Tech was scheduled for this morning to give me an estimate for a water heater install. The estimate was comparable to another company I had contacted. Much to my surprise, he asked if I would like it installed today. Yes! The entire job was done in less than 2 hrs. Very professional and careful too. Thank you Devin! Best Plumbing is awesome!

The hot water tank in a rental house I own burst and flooded the laundry room next to my tenant’s bedroom on a Sunday evening! I called Best Plumbing and a plumber called me within a half hour, setting up an appointment for the very next day. The house had a new water heater by Monday afternoon. It was great!

We had a severely clogged bathroom drain. Called Rotorooter first and they were unable to fix the problem. Called Best the next day. Plumber Willie Winston showed up at our front door within 15 minutes of the call. After explaining the situation to him, he confidently told me that he would have my drain cleared in 15 minutes. Well he was wrong. He cleared it in 5! He then fixed a leaky drain pipe for me that had been incorrectly repaired by a previous plumber. Will was the best and we will definitely be calling Best Plumbing the next time we have need for a professional plumber. Thank you Best Plumbing 👍🏽

Company was very easy to work with. Received an email on the tech going out. Brandin called when he assessed the issue and told me how much it was going to be. He worked with my tenants and got the drain cleared quickly.
He then called for a credit card.
All of this was done in 2-hours, really appreciate the efficiency of Best Plumbing.

I ma very frustrated we had them actively working on my house replacing my water line and they send someone else out to replace my hose bib only to charge me $100 to say they can't do it. They literally have had multiple people in my home for quoting and actively working at my house and they charge me $100 to walk away. Very unprofessional. They have done lots of other work for me in the past and were always super wonderful in the past.

Travis and Edgar of Best Plumbing are nice guys, and they did a fine job installing my new water heater. We're very pleased with their work.

We've used them for years, but unfortunately Best Plumbing seems to have deteriorated recently. Our most recent jobs had problems with quality of work and our last job also appeared to be badly overcharged given the apparent labor time required for the work. Surprisingly, Best Plumbing customer service refused to explain their billing when we contacted them about possible overcharging given the actual work required. Sadly, this means that after many years of using Best Plumbing, we won't be using Best Plumbing again and will have to find a different plumber to rely on.

I had a very disappointing experience with Best Plumbing. I am extremely confounded by their billing system, poor communication, and total lack of transparency. I hired them for a shower faucet repair. After the fix, I received a bill (no itemization or explanation and no upfront estimate) paid $630 for it which I found very frustrating, especially since the repair was non-sensical (the functioning of the handle did not correspond to the base plate, the range of tolerable water temp was about a centimeter, making it hard to shower without scorching oneself or getting icy water, they left a screw out). The faucet failed within the month so I called for a redo. The person on the phone said it was under warranty but wouldn't give me an estimate since they said it would depend on how long it took the technician. The technician returned and serviced it a second time. This time I purchased my own hardware to save on some of the charge. When he came back, he was there for most of day with multiple trips to and from Best for supplies. By the end of the day, only the shower faucet was replaced and not the shower head. At that point, I said to skip it since I was stressed by how much time he was taking. Then I received a bill for $1600. Again, no itemization, no supply costs, no hours, no rate, no note that anything was under warranty and applied to this second bill. When I spoke to someone about needing more detail on the bill, they told me that charge wasn't based on hours... that it was basically a flat rate for a type of job, and that I could have had an estimate at any time. This was completely counter to what I was told over the phone and by the technician. I think the only thing the initial $630 I paid went toward was to cover a service call fee that would have been added if the second fix was the first visit. (Also, if the actual needed repair had taken place at the first visit, I wouldn't have been out the whole initial payment). I also ended up calling in a second time once I requested and received a slightly itemized invoice. The invoice said complete replacement of tub and shower faucet for $1300. When I called back to say that it was only a shower faucet, and not a tub, and that the shower head wasn't changed out, and should the rate be adjusted since that whole job on the invoice would've taken twice as long, they said no, the total on the invoice was just what it cost. ??? So now I have a functioning but mismatched shower faucet for $630 + $1600 + $200 on hardware I purchased myself.

This is dumbly tedious to report when I could just summarize that I will never work with Best Plumbing again because of the lack of transparency and communication when it comes to their billing practices. It feels very much like they can put any amount on an invoice after the job is done and you are at the mercy of the technician. The people I spoke to and the technician were polite, I just don't trust that they have a consistent, communicable way of billing for work which leaves one with the feeling of being taken advantage of.

If you decide to work with Best, make sure to receive an estimate up front with some clarity about how they plan to charge you. Good luck getting that info from them. I don't think it is possible.

They were 2 hours late, and wrecked the tile in my tub!!! It’s bent up and burnt!

I needed to have a clogged sink cleared in my condo while I was out of state and was anxious about coordinating service. The appointment schedulers were very pleasant and helpful during multiple callbacks as I arranged a family friend to meet the plumber onsite and navigate the locked building entrance. Their patience and calm manner was much appreciated!

Travis, the plumber from Best Plumbing was great. He was professional, through and patient. I needed help finding a leak from a washer/dryer. He spent time to isolate each area of possible leak. Once found he offered a solution and done. Didn’t try to upswell, or over inflate the problem. I will definitely use them again.

Our kitchen sinks were clogged. We tried plunging, boiling water, and baking soda and vinegar. The clog was deep. Josh was great. Personable and professional. Our old house has old pipes with right angles and rusty connections. The fix required some determination! We appreciated the good service. Thank you, Josh!

We had 2 large pieces from a trough style drain that had been knocked down our master shower drain pipe hole by our house cleaner. We spent an hour trying to see if we could figure out how to fish it out, but couldn’t even locate where the pieces were. Our Best Plumbing tech was able to easily push the pieces out of the pipe and clear up the blockage…in literally 5 min!

I don’t think I could have had a better experience despite needing a new garbage disposal. Kurt was not only early but also very friendly and professional. I appreciated how fast we had our disposal fixed. I’d highly recommend Best Plumbing.

