AC failed on the weekend and they came out right away. Parts store was closed so they provided a portable unit for the weekend and were there Monday morning with the part so we were up and running right away. Awesome job.
We had a new A/C unit installed. 1.5 years later the unit flooded the attic and water drained through the ceiling into the kitchen and pantry. We did not get an extended warranty and thus only had the 1 year warranty. I'm fine with this, we refused the offer and took our chances. So we paid $1000's for the repair to the attic, sheetrock, paint, replaced float switches etc. to fix the unit.
Less than 8 months later the same thing happened again. Bodine-Scott refused to pay for the damage. Refused to pay for the repair of the float switch and when we had a alternate company look at the work they did they found the float switches, which are supposed to shut the unit down for a specific case like this were improperly installed. Bodie-Scott still refuses to pay for damages. Additionally they would not come to repair the unit for a week, with water leaking through the ceiling into light fixtures we told them this was unacceptable. They still would not send a technician for a week. Terrible company. Terrible service. Terrible customer care after they take your money.

We got same day service although I called in the afternoon. The tech that came by was prompt and professional. He diagnosed and fixed the problem with our AC in about 30 minutes. I can recommend this company without reservation.

No honor! Backed out of a contract! You should be embarrassed, and ashamed! All you had to do was work on a Saturday, but I guess two new subdivisions are more important! Bad form!!!!

We had a brand new house built in 2021...when we had a warranty on the house we had to have a technician come out because the air wasn't coming out evenly throughout the house...the most important rooms which are our master bedroom and master closet. He did whatever with a laptop I believe and all.was good just for a few months. Now it's back to not cooling the master bedroom and closet hardly at all!!! I've had a few older rent houses that never ever had this kinda trouble...embarrassing really. Today's products and craftsmanship suck today!!

Kelby was great. He showed up about 30 minutes after I called on a Sunday evening. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. Also found out the system was low on freon and took care of that. He explained what he had found and what he had done. Can't say enough good things about this service call.
I attempted to utilize a different company who was rude and gave me the run around. They told me they could not come out until Monday. I called Bodiene Scott. Right away, I got a call back from Luis. He was so helpful and understanding. Assured me someone would be out same day. The tech, Steve, called and informed me he was on his way and was accurate with his arrival time. He was great! He did a thorough job and explained to us what happened. There was no hidden cost. The service and repair was very affordable. People BEWARE, this company will price gouge on parts. Tried selling me a generic blower motor, which the repairman was ignorant of the fact the blower motor needed to be programmed, I found the correct blower motor for 250.00 cheaper, not generic, but original replacement. I do not recommend or trust this company. The internet is a wonderful tool, do your research before they come on service call.

This company is excellent. Very honest. Very knowledgeable. I had a different AC company quote me $4000 for a new compressor, but they recommended I replace everything (all equipment on the roof and the handler) for nearly $14,000. Then along comes Abel from Bodine-Scott. He checked the equipment on the roof. He also pulled a bunch of wires from the handler and tested them. The other company did not test these handler wires. Abel declared our compressor is in good working order. He then replaced the thermostat on the wall for a mere $250. We now have cold air. I need to add this company to my Christmas list!!

I have had the Bodine Scott Plumbing department diagnose my newly purchased home. They found a few leaks, fixed them, and upon further investigation I found my water heater needed to be replaced. When they were replacing it, they found that some electrical wires were shorting out to the water heater. Once all this was cleared up, my electrical bill dropped $400 and now I can take a hot shower without having to wait very long at all. I will definitely use these guys again, they have a great sense of humor!

My family just purchased a house and the AC “went out”. It was on a Friday evening and I have a 6 month old baby, so this was a very inconvenient time for us. We called home warranty company and their systems were down. Luckily our neighbors knew that our AC had just been replaced less than a year ago and was still under warranty with Bodine Scott. Bodine Scott sent a repair man out the next morning (very early) and he helped get our house back to cool temps! Turns out it was the moisture switch! The repair man was very polite and gave me a lot of tips on ACs and being a homeowner. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

If my builder didn't through them I would not dill with them. They came on a Friday. Needed to order a part so that was supposed to happen on Monday. Called Tuesday to find out when to expect the part to show and it is now Thursday and there has not been an update. I understand sometimes parts are hard to get but not letting me know an estimated time is upsetting. To top it off the service guy did not recommend running the AC and it is the one the runs the mane part of the house and my kids rooms. Really people all you needed to do was pick up the phone and say your part is expected on this date and we expect to be able to service your system shortly after.

Great respectful tech. Got us patched up until he was able to return after dye ran its course and to bring replacement parts.
Customer service however needs to work on getting the customer a better ETA. Twice they were way off on eta, left work earlier than needed.

