I had a complicated plumbing issue in a hundred-year-old house, and the Viking plumbing guy helped work with me to figure out the best solution.
LOVE the note left on a local business window. When I need a plumber, I am DEF calling you. You rock!!
Prompt service when needed evaluates the Plumbing problem informs customer about Plumbing problem and fixes the problem in a good prompt timely matter I would recommend them from contractor Velez professional painting.

Jess solved the mystery of my water hammer...I felt like I was watching Sherlock at work! He was really nice and he fixed my problem. They did some work for us about 5 years when they were known as Taagen Plumbing and did great work then as well. If I ever need plumbing help, I will definitely call Viking.
I used Viking Plumbing several years ago to fix an issue with the drain in the upper unit of my duplex.
While the work was completed, I was shocked to find that the plumber left a GAPING HOLE in the wall that he went into -- and had no intention of fixing it.
Maybe it's the Girl Scout in me, but I was always told that you should leave things in better condition then when you found them -- clearly Viking Plumbing does not live by these same principles.
When I called to let them know that their contractor hadn't finished the work, I was told that they don't do repair -- just plumbing.
Really? So, you don't finish jobs, is what you're telling me. The bill was roughly $370 and I told them until someone came out to patch the hole, I was not paying the bill.
No one came to fix the hole. I never paid the bill.
Then, YEARS later, I get a call from a debt collector, trying to collect NEARLY $600 from me -- so, not only did they not finish the job, they're now adding another $200 to my bill?
I had to pay a separate contractor to come out and patch the wall that someone else had ruined. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
This company has terrible customer service, questionable ethics, and dismal results when it comes to finishing their work. I 100% DO NOT recommend their services.

Very good work, helped with sewage backup issue and leaking sink.
Always super helpful and reasonably priced. Shout out to Jesse who was there for us during our recent sewage backup -yuck - on a Saturday (of course). Very cheerful and informative (we kept our 6’ distance!) while helping us in our emergency. Have used them many times for a boiler replacement, minor plumbing issues and one time when they helped us figure out the issue over the phone for free and saved us a service call. Highly recommend.

Our floor drain was backing up and Viking saved us today.
Used them a few times. However, when my kitchen sink backed up to my tub, the plumber who came out cracked a pipe and tried charging me to repair it. I refused to pay for it and they took it off the bill. Now I'm on the Do not Service list...which is fine. There are a slew of great plumbing companies out there. Viking is not one of them. Their motto should be the customer is always wrong.
Ive had two experiences with shower fixtures that stop running The first was a decent plumber who flushed our lines and got everything working.
After the issue returned, we called again. They sent out Jess, who was knowledgeable and very professional. They replaced both fixtures, adjusted our hot water heater, and we couldnt be happier.
We've continued to use viking since then, and wouldn't consider another plumber.
These guys are always fast and wonderful to work with.
I called Viking to repair a toilet leak under the base. They were able to schedule my work within a few days. The plumber arrived when expected. He quickly diagnosed the problem then recommended a toilet flange replacement that I accepted. He quickly completed the work. The plumber was careful and cleaned up when he was finished. I was very satisfied with the work but should have clarified Viking's pricing before hand. The total repair cost about $320 but was billed at a flat rate so no trip charge or anything else exotic. I'm pretty cheap (and maybe out of touch) when it comes to pricing home services and would probably crab about any cost above $150. The work was well done!!
My thanks to Viking Plumbing, and particularly to Jimmy, for the excellent service. Prompt, courteous, neat and thorough. Explained what the issue was with a toilet that leaked around the base. It was original to my 1940 house, so I guess that I got my money's worth! Jimmy got a replacement one from the shop and had my bathroom operational again in no time. It's great to have the peace of mind knowing that you have a plumber you can rely on.
I told him that I had a very clogged drain in my bathroom vanity anyway but I did tell him I worked on it so it might be some other things going on there which they did not do count for peace that only got to unplug it but nothing no backup to fix it but we'll all set thank youI told me that I had to send a plumber because he only unclogs drains wished I was able to adequatelyWe couldn't do
I used Viking and I would use them again.
Quick response to our plumbing emergency. Great technical skill, professional, courteous and friendly service technician. Took care of contact & interaction with Village DPW staff for street shutoff. Completed repairs quickly and cleanly. Thank you!
I wanted to say thank you for the prompt and great service in opening our tub/shower drain. The drain has never worked this well since we moved in almost 12 years ago. Your technician also made it easier for any future clean out need to be done. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We are so glad our daughter referred us to you. We would highly recommend you to anyone needing plumbing work done. Have a great week, stay healthy and safe.
So happy that I decided to call Viking to help with a non-draining bathroom sink (upon the recommendation of a friend that has had consistently positive experiences)! They were extremely communicative, friendly, trustworthy, and professional from the time I made the appt through completion! The issue was resolved in a timely manner for a fair price. I really couldn't be more pleased that I now have a go-to plumbing service that I trust!
They also leave the place in great shape. They've rescued me many times.

