Michael, the service technician actually arrived earlier than expected, he was knowledgeable and courteous,he performed a great service allowing me and my family to get back to our regular routines in a timely manner. We called before normal business hours and the dispatcher returned with a quick response. Great team overall! Thanks!

We normally use a more well known company for our plumbing needs, but we wanted to try a smaller business. Michael came to our house and removed our problematic garbage disposal today. He told us what he planned to do each step of the way, which was refreshing. The professionalism was second to none! I was anticipating a very high bill, but it so reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future!

Called them later in the day on Wednesday about a leaky toilet. They tried fitting me in on Thursday but I said Friday worked better. They had Micheal here at 8am and he was done at 830. Clean professional and informative. Will definitely call them first for any other plumbing issues.

Great staff and great service

Was having problems with a contractor from the insurance company and needed toilet installed. Called Barry and Sons around 3:00 PM Mike was out at 4:00 made recommendations before installation gave me an estimate. Rather than return the next day he went out and got the parts and completed the job that night.

Our laundry room sink had flooded and I was left to deal with it. After hours of plunging it I decided to give a call to Barry and Sons to see if they could help me. The sweet woman who answered the phone was incredibly helpful with getting me scheduled for the following morning. About five minutes later I received a call from her saying she had someone close by and that they could be here in thirty minutes! Travis was to my house in about twenty minutes and immediately got to work. He was super helpful with explaining what was going on and how to prevent the same thing from happening in the future. He was done in just under two hours. I am incredibly grateful and so relieved that I can get back to doing laundry (yay) and enjoyed my conversation with Travis. Should I need some plumbing help in the future I will definitely be calling again!

I was having burping noises coming from my bathtub when I flushed the toilet. A google search of the issue said there was probably a clog or back up somewhere in the system and a plumber should be called. I found Barry and Sons Plumbing after another quick Google search and saw they were local and had many many great reviews. I'll tell you what, those reviews are spot on. I called and they provided a rough estimate of the work, which was far cheaper than the bigger competition. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment, and they were there in less than 24 hours! Travis found the issue right away, which turned out to be a backup on the city's side. Best of all, Barry and Sons didn't charge anything! I will definitely be calling them in the future for any plumbing issues I have! All I can hope for now is that the city responds and fixes the problem promptly.

We have used Barry and Sons service two times this year and we are very pleased. We had to get a new sink earlier this year and a water heater replacement today. Travis worked on our sink install (we had some unexpected hiccups and he kept us informed of what he was doing the whole time). Travis and Terry replaced our water heater in a very timely manner—they showed up on time, worked diligently and were in and out within an hour and a half. Super respectful and professional. While we hope not to have any more plumbing issues, if we do, we know who to call!

Response to water heater failure was quick, they arrived the next day with the water heater. Other companies wanted to do an evaluation visit first then come and repair on another day. They were clean and very professional.

Our plumbing specialist, Michael, showed up on time and immediately got to work. He was kind, professional, and meticulous with our faucet installation. Though I was initially considering installing the two new faucets myself, I was glad I chose to have Michael do it, since the quality of his work far exceeded my own. He even did a great job cleaning up and disposing of all the old components. My wife and I will be hiring Barry and Sons Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs.

Just recently reopening from the mandated closures, the last thing I needed as a barbershop owner was plumbing drama. I reached out to Barry and Sons and I am so glad I did! The service is great; the price is not. Get quotes elsewhere. They will not adjust their price if the job was quoted incorrectly. Don’t let them quote you over the phone. Shame on me. Lesson learned. It is tough to hear the technician say, “well this will be a lot easier than expected” and then be charged more. When I asked for an itemized bill, I was refused. $125 per every 10 minutes work is to high. We were going to use them for a bathroom model, but we are now looking for new contractor.

Having a property in another state that we are unable to be there most times to check on makes you an easy target for unscrupulous people to take advantage of. When our property had a major plumbing issue that's exactly what we were running into until I called Barry & Son. They put me at ease immediately. They gave me a great quote, got the job done quickly and kept me updated (even with pictures) every step of the way. They even guided me to other professionals I could trust for other issues that came up. If I ever need a plumber again I wouldn't use anyone but Barry & Son's.

Zach showed up on time and spent two hours diagnosing a second floor bathroom leak which was dripping water through the ceiling into my kitchen. It took awhile of troubleshooting and opening some walls but he eventually found the leak in a toilet and repaired it. He was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and cleaned up after himself. We will definitely use Barry and Sons again!

