Fischer Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

To start, I received two quotes from plumbing companies to replace an electric hot water heater. Fischer’s quote was 1/3 of the competing company. The other company visited our condo and then proceeded to explain how difficult it would be to replace and when I told them they were way more expensive, they just said that the work justified the higher price. Same brand of hot water heater, so that wasn’t a factor in the higher pricing. Fischer said no problem. We were originally scheduled for a later date, but said they called a few weeks prior and had a technician in the area that could do it that day. The technician they sent, Mike T. (And an assistant), were professional, thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly. They draped our flooring for protection, and also wore foot coverings. They quickly and efficiently removed the old water heater and installed the new one, and explained its operation. When I got the bill, it came in even a little less than the quote. I would definitely recommend Fischer Plumbing to others.

I ordered a new water heater through Fischer and they did a great job of figuring out my custom and ‘challenging ‘ existing plumbing and making sure I was taken care of and everything ran smoothly!

Travis came out to check on my water pressure and assessed it throughout my townhouse. Let me know all was in normal range. He identified corroded galvanized pipe joints as part of my water heater piping. I had him replace them and once he had removed them he showed me how badly clogged the galvanized sections were. Was very grateful to get them replaced with better brass connections instead. I appreciated his quick service and his being on time.

Received explanation of cause contributing to break in plumbing in crawl space. Completed repair with solid and effective replacement pieces. Kudos to Crawl Pros for identifying and reporting the issue. Excellent service experience with Travis w/Fischer Plumbing.

The Repipe team was excellent! The attitude of concern, safety and efficiency was something all contractors should aspire. I would recommend Josh and his team to any complex.

Repiped condo with competence, caring and respect. Accommodated special needs. Patient and answered questions, kept us informed of progress. They were a great team.

They completed about 20 minutes of work and charged for an hour. Completely overcharged for the work that was done. The worst customer service from a manager I have ever encountered. He said I was demeaning for asking why I was charged so much for the work that was done. Will never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Highly suggest you go elsewhere.

I was driving on the I-5 and one of the workers driving in a large cube van decided that he would put on his highbeams and then switch lanes and keep his highbeams in my rearview mirror. What a terrible driver driving aggressively. Unprofessional to the max!

Fischer Plumbing has done numerous projects at my home, most recently an outside waterline repair. They were very efficient and when the job was complete I could not even tell they had been there.

Carl did a great job. He was personable, professional and completed the work in short time.

Travis was excellent as a plumber abd a person. We shared pictures of our cats.

I had a water leak in my kitchen cabinet and called Fischer. They never showed up for the appointment the following week,
and didn’t bother to call… Said sorry, a bigger job had come in and things had gotten confusing.

I hired someone else to remove the cabinet and replace it. When I needed someone to repair the drywall under the sink, I called them again. They sent me an estimate, and said they would fit me in sometime in the following month. I took them at their word and waited.
I called three times the next month and no one bothered to returned my calls.

They are not reliable.
This is not professional behavior…
I would never call them again.

Over charged me ! 5.25 hours !I even helped him! the guy just plugged in 4 of his power tools to charge and not even asked me first! Stoled my electricity! Just wore his boots walking in and out! New Faucet leaks in use! Just insane! Ripoff company More to post here ! I haven’t heard back from this company! What a shame they are!

Poor service, didn't finish job properly, didn't return call after complaints to service department.

Had a tech come out to investigate a slow drain. Got drain snake stuck which made my system unusable and left. They gave me a hefty quote to further investigate with no guarantees. I was told that I was lucky to not get charged the cost of the snake line that they broke. I ended up calling Fox Plumbing and they were real solution providers and my problem was fixed in half the cost of the investigation quote. I would suggest others do the same.

Responsive, thorough, and reasonable pricing - we had a drainage issue and fischer was able to come out same day. Kirsten was extremely helpful coordinating and the plumber they sent (Jon) was efficient and thorough. He walked us through what the issue was, how it happened, and how long it each step was going to take. For sure going to be our regular plumber. Thank you!!!!

John, the technician was right on time and explained everything clearly after using the scope to determine that the sewer line was collapsed just outside the house I bought. Then Don, who does the estimates, came out and explained the situation in detail, including the various treatment options that exist for repairing damaged common sewer lines. He was very clear and helpful. I would highly recommend Fischer Plumbing.

This company is exceptional for its quality of work and professionalism by its employees. They don't take advantage of customers who are in need of emergency services.