Without a doubt, this is the absolute best a/c company around. My a/c went out and they had a technican there the next morning who repaired it. They care about the customer and it shows. The technicians are top-notch!
I guess I learned the hard way! This company seems to have good reviews on plumbing jobs but my repair was to my a/c. After the technician cleaned my evap coil and put the unit back together it cooled the house after a few hours. Problem is the compressor never shuts down, even when set temp is reached! They sent the tech back to recheck everything and their service manager also showed up. After about 30 minutes of their adjustments and checks the manager assured me the unit is working PROPERLY. However when I asked if it shuts down when set temp is reached he admitted that it did not. They tell me that they did everything they could and DO NOT KNOW what else to do. THERE YOU HAVE IT! THEY KNOW NOT WHAT TO DO. I am trying out a new company tomorrow and will write this off to my failure to check out a contractor before hiring them. BODINE SCOTT HAS AIR CONDITIONING in its name, but as their manager tells me, they KNOW NOT WHAT TO DO!!! Use this company at your own risk - they may be very good at what they KNOW but that does not include air conditioning!!

I just want to say, big shout out to Ryan Wyatt and his helper for coming out to my pops house at 8pm to finish the job.
They came and fixed my central a/c after being without a/c for all the weekend. It was a simple fix and they got the job done in 30 minutes. Appreciate the professionalism and the fast work. A/c is cold and I am happy customer, I will definitely be using the service again.
Called when noticed inside unit not running. Someone came to my house within about an hour and explained the problem and made repairs efficiently.

I wish I could give Bodine Scott 5 stars but they installed a brand new Carrier system inside and out 1 month ago today. So far they have come out twice. They were called out because the unit was not cooling and discovered a pin-hole leak in my brand new coils ouside about a week ago. So they saudered it to seal. A few days ago they were called out for another issue of not cooling and discovered that we were 1 lb. Short of refrigerant. How??? They claimed they found no leaks and just added to lb back in. Clearly we just paid thousands of dollars for a defective unit. I am very disappointed. I feel as though we got a lemon unit. We replaced our old Amana that had a pin hole leak in the evaporator coil. This was confirmed by several companies. All stated that we were 2 to 3 lbs low on refrigerant. Keep in mind we still never had issues with it not cooling, even with 2 to 3 lbs missing. It was discovered during preventative maintenance. Upon cost analysis we decided to just upgrade and replace to a newer better model. Even though we have a 1 year parts and labor warranty it does not comfort me when I just keep thinking this is a bad unit, this is a defective unit. I feel as though they are putting bandaids over the real issue. How many issues need to arise before we can ask for them to switch out this bad unit for a better one. Your warranty is only as good as your product...I feel we may have screwed over. It's my fault really. I thought the A+ better business rating meant something. My mother replaced her unit for less a week before ours with a mom and pop company that are friends of the family. But Nooo. I had to go for the seemingly reputatable company Bodine Scott. Now she is cool in her house and I worry everyday. I have zero piece of mind. Also I am terrified to see my next full electricity bill. This new ac has been running non-stop to keep up with all the deficiencies. The only good thing I can say is that they did come out right away when called. I guess I was just hoping with a brand new system only 1 month old installed that maybe I would not have to. Deeply sadded and feeling ripped off. If for some reason my review actually gets read then I would Bodine Scott to know that I would like them to replace my unit with a unit that doesn't need so much repair in the first month.

Called about mold around my ducting system . I set up a appointment to come out and look at it same day ... went over my warranty over the phone and very nice and attentive to my concerns . Called out a tech to show and then called back to reschedule with a senior specialist named Greg . He came out performed a full inspection and gave a detailed report . On my path forward and his detailed findings. Saved me a ton of money . Very very satisfied . Highly recommend to anyone . These people are professionals and great at what they do with the highest reguard for customer service .

I called this company on Sunday 8/6/23 however no tech was available to come to my home so I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning.
They came 8/8/23 and tech put dye in the system to try to find leak in my ac unit, charge was $266.
They came 8/10 tech couldn’t find leak no charge.
They came 8/12, 1 hr 15 mins late, tech didn’t know what he came to my home for, he didn’t bring uv light to check for leak, used my ladder without asking, then he was looking around in a bedroom with the light on his phone, I asked what he was doing in the bedroom and he said he was looking for the leak, then he left but I have 3 screws missing from my unit & he scratched my unit & he didn’t put back fuse outside. No charge. I was trying to call the company when I saw him in the bedroom to get more information on what happens if leak isn’t found and to verify tech Able actually worked for them however no one would answer the phone. I ended up texting them and the reply text states that my issue will be forwarded to the manager. On 8/14/23 I called to speak with manager and the manager was out of the office. I was able to verify that the tech did work for the company and was told the manager would call me back. I have not received a call from the manager and have now been without working AC for a week. Hope you don’t have an issue with this company because they don’t seam to return calls or be able to fix an ac. I recommend not using this company.

