As far as I know Graf does not subcontract, so you have the peace of mind knowing their workers are professionals. Since I have had many people work on certain things in my home I have become very wary of companies that subcontract their work.

Now to the particulars.
I had two wobbly toilets and believed the issue to be with the flanges, since i didn't want to try to fix it myself because i would probably create more problems I called them. Adrian came out took the toilets off and the problem was a backfill issue around the flange. He worked diligently to fix the issue. The cost was 430.15 whick I believe to be a vey reasonable cost of the work.

EMERGENCY SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THEIR SPECIALTY. Don't have that on your website if you cannot service emergencies.

I had broken my water softner hitting it with the lawnmower and it was leaking. Called Graf and they sent someone within an hour. Explained the problem was the softner helped me bypass the system and didn't even charge. That's quality service, friendly, and honest. Thank you.

These folks are the best in the area, I call them for all my plumbing needs. I needed information on work that was done to my house before I owned it and they dug it up for me. They went into their attic and dug out files that were 20 years old to show me the pictures. They earned a loyal customer that day. I have used them for multiple repairs since and they have always delivered a quality service and product, along with excellent customer service.

Mr Jimmy Zamora was the technician and he was extremely helpful and friendly and fixed the problem. I would definitely use this company again.

Yesterday we had an emergency leak outside our house. City said it was on our side so I needed a plumber. I called two with no answer/response. Graf answered right away and had someone over within 2 hours. Jimmy was very professional and got to work quickly. He resolved the issue with ease and a smile on his face. I will absolutely use this company from now on for any plumbing issues I may have in the future! Price was fair and service was awesome!

I am giving 1 star because of the service from the front office. The guy they sent was very professional, knowledgeable,did a great job and was very fast. For me, he was a perfect example as to how a plumber should be.

Now....lets get to the front office. Even though the pricing is very fair, she was not totally upfront with me on the phone when I called her this morning. She failed to inform me that they also charge for drive time to the residence. The gentleman who arrived had to explain that to me when I got my invoice. Drive time ended up cost me an extra $22.00. When my wife called to confirm that they actually charge you for drive time, the lady got rude with my wife and told her that it was regular in the industry. When my wife asked how come they don't inform clients about this when they call so there are no surprises, the lady then told my wife that if she had concerns, then she needed to speak to the owner. REALLY... is it that hard to tell somebody that there once the plumber is headed your way, that is when the charges start so there is no confusion and feelings of deceit that could cause problems for their plumber???

Now....I just called TWO places randomly here in town that are twice as far away and neither charge for drive time. One gave me a flat rate for the job I needed done which was a little higher than what I paid, BUT the second place only charges $1 hour more and no drive time. Isn't that something??? I can call two random places and they don't charge for drive time and the lady at Graf Plumbing tells me that it is industry standard. Doesn't seem so standard to me. Next time, I will call the 2nd company if I need a plumber again and will refer anybody I know to the 2nd company as well and to stay away from Graf Plumbing. A simple sorry for the misunderstanding could of prevented this negative review and brought more business in the future, but according to the lady, this is what the owner wants, so be it. I run my own company and would fire someone who is treating my clients that way.

I'm a do-it-yourselfer to the max, but when I failed to clean out my clogged drain after several hours of work, I left a message on the Graf Plumbing Inc. website. They called me first thing the next morning after they opened and worked around my schedule. Richard and AJ showed up less than 30 minutes after the call and cleaned everything out. They even helped me with another issue while they were here and gave me some tips for avoiding the same problems in the future. It was fast and friendly service from start to finish. I highly recommend these guys.

I guess this company has all the work it can handle. I was scheduled for an estimate today from 1-3pm and at 4 pm I called and was told that the Estimator had been called away for an emergency. I asked why I was not called and advised of this since I had been waiting since 1 pm for them to arrive. All Julie could say was I DO apologize. Well the thing is ......THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS COMPANY HAS DONE ME THIS WAY and I told her that much..........BUT, I did say it will be the LAST.

My suggestion to you as a consumer............GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.........I AM.

