Michael's Master Plumbing

Once again, Michael's Master Plumbing came through with efficiency and HONESTY. This time it was Matt and his helper who came out and did a fantastic job replacing a previously very poorly installed commode as well as fixing a fill problem on another. They were on time, got the job done for a reasonable price, and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves when they were through. I've used Michael's Master Plumbing for a variety of plumbing jobs, inside and out, for the last 5 years and am so happy with their service and integrity.

Micheal showed up when promised. He was very efficient and replaced the water heater, and put in a new shut-off valve. He also brought everything up to the latest code at no additional charge. Lastly, he cleaned up after himself and was very respectful of others property. I highly recommend this business.

We were having a guest come and realized the guest bathroom was not flushing. I called Michael’s Master Plumbing and they had someone at my house within an hour. Chase arrived - he was super friendly. After looking at at our toilet, he said it was an easy fix. He had the toilet working in less than 5 minutes and didn’t charge us. I don’t often write reviews but with this type of service I wanted other people to know. If you need a plumber call Michael’s!!!!

Owner came to my mom's house in 30 mins after calling to check her garbage disposal. He took some time to figure out why it wasn't working, finally found a piece of plastic that was lodged inside preventing it from operating, removed that, and didn't charge a dime. Awesome customer service!

I didn't think great trades existed until I had the pleasure of working with Michael's Master Plumbing. Holy smokes they went the extra mile to address my gas leak. They even returned to my house when Atmos returned to have the gas turned back on so they could re-light my pilots. Atmos would have but the service person was of size which would not have worked up my 3 attic ladders to get appliances back up and going. We would have been in a pickle if Michael had not done it proactively! I can't thank them enough, amazing!

Michael may be a nice guys but lacks general business curtsies. I used him a year ago to fix a outside faucet that froze, he did the work OK at the time .When i had another one freeze this winter i called him last Friday and asked for the first call the following Friday, i have sent two messages to his number and called and left a message, no responses. When I look at his feedback appoint issues appears in about 1/3 of the responses. Although i would like to use a local small guy i would suggest if you have plumbing find another provider than Michael's, unless you are willing to be forgotten on the day and time he said he would be present to fix your problem and you believe his time is more important than yours. I read Michael's responses to all the negative comments, always the customer is at fault never his issue.

I am happy with work they done , clean , fast and professional , if you need a plumber stop looking around , call the Michael .

Michael was prompt, did a great job, and was reasonably priced. I'd also note that he replied to an *after-hours* voicemail via text message within the hour. Good luck getting that kind of service from most plumbers.

I'd also like to address some of the people here complaining about scheduling. I understand that it is frustrating when people don't show up when you expect them to, but plumbers are not lawn guys...they may need to bump your non-emergency appointment for a real water emergency elsewhere. If it was your water emergency, you'd appreciate it.

Very quick response by the company. Matt came out to the house within an hour and was extremely friendly and professional. He did an excellent job at assessing the issue and was in and out quickly. I highly recommend Michael’s Master Plumbing and Matt and will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

Upgraded all hardware in two shower/tub bathrooms from shiny finish to brushed nickel. Some of the parts I purchased didn’t quite fit correctly, but Phillip did some creative plumbing and fixed the problems. Everything is so clean and beautiful now. I didn’t have to worry about the mess, because Phillip was so conscientious about cleaning up I only had to sit back and watch it disappear. My home is much prettier with the new fixtures.

Michael’s Master Plumbing exceeded our expectations when they installed our new kitchen sink sprayer. Scooter was on time, professional, kept the area clean and even fixed our main faucet to increase the water pressure. Scooter helped beyond the scope of his service by helping us lift heavy fence panels in our backyard that fell during a storm. When Michael’s Master Plumbing says they put the customer first, they mean it!