A/c stopped working and this company was very fast in diagnosing and fixing the problem over the weekend so we didn’t have to go without a/c in the middle of the summer. Great service. I own a 4plex. The a/c in one of the units was not cooling. I had been working with another contractor for 3 weeks who was not getting it fixed. When the tenant contacted me, again, on Sunday morning I decided to find another contractor. I remembered Bodine-Scott's jingle never charge overtime so I called them. They were out that day and diagnosed the problem and fixed it in an hour. I could not be more satisfied-- my tenant, too.

Within an hour of calling for a service appointment for an AC unit that wasn’t cooling, we had a technician at our house. We ended up having multiple little issues that needed repair, and the technician stayed for over an hour fixing and checking every single thing. He was very thorough and explained everything to my husband so he knows what to look out for in the future. We were very appreciative for the quick response and fast repair!
He tracked in dirt from cleaning the unit outside they should carry booties to go over shoes ,or do that last before you go also got insulation oll over from going in the attic. No attempt to clean I even put broom and dustpan right there before he finished.i asked him to put a new filter I left and he didn't so I did after he Left.

Paid $7,500 for brand new air conditioning system in our new home. It worked 2 weeks and went out. We are now on Day 5 of Summer heat with no air conditioning. They have been very polite to me in the 4 times I've called, but still no urgency to help us at all. I have never written a negative review, ever. I am a very positive, patient person. But this level of service is JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE at all. Very disappointed.

FYI, my little brother Gabriel Villarreal was ran off of the road on Friday Morning at about 11:30 AM 9/14/2018 Located Kostoryz going towards Staples. His vehicle was not because he drove off the road and did a bad curb check. When he called they stated that the individual in charge would call him back on Monday. When he was contacted they basically told him because there vehicle did not come in contact with his vehicle they were not responsible for anything. Please share this with friends and family. Because this could happen to you and or your loved ones, lucky for him he was not harmed in this cause but the next person my not be so lucky.

AC stop kooling in the condo. Called Bodine Scott AC and was amazed that I got service the same day. Shane checked out my unit. I was told last year, after a system check, that l needed to replace my 8 yr old AC. I had a second opinion and was told it is working good. I have not had any problems with it. They emailed a huge estimate of 1000.00's of dollars to replace it.You be the judge.

In April 2021 we got a new unit installed. The salesman that sold us the unit ended up selling a unit that would not work with our current thermostat. The installers literally through our old unit around the attic to the point where they broke our Internet cords. I work from home, on a computer, so internet is very much so needed. The installers would not go in the attic and see if they noticed any cords were damaged so my husband had to go into the attic and ended up falling through the roof because of all the debris and stuff the installers had thrown around. I understand that this is not a clean job but throwing our old unit around our attic and all of their trash is a bit ridiculous. We had settled out our bill with them and told them we would not be paying for the drywall repair because we shouldn’t have been in the attic seeing as the cord was cut by the installers throwing the old unit on the courts. It is currently 34° outside and I just went to turn on our heat and no heat is coming out. I just called to make an appointment for tomorrow I was told that they cannot service my house because there’s a $700 balance on my account. The balance on my account is due to the drywall repair that I had to pay. I am very disappointed in this company. When you pay $7400 for a brand new unit you would expect it to one work with your thermostat and to cool your house and three heat your house. I am hoping we can get on the phone and make this right but all I got was the runaround back in April.

Thought I had typed up a review. Great experience. Made an emergency call and was told it may be until at least noon. A tech called me shortly after 9 a.m. letting me know he was on his way. Knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Diagnosed my problem quickly and did not try to sell me on any additional services I did not need. He also took the time to educate me on future steps to keep my AC system happy and healthy.
Even though it was late in the evening, the technician was very courteous and responsive. And he fixed the AC quickly.

Our 14 year old AC that had never given us trouble quit working on a Friday in the middle of July, so I was in urgent need of cooling. I scheduled an install with a different, well reviewed company that I had very positive encounters with. But when my property manager son-in-law heard their estimate, he thought it was too high. I made calls on a Saturday for estimates to Bodine-Scott & a couple other companies for a bid. Karl at Bodine-Scott was the only other company to respond. He came over on Sunday and gave me an estimate that was $4000 less than the other estimate with a comparable system, and offered to install it the next day, Monday. The installers (I wish I could remember their names) were at our house as scheduled and installed units inside and outside (inside being the attic on a day when it was 90 degrees outside- it had to be 110 in the attic). They were so nice. The lead installer gave up a day off to do our job. They were finished by 5:00 and you’d never know they had been there, except that our house was cool.
Amazingly responsive which I really needed in this “emergency”. I can’t say enough about how well this went, (except that I have their jingle stuck in my head now). If you want a good price with straight talk about what you need (and don’t need) in an air conditioning system from a company with excellent customer service, this is the place.
7/22/21 I’m adding a review following cleaning our clothes dryer duct & vents. Again, 5 ⭐️ in all respects. I texted them late at night through their website asking if they performed this service. I got a reply next morning including their rate of $125/hour. Good news for me I got a 10% discount because I had a maintenance agreement (inexpensive & covers a seasonal a/c exam twice/ year).
I wanted to diy this project but couldn’t get into the wall duct due to the kind of box that was installed in the wall. Our duct goes through the attic & out the roof. We were getting a new dryer on 7/23. They were able to come out on 7/22 -just 2 days after I called. They, of course, had a machine that made quick work of the chore. The tech had to cut through the duct in the attic & then repair it - still charged the same hourly rate in the original quote. He did it all in less than an hour.