Plumbing tech Steven Fritz was fantastic. Although I did some legwork with preparation and drywall water damage mitigation, that helped him with being able to access and see the source of the leakage more quickly. And, his analysis of the pressure-assist toilet on the top floor of our house was spot on. He did a full “pull and reset” including changing the backside neoprene gasket quickly and his checks were thorough and his cleanup was great. He well explained his analysis and process to repair the issue and he did it in a really efficient manner. Fritz is a true pro. Best Plumbing, thank you for sending him to fix our issue! They are great! They always manage to fit us in. The plumbers are always very professional and super nice!

We thought we had a burst or cracked pipe during the recent freeze and called the emergency number. Left our information with the woman who answered. Technician phone back shortly after saying we were fourth in line, wasn't sure if they'd be able to get to us that night. No problem; we had the water shut off and things were under control.

We didn't hear from them at all that night, or the next day. On the third day we called them to cancel, and they said we weren't on their list. No wonder we never heard from them. They just ... lost our information?

I might try them for something scheduled, but I won't bother with them for anything urgent again.

I was charged an extraordinarily high fee (almost $1700 after tax) for a little more than one hour attempt to Hydro jet a storm line clear. To charge that much money for a failed repair “attempt“ without even providing a clearer understanding of the problem at the end feels opportunistic and predatory. The technician seemed like a capable and sincere enough guy, but his company’s fee structures are outrageously high. I would’ve spent more time learning about the industry if I thought there was even a chance that I could spend that much money without any change whatsoever to my issue. Make sure you fully understand what you’re consenting to if you engage this company.

I am changing this from 5 stars to 1. I had a terrible experience with this company. They insisted on me paying $100 for a quote, i had heard good things and so i went with it as it is for a whole house filter installation. Everyone was nice and courteous. The guy came over the for the quote. He quoted $1600 with tax and I thought this was high, but he told me it would take all day.

I figured, ok, $200 an hour, there are minimal supplies required, still sounds high, but I figured they were polite and friendly. So I paid the $100 visit fee and was prepared to pay the other $1600. I received a call from the schedular who indicated the day they could come and said they would take a 1/2 day! What? I told her I only agreed to the price due to it taking a full day. She said it didn't matter, since they don't charge by the hour. LOL, ok. But in my mind it's now $400 an hour! I asked her to have the gentleman call me back who came over and she said she would.

Next day I got a voicemail indicating that she had spoken to him and he told her to tell me that the price is the price and if I didn't like it go somewhere else. So I did, for about 1/2 the price.

A completely dissatisfying experience. If you want to be overcharged by a very friendly company- Best Plumbing is the way to go!

Great experience! They sent someone right away, (which anyone whose tried to schedule recently knows there's usually a wait time. Plumbers are BUSY people.) He was very prompt and super nice to talk with, even discussing a second issue on the property while patiently letting the tenant finish getting ready for work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We called Best to help us out of a really tight spot. We had a very short turn around time to complete a tub and shower faucet replacement just before closing on the sale of our home. We received a very timely visit and estimate from Steven Fritz, one of Best's fantastic service and install team. Steven was super helpful explaining what would be required and provided us with excellent communications all through the process up to and including personally doing the install for us. We had a problem getting our realtor to show up on time to let Steven in on the day of the install and he went WAY out of his way to help us make sure the work was done. We would have been in a real jam if Steven hadn't been so great to help make sure we were take care of.The work quality was top notch and performed in such a professional manner. We would recommend Steven VERY, VERY highly and also all the rest of the wonderful Best Team - from the showroom with Sarah who helped us pick out and expedite the delivery of the new faucet in time to the different service dispatchers who went way over and above what is normally expected to help us get this challenging job completed on time. They came in min-January to unclog a shower drain. After about an hour of trying they were unable to unclog the drain - not their fault it was a bad clog - had to leave for another job but said they would get me a quote to replace the part of the pipe where the clog was. Never got back to me. I hounded them for a quote (2-3 calls from me). Their quote was about 3x the price I ended up getting the pipe cut out and replaced for. When the pipe was fixed and the dirty water that the Best plumber guy originally left in the shower drained out I saw a ton of damage that his machine did to our tub enamel (which had been fully redone in the summer so I know the damage was not there before). Since the end of January I have been trying to get a hold of Best plumbing to ask about getting the damage resolved and have only gotten a your case is being reviewed email from their service team and no phone calls back. I have left multiple voicemails and sent emails.
Their prices were sky high. They left damage at my house, and now they're ignoring me. Would not recommend.

We had an excellent experience with Best Plumbing. We had a massive leak on our hot water tank on Saturday afternoon, we had to find a plumber who can come to install a new tank on the same day. We the other businesses didn't answer to my call, or didn't have available plumber for the same day appointment, but Best Plumbing sent us a plumber within 1 hour after I called them. Travis O., the Technician was beyond awesome. Although he was already very busy taking care of other appointments, he said he can come back in the evening after the other appointments to take care of our need, and he came back to our house as promised, took care of everything VERY quickly. Thanks to him, we were able to take a shower on that night! Also, he was very efficient, polite, and professional all the time. We have a barking dog and a chatty 4 years old boy, he was very patient, kind and friendly to them as well. He is the best ever Plumber we ever had! I also want to thank the receptionist who assisted me. Her name is Irie. She was very friendly and helpful. I could tell she was sincerely trying to help us with the issue we had and arranged to send us the great technician!! Thank you so much!

I did not have an issue with the Best Plumbing office staff and they were very pleasant to speak with. However the plumber Michael Barr that was sent out was very rude, condescending and argumentative. He even told me why can’t I have an American name more like Mike or Joe or to change it so people like him could understand. If it were not an emergency, I would have called someone else. In addition he told me one thing and told the insurance company something else causing a discrepancy which took a while to straighten out. If you are looking for someone rude and condescending I recommend him otherwise I would request Best Plumbing to send someone else out because I felt he was very unprofessional.