So Michael is amazing!!!! We called because our toilet was running and he came over the same day!!! This man is great, quick and top notch! He knew what the problem was over the phone, came in with the part and fixed it within 5 mins, if that! If your not calling him your wasting your time and money! Michael took care of our initial main water line when we found a leak after the winter freeze this past February. He came for that and did a great job! Now, we had low pressure on the toilets and our dishwater was clog. He came and also did a great job fixing our issues for us. He was very responsive and professional. He came right away and fixed the problems super fast! He was done in about 30-40 minutes. We will keep calling him when we develop future plumbing needs. We highly recommend him!

We had to replace our water heater immediately. Michael was our third company to contact and I felt like he was the person for the job. I recently used Michael's Master Plumbing for a toilet installation. They gave me a quote and were out to my house in just a few days. I also had a kitchen faucet to replace, and so on the fly they fixed that as well on the very same day. I was very pleased with them for the price, quality, timeliness, and professionalism displayed throughout.

Based on that experience I called them again and asked for an estimate on another potential job that we had discussed at the first job. I was told someone would get back to me and leave a voice mail if I didn't answer the phone. I never received a voice mail or e-mail, and so after a few days I called. The person who answered identified themselves by their business name but not their own; I assume it was Michael? He assured me that someone had left a voice mail and when I insisted I did not have one he told me to stay put for the next 10 minutes and someone would call. When I responded that I could not do that right now as I was going to be away from my phone for the next 30 minutes, he said then call someone else and hung up. I called back twice and no one answered.

I would give this business 5 stars if it were not for the rudeness and lack of professionalism by whoever answered the phone. It was totally and completely uncalled for. I left them a voice mail about this unfortunate incident and if I don't hear from someone soon to straighten it out then I will NOT be using this business again and I STRONGLY recommend against using them to others as well.

This was a mis-communication issue on our end which we apologize for / a customer who would leave a negative review without talking to us is our good fortune as to his weak personality...

This is no way to run a business. What the owner leaves out is that after he hung up on me I immediately called back and left a voice mail complaining about what happened and requesting that somebody call me back or else I would post a negative review. No one called back.

This morning my wife called attempting to smooth things over and the owner denied the facts about what happened and complained that I posted a negative review. Then I called and left a voice mail stating it was silly to prolong this unfortunate misunderstanding and that if he called me back I would edit the review to be 5 stars just based on the previous outstanding work he had done for us. Instead of calling me (i.e. a loyal returning customer) back and accepting the olive branch I had offered, he instead sends a reply personally insulting me.

I will refrain from posting a personal insult of my own as a reply. Instead I will let the owner's actions speak for themselves. My offer still stands, however, and I will gladly edit this review accordingly and remove any negative information if the owner decides to contact me.

The BEST plumbers. Revamped an entire bathroom with new faucets/spouts/drains etc. Wonderful work. Had tricky Moen & Toto things that they smoothly handled. Alway incredibly responsive, on time, freely share information (like where to get hard to find pieces) and fairly priced. I won’t go anywhere else. They have handled big and small jobs for us and can do it all!

Very professional onsite plumber and quick scheduling. Responsive via text, some estimate confusion, and had to call back after leaving a message. Plumber replaced refrigerator supply line with clean install, cutting into the drywall. Also had other sink supply lines replaced. Overall good experience and fair pricing.

I had an outside faucet that needed to be replace - gave me a good quote compared to others but in my older home this outside faucet is coming up from the ground. The recommendation was to put a steel sleeve around it and pack it with dirt and it will have a hard time freezing like I had it do two years in a row. Highly recommand the work these guys do.

We called them to correct an issue from a previous plumber. Chase was here 15 minutes after I called and was able to fix the problem quickly. He wouldn’t even let me pay for the service call. This is the second time they have come out same day to fix a problem, they are very knowledgeable & professional and we are so thankful to have found their company!

Called to schedule a service call with him on Friday and explained our issues. He asked that I do him a favor by texting him our address and preferred time from his available openings. I did that and he promptly replied to confirm appointment for this morning. The morning came and went and he never showed. I texted him to inquire and he claimed I had cancelled on him which I did not. Then he wanted me to explain again what I needed done. I stayed home from work to wait on him all morning. I'm sure he's a good plumber. But he's definitely not a well organized plumber.