Contacted Graf Plumbing for an issue with clogged drains in our bathroom. Victor called ahead of time and showed up to our house right on time. He was extremely professional and friendly, and fixed our clogging problem quickly. When he was done I asked him to take a look at a water pressure issue which I had forgot to mention. He took some extra time to figure out what was causing the issue and promptly fixed it for us as well. I'm the curious type so i was watching and asking questions the entire time, he was a super good sport and answered all my questions. Highly recommend Graf Plumbing and will use them for any future issues we encounter.

We contacted Graf Plumbing late Saturday night and they were at house fixing our issue first thing Sunday morning. We highly recommend their services and will use them for future plumbing issues.

Water leak in foundation. Victor and JP (2 guys for 1 man job). To investigate and find leak. Assured me that knew which line was leaking. Cut line at water heater blocked line both ends. No cold water to kitchen. Told me would be $500 to route line to kitchen (10’). I told them maybe later I would do w/o cold water on kitch for now. Chargers were for 2 men $522.37 for 2 1/2 hours. Water leak at foundation still leaking, called talk to Julie and she had Victor call me. He said he wasn’t able today but for me to call Graf and make appointment for tomorrow. I asked if there was going to be same repair or if they would charge again because they didn’t find leak and didn’t repair. Yes, new job, new charges. I ask if they would send 2 men, Victor said yes that’s normal. I’m out $522.37 and still have same water leak. I’m veteran and 79 years old on social security. No service, no rush, no guarantees on their work. Unless your independently wealthy don’t call Graf.

I have used this company in the past and they were a little over priced but did decent work. The front office that answers the phones is extremely rude as I recently tried to schedule an appointment on one of my rental properties they previously worked on. Because I live 2.6 hrs away the lady answered the phone said they would not go to the property unless I was there for them to do a estimate. I explained they had worked on the home before and it was again vacant. The previous work done was when the home was vacant as well. The lady was rude and said They might go or they may not go. That is a terrible way to handle business. I would strongly recommend going with another plumber. As a company owner its vary unprofessional to not give a date and time when a appointment can be set versus just throwing it up in the air. I will never do business with this poorly run company again.

AJ rocks! Called Graf this morning, they were able to fit us in today. AJ was fast, friendly and professional. So glad he came out. We now have a new plumbings company. Honestly can't say enough good things.

Several years ago, I had an emergency on Sunday night after 9:00. I called the plumbing company I have used for years and was told someone would be there soon. After more than an hour, no one had come or called. I looked in the phone book for other plumbers who worked 24/7 and found Graf Plumbing. Someone was at my house in less than 30 minutes. The plumber not only fixed the problem, but stayed and mopped up all the water for me.

I have used Graf ever since and have been pleased with the work every time they have come to my house.

We had Dennis out yesterday to unstop our kitchen sink & he did a fantastic job! He did everything to make sure we were satisfied. Dennis was so nice & very proficient. We will call Graf for all of our future plumbing needs & will recommend them to everyone we know.

10 months ago Graf came to replace the water shut off valve on my house and that costs $160. They were there for an hour and only fixed a water flow valve on my kitchen sink, and said the city had to come out to fix the water shut off valve by the street before they could fix the one by the house. I was finally able to have Graf come back out two days ago and they charged me $100 and said the water shut off valve by the street still had to be fixed and it was the City’s fault. They only fixed the water valve on the faucet in my bathroom. So I called the City and they came out the same day, dug out the box holding the water shut off valve and moved it back. Then I called Graf and told them it worked all along and I want the water shut off valve by my house fixed. They came back out that same day and charged $205 from Graf for parts and an another hour of labor. The water shut off valve by the house finally got fixed $465 later. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE GRAF PLUMBING AGAIN!!!!

I used their services last week!! Not only were they punctual but they did a good job!! Plus I received a 10% discount!! I will definitely use their services in the future since I am renovating my home!!

Haha....Love your recent response trying to minimize what you guys did to me and my tenant....you guys rescheduled me 3 times. I waited two weeks for my first appointment, then it was rescheduled the morning of my appointment to about a week out, then rescheduled again the morning of for another week out. Then, again...unbelievable. I waited over a month for a huge water leak. Thank goodness, I went with someone else. My tenant, who is a single mother and has a little daughter, had to move out of their apartment for over a month at Christmas time because the water was shut off waiting for you guys. And this is how you guys treated me after working with you guys for over 10 years. Seriously upsetting and sick.