Brie knows her trade and quite determined to find the solution to the plumbing issue in a timely manner. She is friendly, respectful and very mindful of a dependable solution to the plumbing problem. In a short time that I know her I can tell that she is the kind of employee a business establishment should keep. More power to you Best Plumbing, you are really the best.

I got three quotes before going with Best Plumbing on a friend's recommendation. The other companies had told me that my sewer drain was in urgent need of expensive repairs. Best Plumbing did a simple hydrojet treatment and informed me that the line was actually in reasonably good shape, saving me thousands of dollars on unnecessary work.

Caleb was friendly, responsive, and was calm and collected when the job got more tricky than anticipated.

We started in May with a bathroom sink faucet that worked fine but that we thought might have a small leak. Five months later, after two visits from Best, we have a damaged, disassembled, nonfunctional faucet and a company that promises to follow up and never does. We stopped trying after the fifth attempt/failed promise that they would call us back, and our faucet is still broken.

The longer version: Best's plumber came out to look at a toilet that needed a flapper and two bathroom sinks with potential small leaks. When the parts arrived we scheduled repairs. The day before the appointment they had a COVID exposure and cancelled so employees could be tested. We completely appreciated their caution and rescheduled. The day of the rescheduled appointment the plumber felt sick and cancelled -- again, we appreciated and fully supported that caution. On the third attempt a plumber arrived, fixed the toilet and one faucet, but was unable to remove the cartridge he was trying to replace in the other faucet. He really tried, and got a heavy-duty wrench to keep trying, but ultimately said it couldn't come out and that we'd need to replace the bottom part of the faucet. (After the attempts, the existing faucet is now stripped to the point where it can't be reassembled anyway. So we started with a working faucet and now have a non-working one.) We told him to let us know what the part would cost so we could presumably approve the purchase and schedule the next visit, and asked when he would send an estimate. He said he would email it later that day or the next morning. We paid for the work on the other faucet and toilet ($420 plus the initial $98 visit) and waited for the estimate. When it never came, we called the office to check in, and they were mystified, saying our work was done and there was no notice of us needing anything more. We asked to get the estimate sent. A few days later we called again, they were again mystified and said there was nothing in the file. A few days later we did the same and were told they would email the plumber and supervisor. On the fourth call a few days later, we were told that the plumber had not been checking emails and so there was a backlog for him to get through, but that someone would call us back later that day (this did not happen.) On the fifth call, Sept. 3, we were told the same thing. When I mentioned we had already been told this five times, the reply was We can tell him to call you, but we can't *make* him call you. I was also asked to remember that parts take up to six months to arrive these days, and I said yes, that's why we want to find out how much the part costs and get it ordered. The person I was talking with says It says a part has been ordered. Me: What is the part? She could not tell me what the part was (I wonder if it was the previously ordered parts for the job that was already done? Who knows?) She also said that the plumber told them that he had given us a verbal estimate. I said he 100% absolutely did not give us a verbal estimate -- the whole point of sending an estimate was that I had zero idea how much this part might cost. She said someone would call us back later that day. Obviously, no one did, that day or any other day since. We get that these are crazy times and that they must be short-staffed and stressed and there are supply chain problems. We don't expect things to work as efficiently as they would in other years. But we also don't want a permanently broken-by-them bathroom faucet with no timeline for ever getting it fixed and (five weeks after our last call, currently) no response from them ever.

Steven Fritz was my plumber today and I’m so happy that we went through best plumbing. On time, very quick. He made sure he did everything he possibly could to get the job done (which got done), he was respectful, amazing attitude! He let me know what was going on during the process which I appreciated. And he was very sweet! Had a conversation with me about his little one because I’m expecting my own in July. So happy he was sent to help me today!!!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!

Rarely do I give a five star review all around, but in this case, for Best Plumbing I really must. From the very beginning, Travis helped me solve my problems, with bathroom faucets, sinks, and even a new counter top. He directed me to Lynn at the Best Plumbing showroom, and I got great advice, quick information and service, and a nice discount on the items I bought, as Best Plumbing would be installing them. I intend to return soon for a new bath tub, as soon as I get accustomed to my beautiful new sinks and counter. Travis got everything hooked up quickly and efficiently the day after the counter people finished. He was truly professional, and easy to have around. And when he left, he cleared away all the boxes and recycle debris, and left the place immaculate. We feel so secure having a Plumbing company we can count on. They are well named, Best Plumbing!

My sewer line was backed up and I was glad I called Best Plumbing. The dispatcher I spoke with was friendly, helpful, and kept me update on the status of arrival. Willie got out to my place quickly and was super friendly, quick, and did a great job. I was expecting the charge to be much higher for something so important, so was very happy with the overall experience. I’d definitely recommend them!

I had Norman and his assistant come by to replace a water heater that had leaked overnight. Called for a same day job and they arrived within the hour. Norman and his assistant were very easygoing, fun to talk to, and great to work with, and were able to get the old heater removed and replaced with a new one (despite the intense heatwave). Definitely would recommend!

Amazing service! I found a leak in my water heater this morning and called and pleaded for help. They sent Steve and Ben out this afternoon for an evaluation. They were able to replace my water heater shortly thereafter. I’m so pleasantly surprised that they were able to fix my problem the same day I found it. Steve and Ben were both very kind and easy to work with. They explained everything they needed to do, why they needed to do it, and they were upfront about the cost. I would 100% call them again if I need to!

HORRIBLE….simply HORRIBLE!!!. NEVER have I EVER been treated so disrespectfully by a service provider in my life. My offense? ……I simply asked a question. As a service professional, one should expect questions and feedback from their customers, after all, I’m not a plumber and it would be expected that I understand my options. But to address me in such an aggressive tone and YELL at me his response, as if I had no right to question him was shocking!. I was so stunned and could do nothing but walk away, allow him to finish, pay him and ask him to leave. Before he left I told him that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me and I would notify his office. Instead of apologizing for any misunderstanding, he grabbed the check and shouted back to me that he would just tell his office I was the problem and was on the phone before he left my driveway.

