates or anything the entire time they were here or when they left.

To top it all of… it’s been months and our I tall is still not been completed! We’ve called even more time for an update, for scheduling. We aren’t even shocked anywhere when they do nothing.

One of my biggest regrets is going with ATD. Safe yourself the headaches and find a professional solar company that understand customer service.

Luis Garcia has been great through out the hole project since day one. He makes everything so I can understand.

Jose Lopez at Sunpro solar was very informative and professional. The installation crew was nice, gave me updates along the way, and was able to get it all installed in under 6 hours.

Ryan and Sunpro solar have been amazing. My panels were installed 2 weeks after signing the contact, energy pro upgrade is helping my home and my family too! Everyone was very respectful & they did an awesome job on the clean-up. We are waiting for TEP to schedule the inspection & the final electrical components to be installed which should be a month out. Fingers crossed that the rest of the process runs as smoothly as the panel install did. I highly recommend Ryan and Sunpro!!!

I was thinking when I installed the solar energy system, I would save some dollars, but on the contrary, this solar system is a failure, and now I am paying the loan bill and the electricity bill... adt proved to be a failure..and the biggest mistake was when I signed the contract with them..And the person who will contract with you, as well as the office manager after the contract is completed, if you contact them, they will tell you that he no longer works with Adt.

I don't have ADT, but they keep calling my phone and they called on a Saturday at 8 am waking this teacher up. That is unacceptable. I have blocked the number.

Marlaina from Sunpro was amazing. The process moved ever quickly. I got approved, I got a say in the design, and they are already here starting the installation. Everyone has been very nice and professional. I can’t wait to get it turned on.

Gloria Shaw and myself, Stephen Records made an appointment with Mr. Ryan Lapotsky to meet with with him to discuss getting solar on our roof here in Sahuarita, AZ back at the end March/beginning of April.
When Ryan met with us the first time, he explained everything so clearly that we had very few questions. We trusted him from the very beginning because he did not come on like a high pressure used car salesman.
Ryan is the most ethical man we’ve met in a long time. When we told him that, I think it made him blush. He is also a very humble man.Ryan also contacted us back in a timely manner whenever we texted him with questions. I believe he even pushed the other companies to get the light bulbs, power strips and the water heater wrap installed. When the HOA said the conduit wasn’t painted to their specifications, Ryan immediate got in touch with the company in Tempe, AZ that takes care of that. Cesar showed up on Wednesday afternoon and completed the job. He also found and replaced one of the roof tiles that was cracked by the solar panel installers. Very good job he did too. He deserves a commendation for doing everything he did.

All in all, Gloria and I agree that Ryan is one of the most honorable people we know. He is a wonderful asset to ADT Solar and should be commended for his work. We wish him great success in all his endeavors.

Joe Smith, our sales rep did a great job explaining everything about the solar program including the tax credit portion. The installers were quick and neat. It only took them 3 hours to install 13 panels.

Sunpro was extremely helpful with getting my system up and running. My sales rep Matthew Glosser was extremely knowledgeable, always there to pick up the phone, and was always willing to patiently answer my questions. The same goes for the customer care team— not one hold time that I can recall. Install was on time and they left my house immaculate. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

We were extremely disappointed by the way our salesperson Hector Hernandez stopped communicating with us once the sale was made.
We contacted him initially because he was referred to us .
Several of my neighbors have asked about our solar and we would never recommend this company because of the lack of communication
The only pleasant part of the process was Lucia Resendez, Isaac Torres, Anna Maria Torres and another lady named Jesenia.
They were in constant contact with us during the last few months of this ordeal.
We are just waiting for the last 2 checks, but I'm confident they will be sent soon.

Greg was very responsive to questions and has been good to work with. The process has gone smoothly. The only minor comment is that after Greg, and once Tia introduced herself as project manager, we received communications from several other people. Would suggest that comm be focused through the PM.

ADT showed up on time, worked continuously during adverse weather, and did a great job all around. They provided pictures. I like the guys who did the work and look forward to their return.

Before going any further with ADT Solar, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Sales reps and customer service never do what they promise. Sales rep's was misleading what their products will do, when install will start, and when the system goes live. One example: they told me to add 17 panels to my house to be 100% covered. With having 17 panels, that would be enough and to expect APS bills to be between 5 to 15 dollars a month. I went on to explain my life style, future goals, and what I would expect to cover everything. SURE, this is what my manager says that is needed and you're fully covered. So I chose to add 21 panels to protect myself for my future. So if I added a spa or an electric vehicle, there would be coverage. Just so you understand I purchased, not leased. I spend more money now then I did without solar. This is a combination of now my APS and solar payments. If you use more electricity at night, then Solar is not right for you. So for the next 10 years, I will be paying for a solar system that saves me $100 a month off my electric bill. Customer service never does anything to assist. No manager has ever reached out to resolve. Do yourself a big favor, go shop anywhere else. You will thank me.