First called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing out to fix a broken pvc toilet flange (s/b brass) but they gave a huge estimate to repair that and possibly replace the pipes under the house all for the mere price of $15k and no the plumber could not or didn't want to just replace the flange. I then called Michael's Master Plumbing and the owner scoffed at what Ben Frank told me. He sent out Matt who arrived very shortly after contacting Michael's. Matt was very courteous and knowledgeable of his trade. He explained he could replace the flange with a proper brass one and have it fixed correctly for $389. The toilet is down and working and all is well. I honestly wished I had contacted Michael's first. I'm Very happy with the job and the service and responsiveness of Matt. I will definitely use Michael's Master Plumbing again.

This is by far the best company I have ever had to obtain services from. They replaced our main gas line and they are half the price of all other competitors. Dont think twice about using them. We found out about them because 4 different people from our facebook neighborhood site recommended them. This is a very skilled and compassionate company.

We found this business via recommendations posted on NextDoor. Due to the massive winter storm of Feb 2021 here in North Texas, like many others, we were affected with burst pipe. The next morning my hubby started calling around to plumbers, and as expected all hard to get lined up. Most he called either had full voicemail boxes, didn't answer or respond. Michael's was the exception--they responded right away and we were added to their appointment roster and waited our turn in the que for about a week. We were unsure the extent or exact location of our burst. Philip & Matt were the team that showed up today to address our damages. We were lucky that our damage was not in the wall behind our washer where we thought it was, and they were able to quickly identify the leak from an adjacent exterior pipe that in living in our home 25+ years we didn't even know existed! They were able to replace and bury that and add a shut-off valve. They ran a check with our meter to ensure no movement to indicate other possible leaks and made sure toilets flushed and hot water coming freely after turning water back on for the house. The team of Phillip & Matt were very professional, friendly and efficient and they explained everything that they did clearly. They arrived promptly (actually a little earlier than expected) and were here just under 2 hours--and the final cost was minimal compared to our insurance deductible and what a competitor might have charged.

This company has helped me with 3 different jobs around my house over the last year. They are responsive, professional, and on time. They are also honest and point out where work isn’t necessary, which is a true sign of integrity since they stand to gain nothing from doing less work for less pay. I’ve gotten multiple quotes for each job, and Michael’s has always given me competitive prices that are better than much of the competition. Wonderful Plumber! I've had a great experience with Michael's Master Plumbing over the last week. They answered the phone and came out very quickly and addressed my issues the first time. I've had them replace my outside faucet and the reverse osmosis tank at the sink. I paid a very fair price for both jobs. Phillip was professional and he had a helper and both were very courteous. The work was to replace outside gas pipe riser which was leaking. Very punctual in replying to the initial request. Very punctual in visiting the site. Great quality work. Great work ethics. I thought they were at least 25-35% more pricey. They could have given a better discount for Atmos work as Atmos recommended them. Overall all good except price.

Incredible service. Michael always goes the extra mile and definitely tells you the truth! I had to have my water line rerouted and his staff even ensured my shelves were anchored back on the wall before they left. They have also replaced my hot water heater and we never run out of hot water.

Michael replaced my main water line to my house. The work was completed the day it was started. My water was interupted for a brief time while the connections were made. City inspection followed the next day and the trench was closed following the inspection. All in all a very smooth job. I am very pleased.

This is very honest plumber. A++ They did not try and sell me on something that was not broken and I appreciate that. They did a very thorough fresh water and sewer test that negated the negative findings from the foundation company’s plumber. Glad some of you had a good experience with Michael's Plumbing. Ours was not. My husband called him on a Thurs for a plumbing job. He was specific about what the problem was including sending pics of the equipment. Michael promised an estimate. Didn't hear from him. My husband called again and left a message. He didn't return the call. 2 days later I called to find out about the estimate.. He said he would call in the morning. No call. Day later I called again. Michael at that time said I don't even know what you want to do. After I said are you kidding me? He hung up. Sooo unprofessional!! He will no doubt respond by saying he did no work and didn't charge me. That is true. What he did was waste our time and leave us with a leak for multiple days. I do not recommend this plumber in any way!