I wish I had seen Maria's review before I called this company- clearly my experienced mirrored her horrible experience two months ago, with the same service tech Will. When I called their office to report my experience, they shuffled me off to voicemail and no one returned by call. That tells me they don't care how their plumbers treat their customers.

Honestly, don't take the risk they will dispatch WILL to your residence. Do yourself a favor, call another company.

I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth. Storm drain was backing up and flooding my garage. I called Best Plumbing late in the afternoon and they were able to immediately schedule an appointment for the next day. Their technician was on time, resolved the problem fast, explained everything and provided helpful additional advice. I was happy to pay the reasonable price I was charged. Don’t wast your time shopping around to save a dollar or two. This is the professional company you can trust.

Worked with Steven twice, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Greatly appreciate his effort, and will be happy to work with Best Plumbing again in the future. Support staff is good, but make sure your contact information is up to date up front, since their system seems to work based on address.

Brandon replaced the outside hose bib. He was professional and Courteous. He explained all options very well. We’ll use Best Plumbing and Brandon again when the need arises.

Willie did a great job replacing my faucet

I called this company to come out to my place of work, and their customer service was top notch; absolutely professional and friendly! Cassandra was very nice to speak with, and they were able to send someone out within a couple of hours. Unfortunately we ended up cancelling on them last minute as we got the problem fixed, but they were incredibly kind and courteous. If I ever need a plumber or know anyone who does, I will definitely be recommending this place!

I bought a Instant Hot under the sink water tank and faucet from Best, Mountain Plumbing Little Gourmet hot water dispenser. When it started leaking from the faucet I called Best about it. The system had a 2 year warranty on it that was getting close to its end. Best's solution was to have the manufacturer send me a part and for me to fix it myself. I was reluctant, but finally did take on the task. When I put the part into the faucet and turned on the water the tank itself began leaking water. Now the warranty is expired, and even if it hadn't, who knows if I would not have somehow been blamed.

Great customer service! Responded quickly to our urgent plumbing need, working us into the schedule the same day! Zach was great at listening to our concerns and accurately describing the process. He did a thorough job making sure the problem was fixed before he left! Thank you!!

That was my initial impression. Now, the rest of the story:
They were recommended by the rental agency, Phillips Real Estate. In person, the guy seemd seemed fair and forthright. Explained the problem was because of faulty drain pipe several feet away from the drains, where the house drains drop into the outside drain. However, he wrote the invoice up, sited hair was found, (which technically was, but just a few strands and definitely was not the cause of the problem) and... did not mention the problem with the drain pipe.
This resulted in the agency adding the inflated bill to our rental ledger, siting the hair in the drain. I had to argue with the agency and crawl into the crawl space, take picture of the bad pipe and send it to the agency. The guy from Best Plumbing also took a picture, and showed it to me, but would not send it to me or the agency. When I called him, he was rude and dismissive.
Beware of using contractors that are recommended by the rental agency. They are not on you side. They only care about appeasing the property owners and the property owners rental management agencies.
In our experience, every time, with rental agencies and their so called maintenance crews and contractors are leveraging against both ends. They don't do the work, don't complete it, don't get it right, and if you as a tenant point it out, you get bullied and shut down and pushed out of the rental opportunity.

Best plumbing responded quickly, sent two fantastic plumbers, moved through the house with an understanding of protocols, identified the issue, set us up for the next step in the process, and were honest from moment one about the size and complexity of the issue at hand. After trying 4 other plumbers, all of whom had access to the problem identified today by Best, Steve and Steve told us what was wrong and how to fix it. I will never use another plumbing company after being LIED TO by Gene Johnson, Beacon and Raymark plumbing, all of whom did work that we paid for without actually diagnosing the problem at hand.

Very friendly service, fair price, and they squeezed me into a busy Friday before a holiday. Fixed everything right the first time. The plumber (Steve O) was great and a real gentleman. The dispatcher was fun, friendly and thorough, providing updates and options. They send a photo and text of the worker on their way and really focus on quality.

The service technician Anthony Heatd delivered the best and most professional plumbing/rooter service in our 25 years of owning our home. He quickly

Worst service ever. They quickly came to book the job, got paid upfront. And 2 months later a simple faucet install is not done. I got all kinds of excuses for not showing up on made appointments that were booked. Dave Jenkins of Best Plumbing was sent to my home to inspect my 76-year-old sewer system. Dave was amazing ... he patiently searched to find the right approach to insert/use his scope. He performed the scope analysis with me available to take notes. He explained what I could expect IF I held-off and experienced a sewer failure (with a basement bathroom & pump, it would not be pretty). He marked all key changes/areas where concreted needed to removed and where they needed to dig to execute the solution. Finally, he provided a detailed (and very reasonable) quote and explanation of costs while onsite. This was the most professional, patient and detailed home-service appointment I've experienced. As a result, Yes! I selected Best Plumbing for the job. Yes! I referred them to my next-door neighbor! And Yes! I would refer Best Plumbing to anyone who reads this review.

I had a very positive experience working with Best Plumbing. Everything was very professional and friendly, from the intake of my information to working with Steve our plumbing issues. I had a non-urgent plumbing issue in my home. I called best plumbing and literally the next morning someone was there to fix it - Steve & one other technician were dispatched to my home. They were both kind and respectful, they got the job done perfectly and quickly, and were even sure to clean up after themselves by wiping down my tub with cleaner. I don't have any point of reference on pricing, so can't comment if they are expensive or cheap, but I'm really happy with the quality of the job and I would go to them again anytime.

I am a property manager and I have worked with Best Plumbing quite a bit. There was a point that I was so frustrated I stopped working with them. An urgent situation just arose and I managed to speak directly with Kurt Volkle, the plumber. I give Kurt, 5+ stars!!! He was awesome. He did everything he said he would. I was waiting on a bid from him, he called to let me know he was on another job that would take quite a while and as soon as he was done he would get the bid to me. He even called me to let me know he hadn't forgotten about me. I think all of my frustration comes from the inside staff and not from the plumber. Kurt, thank you for raising the bar.