Our Air-conditioning went out on Wednesday. We had Bodine-Scott A/C come out to check out our unit. The service tech did a very thorough check and it was determined to be compressor failure. At this point I started reaching out to get bids on replacing both inside and outside units. The company I have used for over thirty years said it would be about two weeks before they could come out but would email their bid. Next company was quite different, the salesman was so aggressive that it scared me off, a little too aggressive. Company three, the person that answered my call was helpful but a little on the rude side. Back to Bodine-Scott, the service tech put me in contact with the Manager Karl Christmas and that’s when things started happening. He came by on his way home from work and got the information from both units and said he would sent me his proposals that night. He sent the proposals, 3 units to choose from with very simple language and was easy to understand. We chose the units that would meet our needs and got back with Karl. He handled the paperwork like a true professional and got me scheduled the next day. The installers were very professional and to be quite honest very hard workers in this blazing 🥵 heat. House cooled down very fast and now it’s cold again. We had a house that was at 82-87 without A/C. Thanks again to Karl Christmas and Earnest and Robert the installers.

Our maintenance guy that came out was VERY HELPFUL and very knowledgeable about our system that we have. I think his name was Kelby. I highly recommend this company. they came out within an hour. very professional..
Had a technician come out twice to put refrigerant in a unit due to a leak. The first time they charged me per pound at 65 dollars. Put 7 pounds for $460. Agreed upon no problem. A few weeks later needed just a few pounds to get through another weekend before a scheduled repair with a separate company.
And once the tech gets there I'm told a service fee that I didn't have the first time around and wasn't disclosed to me when scheduling is tacked on to the bill of an additional $129. Probably because it was a smaller job. But no one ever told me or I would have just shopped around or ended up waiting out the weekend.
Fast, kind and dependable
Bodine-Scott originally installed my A/C unit and have been consistent in their services. We had a slight mix up over the past week on the replacement of parts, but the technicians; Tony, Gilbert, and Juan, along with Betty (dispatching) were able to get our home cool and comfortable again while remaining respectful of my schedule. Google only allows you to rate at 5 stars but I would give these guys a 10 if possible. Thank you!

I will never use your company again! Your company is price gouging. It's unfortunate that your company installed my air condition unit in my new home. How do you charge $45 dollars a pound for freon when it goes for $130 for 25lbs? Your company put in a faulty unit that is leaking and don't want to make it right! Instead y'all want to charge me!?! I am not at all happy that I called them out and paid $200 for a service call and then diagnostic. Only to tell me my entire system needed to be replaced and nothing could be done. This is on a Saturday so that means no ac until the I could get a quote from a sales guy and then nothing would be started until at least Monday and I was looking at several thousand dollars. After not hearing from sales for several hours, I decided to get a second opinion from another company. That company only charged $65 and was able to repair the unit for $500. Needless to say, I'm not happy with Bodine Scott and feel that I wasted $200 and was being scammed into buying a new unit AND new compressor.

Highly recommend Bodine Scott Air Conditioning! Their service is above and beyond any other AC company I've dealt with. Not to mention the timely manner they're completing our repairs. Get on board with the Smart One Contract. It's the best investment we've made for our AC system.
We contracted with Bodine-scott to install a condenser billed at a rate $125/hr, they estimated an 8hr job. The tech arrived and quickly replaced the unit, I had to provide the flushing products as he did not have any with home nor any nitrogen. He attempted to flush the unit from the outside which did not work and was ready to start it up. I did not hear nor see a vacuum pump so I asked what was the vacuum reading he achieved, at that point he installed the vacuum pump and could not get below 950, moreover the readings kept fluctuating, indicating a leak. He did not flush the line set correctly, did not pressure and leak test the line set nor did he vacuum the system. If I had not intervened in time and knew about AC service, my brand new condenser would have been ruined within weeks. They sent another tech to finish the job. Moreover they billed me for 14hrs, when the tech was on the job less than 6 hrs, I contacted them and complained, they adjusted the hours and billing accordingly and I paid it promptly. Now they do not want to WARRANTY their work!

