The Pipe Doctor

The Pipe Doctor (Tricia) does EXCELLENT work. She is responsive, provides clear and thorough recommendations, and is reasonably priced. I had a 100 year old sewer line with multiple downspout tie-ins that needed extensive sewer line repair through the entire line. After receiving multiple bids, including from sewer inspection companies I previously used, Tricia’s scope of work was significantly more thorough and she spent the time to inspect the entire line before providing recommendations. Other bidders either did not inspect the line, suggested short term repairs, or recommended closing off downspouts which would have caused me new problems. Tricia replaced the entire line, and her pricing was the same for a sewer line replacement vs, other contractors providing only short term repairs. The work was done quickly and I was happy with the results. I will use her again.

Amazing drainage repair services! Our storm drain in our driveway was totally clogged and there was no drainage every time it rained. They came out and identified the drainage problem immediately and repaired the drain same day. After hydro jetting they discovered holes in the pipe and more drain clogs. It turned into a two day job because the cast iron pipe was completely impacted and rusted out. They cut the concrete, dug out a new channel and installed about 30 ft of pipe that led to a pop up drain. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards, which most contractors don’t bother with. Super knowledgeable, professional, affordable and skilled team. Highly recommend and will hire again if needed.

I called The Pipe Doctor to scope a blocked sewer. Trisha came out the same day to evaluate the problem. I was hoping it would only require hydrojetting, but discovered that the sewer was so degraded that it needed to be replaced immediately. The next day, their crew started the replacement. They did the pipe bursting and installed a new lining that same week.

Trisha was great to work with, and her team was thorough and professional. They completed the job to my complete satisfaction.

Our sewer main line backed up last Friday at 5pm. Trisha and Josh were kind enough to come out that evening to help solve the issue. Unfortunately, the 70 year old concrete line had collapsed in on itself. They scoped it and showed me the damage and were able to locate exactly where the break was. They showed up first thing the next morning (Saturday) and replaced the broken section of pipe in just a few hours. I highly recommend The Pipe Doctors!

Our sewer line was clogged, I called the company at noon, and they showed up in an hour to clean the pipe. They are very professional. And more importantly, they were honest and trustable. They charged me a very reasonable price for the service. Highly recommended!

We smelled sewer under our deck and called her immediately. She was able to work us into they're busy schedule starting the day after we called. She was very responsive even answering my calls with questions off hours. She diagnosed my issue in a timely manner and was very professional and up front about the issue and how much it would cost to repair the damage. Having a sewer leak at your house can be a bit scary and yet at no time was I concerned after talking to Trisha that this issue would not be resolved. They finished when they said they would and put everything back as before so it looked as if they had not even been there. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience we had with Trisha and her team and would highly recommend them to anyone.

It was such a relief to have Trisha and Josh take care of our sewer blockage. Other companies had come out and temporarily cleared out the line, but Trisha took the time to fully research the issue and they were able to completely fix the actual problem. I appreciate their honesty and diligence.

I have researched many, many plumbers in the area and received multiple quotations but The Pipe Doctor is far better than the rest. And even though it was an emergency, the issue was dealt with efficiently. They are on time with their work and they got good work etiquette, they are very polite and the quality? It's superb! Our sewer line backed up about a month after moving into our 100 year old house. The pipe doctors were able to come and help us repair it in only a few days. With some coaching from the pipe doctors, I was ultimately able to save quite a bit of money on the job by doing the digging and sewer snaking myself and leaving the pipe-fitting to the professionals.

At precisely 5:30pm on a Friday night, I went down into my basement to fetch a roll of paper towels only to find that my sewer had backed up all over the floor. Perfect timing, as always. Trisha was out here the next day, in spite of the short notice, and was professional and helpful beyond the call of duty. After clearing the blockage, I decided to have her line my side sewer. She was prompt and dedicated throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Trisha!

I contacted them suspecting I had a severe water line leak, and they responded almost immediately and came out same day. Turns out it was a leaky hose bibb; they diagnosed it for free, and not only that, explained to me very clearly how I could most likely do the job myself. ALL AT NO CHARGE. I was able to do so---but I would call them again in an instant. I've found my new plumber. Trisha and Josh are simply fantastic.