I called them, their technician Will stopped by, he was very annoyed by having to work, told me that everything is fine and he knows better, said “I don’t know what do you want from me”, and left.
If you need a free (I hope) insults delivered to your home, this is the business to call.

Water pressure dropped down in the kitchen and shower, water heater folks inspected everything and explained to me why this is not caused by the water heater. Bath drain also slowed down.
I called Best Plumbing, they scheduled an appointment, and their tech Will stopped by. He was in a bad mood. After I explained why I called them, he said “This is an old building, what do you want!” He checked the kitchen faucet, said “Everything is fine, you can replace the faucet”, and wanted to leave. I reminded him about the shower and drain, he opened water, said “This is normal water pressure in the city, compared to what I see. I don’t know how it was in OTHER APARTMENTS YOU LIVED BEFORE”. I repeated to him that the water pressure dropped in this shower, he said that there is nothing he can do, and was leaving. When he was just outside the door, he continued to say something. When I asked him to repeat, he said “I don’t know what you want! Do you want to increase water pressure? We can send someone to you”.
I call plumbers because I understand nothing about plumbing but I see that water slowed down, they arrive, tell me that that everything is fine, they know better because they saw much worse problems, they say they don’t understand why I called at all, and they leave.

This is my third experience with Best Plumbing and I must give you a rave review. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. Special appreciation to Zac, the plumber. He did a great job - neat, organized, efficient - replacing my garbage disposal plus he was kind to my dogs! Thank you.

Best Plumbing is already a preferred vendor for my downtown Seattle condominium tower. Steve Olson was dispatched to help me with a couple of plumbing issues in my unit. Steve was right on time very experienced and knew exactly what was needed. He quickly fixed everything and even had a nice pad laid out so as not to soil my floor. He is also has an all around great personality which means a lot!

This morning our water heater started leaking from the top, the sides, everywhere we must have discovered it minutes after it started. I called a couple plumbers who were all booked and then called Best Plumber. They were able to come out within a couple hours and replaced ours with a new one! We're fortunate to be able to live in a floating home community but it has its challenges - one of the biggest of which is our community plumbing.

Best Plumbing has become our go-to plumbing company. Recently, Travis came out to replace a main sewage pump 15' down at the bottom of a tank. If you think that sounds unpleasant , you are correct. He was on time, professional in all aspects, worked through several unexpected problems, and stayed positive and up beat the entire time. It was a privilege to get to know him and to benefit from his superior work.

BTW, in the past, we used another large company. You've heard their ads. Not only were they three to four times the cost of Best for similar work but also they did sloppy electrical work. (I'm a general contractor and have worked with many electricians.) And they refused, despite multiple polite requests, to fix the problems.

From start to end, Best Plumbing gave us excellent service. We called around 11 A.M. because of a blocked-up toilet and a plumber was onsite within an hour. That was impressive! The technician was great. Apparently our emergency service call appointment was not relayed to him though. I called about an hour after the appointment time and he said that he would be there in another hour and 15 minutes.

Steve is a terrific installer and many kudos to him and his company. Fast, efficient and good service. Bid was substantially cheaper than Brennan and the they responded much quicker. I observed the entire installation, know a lot about plumbing, and still learned new stuff.

The plumber showed up on time, efficiently did the necessary repairs, explained everything and tested his work. He took extra time to answer some questions I had. Definitely please with the service and I recommend them.

Best plumbing took care of me during a very upsetting time when my 20 year old toilet became a nightmare. Since a new toilet that fit the requirements of my situation is no longer being made, Travis replaced everything in the water tank and recommended that this be done every 10 years to avoid needing to purchase a new toilet which would have a smaller toilet bowl. I was completely taken care of within 24 hours. These people are my heroes!

We called Best Plumbing last night cause the PVC pipe connected to our Sump Pump / Grinder pump cracked. I left a message with them and then called before they opened. They were great and had someone in a few hours who repaired the pipe by replacing the broken parts and securing the new pipe so that this should not happen again for a long time. We have used Best Plumbing a three times now - once to install fixtures and 3 times to repair items and they were able to take of things quickly.

I made an appoiment to have someone come out and give me a quote for installing a water leak detection device. No one showed up the first time and when I called, the receptionist gave me a lame excuse about me not answering the phone so the person decided not to come. I checked my phone calls and confirmed that no one called me that day.

I made another appointment for today and no one showed up again. I called them and was told that no one can make it today either and to reschedule for another day. I told her that I should charge them for wasting my time and not to bother rescheduling again.

They may be good at what they do but I can't recommend a company who is not reliable and doesn't value other people's time.

Another reputable plumbing company inadvertently created a new major plumbing problem as a result of their work. We got a 2nd opinion from Willie with Best Plumbing. Willie diagnosed it after the other plumbing company misdiagnosed it (the other plumbing company also initially disagreed with Willie's findings). It turned out that Willie was right!

Recently had both interior plumbing and exterior side sewer work done by an awesome team of Kurt Volkle (his interior work to replace old plumbing far surpassed my expectations) and he freely shared his wealth of experience as we took a look at the big picture of the project. David Jenkins also spent a great deal of time considering options for our complex side sewer arrangement. Our work was done promptly, carefully and excellent clean up.

Called to schedule appointment they were two months out.
Never showed and rescheduled me again.
Prior to second appointment, the called to tell me that doesn’t work either. Rescheduled again.
Third time after two and a half months and they were suppose to show between 9:00-10:00am. Got a call at 11:00am saying he was on his way. No call before to let me know anything different.
Totally unprofessional. Totally unorganized and a total fail at customer service. If you want a very unreliable plumbing company, then it’s a good fit for you.

This company is terrible, do not use! They have refused to send us an estimate for over a month and still charged us to come out...to give us an estimate! We have called them multiple times and at first were told they were on vacation, then weeks go by and they are waiting on supplies to give a quote then a month goes by and the lady on the phone just said i'll pass you message along thats all I can do. Excellent service from the initial scheduling to the final billing. Mike provided above and beyond tips and tricks while he performed a routine check on our tankless water heater showing me some items I could perform myself and recommendations for future service. All in all the visit ended up saving me money given his advice. Would strongly recommend Best Plumbing for their courtesy, convenience, and punctuality.

