I had a toilet leak between the tank and seat, and at the water shutoff valve. In less than an hour, Don and Shawn fixed the leaks by replacing fill valve, shut off valve, and tank gaskets. My family had a wonderful experience with Don's service!

I am so happy that I found Don the Plumber. He is the most pleasant and nicest plumber I have ever met, in all my time in Virginia Beach. He has helped us several times. He replaced all of our toilets and faucets in our bathrooms. He has fixed my supply line for the dishwasher and he just left after fixing the garbage disposal and pipes under the kitchen sick. I highly recommend him and you can tell him I said so!!

Few years ago we started having plumbing problems one after another. After experiencing several plumbing repair businesses my wife and I was never totally pleased with the service provided. One day we had a problem with a leaky shower. I went out on a limb and chose a small (at that time) ad on the internet search engine “Don’s Plumbing” and phone number, nothing fancy. I said to my wife that it can’t be any worse than the previous experience in the past. I made the call that morning and don was there within 5 hours later. Even though the issue was not urgent, Dons’ professionalism showed me that any issue is just important than the next. He took care of the problem quickly and was very reasonable rates. Don has a true passion for his work. Whenever there’s a plumbing service needed we call on Don for his GREAT SERVIVE, GREAT RATES AND GREAT PLUMBING. I have never found a more trustworthy plumber.

Kendall arrived at our house and was able to assess the work that needed to be done and completed it timely. He was great and answered all our questions. Called them in the morning and they did their best to provide service the same day. Techs arrived early and wore masks to help prevent spread of COVID 19. Kendell and Shawn were very courteous and professional. They worked very efficiently to fix the issue and made sure toilet was restored to working condition before leaving. called dons plumbing in the evening,I had a washing machine drain backup.was told that somebody would be out 1st thing in the morning. was very impressed with the company they called that next morning to let me know they were on their way, once they arrived the tech. was very polite and went right to work on the problem.what impressed me more was that after unclogging the drain he gave me some advise in how to keep the drain open. i will always use dons plumbing from this point on.

a two man team came to replace my toilet. They stayed in constant contact until they arrived. They were very professional, and most importantly they were fast and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and all around good guys. $99 well spent.

I contacted Don's Plumbing to replace an old direct vent gas water heater. Don and his partner came out on schedule and got the job done in a timely fashion, which included picking up a new water heater that I personally selected at Home Depot and disposing of the old unit. They always responded quickly whenever I texted or called, had good honest communication, were very professional, and kept the worksite clean. The best part was his price was over $2K less than another company's quote and I doubt that other company could've done a better job!! I highly recommend Don's Plumbing and will undoubtedly use them for all future jobs!

I just bought a house and after hooking up and running the washer, I discovered it drained into my kitchen cabinets! I looked online and Don's plumbing had 5 star reviews so I called. He was here the next day bright and early to assess the problem and start fixing it. Don and his associate Shawn were polite and prompt and got straight to business. I recommend their service to anyone.

I have had experience in the last 6-8 months with at least 3-4 different plumbing companies in the Hampton Roads area and when I say I'd call Don's plumbing services over all of them...I cannot emphasize this enough. I had one issue that was continuous (unable to be solved by all the other companies) and one emergency issue that they were BOTH able to complete in less than 24 hours of notification. The owner of the company himself saw to both issues and they were here for at least two solid hours. They were unbelievable thorough, caring, patient, communicative and unlike some other companies that just want to get in and get out as soon as possible...you could tell these guys really cared about doing it right..which is hard in this industry when its difficult to know who you can trust and who is just going to take advantage of you.

Don has been our plumber for about 10 years. Anytime we have an issue he has a quick response time and always leaves us happy with the end results. He and his technicians are always professional, polite, and on time.

Called Don to fix I leak I had in the outdoor portion of my main water line into the house. He and his partner showed up on time, worked fast to fix the problematic portion of the pipe, and cleaned everything up once they were done (beyond what I believed necessary). They were knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions and explain what was going on. When I had a complication with a toilet later that day due to dirt that had gotten into the line, they came back the next day to fix it for no additional charge. I would definitely use Don's Plumbing again and would recommend them to others.