I had a great experience with Bodine Scott. They were very professional. Watching the technician trouble shoot the heat pump unit left me no doubt that he knew what he was doing. Returned home from a very tiring business trip and needed service on my warranty covered air conditioner. Called in the trouble with the expectation of several days till I would be cool again. However, made the call at about 8 pm and by 10 pm my air was running again. I felt like I was in the Bodine Scott TV commercial. The technician (Jordan) was prompt, precise, and most important friendly. When I called this morning (8 am) to comment and thank them for the service, the same friendly operator answered the phone (do you people sleep). And she was just as prompt and friendly. Anyone in South Texas who would use anyone other than Bodine Scott is out of their mind.

Wonderful experience! My home is only 4 years old so when I found out it wasn’t heating and my thermostat wasn’t holding a charge I freaked out.. I called them first thing in the morning and they were here before my scheduled appointment. The tech was very professional. When he listened to my issue he seemed to already know what was going on…moments later my heat, ac, and thermostat are up and running. I’m so thankful the part I needed was still under warranty. I was very satisfied with their service. The person answering the phone was super helpful and informative with my many questions and concern about our air conditioning unit. when I called, we were not establish customers and they were able to come out to our home which let me mention is over an hour outside of town and they came out the same day. Steve came over on a Sunday and did a fantastic job. He answered all of our questions, gave us all of our options, and showed us pictures and detailed descriptions of what was wrong with our unit. I would highly recommend Bodine-Scott to service, repair, and service your AC.
My ac went out at 1030 pm; I called Bodine Scott and while they were not able to come at that time, they set me up for an appt Saturday morning. The technician, Matthew, did a great job fixing the problem quickly!!

We had a broken valve leak under our kitchen sink on Saturday night. We called and were promptly set up for an appointment on Sunday morning. The service we received was great. We were given an accurate estimate of time for the job, and were informed of another issue that could warrant another call-out if not addressed. The plumber was friendly and informative. I would highly reccomend Bodine-Scott.

It's never a good time when your A/C dies down here, and it can't get replaced soon enough. Our A/C went pining for the fjords on a Thursday, and the technician called time of death that afternoon. Friday morning Bodine-Scott's project manager came over for a look, and before lunchtime he sent us a replacement proposal. I was hoping they could start right away, but the earliest they could manage was Monday. Spent a miserable, sweaty weekend waiting, but true to their word they showed up first thing Monday. And by close of business the new system -- condenser, air handler, all connections and a fancy new thermostat -- was up and running. Consider us cool and satisfied.

Received a RUDE phone call at 1:30pm from Bodine Scott (BS)plumber saying he is on the way he’s right around the area and shows up @ 4:50pm with another guy and his company van as well.
2 vans 2 guys.
City came out shut my gas off 1 day prior to this encounter with Bodine Scott plumber saying there was a gas leak. I Called my Home warranty they dispatched Bodine Scott, BS plumber gets here hours later and cuts the 1 foot length of pipe where I mentioned it was leaking from and afterwards BS plumber decides to call home warranty company only to find out it’s not covered by the warranty!(which really ticks me off) but oh well no big deal. BS Plumber quotes warranty company $300(for 1ft worth of pipe and a new shut off valve) RIDICULOUS!!
I ask to just put my stuff back together and I’ll call my own plumber and handle it on my own instead of using the home warranty which isn’t covering anything anyways.
Bodine Scott Plumber says “we’d have to charge you for 1 HR labor”
Heck No. Just leave it and get off my property.
Next morning I hire my NEW licensed plumber he come out and Replaces new pipe, fittings, & shut off valve for $100 including a tip.

I was very happy with my service. Not only did my system started leaking water, but shut down (as it was designed to do) due to the water in the system. This meant I had no AC when it was 90F outside. I called and had someone come by that afternoon. My system was up in less than 20 minutes. Thank you! I am 63 years old and need my system running!

AMAZING customer service. I have had three companies now look at my AC. This is the first one who actually went into the attic and looked at the coil. They spent time determining what was wrong rather than just saying the system needs Freon and then leave. Twice Ive had two different Tecnician’s come for regular AC maintenance and recently for heater not working during a pretty good cold spell. Why go elsewhere when (for me) Bodine-Scott has not given me reason too.

I am disappointed that I have to even leave Bodine Scott a star. This company along with their manager Joe is a complete joke. I had a technician come out for a regular inspection and to do a few minor repairs. He failed to do his job properly and in result the Freon from my unit leaked out. He also charged me for the service he didn’t even complete. They would not warrantee their work nor would they come back out to fix it. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau to hopefully resolve this issue!
He was professional and down to the point, good recommendations, and will use this service again. Very happy with the outcome

The first visit the tech. did not check for a leak. I paid $350 for two parts that I did not need and Freon that leaked out within a few days. When I called back to explain the problem Melissa forgot to add me to the schedule. After calling again I had another tech. find the leak. I was suppose to receive a call about the part that needed replacement. I did not get that call. I had to call again. The quote was $400 over two other quotes I received. I ask for a refund for the unnecessary $350 I spent on the first visit. She said they did what they were supposed to do. So that did not happen either. So after wasting $350 and over a week of no A/C I took my business else where. I would NEVER recommend this company and I am pretty sure whose tech. are way over worked! .