Very disappointed by this unprofessional plumber. Never showed up on scheduled appointment multiple times and did not bother to call or text about not making it for the appointment. I had to take the day off from work for the plumbing appointment and this plumber never showed up for the appointment. I contacted him later and he suggested I find a different plumber since he was busy. What? Why the hell did he agree to the appointment when he was not going to make it? He should have at least informed me if he was on another job and not make it and then worked with me to reschedule. But like I mentioned above he never bothered to call or text ahead of the appointment.

I see all the positive feedback for this plumber on Nextdoor and Google and neighbors like me in the community want to hire him since he is an Allen resident like me and has got positive reviews with the quality of work of work and not scamming customers with high charges. However, he needs to be professional and manage his schedule and appointments properly and inform his customers well in advance when not being able to make it for an appointment.

I rescheduled my appointment just once with this plumber due to a delayed flight coming back from New York but called and gave him sufficient advance notice that I will not be able to make the appointment. However, this plumber was not professional and courteous enough to let me know that he will not able to make it for the rescheduled appointment last Friday. I called and left a voicemail and texted him and then he tells me to find a new plumber. This is bizzare. Why the hell did you make the appointment if you cannot keep it and keep your customers waiting for you to show up and then not even bother to show up or even communicate. Totally unprofessional and will not recommend.

Needed a washer valve box replaced. Cold water would not turn on hot was leaking. Tried several referals but none were immediately available. Called Michaels master plumbing and they arrived quickly and replaced the box and valves. Job was completed and looks better than when they started. Extremely pleased wIth the job completed by Phillip and Matt. They are at the top of my list for any plumbing services.

If you need a Plumber, just call Michael’s Master Plumbing. I’ve needed a plumber several times over the past few years and have always had the same positive experience. They are responsive, punctual, professional and best of all experienced plumbers who actually care. My most recent interaction involved a gas leak. Matt responded and was at the house promptly, found the leak and quickly fixed it. I live in Allen and am so glad that we have a great plumber locally based that can be counted on regardless of the plumbing need.

I called with a non emergency, and they were able to send someone within a few hours working with my schedule. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again!!!

Everytime I call Michael answers quickly, and he is so knowledgeable he can quickly and accurately deduce your issue. he takes the time to listen and ask the right questions. Then what sets him apart is he explains what you would need to do it yourself and how you could do it. Their pricing is very fair and his work is so good that I've always went ahead and had them do the work. I've had toilets replaced, front yard to street replaced, various plumbing inside the house done by them. Five stars every time!

In terms of plumbing, I have never meet a more capable individual. Michael’s ability to diagnose and fix the problem was unbelievable. Called Michael three weeks before our contractor started on our kitchen remodel to schedule appointment. He informed me to call day of after crew removed our drywall and he would come out later in the afternoon.
Called today and he said the earliest he could come to our house was this Friday. Very frustrating experience. Now I have to find another plumber to meet our kitchen remodel timelines. Based on this experience I do not recommend this plumber.

My main water pipe broke and I had an initial estimate of over 5k to fix it. Not only that, but I had to pay $65 for the plumber (not Michael) to come out to even give me that estimate. Thank goodness, I found Michael and he said he would come out and give me an estimate for free. He ended up charging me less than half of the initial estimate. He did a good job and had it all done within a couple days. I liked how he let me see the copper piping and got my approval before covering it up with all the dirt in my yard. I regret wasting my time and money with that other company, but live and learn.

Today, one of the plumbers came out to check for leaks. Our dishwasher had been leaking and I wanted to be sure there weren't any other leaks in the plumbing. He checked thoroughly, no leaks. I started to get my check book...no charge! He said he didn't do any work and they give free estimates. Such great service!

