A Chavarria's Plumbing Inc

I’ve used Chavarria Plumbing several times, but through our home warranty company so I’ve only paid deductible. The service I needed was not covered by my warranty so I called them to fix it anyway.

I had to call multiple times to get someone out. When they finally came, they located the leak which required MINIMAL digging. The other leak was in plain sight. I asked for a quote before and he said less than $300 depending on what they found.

What they found was a simple leaking PVC pipe. It was about as simple to change out as plumbing can go.

He handed me the bill afterwards for $295. I couldn’t believe they charged me $260 something for “labor”. They left to get “parts” (literally al it needed was some PVC and a couple of elbows) and that took an hour. Then they stood outside of my house another hour waiting for the sealant to dry (which takes about 3 minutes). When I questioned him about the high rate he just said they like to wait for it to dry to be sure there are no further issues.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the way they WAY overcharged for a simple fix. And then intentionally waited around to run up the clock (they say they charge $89.50 per hour so what’s another hour in the sun when you can pad your pockets?)

That probably explains why I had to wait for them to come out for more than one day... their employees are waiting around for “pipes to dry”.

Very disappointed. It’s so hard to find honest people here.

Fast and friendly

This guys are top notch, everything you read about them is true. They showed up on time, spend 25 min on the inspection and covered all their basis. They finally gave me a reasonable estimate and really fair price (even gave me a discount for being in the army), they got the job and have done a great job so far. They are truly a breath of fresh air in the mist of idiots running around calling them selfs plumbers while they arent qualified to do any work. I called 5 people and scheduled appointments, they were only 2 people who showed up and Chavarria's was by far the best choice. Give them a call and save your self the headaches I had to go through, or worse.

Had a new kitchen faucet installed today in my home. AB and Bernie did a excellent job; professional, polite and quick. Definitely recommend Chavarrias plumbing service they get the job done right the first time at a reasonable price

Definitely overpriced and inexperienced crew working ...they just looking for people to get ripped off...had to pay someone else to do the job cuz they wanted to charge one egg and half the other just to fix some leak...

I called on a Sunday afternoon for a busted shower pipe and explained that I needed someone ASAP ñ, since the downstairs living room began to flood. I was told it would be 45 min for the plumber on call to come by. I waited 2 hours before calling again, the answering service was surprised that the plumber hadn’t made contact and advised to schedule 8am appointment. 8am Monday morning the plumber hasn’t shown so I waited until 10:32 for updates, called the plumbing service again. I was told there wasn’t any plumber available yet. So I canceled and called a different plumbing service.

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE SEWER CONNECTION TO MY HOME. CHAVARRIA'S CAME OUT AND FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY. ALSO, ON FATHERS DAY MY HAT WATER HEATER BROKE AND ANDY CHAVARRIA SENT THE GUYS TO BRING A NEW ONE AND CONNECT IT. WHAT SERVICE.

They are always professional and friendly. I've used them plenty of times and I recommend them.

I called and they were very rude. The first thing they told me that they charge $145 an hour and more to fix the problem, not knowing what the problem is 🙄

Showed up three days late. Installed the dishwasher as well as possible after a couple of botched attempts. They were unfriendly, although they did eventually fix most of the issues.

Have been a loyal Chavarria's customer for many years now, but I guess their business has grown so much that they do not feel the need to accommodate customers as much as they have in the past. One more sad example of how the customer has to work around the business' time frame, not when necessary for the customer. They tell you they will show up at an appointed hour... they tell you they will call before they head to the work site... but they do neither of those things. It is all a big surprise as to when they show up. Chavarria's is a great plumbing company if you have all the time in the world to wait around for them. I don't know about everyone else, but I am getting older and closer to the grave by the minute, so I don't have time to wait on THEM --especially when I am the one shelling out the $.

I recommend Chavarria's Plumbing for their professionalism and responsiveness to my issue. The office called to let me know they were on their way. JJ and Max answered all my questions, gave me a quote up front and worked efficiently. Great service.

Most professional crew Iv seen in a long long time

This just happened. They knock on the door like law enforcement, I open the door and they come in like they own the place. I ask them who they are, they're the plumbers. My sister is spooked, I tell her it's the plumbers. I point them to the toilet. They shine a flashlight from the door, across the room. They never actually look at the toilet, or even enter the room. They then go back outside for about five minutes then come back and say it's gonna cost $400. Do no call these people.

Recently had a job done by them and after letting them know the specifics in the toilet they still didn’t come prepared and the bill was so high, it honestly would’ve been cheaper to buy a new toilet all together and installed it myself. Too bad there’s not negative star rating because they shouldn’t even get one star. Never using them again or recommending them AT ALL!

I highly recommend Chavarria's Plumbing, I have been using them for years at my place of business and today I was able to count on them with a hot water pipe leak in my home kitchen.

Fast and fair

The price quoted was not what was charged.
It was $100 over the quoted amount. They did 20 minutes of labor and charged $450.
Call someone else.

Although I did not use their services, they did respond within an hour after speaking to them on the phone. They sent a team over to the house right away and gave me a fair quote that was comparable to the other service I used. So I thought their quick response was professional and prices were basically the same as the other service I used.

Recently, I had a water leak in my home. When I called Chavarria’s Plumbing the owner Andy Chavarria answered the call. He impressed me as an intelligent and diligent individual who was very serious about helping me as a customer. Believe me I went on forever about all the issues in my home. For the most part, Andy Chavarria was ver cordial, polite, and respectful. He was quick to assure me that he would help me solve my problem. The next day the plumbers arrived and had resolved the leak in my home. I felt a sense of relief and hope no more flooding. Without a doubt, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Chavarria Plumbing if I ever needed service in my home. Andy Chavarria is the type of individual that cares and listens to his customers. Above all, he is a very conscientious person a man of his word. The pillars of Chavarria Plumbing stand for integrity, respect, loyalty, compassion and honesty. In a like manner, Andy Chavarria is a very humble person someone you can trust. I’m not a person who trusts that easily. However, he has gained my trust his company was there when I needed them. Furthermore, I would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Chavarria for their assistance. God knows how bad my house would’ve gotten if they hadn’t come to my aid. Super bad experience, I read the reviews and someone also recommended them to me but my experience was I kept on calling, waiting at home for the plumbers to come or call me, and no one ever came, I was told that even if they came at 5pm o later I wasn't gona get charged extra because I had been calling all day, but still no one showed,, then I called again on satuday was they said they could send them already but I was gona get charged extra for been weekend or after hours!

Horrible quality repair they turned a brocken outside faucet into a twisted mess of pipe. With a hole in the wall. That they just left..
The charges were horrible over 200 dollars an hour they were crazy. I recommend you avoid them.

Thanksgiving Morning - I have 14 people coming over for lunch and I was told that 2 of the restrooms were clogged up completely.
I made a phone call and even on a holiday Chavarria’s plumbing showed up in less that 45 minutes, and two professional technicians were at my front door to address the situation. They resolved the issue in no time !

My Rheem water heater was defective and broke down. The nearest associate Rheem had to do the work was 122 miles away. So I called Chavarria's Plumbing I told them they had a 2 day project with me and with no problem they came over early and drained and dismantled the water heater. I took the water heater back to Home Depot and got a new one. The next morning the guys came and hooked up the new water heater. Fast and Professional

Septic tank service was okay. No complaints.