We've been loyal customers for years, so when our AC went out three days ago, we had a Bodine Scott technician come out. He quickly found the issue but said he couldn't quote or purchase the part since the warehouse is closed on Sunday. He told me to expect a call on Monday with quotes. I never got a call. Instead, I called twice on Monday. The first time, they didn't have an answer for me. The second time, no one answered or called me back after I left a message. It's now Tuesday afternoon and still no call. I called another repairman this morning, and my AC was fixed within three hours. I was loosely quoted $800, but encouraged to do about a $1400-$1600 repair from the Bodine Scott technician. The price I paid to my NEW repairman was $340!

Had my total install Oct 2018 and it was great! One month past my one year warranty (Nov 2019) on a rather muggy day I had to close the windows and turn the A/C on, it wasn't cooling.... Service guy Joe came out and found that my new coil had a leak. My salesman Carl Christmas went to bat for me with the manufacturer Trane and got them to cover it under warranty and Betty got the part ordered and scheduled the repair right away.

These guys are amazing. Out of all the contractors we have met with since Harvey, hands down the most professional and best contractors we came across. John promptly came out to do the assessment, provide us pricing, started and ended the job exactly as he promised. Mathew and Robert were at my house each morning before I left to work and I live in Aransas Pass. They replaced all of our duct work and AC unit. I had a mini-split installed into a small guest house back in March of 2011. The unit works flawlessly and barely sips amps through, my electric bill hardly changed and it's finally conditioned in there! The technician was also cheerful and didn't mind my questions. We are in the process of selling our home and some things came up per an inspection regarding the HVAC system. We contacted Bodine-Scott who came out and looked at the system per issues on the inspection, and the technician explained everything that was wrong including some things the inspector had missed that need to be taken care of They kept in contact with us regarding the ordering of the parts and when a technician would be out. All and all even with having to order parts the work was complete within 2 weeks of the initial visit. We were kept in form of everything that was happening every step of the way there was no surprises and the quoted price did not change. We were very happy with the service received.

I had a great experience with Bodine Scott air conditioning. They arrived at the time promised,and had my a/c going pretty quick. I was amazed. The technician who's name is Race was very knowledgeable. He really new what he was doing. He explained to me the situation that caused my problem and made sense. He was right on the money. Long story short i had a very plugged air filter, causing the capacitor to fail. He was able to replace it in no time. He was very professional. Price was fair. I think it was worth every cent. My house was built in 2013. Bodine Scott were the installers of my AC unit as well as the duct work. When I first moved in I was having issues with condensation in my cabinet. The builder called Bodine Scott our again to see if they can figure out what was going on. They were both puzzled on why this was happening. Stating that my house was kept too cold. First off, if I want to keep my ac at 70 degrees that is my choice to do so. That shouldn’t be an issue. Secondly, the issue was that Bodine Scott didn’t place a damper in causing warm air to come into my “freezing” home. I had to pay $600 out of pocket to have it replaced and fixed. Not to mention my beautiful custom cabinets are ruined as well as the ceiling under those cabinets. Now come to find out that they did a less than decent job placing in the indoor unit because leaks there caused condensation within that closet area. Mildew and mold are thriving in that dark little closet that I just so happen to see because I needed my spare key. Another HVAC company told be that they did a poor job installing the unit and it now all has to be replaced. I can not even FATHOM how much I am looking at. I have a fairly brand new home. I had Bodine-Scott Air-Conditioning Install my new a/c, heating system a few weeks ago. I met the nicest people starting with Kelby, salesman, to Kim, service department. But I was really impressed with Omar and Robert, the technicians who did the installation! They were very thorough with their work. They made a great team working together and stayed “on task”. My technician was Tony, and right off the bat I knew that you sent the right person to get the job done. It was hot and he trouble shootef all areas to try and find the issue that caused my Air Conditioner to go down. He answered my questions of concern explaining in understandable terms so I was on board with what he was doing. The next time he came back he went straight to work trying to resolve the problem. Got on the phone with Rheem and explained what was happening. They figured it out as a team and got the A.C. back up and running. I am giving you guys 5 stars for your professionalism and knowledge. Once the honeymoon phase was over, they didn’t even bother to contact us to renew the annual preventative maintenance contract, perhaps they no longer wanted our business. Its ok though, Mathews is doing a fabulous job meeting our needs.

Compressor went out on sunday morning. I explained the situation to the technician on the phone, he saved me the initial call out fee and let me send pictures of the condensor data plate and the compressor part number. Monday they verified that the RHEEM manufacturer warranty was valid and ordered the compressor. Tuesday at 11 am the tech shows up and has the job completed by 1pm. House is cooling off great now. My system is R22 the helped me with the cost by using NU22 refrigerant instead which saved big money. I can not be happier, with the quick professional service they provided. I will use them again and refer to everyone.