BUYER BEWARE!!!Horrible communication! After more than 4 months system is still not connected and operational. Already have had to pay 2 loan payments! SunPro Solar received all of the funds and have been fully funded before the customer has received the product! They are taking their time because they have already been paid. I had heard of this happening but the companies made it right for the customer. I can’t get anyone from corporate or local to call me back. Worse decision we have made on our home. Only person that stays in contact is the sales rep and he says his hands are tied and that he feels bad for us. They are very unprofessional and lack ethics and morals. They have lied numerous of times and have shown up to our house unannounced multiple times. Messed up our electrical panel and turned off our power without us knowing. DO NOT GO WITH SUNPRO SOLAR!! Many more red flags to list

Very smooth with constant updates from the company on the whole process, was told install would take 45-60 days and install was done in half the time! Crew showed up on time and made sure everything was clean before leaving! Really lobed the fact that they are a roofing company and provided a longer warranty than anyone else on install

Hector was our salesman and I couldn't be more please with his knowledge and honest. What he said was all true. I did get to other estimates and by far they were the most honest and trustworthy company.

They were very knowledgeable about solar. They made their first goal since I was a new customer to educate me on their products and how they work. They didn't immediately go into a sales pitch. They were very courteous and friendly. They offered a very competitive price compared to other companies I looked at

This company has been harassing me for weeks, sometimes calling me 20-25 times within an hour. It makes it impossible to enjoy a podcast or stream videos because each call causes a pause in audio. They use called ghost numbers so you can’t block them. I’m mystified why any company would use such aggressive tactics since all it does is create strongly negative impressions of their company and/or product. I have actually warned dozens of people away from this company. It should be illegal to hijack someone’s phone number for what is essentially phone spam.

I would like you to be honest as you are supposedly a serious and responsible company (SUN PRO) why you offer money to people…that one buys your products; If you don't want to give to the family what you promise, don't mention anything, it would be better, so if any buy it, it's are responsibility...but don’t promise anything…. I'm NOT crazy. First you guys said “next week after signing the contract “ …then after my power was cut...it was next few days...then it was 12 weeks now it's week 15 and you guys didn't reply to the text.... . just tell the truth and DON'T LIE TO ANYONE

Justin is the best!! Sunpro did an excellent job with the whole process! I didn’t have to do much. They took care of everything from getting approvals from the city to making sure everything was properly working. They were able to guide me and made everything very easy!

I recently had Sunpro Solar install solar plans at my house. I was very impressed how organized the install was. They were very clean and efficient. Throughout the process, the logistics were perfect. I would recommend Sunpro Solar, if you looking for solar. They make sure they install the best panels and inverters. These panels are not the cheap Chinese ones, but the reliable Korean and Panasonic modes. They also installed the best inverters. There prices were better than the competiion, even though the competition tried to sell my inferior products. 5 Star to Sunpro Solar.

Have had solar panels installed for over a year and a half and they still aren’t running. Horrible customer service.

Poor customer relations and they push their solar on customers with their bully technique. They will not take no for an answer, and if you do say no they ask you why, when I was clear that their product was not right for me. If this is the start of their client relationship, I would hate to see how they treat their customers when they get all your money, I bet it is not good! Buyer beware.

They can't get their act together. They didn't show up for our initial appointment (no call, text, or email to let me know they weren't coming either) so I called to see what happened and they apologized and rescheduled. Next appointment they no-showed AGAIN! They wasted my time twice so I'm done with them.

Trey was the solar specialist I dealt with and he was amazing, so knowledgeable, honest and not in the least bit pushy. Their product is also superior to anything I’ve come across in my research. Hired SunPro to install a system on my new home. Their installer broke over 250 roof tiles stomping around on the roof and they replaced with the wrong color, the system, despite taking up most of the roof, does not produce enough power to offset my electrical cost despite being told by their salesman that I would not see an electric bill again, they no longer return phone calls and I am now working with the actual company, Enlighten/Enphase, to get a system that meets the promises made. I would never recommend SunPro or the Pro Companies as they are nothing but a subcontractor to another solar company and use nothing but subcontractors to do their installs, repairs, and are gone before the system starts to produce so they don't have to deal with the false sales pitch, I despise people willing to lie to make a sale. No lower breed in customer service.

Our previous homes were solar, my wife and I appreciate the environmental benefits of renewable energy. SunPro has provided a seamless transition to solar power. What worked well was having a project manager that was able to coordinate all the various entities from the electric company to the HOA compliance. Thanks to a well organized team.

Terrible company to deal with. TERRIBLE. Sales Rep, Scam Artist. Sold my elderly parents a $100,000 unit l, which they did not need, under the premise she wanted to buy their house so wanted the top of the line unit. BS. Tried to cancel, they refused saying we only had the 1sr 3 days to cancel. THEY WERE INSTALLING IT ALREADY- HOW WETE WE GOING TO BE ABLE TO CANCEL. SYSTEM WENT UP IN AUGUST 2020 - TO THIS DAY STILL NOT CONNECTED!!!!! Customer service sucks as do every single person I spoke to. They dont return calls and when I’d call, I got transferred from one person to another- sometimes speaking to 4 different people in one call. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone EVER. I only gave them 1 star because there wasn’t a minus zero.

I cannot believe the sheer quantity of phone calls you get from Managers who have called us in the 2 weeks since the unprepared sales pitch. I estimate 25-30 calls, even after I told them we decided against it. Different callers, different numbers. It's bordering on harassment.

Hector was absolutely wonderful to work with we will definitely recommend to all family and friends the process also went smooth from start to finish.

They bug you when tell them not interested to stop calling. Take off list.. They still call 50 times a day... Leave me alone. Still calling. Very annoying. Please stop or taking this as harassment. I may have to go to court