Today wasn’t the first time I have used Barry and Son’s plumbing, back in the summer they installed the plumbing for a new bathroom, they were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and they kept me updated on everything they were doing.
Today they repaired a gas pipe that was rusting, they kept me updated about when they would be here, Travis was here on time and did a great job, he even went the extra mile and looked at something in the kitchen for me. Barry and Sons Plumbing does large and small jobs. Yesterday they were across the street stopping a big water leak. Today, Travis and Nathan installed a kitchen water filtration system, all the while answering our questions and politely listening to our chatter. Way to go guys!!! First: Called with a backflowing main pipe and got Crystal on the phone immediately. She was very helpful and clear about the scheduling options. Turns out a tech (Michael) became available, so he came the same day...

Michael listened, was courteous and communicated every step of the way. We tried the least invasive and simplest actions first. Whenever something needed adjusting, he communicated his intent and reasons, and also addressed any follow-on concerns I may have before proceeding.

Turns out he needed a bigger/longer drain snake to complete the job, so he called the tech who had the gear that was needed (Travis) who was slated to arrive about 30 minutes after the call. Michael assured me I wasn't being charged for the down time (nice touch).

They rapidly worked through the issue together, and laid out the details of the outcome and how to go about tackling the problem when something similar occurs in the future.

After the immediate issue was fixed, I made a secondary and third request, which they happily repaired.

Note: The main drain had some unsavory issues associated with it, but Michael knew what had to be done, so he pushed through...

My husband tried to fix a backyard leaky faucet and broke off the pipe. He had shut the house water because he couldn’t find a backyard valve. I called this plumber and after an explanation put a plumber on the line with my husband. They then said they would look for someone. It was pouring rain and 20 minutes later they said Travis would be over after 2 other jobs. He came in 1 1/2 hours. He was very nice and found the broken pipe. I’m on a slab but he cut a small hole in the wall for access. He replaced the faucet and then showed me the shutoff valve for the backyard. And all for a very reasonable price!! He also gave me the number for a drywall repair person. He was very professional and said it was no problem! It was for us. He was a great solution to my problem. Thank you Travis!

I had an emergency. The drain pipes cracked in the walls and ceiling of the 2nd and 1st floor of my property and created water damage because wastewater was running through the walls. After going through and calling (as well as begging) 4 computer screens of listed plumbers, Barry and Sons were willing to fit me at the end of their day.

Travis came out, accessed the damage, located the visual problem, and turned the water off on the third floor. He promptly returned (-- fitting me in at 7:30 in the morning) and installed new piping in the ceiling, wall, and under the house

I cannot say enough about how please I was with Travis’ professionalism, speed, workmanship, and the knowledge/information he shared with me. Plus the price was extremely reasonable.

I moved my business into a new building and have had issues with the plumbing. Mike From Barry & Sons went above and beyond to help us figure out the cause and explain to the city what was going on so they could assist in their part. He actually cared about us and I feel like we've made new friends in this chaos.
I originally called them to get quotes for a couple of projects I'd like to do, sinks I'd like to add, and Crystal was so responsive and helpful. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with them and would recommend them to anybody:)

Michael assisted us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. After using Atomic plumbing (they were OK), Michael came in and told us what needed to be done and quickly saw us the next day after speaking to him. From the very first phone call with Crystal to the service call with Travis was excellent. Crystal got back with me with the info I asked for right away and Travis was very nice and did a good job with a rebuild of the inside of 2 toilets. Will use again.

Update 5/16/23 - Barry and Sons was out quickly to repair a broken pipe underneath the house. They worked fast to get everything repaired and water restored, provided advice for the future, and were just great guys.

We called Barry and Sons as they came recommended on the Nextdoor app for our neighborhood. They immediately answered the phone. We were scheduled for an estimate the next day. They arrived on time and were very professional in manner. They gave us three options to fix our issues. We chose the more expensive option that would get long term results. I thought for sure it would be scheduled 6 or more weeks out. To my surprise, they were available the next day. They again showed up on time and ready to work. They were there all day and the problem was fixed that day. I highly recommend this company. They gave us a fair estimate and delivered on the work promised. I used them this summer to repair our sewer line at our rental house...BARRY AND SONS TO THE RESCUE .They were professional and explained everything they did to us step by step..price was great and they fixed it the first time and no problems since. Which brings me to today, My husband is out of town and I am a senior lady who found herself in a very bad situation. We have used Barry & Sons plumbing for many years. I thought I had met all his plumbers.
Michael showed up 9/16/2021 to install our bathroom and kitchen fixtures, as well as our hot water heater and water and sewer pump. It’s a new construction project.
Michael kept me updated throughout the time he was here on how things were going.
When he left he came to the door to give me his final update and to let me know he would be back to finish the next day.
While we were talking, our elderly cat started throwing up. Michael asked if I would like him to clean it up for me. I had ankle surgery the week before and I have to use crutches to get around, so his offer was so nice. I told him thank you, I would get it. This went way above his job duties.