Note, I don't fault them for the complication. They did take considerable precautions to avoid it and checked that water was flowing normally inside the house before leaving. They asked me if water was flowing properly everywhere else in the house, and I simply didn't check everything I should have.

I hired Don to do a remove and replace on my water heater. He showed up a few minutes early and knocked it out in about 90 minutes. Friendly and professional. They even broke down and cut up the box that the new water heater came in and put it in my recycling bin, and hauled the old one to the curb for me. Highly recommended. Don's my new go-to plumber!

High dollar any company that has to pull a book out to rip you off with proof that's one of them never will I call again or recommend also wanted to charge 1000 dollars to put a camera down the drain which the other plumber that I actually hired did for free unless you like giveing your money away call another plumber

On Saturday my husband and I tried to fix our tub faucet from leaking. Well we ended up making matters worse. We called Don at 4:30 pm and he was at our place at 5:00pm. He couldn't fix our problem until Monday, but he told us what to do to solve the problem until Monday, which we greatly appreciated because we didn't know what to do. On Monday he showed up at 4 pm, which was the time I gave him. Don and his sidekick Shawn did such an awesome job!! They even replaced my toilet in the bathroom while they were here. They were friendly and very easy to talk to. Any question I asked they answered with no problems. We laughed and joked and they even befriended my dogs that literally barked at them until the last hour of their services. I highly recommend this business! I'm going to have them come back in a couple of months to replace my dishwasher because they did such an amazing job. I recently had a plumbing issue at my restaurant (Famous Uncle Al's at Kemps River) and after doing some research and reading reviews I decided to call Don's Plumbing. After chatting briefly we scheduled to have him out the next day & things went great! He was efficient with his time and we were fixed and ready with plenty of time to spare before the restaurant opened! We had an unbelievable clog under the house. The first plumber didn't have large enough equiptment to complete the job and recommended Don. Don was surprisingly able to come over within an hour of me calling him. He had to deep snake all the way to the driveway twice. He and Shawn got the job done in about an hour! I called Don immediately after the plumbers from American Home Shield practically refused to do anything for me because there wasn’t a mechanical issue when they arrived.
I explained what was going on with my toilets and how the issue was intermittent. He was practically able to diagnose the issue from our phone conversation. On top of that he came out first thing the next morning to unclog my lines. Turns out there was a bunch of grease (thanks kids) that was causing the slow drain.
He gets two thumbs up from me and I’ll be recommending him to any of my friends who may be in need of a plumber.

I would recommend him over all others. When no one else was available, he came out from another job and accessed my problem. He gave me a temporary fix for the night but the next day as promised, came out and completely fixed my problem. Best of all, he didn't over charge me and is a honest, God-fearing man. Called with an emergency leak on a Saturday morning. They were in the middle of another job, but stayed in constant contact with me until they could get to my home. Found the problem quickly and repaired it. Also much cheaper than the other plumber I called to take a look at the problem. I found them on Angie's list and I'm so glad I did! This is one small business that you can trust! When I had a problem with my shower faucet, I made an appointment with Don right away. His receptionist is friendly, clear spoken, and flexible with making appointments.
Based on my description over the phone to her, we thought the entire tub / shower faucet might need to be replaced. However, when Don came out to work he recognized immediately that I only needed a new cartridge.
Don took the time to explain the faucet parts to me and how they worked, even showed me the old one and where it had broken and another piece had corroded. After taking photos of the old cartridge he and his plumbing assistant immediately went to the plumbing supply store and purchased an exact match.
What had stressed me out for over three weeks was fixed in only 2 hours! He even charged less than he initially quoted because the JOB WAS A SIMPLER fix! Honest & knowledgeable, all of the positive reviews are true! This is the plumber you should call. I'm glad I did & now his number is saved on my phone.