I had a water leak in the bathroom which required removing the damaged bathtub, drilling though the concrete floor and moving the pipes! Had a plumbing company who continually treated us as a inconvenience instead of a valued customer. Saw Micheals as I was leaving the neighborhood so we checked into him. Deciding to try him out we made initial contact and had near immediate response. Scheduled an appointment and he was right on time, eager to hear our issue and he went to work to resolve it. After he resolved it, he gave me exact details of what caused the problem.
We now have a new plumber!

Another awesome job by Michael’s. They came in and installed a toilet for us that we were having trouble removing. They were in and out quickly and left no trace. They also were advising us on a water heater installation. I always feel like they are honest and don’t try to upsell us. We decided it wasn’t in our best interest to install a new heater at this time. We always trust them to give us good advice and to do great work.

Had an upstairs sink that was leaking, and it was also connected to the AC unit. They came over quickly, fixed it with no problem and replaced parts that needed to be replaced. The most responsive, professional Plumbers in all of Allen - Twin Creeks. Use them every time!

Michaels crew repaired a gas line leak on the outside of our house and they were remarkable! I have to tell you I called another company by the name of swan that was given to me by Atmos energy and it was such a stressful time with this company in terms of what they were telling me. I was told that I would have to replace the entire gas line for over $3400 and was told the 3400 was Not guaranteed that would be the final price. I was shocked! Even though our gas was turned off to the house and we had no hot water or a way to use the stove- I still made a call to Michael’s -explain to them what was going on and they came first thing in the morning. They said there was No reason for us to have to replace the entire line only the damaged pipe! My Bill ended up being less than $900!! They waited for Atmos to show and get my gas turned on and then lit my pilot light as well on water heater. You want a company that is honest and fair? That is what you will get from Michaels Master Plumbing.

New water heater installation - showed up right on time and finished in less than an hour. Their people and work are always top notch. Highly recommend!

Michael himself actually did the repair. My gas was turned off due to an outside gas leak and we knew the cold weather was coming. Michael's company came up first so I called. 100% Professional in saying he would be there and arrived on time. Phillip stopped by to give me an estimate on several plumbing jobs. He explained what was wrong with my 4th bathroom sink. Since we don't use it much, I decided to wait on that job. While he was here, he repaired a rocking toilet and charged me nothing for the repair job or the estimate.

We had a gas leak and I called them at 7:00am they were at the house by 8:00am to start the work. They solved the issue and even got the required permit from the city the same day so that my wife would have hot water over the weekend. I found Michael on the Nextdoor app. He had several rave reviews and our bathroom was flooding. He immediately answered the phone after normal hours. He gave us great advice on how to get through the night without any further damage. Of course, my not so handy husband had done everything he told us not to do. Lol. I had been struggling with water temperatures in my home that were not consistent or hot enough consistently for dishes, laundry, and showers.

Michael came to my home to do an assessment free of charge, and discovered that my two water heaters were not working in conjunction with each other properly. He explained what he thought was wrong, adjusted the knobs on both, and went on his way.

Several years ago after my husband passed away I had to locate a plumber for my washing machine was backing up into my bathtub. Called Several plumbers -- didn't like their time lines or what they wanted to charge for various things and didn't seem to know what the issue was either. Located Michael and HE was so KNOWLEDGEABLE and Friendly. The weather was very rainy but he came out -- got on my roof IN THE POURING RAIN-- cleaned out the vent stacks on the roof -- and I have never had another issue! AND The prices was very reasonable! 👍😊 The other plumbers sure did NOT think of this fix or suggest this as a remedy. Thank goodness for an HONEST PLUMBER! Since then if I have a plumbing issue I call Michael's Master Plumbing -- like needing a new garbage disposal. Even his employees are super duper as well! Years ago my husband had installed taller handicapped toilets for each bathroom. Since then they have needed the inside parts in the tanks replaced and outside handles so they operate more efficiently.