Our a/c went out--of course--in the middle of the summer 2023 heat wave. The Bodine Scott technician came immediately and determined that the problem could not be fixed without costing almost as much as a new unit. 48 hours later the new system has been installed and is working perfectly. The price was very reasonable with a solid warranty (which we need here on the coastal desert). Everyone at Bodine Scott from the technicians, the customer service personnel, to the sales rep have been first rate. We have used this company for over 10 years and recommend them without reservation to anyone who is having any a/c issues.

The HVAC company my home warranty sent out failed to diagnose the MAJOR problems with our air handler unit and instead tried to make us pay $375 for a coil clean that was unnecessary. Thankfully I trusted my gut and contacted Bodine-Scott for a second opinion.
I had to pay out of pocket versus being covered by the warranty but their tech Mr. Campos diagnosed the problem almost immediately as well as finding several other issues with both my air handler and a/c unit that the previous techs from the other company somehow never found during their inspection.
Thanks to Bodine-Scott I paid over $100 less than the other company was trying to charge me with the bonus of it ACTUALLY fixing the issue!
Able was a GREAT technician!!! Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, personable and arrived a little early. He got right to work, found the problem and had my ac working properly with twenty minutes. I was VERY PLEASED with Able and will request Able in the further. I will tell all my friends and family members to call Bodine-Scott for their heating and ac work and request Able to be their technician. Like every business in our Country, want to sell a part that cost $120 for $950 + call fee + diagnostic fee+ pee outside fee+ sun heat fee. Is ridiculous how expensive these ac companies operate. Learn to fix and install your own A/C unit . Paying for the capacitation is way less expensive than what you will spend with these companies!
Tommy was very efficient in repairing our a.c. He did not waste any time and was very detailed to his work. The cost was reasonable. I appreciate his attentiveness and I thank Bodine-Scott for scheduling us on such a short notice. Both the cost and customer service makes a difference! Great customer service by the way!

2017 - $85 to evaluate AC. The tech didn't test the motor or modulator (his terminology). Recommended replacement based on my description of the problem. He did not look at the outside unit at all. Quote for motor was $1000 on top of the $85. 3 stars
Use another A/C company. Bodine-Scott gave me a quote for a new A/C system with new coils. The A/C would not get cool during peak hours on hot days. After 3 service calls, they told me I would have to pay to have the service done that would make the new A/C system COMPLETELY operational. No one would answer my calls. Liars and cheats. Don't make the same mistake I did.

My mother had a maintenance agreement and when service man came out he said everything was fine with her outdoor 4 ton AC unit. There was no freon in the unit. He never checked it but advised us that everything was fine.
Also when this company installed furnace they left the bottom of the furnace open to air. They never sealed the the bottom of the unit. Horrible company! Please beware. We will never use this company ever again.

I just had Bodine-Scott check out my 8 year old Lennox heat pump. It had a leaking evaporator coil after only 5 years under warranty. The evaporator coil is now leaking again after only 3 years. This is unbelievable! Greg did an awesome job of explaining everything about my problem. I have been using CCAC for years and they never helped me like this! I really appreciate all of his help. The bottom line is I need a new unit after only 8 years! So do not buy a Lennox! Greg even made a nice video for me that I will show Dave Mathews at CCAC. A day after receiving our quote, I contacted Karl and let him know we would like to have Bodine-Scott replace our Air Condition Unit. When I asked how long it would take, I was told it would be done the following week. Within 30 minutes from the initial call I received another phone call and their rep asked if I would like to get it done the following day. I was very pleased with the quick response as the technicians showed up to my home in the Morning. The technicians were professional and worked diligently to get the job done. By the time I got home from work that day my family was already sitting in a comfortable home with AC. We are Blessed to find a Company that takes care of their clients. There was a tad bit of miscommunication on their side in the beginning. But I'll attribute that to how busy they have been after hurricane Harvey. Technician was very professional and quick at his job to diagnose the issue with our old/outdated HVAC system. Sales rep was also very professional, and helpful. Offered to help make sure we could keep the old unit running long enough to get the new one in. They showed up early (around 8ish) on the date of install. And they were able to get the job done it what appeared to be an efficient manner.
I have absolutely nothing bad I can say about any of my interactions with any person affiliated with the company.

Here’s what happened. Because I was not able to find my regular AC service man I frantically searched for AC repairs and remembered the ad for Bodine Scott. They sent a technician, he proceeds to do his thing with gages and notes that the Apacitor multi-purpose needs replacement at a 75$ cost okay. Than he tells me that unit now needs a fan $500 mind you the original problem has stopped “no more sound coming from the unit” (outside) he than talks to me about purchasing new outside unit. He said that it will eventually give out okay, I said I will let it do that before deciding on a new purchase. I had my technician follow up and he pointed out to me an overload of freon and also loosened screws causing gradually Freon escape
that would have eventually caused the unit to give out. The technician no doubt wanted to make a sell which was fine I understand that but don’t be the cause of the problem. The unit has been working fine. I am totally disappointed with the insincerity of the technician and it reflects badly on Bodine Scott a well established business. When the unit does give out (if it happens) I will take my business elsewhere.
The staff who performed my HVAC maintenance were a pleasure to work with they were thorough and conscientious, and did a good job explaining their findings. I highly recommended them.