Our 7 year old bradford white gas water heater stopped making hot water. Its indicator light said the temperature sensor was faulty. We called the plumbing company who installed it. The first thing their technician said to me was your water heater was not installed correctly, and is not to code. it took another day for him to find a replacement part, with a repair cost of $1300. Since the cost of the heater, installation, and removal of the previous tank was $1500, I was stunned. Then I was quoted a cost of $3200 to install a new heater. We called Best Plumbing and they had a technical arrive within an hour. Our cost for the up-to-code installation of the same heater was about half the price. We highly recommend Best Plumbing and Kurt was exceptional in his expertise and workmanship.

I had a kitchen sink that was leaking in the bottom of my garbage disposal and failing to drain when the dish washer was running. Norman and Luke addressed both issues. They were professional and made an effort to ensure things were done properly. Top notch crew - thanks again Norman.

Best Plumbing truly is the best! I had been dealing with a leaky shower faucet that another plumbing company came out to look at, didn’t fix, actually made leak more, and told me that my only options were either to open walls or remodel my entire shower! I had to stop using this shower for about three weeks because the faucet stem was leaking so much and running into the wall.

Fast forward to today, when Jimmy from Best Plumbing came out, and within 30 mins had replaced both the hot and cold stems, completely solved my leaking faucet issue, and fixed my shower so I can now use it! He sure saved me a lot of money and the headache of having to completely redo my shower! He was punctual, considerate, and professional on top of being a very skilled plumber. I plan to use Best Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs!

Steve had to order parts and a tool to do our work. He was very helpful and did a great job. The one thing that could have been better was PM'ing the project and delay for parts. Instead of being called, texted or emailed with status by someone or anyone at the company, I had to call in a couple of times to learn why the delay was taking a while. Still, I've used BEST for years and always have good service.

One of the best plumbers I've worked with being an RM in Seattle. I don't dread calling them because their office is so polite and prompt. Their plumbers are responsible and also GREAT to work with. Never had a bad experience with them and we have used them a lot.

Not at all easy to work with or professional. I wanted to find out if they would be willing to bid on a large job at a community I manage. I called them a left a voice mail for Brandon. After 3 weeks I hadn't heard back so I called again. The gal that answered the phone said she thinks they heard that they are booked out for the year and aren't sure if they can take on another job. She tried to transfer me to Brandon, but he wasn't able to take the call. She asked if I wanted to leave another voice mail or if I would prefer to send an email. I asked which would be faster, because even if they can't take the job a simple acknowledgment would be nice. She told me they didn't want to work with me and hung up the phone. GREAT customer service. If you can't take on any work that's completely fine, but at least take the time to tell me that. Also, hanging up on a potential client is bad business regardless of how busy you are. I DO NOT recommend working with this company. Apparently they are far too busy anyway.

Greg and his coworker did a great job. They kept at it until our 65 year old drain line was running clear. Greg gave me good advice on keeping the line clear with BioOne. I was very happy with their work!

This company did plumbing repair & toilet installation for us twice. I really feel as though the technician, Steven Fritz , was
Forthcoming as well as knowledgeable about my sink and toilet repair/ installation .

When my sink was leaking and my shower drain was clogged I figured no plumbers would be able to come out during the quarantine, Best Plumbing came out the next day, right on time. He wore gloves, kept his distance and was in and out of our house quickly. We can now do dishes and shower! Thank you Best Plumbing!

The rescheduling of yesterdays service is why I am leaving this feedback.

I manage a few buildings and BEST PLUMBING came highly recommended. This was a simple replacement of a mixer valve, my tenant could only take 5 mins showers before the hot water was gone. Took at least 2 weeks to get the part and several unnecessary reschedulings due to overbooking (being bumped) before this simple matter was fixed.

THIS person called me up yesterday to offer an earlier time, I declined the earlier offer and asked to have them show up at the scheduled time (tenant requested). I was told that I did not have another window and this was it (even though I booked this appointment the previous week). She then told me it was my fault that there was a scheduling issue. Yes, she actually took time to call me up to tell me I was wrong even though I had at least 2 text currently on my phone from best plumbing confirming my window of service. She then told me my window was never available and then she will get back to me later. Never heard from her. I then called BP back AGAIN that day as I still did not have an appointment and she answered. Eventually she told me her supervisor would be informed, would be calling me back and we set the final appointment . The plumber TRAVIS (excellent plumber by the way, good job and thank you Travis!) came and went at the scheduled time. This took place at least 2 week after I place the first call.

So far, their plumbing work is excellent. But I refuse to lose ANYMORE TIME due to their inability to schedule or to argue, yes argue, with lousy customer service. If only I could charge BEST PLUMBING for all the cancelled appointments...

Best Plumbing was able to dispatch a plumber within 6 hours for a non-emergency repair. For MY security, appreciate that I received a text with a photo and name of the plumber once he was enroute to my home. Kurt made suggestions re: repair with cost of each, and leaking valve was quickly repaired. I'm one satisfied repeat customer.

I am a property manager and only use Best Plumbing. They are on time, knowledgeable and always get the job done. Jimmy Z was out at one of my rentals today and did a fantastic job, he expalained the issue to the tenant and then called to give me the information.

Funny story - we were desperate for help and live on an island where plumbing needs are hard to get in a pinch. With a quick run to the grocery store I saw the Best Plumbing Truck with a driver in it having a quick lunch. I knocked on the window and Curt kindly rolled down his window, let me Interrupt him and ask if they service the island and he asked me what my issue was. He was waiting for his customer and said if he could finish his install with enough time he would try and catch me before going off island to get his ferry. He actually did! Immediately assessed our situation and was able to give my husband the guidance we needed to help him solve our problem which overwhelmed us and let us ask him about a couple other things we’ve been worried about. Give this guy a raise Best Plumbing - he rocks and he represents your company well!