I needed a plumber quick, as i work in an Emergency Shelter setting, i looked up all 24/7 plumbing companies and a few answered but would take hours to get to us, Called Graf, gave them my information and was told the plumber would call me back. Victor called me back and was there quick, mind you we needed help In Portland area. Very professional on the phone and job was done quick. Very happy with the service and would recommend for anyone. Richard did a great job repairing our leak today. We had a leak on a fitting just downstream of the water meter.

Richard said that it would take about 2 hours for him to finish another job and that he would call when on his way. He was also up front about the hourly rate since it was Memorial Day. It was almost exactly 2 hours when he headed to our house.

He was very professional and fixed the leak in about an hour. We will definitely use Graf Plumbing again when we have another plumbing need.

David was very knowledgeable about two separate plumbing issues in our home. He took the time to explain the repairs to us and completely them in a timely manner.

Called and scheduled appointment, they never showed up. Never called. Not reliable.

David with Graf Plumbing did a great job. He replaced several bathroom fixtures, a kitchen faucet, and repaired leaky shower and ice maker valve. Graf was quick to get David out to our home with next day service. We are very satisfied with the work and we will call them again for plumbing issues.

I received the professional, courteous quality work I always get with Graf Plumbing. However J.D. and Joe were beyond expectations. I was charged $210 just for them to come and look at my problems. No service was done. I just read in a response by the owner that they offer free estimates. What the hell. The technician told me I would receive an email by the end of business day with an estimate. It was never received. No one has called. (btw - i did not receive a text before their arrival yesterday as mentioned when I booked it and as mentioned in other reviews...receptionist was short) I am now 24 hours without hot water since they turned it off.

Dennis was extremely courteous and professional. I appreciated his positive demeanor and patience answering all of my questions. The service and timeliness of Graf Plumbing makes them worth every penny of the cost to fix the plumbing issue.

Graf Plumbing offers excellent service. We called last Friday, June 3rd because of a stopped up kitchen sink to try to set up an appointment~~and they sent someone out in less than an hour. We were definitely impressed and will continue to give them our business in the future if needed.

The plumber they sent me and the quality of their work was excellent. Showed up on time and got started right away on a larger job. The only problem I have is that they only sent one plumber on a large job. So the job took 9 hrs vs 5 hrs if they would have sent more. Costing me an extra $400 and $110 an hour, they do give a 10 dollar an hour military discount, but $90 vs a possible $400 saving is frustrating it feels they do this for the purpose of raising the cost. Graf Plumbing does excellent work but are expensive, recommend if you have a medium or bigger sized project look elsewhere. Too Expensive.

Jonathan was prompt and very patient explaining what had to be done. I am always ready to call Graf if I need any plumbing help.

These guys are great. Have used them repeatedly over the last couple of years. First time was as a second opinion to another plumbing co saying I needed thousands of dollars worth of repair. These guys came in and fixed the problem for $100. Two years later it is still not a problem. Have used them repeatedly since at my primary home and rental properties and am more impressed with them every time. They are pros and also give great customer service and stand by their work.

We have used Graf Plumbing for some years, most recently today when David came to install a new faucet. As Graf personnel always are, he was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. The job was completed quickly and expertly. I highly recommend Graf for anyone needing plumbing services!

Graf plumbing responded quickly and made the necessary repairs. What I didn't like was the plumber had to go get parts. I was charged $110.00 an hour while he went to 2 plumbing supply companies looking for the parts. How about calling ahead to see if the parts are available... But that's just what I would have done. He was gone well over an hour.

They showed up when the dispatcher said they would. They fixed the problem quickly. Fair price. Highly recommended.

The best plumbers we have ever used. They show up ready to work and tackle any problem with a can do attitude. Make helpful suggestions that are above and beyond and carry out their tasks efficiently. Polite and professional. They explained things along the way and did a final walk through to make sure we understood the work they'd completed. Respectful of your property and clean up after they are done. They take pride in their work and it shows. Will definitely use again.