I used them a few times. Last time was to replace a frozen ball valve. They charged me $736 to replace a ball valve which only takes 15 min. to do.
I do not recommend them.
Their quote was accurate, including an additional fee that the technician, Jess, advised me of when he was on-site and asked permission before moving forward on it. Jess was very polite and knowledgeable in general and solved our problem within an hour.
The only downside is that I requested they call me in advance so I could meet them and not keep someone waiting. Alas, their central office only called once he was on-site, so I had to keep him waiting about 15 minutes. If that's the worst thing I have to say about a contractor, that's good news!
Fast service and reliable. Just wish they were a little flexible on their minimum rate of one hour's work.
On time, excellent work, nice guy (Matt). This company cares about the work they do. They never leave a mess behind. And they do the job right the *first* time because they know what they're doing. This is the only plumber you will ever need. Thanks!
Used Viking for various jobs - install basement laundry tub with new faucet; install new kitchen faucet; shim & tighten wobbly toilet; install new faucet & riser ring for clawfoot tub; disconnect old sink & cut/cap water piping; snake slow drain; plug off old toilet drain; repair/rework drain; rework gas piping.
Reasonably priced. Estimates provided on request. Fast & efficient service. Shows up on time for appointments. Highly recommend!

They are on time, always reliable
I scheduled an appointment a month in advance for a kitchen install of plumbing. They forgot to book the appointment, and when I called the day before to confirm they were coming, the only thing they could offer me was a week away. That is not how a professional business is run.

We started using Viking plumbing a few years ago and have always had a good experience with them. They send out their plumbers in a timely manner, are always responsive (even when we leave voice mails at night) and have reasonable pricing for both parts and labor.

I just called this company to ask if someone could come out and look at some plumbing issues we are having with an older home that we just bought. The lady I talked to said that they couldn't come out to look at the plumbing and provide us with any kind of an estimate. They would just have to show up and do the work. What?!! You can't provide potential customers with an estimate to see if they can even afford the work? I've dealt with many other contractors in the past and this sounds shady to me. Sorry, I'm not asking you to come do the work without even having an idea of what you're going to charge for it! I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Excellent Company!!! I called for a broken faucet, pin had sheared off and knew I couldn’t fix it. Called and they had a plumber to my home in an hour, and had a new cartridge, changed over and out my faucet back on in less than an hour. Plumber super polite and nice. A+++++++++ Thank you SO much.
Taagen squeezed us in their schedule today when our 17 year old hot water tank went out last night. It's Friday so we were so appreciative that this could get taken care of before the weekend. Chris, Dave and Julian were here right at 1pm just as Peg stated they would be. By 3pm we had hot water again and better water pressure in our upstairs bathroom sink since they discovered a clog which sometimes happens when the tank gets changed out. So a HUGE thanks to Taagen - now named Viking Plumbing - for being so efficient, professional and just super nice to deal with today!
Had Viking come out and fix a small gas leak on my water heater. Bill arrived right on time, and fixed the problem quickly. He was very pleasant and knowledgable. Would recommend!
We have never had a bad experience with Viking. Good plumbers!
Great company to work with. I have been using them for my plumbing for years. Both commercial and residential.

Very happy with this contractor! Called to schedule hoping for a same day appointment due to a plumbing leak the night before. While they couldn't guarantee it, they expressed that they would really try for the end of the day. They called an hour later to say they had a cancellation and would be over shortly. The plumber that showed up was very nice and had all the tools/parts with him (I am on the 6th floor). He was able to fix it within a reasonable amount of time and made sure that was completely fixed (not so with another plumbing company in the past). We really couldn't have been happier and will use for all of our plumbing needs!

Viking Plumbing recently replaced a U joint in our sewer lateral line and did an outstanding job! Dug a hole 5 feet deep in our basement, replaced the joint, cleared the line and cemented the opening in a day and half . . .on time and done right! I highly recommend them!!
Used them once and was pleased but when made an appointment recently (10 days out) we didn't see anyone in our arrival window. When I called they said they couldn't' find me in their system and was not particularly nice about it

Very pleased with Viking Plumbing despite the name. Super professional and was able to schedule the repair quickly.
My kitchen sink wasn’t draining from either side and they were able to quickly come in and fix that. I’d do it myself but I don’t have the tools.
It took them maybe 30 minutes to do the whole job. Really happy with the service. If I’m in need again they are my first call without question.