We had to get a new water heater, and it was so easy to schedule an appointment. The technician, Barry, was so nice, went over the quote (which was a great price), and replaced our new water heater in 2 hours. Great customer service, I would highly recommend.

We have found Fischer Plumbing, Heating & Air to be consistently competent and honest. All the technicians have been very easy to work with. We could wish for instant service, but that's unrealistic. They were able to come out first thing in the morning to replace our failed hot water tank. The crew was friendly and efficient and cleaned up when they were done.

Work was done quickly and everything looks good, but the initial estimate for work was significantly lower than the final bill. No explanation for this variation was offered by anyone. I would recommend being cautious and getting a second opinion when considering having work done by them, if it isn't an emergency. Be careful.

Had Fischer plumbing out to look at a leak... The plumber was here for 15 mins, said we needed a replumb and someone would be in contact from the other division. Paid $250 for that visit and never heard from them again...

Wow terrible. $100 flat rate just to LOOK, then $200/ hour ! also... Don’t use them for any emergency... Booked out for the next 8 days solid, till next week Tuesday.

Despite the initial difficulty scheduling for an appointment, the guys who came over and did the work were very professional and helpful.

Watched one of their guys get on the freeway and use the hov to avoid the light/line with only 1 person in the truck. If their guys are willing to cheat on something like that what else would they do?

Worst ever. Expensive, rude, you name it. They charge by hours so even a small job could just drag and costly!

Outstanding Service!! David arrived on time and quickly solved the problem by removing the screw that was wedged in the disposal. He also showed me how to disengage the disposal.

Single women looking for somebody to do a job in my house had Fisher Plumbing in my house twice and they did an excellent job both times so yes I could trust them

I am a commercial customer. I have some broken drains needing repair and a suspicious sewer in my parking garage. I called and asked them youto come do an estimate on the roof drain, and take a look at the sewer and tell me if it was functioning properly.

Not only was the first person they sent rude and had no interest in listening to me explain why he was there, he proceeded to grab gear and head to the sewer.

I had some stuff to do in the vicinity so I let him fumble about. He goes over, looks at it for 5 minutes, says it could use a 45 but the water level is correct and he doesn't need to do anything else.

I said that's good, but what about the estimate? Confused, he then became interested in what I had to say. Longer story short, somebody else needed to come out(the person they should've sent first) he did, looked with his eyes at the issues I wanted addressed, did what he needed, and left.
Ok, straightened out in the long run? I got the estimate. It was fair and less than a previous. But then I got the bill. The first Yahoo charged me for a service call and labor.

I intend to take this up with the company. Will update.

They are most definitely not available 24/7 for emergency service!! Called Tuesday and the soonest they could come was on Friday to repair two leaking sinks...

I had a pretty serious back up in my bathroom sink. The pipes were clogged and sludge was oozing from the sink and would not drain. Chris from Fischer Plumbing came out within a day of calling for the service and did a fantastic job. After 20 minutes of work the pipes had been cleared out. Water drains as it should and the terrible sludge smell is now gone. Thanks Fischer and thank you Chris for such efficient great work!

Was rude to my wife. They charged $180.00 for a half hour of minimal work.

Don't use fisher plumbing, if you want to get ripoff go ahead and use them. I had a water leak in my water tank, I called them on saturday , he came for 10 minutes, he said he changed a valve, guess how much my Bill? 350 dollars for 10 minutes . they charge me for 2 dollars piece 70 and 280 for 10 minutes.
I can proof a receipt please contact me .
Again dont use them , check google places for some honest people.

10 years ago, we hired Fischer based on their positive reviews and availability for same day services. It ended that we (our neighbors and our family) needed to replace our old sewage line from our property lines into the street. We were charged $6,000.00 for a clean out that was never marked, buried (which they claimed they HAD to - which in talking to other companies may not be true), nor did they provide us with documentation of location - which would have saved us a lot of time and money had we had this information! Fast-forward 10 years, we have to spend another $6,000. 00 to repair THE CLEAN-OUT that was incorrectly installed, unmarked, and now is overgrown by roots, in addition to a gas line that was damaged due to the search of the clean-out. When contacted, Fischer reported that they are required by law to shred all paperwork in 5 years (as a healthcare professional, I highly doubt this is the truth). Not only was Fischer not helpful trying to locate our old files, but now I know that their work is shoddy at best.

Steven showed up on time to the minute and was done snaking my drain in 30 minutes! Perfect service!

Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable regarding plumbing problem.

Bad attitude. Ridiculous pricing. Avoid at all costs.