We had a new dishwasher installed only to find the shut off valve at the heater would not reopen once it was closed. We also had lost all water pressure at the kitchen sink. Thanks to Richard, after 2.5 hours of hard work refitting a new valve to the hot water heater and repairs to the kitchen sink, we are now back up and running. Thank you Richard and Graf Plumbing.

Fast and friendly service . Jimmy was very friendly had the job done fast. I had called another plumbing company and got an estimate of over $900.00 dollars. I paid Graf plumbing $329.00 . I had two toilets , one flange and two shut off valves and hoses. ( I supplied just the two new toilets)

Their service was excellent and the plumber, Shaun, was very friendly and did a good job fixing very old plumbing faucets.

Graf plumbing was helpful in our sewer design. They were available in less than 2 days and thoughally discussed all options till we felt comfortable in the design. We made a decision to use Graf plumbing and couldn’t have been happier with their service.

I called Graf plumbing to come over to my house and repair a slow draining tub and a loose commode. Victor solved the slow draining tub issue by removing a hair clog (Yuck) and when he removed the toilet bowl to level and tighten it up he found a flange that was too high from the floor. He lowered the flange and secured it under the house so it wouldn't happen again. This toilet has come loose from the floor two times and now we know why.

My mother has been using Graf for many years. Very reliable great company great personnel They are very friendly.

We have recently done many renovations to our home, and have dealt with several local plumbing companies. Graf has been hands-down the best. Every employee who came to the house was pleasant to work with, especially Jesse and Jonathan. Their knowledge and expertise, timeliness, and good attitudes made our reno much smoother. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

I called and scheduled an estimate because my bath tub was leaking. This was an urgent matter. I was told I would be called ahead of time before the estimator got to my house and I was never called or informed of anything untill I called them. Then I was given a quote by the estimator and was told they would prepare a written quite a week later I was called asking for my email even though that was provided twice already. Very unorganized prices are outrageously to high. Would not recommend.

I had a leak. I called them up. Within hours it was fixed. All on the same day. Ok so what’s so special about that; isn’t that what’s supposed to happen? If you’ve needed a plumber recently you can appreciate how stressful that process is. It’s simple; it’s just not easy. Graf sent “AJ” over to fix my problem. We had an appointment for Thursday, had to call for ETA. Julie sd bcuz they were busy, we got rescheduled to Monday. I asked Manager, why wouldn't the people scheduled on Friday get bumped to Monday instead & she couldn't explain. In so many words, I let her know that's not good Customer Service.

Manager then sent a guy out Friday to estimate. He walked around for 30 minutes & left. Never heard anything back. Now here we are Monday a.m. & still no estimate or explanation on why the whole process is taking days. Asked for Owner, only go to leave a msg but NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK. They end up emailing an outrageous estimate, making us think, they may not know how to fix the problem or perhaps they just don't want the business ... either way we went with Royal Plumbing to get the job done :)

Jeremy was fantastic! They were able to change my appointment on little notice to accommodate my schedule. Jeremy showed up on time and was very professional. Will only use Graf Plumbing for any future needs or issues!

After hours call for water leak in my front yard. Graf sent a repair tech within an hour of the call. Mario identified the problem, fixed the leak and even re-planted some garden plants he had to remove to get to the mud-covered pipe! Nicely done, Graf plumbing! Special shout-out to Mario for making a non-issue of what could have been a big issue. Reasonably priced, quick and courteous.

Second time using Graf Plumbing, such a great company! Office staff are always nice (appreciate the confirmation call with plumber's name when on the way). Victor arrived on time, was very thorough checking out a shower noise, and explained the issue in a way I could understand.

Jimmy was here not too long ago to connect my gas stove. He showed up exactly when the office staff said he would & was very courteous & professional. I will definitely call Graf Plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs.

Needed very simple shower repair. Very responsive..showed up in less than an hour from my initial call. My issue was with the total bill. The repair took the plumber roughly 30 minutes on site. He was gone ‘to get parts’ roughly 2 hours. At $128/hour that’s about $250 to go get parts. I get travel time has to be accounted for but that’s ridiculous.