Our shower was backed up during one of the coldest days of winter. We were told we might not be able to get someone out in a reasonable time because frozen pipes were the priority. Over the phone, Kevin was willing to talk me through how I could do a simple fix myself. Never actually had the service completed through Viking, but the time and attention was much appreciated!
DO NOT USE!
My previous interactions with Viking were all undone by my most recent transaction with them. I was quoted $618 by one of their plumbers for the installation of a utility sink. I thought the price was a good one and I chose not to seek out any other bids.
Imagine my surprise when I received a bill in the mail for $1,100! When I called Viking to question the nearly double invoice, I was told that $618 wasn't their price and I must be mistaken. I reminded them that I didn't ask for a quote when I called to schedule nor when I was contacted to confirm the double-sink, because I already was quoted a price. There was no response other than $618 isn't their price.
I could understand if things took a bit longer than expected and the price crept up to the $700, even $800 mark because of that, but the near 100% increase from what I was told by a member of their staff that the organization declined to stand behind ensures that I will never use them again, and I would encourage you to do the same.
When I told Kevin that I wouldn't use them anymore he didn't have anything to say but that I should write a note when I send in the payment. Consider this my note.
Looking for a good, reliable Plumber? Your search is over! You cannot go wrong with Viking! Now stop your search and pick up the phone--Viking is the BEST, Hands Down!
Could not perform the work I required.

My basement started flooding in late afternoon on Feb 3rd. I googled plumbers:. I called 3 plumbers who had no availability for an emergency call. Finally, I called Viking. They were at my house within 30 minutes. and unclogged a nasty sewer line. The gentlemen that arrived were really nice and helpful. VIKING should be your first call!!. It will be mine from now on.

Fantastic service! Viking fixed what two other plumbing companies weren't able to, in our sewer drain. VERY happy with the work, affordable pricing and really nice people! Plus, they cleaned up afterward too! Thanks Viking!

After using this firm for over 20 years, I was astounded to be treated rudely and then hung up on this morning by the owner, Bob. I would not recommend working with this company.

Just had a terrible interaction with Kevin. We do not agree on an invoice and the work completed. In trying to explain my position He just kept interrupting me. This was just awful customer service, ensuring that I am no longer a customer.
I urge anybody reading this to also give your business elsewhere. There are many plumbers in Milwaukee that are eager for business. Clearly Viking has more customers than they need.
4.25.19 In Kevin's reply he is not accurately conveying the details. They did not do the job correctly and they are blaming me for their mistake. I am not a plumber or I would not have called one. I told them that I had researched potential problems and what my research turned up. They did not actually assess the issue themselves so they did not actually fix the problem. Further more for all I know when they did pick up the toilet, they may have dropped it and cracked it. At this point I have no reason to trust or encourage anybody to trust Viking plumbing.
To be clear cost is not the issue. I will say that price I paid for the initial repair was fair. I am arguing getting charged for the second visit. The second visit was a direct result of Viking's wrongful assessment. In the second visit literally nothing was done. The employee removed the broken toilet, which again he may have broken. How do I know, he closed the door while he was working. For less than an hour of having a stranger standing in my bathroom I received a bill. That is what I am arguing.
Here is the best part. The same day as I received the unfair bill, I had purchased a new toilet. I had called Viking the night before to schedule the install but they were closed already. The next day I opened the bill, and here we are! This takes me back to my previous statement. They have too many customers, and don't need anymore.
I prefer working with people with integrity. I prefer working with people that own, not only their triumphs, but also their mistakes. In our conversation Kevin never said once that he was sorry that the issue was not fixed right the first time. He went into blaming me for their wrongful assessment and improper fix. He never once apologized for actually making the leak worse and having leaks in my basement and disintegrated ceiling tiles that were directly related to not fixing the problem right the first time.
It is OK to be mistaken. Be a man Kevin and own your mistake.
I will publicly apologize to you Kevin for sharing that I searched toilet leaks and I found that I may have needed a new wax ring. You taught me that I should never confuse an expert with research. Clearly all the years of education and training it takes to become a plumber can easily get clouded by an internet search. Thank goodness doctors, lawyers, mechanics, electricians, IT professionals, nurses, carpenters, accountants, educators, chefs, other plumbers, and every professional I can think of hold themselves and their expertise to higher bar than Viking plumbing!
You should change your slogan to Viking Plumbing We'll run head first into a wall if you tell us you saw a plumber do it on the internet

Once again, Viking came to our rescue. We needed a dishwasher replaced, as a kitchen floor was being tiled. The dishwasher, a Bosch , was not compatible with the old plumbing or the fixed space where the old washer(and most new brands) would fit. The experienced plumber, from Viking , was able to accommodate the installation. The company, also, was able to adjust their busy scheduling, to complete the work to meet the tiler's work schedule as well. They have workers ,with years of experience , dealing with older homes.
Viking is our go-to plumbing service. They replumbed our water service and did a great job. They were communicative, safe, clean, COVID-aware and completed a big job in a day per their schedule and price. Their price seemed fair and worth it for the professionalism and reliability.
A few nights after moving into our home, we noticed a leak from our water heater. After fixing a minor gas leak prior to move-in, Viking Plumbing again took away our headache and did a great job replacing our water heater with a new and reliable one! This was a seamless process for us as it was done in a reasonable and timely manner. In addition to their great work, they are very personable and friendly people to work with. We couldn’t be happier with these experiences, and will only call them for our plumbing needs!