Trisha and team were great! They installed a drainage system from my gutters and I can’t say enough about how professional, personable and fast (but precise) on their work. They know what they’re doing and they’re great at it. I highly recommend.

I am so happy with the work Trisha and Josh did to fix my fully clogged sewer line during the COVID-19 crisis. If I could do it all again, the only thing I would have done differently is called them sooner! They:

1. Were super responsive. Every time I called, they either dropped what they were doing to take my call, or called me back ASAP.

2. Were punctual and reliable. They had to come twice and both times arrived when they said they would and called and gave me a heads up when they said they would. I got the impression they went out of their way to help me as quickly as possible.

3. Kept costs to a minimum and gave me all my options with accurate price estimates, even after my problem turned out to be much messier and more complicated than expected. I live in a very old house with very old pipes and as my problem turned out to be pretty extreme, they could have gouged me on the price… but they didn't!

4. Actually seemed to care about helping ME as a person. They were super busy working overtime, but between their first visit and their second, they kept in close contact and never forgot the details of my situation, and even followed up after everything was finished and they had already been paid, just to make sure everything was flowing smoothly and I didn't have any remaining questions or concerns.

5. Very professional. They've been doing this for a very long time, they know what they're talking about, and they're good at what they do. I wish everyone were like this!

I could go on and on — they're among the best contractors I've dealt with and I've dealt with quite a few. My advice to anyone reading this is: if you're stressing out about a sewer line problem or possible sewer line problem, don't try to fix it yourself and don't wait, just call Trisha and Josh. At the very least, call them about your problem and see what they say, they're really easy to talk to. The tools and skills they have made it very clear in the end that all the DIY attempts I made to fix the problem myself were completely futile and in some cases counter-productive.

Bottom line: 10/10, would use them again!

Absolutely awesome plumber that went above and beyond. Josh and his wife Trish were probably the most knowledgable and friendly plumbers my fiancé and I have met and talked to.

Our bathroom drain line clogged up and we couldn’t use the shower and toilet more than once a day without it backing up. They ran a camera in to see what was wrong, used a hydro jet to clear the found clogs, and clean out the corner of our piping to prevent future clogs. They also provided us a video of the piping so we could see what they did.

They were the most affordable plumber out of the 3 bids I received and even if they were the most expensive bid we still would’ve chosen him based on their knowledge.

In the past we went with roto rooter and they actually made our problem worse. The pipe doctor explained and fixed what they did wrong, and now we will ALWAYS call the. Thank you!!

Fantastic Plumber’s, I had a main line clog that had my whole house backed up, Trish and Josh Came out same day a few hours after my call, worked around my schedule, and were very Professional and friendly. I would highly recommended them!

When our sewer backed up into the basement they came right away, found the problem, dug down to the blockage that couldn't be moved, removed the huge tree roots from the pipe and then lined it. The entire crew were friendly and professional. I will definitely call them again if I ever need to.

The Pipe Doctors Josh and Trisha are probably the most honest and good natured plumbers out there. it’s there straight forward honesty combined with many years of pluming experience that make them the ideal resource for any plumbing challenge. They first helped me out with a natural gas leak in my basement, then from there they helped me with a slow draining bathtub, then a sewer problem, and finally an upstairs shower that was leaking to the floor below. In Seattle, with all the recent growth, it becomes difficult as a home owner, to find skilled tradesman that possess the technical knowledge while at the same time maintains honesty and integrity. Great experience. Had a clog and a leak--resolved fast and inexpensively. The Pipe Doctor (a nice couple in our area) went above and beyond in cleaning out, explaining, and maintaining various aspects of a complicated system that had built up over multiple additions and years of changes at our house before we got it. Took a Friday off for them to come do a job, didn’t show up, then a Saturday, still no show. Can’t review their work since they never performed any. Ended up hiring someone else. When they (husband & wife) came out initially earlier in the week, seemed nice, didn’t have a flashlight, what’s with all these contractors not having flashlights? Oh well, Seattle is a busy city, once the next recession hits, there will be contractors begging for work like in 2009.

Edit 2020: Daniel Wayne Cleveland ring a bell? One of your family members apparently bud-lighted himself right into a river and drowned, I had to take a Friday and Saturday off, which I’ll never get back.