Barry and Sons Plumbing helped me with all the plumbing for my bathrooms. I had all old shower/tub cabins removed and plumbing needed to be adjusted for the master bath, second bath and half bath. Lot's of re-routing of piping. They also added shutoff valves and installed access panels to easily get to them. For the master they also install a shower pan as requested and a tub for the second bathroom. They checked on my vanities to make sure all plumbing lines up and communicated very well to me. Special thanks to Travis to finish the big project in just two days. Thank you Terry as well. Awesome job. Definitely recommend this company.

Barry and Sons, specifically Michael Derry, replaced a small circulation pump that keeps a small amount of hot water going through the pipes. I chose this method over an instantaneous water heater because of price and ease of installation. Using this method, it takes water in the far reaching areas of my home about 40 seconds to get hot vice two minutes. Anyway, the pump previously installed failed, so a new one was procured and installed. Mr. Derry also replaced the cold water check valve for my water heater. Appoint was made via text message. Roy and his crew are top notch! We needed a last minute plumbing issue addressed and Barry and Sons came to the rescue. Not only are they responsive but their work is of the highest quality. Their communication updates are very helpful for planning. We highly reccomend their services.

After reading the reviews for Barry and Sons Plumbing, I contacted them regarding a couple of different plumbing issues. Timing was an issue with my schedule and they were very punctual, arriving at my home not too long after I reached out to them which made the process very easy. Afterwards, they explained to me what the problem was and what they had to did to fix the issues. I addressed future plumbing issues with their employees as well, which there will not be any other company I would contact after the excellent customer service and professional experience I encountered with Barry and Sons Plumbing. Just had Mike and Devon unclog my sewer line. They know their stuff and keep it professional while still being able to crack some funny jokes. If u need anything done with ur plumbing I’d stick with these guys! They won’t rip u off either like some of these other companies out here try to do. And they cleaned up everything when they finished like they were never here. Glad I was able to find them !

When I called on the phone both Amanda and Crystal were very responsive and accommodating in scheduling a plumber to come to the house as soon as possible. Highly recommended! After receiving a high water bill I contacted several plumbing companies but Barry & Sons returned my call promptly. I spoke to Crystal Tuesday morning & that afternoon Travis was at my house to inspect & repair.

Not only did Travis make the necessary repairs he also explained to me how the water meter works & what I should pay attention to. He also explained what needed to be repaired & why it needed to be replaced.

I had an old, leaky shower faucet. This company scheduled an estimate and then the follow-up appointment to install a new Delta valve faucet/handle/shower head. These guys are the real deal. I had a BIG sewer problem and they came out quick when 5ish other guys didn't even want to touch it, AND with a fair price. It was a pretty big job laying all new PVC sewer lines and they came/finished when they said they would. Very organized with great communication.

This company is awesome! Was such a quick response time and very friendly when I had an emergency with my water heater and they called me back within 3 minutes and said they could be out here within an hour.

We had a possible water leak that was causing heavy mold in our crawl space. The intent of the job was simple. Go under my house, find the leak, patch it. But a respirator would be required (personal safety of the awesome technicians). I called Barry and Sons after I got the run around from other big name companies that lectured me on how mold mitigation worked....noone could affirm that a plumber would be provided to do this work, despite my recommendations to play it safe with a respirator. I contacted Barry and Sons and worked with service technician, Adam Riecken. He took the tough job.....I paid for his additional equipment. He came, he worked hard and he got the job done!

Overall a great company. All the people I dealt with were extremely professional and knowledgeable. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and priced very fairly. Will definitely use them again, should anything go wrong. An easy recommendation to anyone looking to get plumbing work done.

I had the pleasure of calling Barry & Sons yesterday due to an issue with my toilet. Mike & Drew were so nice and helpful. They figured out the problem right away and showed me what the problem was. It needed a new fill valve & flapper and they had one in their truck. I know this was a small job but they made me feel like it was their most important job of the day. I would highly recommend Barry & Sons. I liked the email communication letting me know when the technicians were coming. Amanda scheduled my appointment & again, was so nice to deal with. Had them out to look at a shower leak. Tech said it was probably a grout and caulk issue and to try that first. It’s always good when a company will tell you when you can fix something yourself rather than paying them to do unnecessary repairs. Honest guys. Will use them in the future.

I can't recommend Barry and Sons plumbing enough. I will not call anyone else. Crystal was extremely responsive to my request and worked me into the schedule very quickly. Travis and his work partner were on time, professional, respectful, and surprisingly quick! I thought bought of my tiled floor would have to be demolished to repair the toilet or install a new one, but Travis was able to completely repair what I had and my floor is intact!