I am a property manager who has used Best Plumbing on and off since 2004. I find them incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and are my go to plumber particularly if it's a huge plumbing ordeal. They are at times a little higher than some of their competitors, but I have found that it's definitely worth the tiny bit extra cost in not having headaches and saving time because they simply do great work!

I didn't have a great experience at the showroom. I went in with a specific list of fixtures that our designer had spec'd and was interested in Best because they also offered plumbing services. The sales associate tried to upsell me on fixtures that had no resemblance to what we had worked out with our designer. She made pointless and uneducated comments about how difficult is was going to be for me to find a tile installer when I already had one lined up. Finally, she suggested that I buy all the fixtures from her and then I could call the Best plumbers out to bid the plumbing side of the job. It was like the showroom and the services side of the company are two totally different businesses that have nothing to do with each other. I have used companies that have both showrooms/sales and provide installation before and had great experiences. It was clear I wasn't going to get that here. Didn't go back.

Had Collin out to replace my 15 year-old water heater. Before doing so, as I was vacillating between tank vs. tankless,Collin explained in great detail the differences between the two. In the end, I opted for the standard hot water tank. Collin was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and committed to providing me the right option for my particular situation. I would absolutely recommend Best Plumbing.

Excellent yearly inspection by Travis was very helpful. He gave good information about several upgrades we were considering and adjusted the water pressure we were having trouble with. Travis was efficient, personable, and knowledgeable.

Collin at Best Plumbing is an asset to this team. His knowledge of water heaters is 2nd to none. Installed a tankless Triangle Tube Challenger unit from the ground up. Entire boiler system the heats the condo and provides hot water.
Collin bailed me out many times when I needed repairs and had no hot water. Always able to adjust their schedule to help. He has gone far above and beyond to get things running properly.
Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Plugged kitchen sink drain just as preparation for big party. Called Best, asked for help asap. Within a couple of hours Steve showed up and very efficiently cleared the clog some 20+ feet down the pipe. Fast, clean and effective would be the words I choose to describe my experience with Best Plumbing...I'd call them again in a heartbeat if I needed plumbing services.

We had a great experience with the selection and installation of two water heaters. The two workmen, Mehran Bagheri and his partner (sorry I don't have his name), were knowledgeable, courteous, great at explaining everything, hard-working, efficient, and flexible with timing. They also pointed out two things that needed a plumbing upgrade and explained why. So glad they are current and up to code. Thanks to these two men for their expertise.

I called their 24/7 number on a Sunday and asked for an appointment Monday as I had a rental property that had a plumbing issue in the shower where we had to turn off the water to the whole house. The on-call lady said someone would call Monday morning to schedule the appointment. No one did. I called back in and they said they could get someone to me between 1-4 Monday afternoon. Perfect. I called in at 3:30 and they said they were still hoping to have someone stop by. They called back a minute later to say they couldn't make the appointment but I could pay $250 for them to come after hours, 3 times the usual rate, even though it was their fault they missed their appointment window. It was too late for me to find another plumber for the day. If they had told me earlier that they couldn't make it, I could have found someone else but I relied on them to make their scheduled time. This resulted in me telling my tenants they had to go another whole day without water. Very frustrating experience. I will never use them again.

Amendment: I received a call from the manager the day after my review to apologize. He said mistakes were made and this should have been made a priority since they didn't have water. I appreciated the call and the apology, which goes to show they do care about customer service, but I am leaving up the review as is as it still reflects my experience and frustration at the time.

Totally disagree. Never had a company charge for a cost estimate without delivering it. No reimbursement after several calls and no call back from management. It's a scam!!!

I am inclined to contact the BBB to inform them of these practices, as no other company has charged me to give a cost estimate and they were timely and professional with theirs. Your manager has my number, but I have not had any calls back except for this response.

Today I had a great young guy come out and replace an outdoor hose bib. Previously, I had used South County Plumbing before they merged with Best about two years ago.

This is the fourth job I've had Best/South County do. Previously had two sink hookups and another outdoor bib replacement done.

Have had four different plumbers and all have been good over past 3-4 years. Typically job is done in an hour or less and price with some minor parts usually ends up around $250.

The plumber who came today had worked at South County previously handling parts and warehouse ops. He said South County charged less for most services and had to merge because they couldn't financially make a go. Today's price was more than SC, but I will continue to use Best because they get the job done.

I had a crisis over the weekend, well to me it was a crisis and I knew I was overreacting. But Best responded professionally and compassionately. They sent a great guy out who fixed my problem in about 2 minutes. He was so kind to me and didn't even make me feel ridiculous for being so wigged out (I would have totally understood if he had, I was ridiculous). He was gracious and sincere in his concern. You cannot manufacture that kind of service. Best is the Best.

After getting the run-a-round from another company I found Best Plumbing online and I have to say, they stay true to their name!!! Willie was on time and beyond FAST!! The problem was fixed in a few minutes and they informed me of what will need to be taken care of in the future. I look forward to doing business with them again soon!!

Greg did a fantastic job on our kitchen sink drain that hadn’t been cleared out in maybe 100 yrs (!). He was friendly, patient, persistent, as he needed several attempts to clear the sludge down there. He calmly wound-up running about 48’ of the snake. I hired Best Plumbing to fix a leak in the basement of my rental property. While the plumbing work itself was done well, the plumber severed an electrical wire while cutting into the wall a few inches away from an outlet to gain access to the plumbing, which caused a loss of power to two electrical outlets and a potential fire hazard. Instead of the plumber taking responsibility for the damage and notifying the company to start a claim through their liability insurance, he told me that I would need to hire an electrician myself to get it fixed. I contacted the company repeatedly over the next several weeks, but they were unresponsive and ultimately never responded to my concerns and the damage they caused. I would not hire this company again.

Initial experience a couple of years ago was frustrating... a case, unfortunately, of a seemingly knowledgeable tradesman who didn’t follow through. Based on my experience then - my rating would have been 1 Star.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago though, and the experience is much improved! Curt showed up on time; listened to the issues to be addressed and went to work with efficiency and professionalism. He left with homework to complete (estimates and a search for parts) and has kept up with the follow through that was promised. The only things holding this down from a 5-star rating are the prior experience that needs to be overcome, and the fact that the job is still ongoing. I’ll report back when Curt finishes up.

