Dover Plumbing

We used this company before awhile back and wanted to use them again for some projects around the house. The plumbers show up and spend a good 30 minutes talking on their phones, doing whatever-while charging by the hour. We supplied the faucets that we wanted to change out in both of our upstairs bathrooms but was told one of the boxes was missing the drain stop. We also wanted them to check and fix any leaking valves under the sinks but was told since it’s welded to the knob they’d have to cut a hole in the wall and fix it that way - No thank you. They did however fix a running toilet upstairs but since the rest of the projects did not get completed as hoped what should have only taken one hour ended up costing almost $500 for two hours of “work”. This was a disappointing service and we will go with someone else next time.

Our family has used this company for a very long time. I personally have used them for the past 30 years or so. Never had an issue Today was no different, and frankly, is my experience with the Company from scheduling, arrival time, quality of work, respectful and professional attitudes from all. I have not used, nor will I use another. I am most definitely NOT a professional reviewer as I very seldom do leave them.In summary, Guy and Mitchell arrived right on time, went directly to the line, cleaned it out (100ft run), cleaned the work area after the task, package up the equipment, presented the bill, and were on their way. I sincerely hope no one in Houston finds themselves in need of a plumber at 2:00 a.m. on a Monday morning but we did last night. I randomly searched for a 24-hour plumber on the internet and found Dover Plumbing. They immediately answered and got to my house within an hour (I live all the way up in Kingwood). They were at my house fixing a busted pipe that was gushing from the ceiling into my kitchen from 3 am to 6 am and did a tremendous job at a fair price. I highly recommend this company.

This company fixed a leak water pipe on the outside of my house several months ago. Yesterday I noticed that it was leaking again. By the way, this is the 4th leak in this same pipe. The plumber says that the lawn guys are hitting it with the lawn mower. i said i would pay extra to get it fixed so this couldn't happen. I admit that i used a few choice words when the guy started talking to me like i was an idiot woman. Then he said he would fix it for free. He drove away, and never returned. At about 4pm on fri night i called to find out what was happening. They had decided not to do the job, but didn't bother to call and tell me. The woman who i talked to on the phone said that it was my language that did it, since the owner is a Pastor. I guess i just got too much of being treated badly. I hope other older women don't have similar experiences with workmen.

Honest professionals and extremely quick in fixing the issues. Super happy with them. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest good work.