Graft plumbing came out unstopped my sink. I’m very happy with service.

Richard came to fix defective faucet. He was very polite and professional. He kept the area clean while working. Good experience.

Richard was very pleasant and did a great job as usual. We have used and will continue to use Graf Plumbing for future plumbing needs.

I was referred by my friend to this company and it did a repair on my plumbing leak and was promptly paid. However, It did not repair the leak. When I called them back to correct the problem, they were either too busy or would promise to send someone to repair. They never did. I was so tired of waiting and called another company.

Richard came out and fixed a complex series of clogs. He also gave advice on how to keep the backwater issue from needing additional help in the future. I appreciate that!

Jeremy and Shawn arrived on time, expeditiously replaced my broken main water shut-off valve, cleaned the job site and presented a very reasonable bill and full explanation of all costs. JD from Graf plumbing came to our house on a Saturday. He did a great job fixing a difficult leak at our house. He explained everything in detail and was very knowledgeable for the issue that caused the leak. He cleaned everything up and had us back up and running in no time. I would recommend these guys for sure.

Who ever answers the phone needs training in customer service. I called and I was told “please hold one second” like 4 times in a 2 minute span. Called later to schedule, and I was put on hold again, this time once.

David from Graf Plumbing worked on plumbing problems at our residence yesterday. He replaced our garbage disposal, replaced facets in a bedroom sink and repaired the kitchen facet. David was very knowledgeable and professional. He displayed a willingness to get the task done right with utmost attention to detail. Mario was on time for the appointment. He fixed the stopped up plumbing lines quickly. And, the price was very reasonable. Besides the excellent service Mario provided, I also want to show my appreciation for the really nice office staff who answer the phones and make the appointments. After getting quotes from almost ten plumbers to have a water softener system installed, we ultimately went with Graf and we couldn’t be happier about the service and quality of work. Julie was awesome at getting back to us and setting up an appointment and Johnny did a fantastic job at the install. One thing to note, every other plumber said we couldn’t put the system in the garage because of where the water main was and Johnny was able to do it for even less money than some of the others. I can’t recommend Graf enough! They are great!

I have used Graf Plumbing, a 2nd generation business, since I had a reroute in 1996. They are very professional; showing up when they say the will, doing the work right the 1st time and very fair on pricing (sometimes I have even suggested they charge more.) I have referred several friends to them through the years with no complaints. I highly recommend Graf Plumbing.

The attached pic was taken today with their video camera, showing where roots (yellow string-like in color) had broken into a waste water pipe. While they had previously punched a hole through the clog with a rotor-rooter machine bit, I realize I still have to permanently fix this below foundation leak.

We have used their services before and both times they did a good job. Professional and very polite. We would call them again if we need services.

Jonathan was punctual and thorough explaining his way through the process of clearing a tough clog. Graf has given me excellent service today and with plumbing issues in the past. Great pluming company. They fixed the problem on the spot.

Did a good job, however plumber arrived at 8:45 AM and left at 10 AM but handed me invoice for 2.5 hours and for $275. Not sure why I received invoice for 2.5 hours when plumber was on site for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Dennis with Graf Plumbing came same day as our request and helped solve a tricky clogged drain problem. He was very polite and work was done to out satisfaction.

The guys explain what they will be doing and are always very fast. I've even used them for my home recently and they helped my husband out in a short time as well. What I thought would be a simple do it yourself job turned out to be a royal nightmare. I decided to call in a professional when I literally had to disassemble the fittings behind the sink to try & find the clog myself. Shawn from Graf plumbing fixed my issue with much ease & compassion. He was also very informative about any future issues I might end up encountering & what to do/not to do in the event anything else should happen. Prompt service, all problems explained to me as they remedied them. Really courteous and efficient plumbers... just the standard mark-up on parts made me say ouch, but I'm sure that is industry wide. Graf is now my Go To plumbing company!

Arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule which I loved! Plumber didn't waste anytime getting to work and fixing the drains! Would definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced.