I have a 15 year old boiler providing hot water and subfloor heating that stopped working. Best Plumbing sent Collin Kehr who got the system up and running and taught me how to keep it running safely while additional parts are on order. I am very happy with the service.

I am leaving this review for the incident technician Wade at Best Plumbing helped me out in April of 2017. Long story short is that my new tenant at that time told my property manager (PM) the water pressure was VERY low. The PM got two quotes from two plumbing companies, both nearly 10k, for opening dry wall and relay water lines. I was puzzled since previous two tenants never had this low pressure problem. After my PM found WADE at BEST PLUMBING for third opinion, Wade found there is a pressure adjuster valve closed. Total cost was very minimal. Thanks so much for their honesty !!!

Steve O. came out, after hours on a rainy Saturday night to our Floating Home community to clear a main-line clog - saving not one but 4 homes from what would have been a very long night (and probable following day) of no plumbing! It was a tough, very non-standard job just to get access to the line; even getting the snake into the line turned at 90* took many attempts but he stuck with it. We were very lucky to have him bring us back to civilization!

Our home had an ancient, customized, Rube Goldberg** type supplemental water heating system plumbed into the wood stove and the chances of obtaining repair parts were precisely zero. Norm diagnosed the problem, corrected it plus the 2 other household items and I am a satisfied customer and will not hesitate to recommend this establishment.

The guys (we had a apprentice too) were great from Best, professional, on time and they figured out why my two year old tankless water heater had turned into a waterless and heatless water heater. They worked with the manufacture's tech support and got at least the parts covered under warrantee. They were also able to get the thing working again so we had both water and hot water while the parts were being shipped (much to my wife's delight).
I love Best but I am not very impressed with my tankless water heater.

The Guy returned with the parts and voila as good as new!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had a tankless water heater put in from a company that was recently purchased by BEST PLUMBING and found out it was installed wrong with many problems. We reached out to Best and was told that they have no desire to help any customers of the company they purchased. So I am left stranded. HORRIBLE way to treat customers like this. Not a way to build a relationship with new customers purchased. I will never consider using a company like this or recommend. They also told me the owner would reach out, never happened!

BP Dispatch seems to be mildly disorganized, but the issue was resolved quickly.

We had them replace 6 toilets in a building in Dec 2013. I was a bit weary when I seen caulking at the toilet base (shouldn't be done as you cannot see leaks) A plumber came out to check on leak and said water comes out of base when flushing. Zero contact with wax ring and base. They repaired and charged $140. I emailed this invoice and notes to Josh at Best Plumbing and his response thanks for the information, Josh

Wayne came out. He was on time, called ahead, knowledgeable, neat and provided advice on avoiding future problems. I was completely satisfied with his work and see no reason not to give him full 10s for service.

Found them through a discounted services deal. They were initially responsive, friendly, and they provided us with a fair quote for some work to replace plumbing for a shower. Unfortunately they were flaky when it came to actually performing the work. We scheduled work with them over a week out, but they didn t show up at all that day and didn t call to tell us. When we called them to ask them what was going on, they were initially clueless and then they wanted to tentatively schedule us in again for 3 days later but wouldn t commit to showing up on time. This business was too flaky and non-committal for us, so we hired someone else. I would avoid them if you have a time sensitive project or a busy schedule.

Very very expensive! I had to get replacement of a couple of tankless water heater parts which were supplied by the heater company. The plumber charged me $725 for tankless heater service even though he just replaced 2 parts and not complete maintenence and service. Ended up paying a lot more as compared to couple other plumbers that I had quotes from.

Curt came to fix connections from our instant hot water to its filter. He had to deal with some previous installations problems. The result was first class. I hope he is available next time we call.

I am always confident with their work. May seem pricey, but they are clear with the cost upfront, no surprises. And they show up when they say they will, are knowledgeable and personable. Happy to have them in my house.

Unprofessional, did not receive the quote after estimator visited. Did not take off shoe or wear boot covers mud and pine needles all over the house. Weirdo came over looking like captain crunch.

The rental bathroom needed an under counter HWH and the plumber was able to come out the same day. Retrieve the correct size from nearby warehouse and install in just a few hours. He removed the old one and left the place clean.

As a home-owner in the Wallingford area, I was very interested in helping to support a local plumbing company for a small project of installing a new 3 Clean-Out for the Sewer outside the kitchen.

I was given an estimate of 1-hour, but the guy said it was a simple and they had a min of 1 hour. Far enough. Once done, the work looked good but he said they would bill me. Looking around the site, the guy left an invoice for the materials he used, which was purchased from Dunn Lumber and it was funny how cheap they bought the items for...

A week later, I get a bill for 2.5x what was expected and the labor jumped to 1.5h at $100/hour. In addition, there was an addition $14.95 in Mobilization Expense and $107 in parts... hmm..

I called the billing department and was put on speakerphone with a guy named John, who obviously didn't like to speak to people as he was immediately a jerk and continued to interrupt me during every sentence. You just hear his eyes rolling, as I asked about the $15 Mobilization Expense, which he said everyone was charged for their gas (I live 5 blocks). When I attempted to ask about the labor-estimate going over, I was interrupted with Do you have a written estimate. As soon as I responded that he didn't leave one, they guy jumped right into fighting about how they always leave and estimate.... then it was a fight about what his name was, well don't you guys know or have a copy of the estimate... then the d*ck was off to the races again about if the guy was tall or lanky. I guess so, the guy was tall, but I didn't think about mentally insulting the guy at the time...

Come on. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Best Plumbing & Rooter at 4129 Stone Way N, 98103. There's tons of companies out there that would love to do some business in today's economy, this is just NOT one of them.

I called, they came, they were professional. Its a simple as that. I appreciated that they didnt have to string the job out and have to reschedule for parts. I had a small window to get it fixed and that was accomplished.