I called Bodine-Scott to replace some very old insulation in my attic and repair some deteriorated ductwork. They did a great job and were very courteous. They were cautious of making a mess in the house and cleaned up whatever little mess they made. I will definitely be using them again for any HVAC issues.

During a free consultation with John Lancaster regarding microbial growth around my vents he conducted a complete system inspection. Caulking the vent boots and cleaning the ducts was recommended to resolve my immediate concerns. After discussing the age of my system @ 10 years, and some benefits to getting the work done during the cooler months in Corpus Christi, I decided to remove and replace the major HVAC components. Couldn't be happier. Diego and Mike were superstar installers. They went above and beyond with getting the old stuff out and the new stuff in and up and running. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the extra effort to ensure everything was covered with plastic while they performed duct cleaning operations. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommended!!

Waited from 1pm to 5:30 no calls nothing called back doesn't know if tech is still coming gonna call us back, calls back saying no not till tomorrow we say that's fine when is time 11am.
Next day tech calls says now 2:45pm we say that's fine also. Shows up at 3pm for 8 min proceds to knock boots around in attic giving an ugly attitude the whole time proceeds to leave with not saying anything stop him at door to ask he says he'll email with estimate. Day 4 no email.
Again did not purchase anything.

He was quick (same day), and he provided rapid and accurate diagnosis of the problem and meticulously worked to remedy our AC all the while keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process. We have had plenty of experience with other companies trying to gouge us on the pricing but he was very transparent throughout the repairs making sure to run every charge by us with clarity and patience. We ended up with a low cost repair and Brenda took very good care of us during scheduling and also as we wrapped up the payment details. This company also honors military with a discount for active duty personnel! We are going to be life long customers and have already planned to call them for pre summer maintenance of our AC next year. Highly, highly recommend these guys!

Fast service, they had someone come out within an hour of calling. They were able to quickly identify the problem and gave me an affordable quote that same day.
After moving to Corpus Christi almost 5 years ago, I contacted Bodine-Scott and signed a maintenance contract with them. I always feel as though I get priority treatment. Problems seem to always happen in the evening, and Bodine-Scott sends a technician within a couple of hours.
Arturo came out Tuesday night when my AC went out. He diagnosed the problem and was able to get the part and install it the following day.
Great service and I highly recommend Bodine-Scott.
I've had many other projects done by Bodine that we're very well priced and the turn around time was reasonable so we invested in their maintenance plan. At the spring/summer check up they found my evaporator coils were super dirty even though I've been asking them and prior companies if it was good and they said yes. I felt really appreciative that the tech Abel showed me and gave a fair price for the clean up.
What's really bothering me is that as part of the maintenance checks that includes things like checking your wires, capacitors freon etc. Apparently the tech missed that the same contactor that Bodine installed in 10/2021 is faulty not even 2 years later. So it's been a back and forth for the last 2 weeks and their dispatch and other techs trying to alude to the fact that our compressor was relocated by another HVAC company had something to do with it. Them installing a new line set and hooking up to the new disconnect are completely unrelated to the contactor 1 - not being identified as faulty and 2 - overcharging my system with freon which is never a good thing. Every single call for help has been met with significant delays to respond.
I will say that I've specifically reviewed the feedback that this company had and they'll call a customer a liar or call them out on any outstanding balances which is extremely inappropriate. I'm not one to withhold any sort of payment but since I've invested at least $4000 in both HVAC and plumbing work in the last two years, I think they can wait a few days to collect on the cleaning until they permanently fix this issue.
Bodine - we've been waiting since last week for a call from a supervisor and in the mean time they just push me off onto a dispatcher. This is not a oh it's hot outside issue. This AC has run just fine for the last 8 years. This weather is not foreign to the region. Please get someone out here tomorrow to fix this please!! This is costing me a ton in electricity in addition to all the other service calls I've had to ensure the other company is not liable.

Service was good once they arrived . Was told by dispatch they would be on site first thing in the morning, no show , called several times was told they were on there way. Didn’t show up until 1:00 This happened a couple of days in a row. A phone call informing me of this situation would have been helpful so we could schedule our day instead of us calling throughout the the day and waiting for technician to arrive. First day was a no show at all . In the end the service was good

Technical crew came within an hour of my initial call. Earlier response than I expected. They assessed my problem which I anticipated and was able to help me limp along until I can get an estimate on a new unit to replace the 20 year old beast in my closet. Will see consultant on Friday to review options. Very happy to work with this crew
