Recently my 16-year old water heater started leaking from the bottom. I had seen Candu ads on Facebook and billboards and thought I would give it a try. I was able to book an appt. with Candu for the next day at a convenient time for me. The contractor gave me a quote that was much lower than any of the other companies I contacted. The next day, they came wearing their masks, shoe protectors and carpet covering. I had my brand new water heater installed! Overall, the service was great, fast and economical. I will definitely continue to use Candu for any other repairs I may need in the future. Thanks Candu!

The man who came to fix my washer was 2 hrs late. I had plans that night but had to miss them because I needed it fixed. I tried contacting the company to remedy the situation but they make it mighty hard to get in contact with someone. Dude was cool though & did what was needed so thanks for that part just late af

Finally, I have found the right company that i can rely on to fix and repair all my appliances. It was a great experience to me dealing with Candu after my previous bad experience with several other repair companies. My experience with Candu was positive. The tech who did repaired my side by side refrigerator was professional. He explained every step and didn't leave until the job was finished completely.

I want to keep you guys posted about the horrible experience I have received from Candu. My Service was for a dishwasher repair. The agency you used Suncoast appliances has one of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Their guy came to my house on 14th August (5 hours late) and just took a picture of my machine Serial number and left. After a couple of follow ups I was told that my machine needs some replacement parts and it will be procured in 2 weeks. Later that date changed to 8th September. There was no update / call from them on 8th / 9th. On 10th September Candu called me to tell me that Suncoast is now saying that the part is not available. It took them 4 weeks to realise this and while all this time I have been without a functioning dishwasher. I looked up the part online and it is available. I did request Candu to switch my service agency to someone who can find the part but they are not obliging and saying that replacement is the only option.

To make matters worse, Suncoast is somehow not even closing the ticket and I am not even getting the replacement option.

I looked at GE site and most of their dishwashers (in a reasonable price range) are backordered by 4 weeks. This now means that I will have to wait another 4 weeks to get a replacement making my overall wait time more than 2 months.

Worst is that there is just no accountability. No one understands the challenge we have had to face waiting for the so-called service to happen.

I look back and feel that it was a big mistake to contract with Candu instead of a local person to get it fixed.

This was a confusing arrangement (at least, to me). I agreed initially to the $249.00 guaranteed repair. The vendor assigned my repair came back to me with an estimate TWICE the CANDU price, which put the SCREECH on the project causing a delay on the repair of my stove. CANDU and their vendor came to an agreement/understanding and the repair was completed for the originally quoted price to me. Overall, it was a stressful and anxiety filled experience but I am VERY HAPPY about the outcome, repair and price.

I was quoted a price for repair of ice maker back on June 9. After three visits from the repair tech from C & R Repair, over 3 months it was determined that it would be to expensive to repair the ice maker. I called Candu. They were very nice and offered a replacement, at my cost, which I declined. They did a Partial refund, minus the initial $79.00 service fee. I guess I missed the part about prices being guaranteed.

Parts costed more than the flat rate I was given... and Candu still stood by the flat rate deal. I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly thankful! Within 2 days my stove was completely fixed and at a seriously unbeatable price :)

I recently had my 17 year old dryer repaired. The tech arrive and determined the problem. All was needed was the inside door lever that powers the dryer, when the door closes. My ten year old said, he was in and out in less than 15 minutes. We immediately used the dryer and there has been no issues.

Repair of of our GE refrigerator by John from Bragg appliance, arranged by Candu was excellent. Very good problem solving and professional. Given that the ice maker and mother board required replacement, it was a very good price (prepaid based on symptoms). It took quite some time for the parts to come in but that was likely due to slowdowns related to COVID-19.

Our 15 year old washing machine broke so I debated to fix it or not, but the older machines are so much better made that I figured it was worth it after I found the flat rate repair service through Candu. The process was quick and easy and the machine ended up needing a new motor and belt. They honored the price for the repair as it was originally quoted before they had even seen the machine. The technician was able to come out initially 2 days after I made the service call, and then came back a couple of days later when the part came in. The service company they sent was on time, prompt and responsive.

Candu quoted me a simple flat fee and sent over a contractor who arrived when he said he would, communicated well, and got the job done. It was such a relief to work with someone who showed up on time as scheduled, regardless of the fee. And I was impressed that Candu honored their very fair fee, even when the repair turned out to be large.

Used Candu to inspect and repair a leaking single room A/C. Technician was able to come out the next day and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Back to comfort in home office!

This is not an ideal way to do business I cannot recommend them and I will not use them again the flat fee charge is excessive with only a Band-Aid on the issue not resolving it while needing further future assistance And more cost

So surprised seeing the reviews, they used a contractor so unprprofessional; sub contractor Ericksen Appliance came to my home to do the repair on a Kenmore Elite refrigerator /freezer. He was onetime for the visit, he diagnosed it and told me it was the compressor and he would have to order it, he would see if could get it locally but he would call me and let me know when the part would be here. Not only did he (Daniel Ericksen)not notify Thur.&Fri.I called his office Friday twice and they said he hadn't completed the paperwork.Called Candu afterward they said Ericksen hadn't completed ticket that he took the visit. Candu apologized.

First, service company didn't show up within scheduled time block...came HOURS later. Have, also, called multiple times. Refrigerator still not repaired after service visit last week. Was told someone would call me multiple times but no one has called to resolve. They got their payment, though.

Update: Since initial visit in August (it is now Oct. 30th), 2 different companies, over 10 visits, refrigerator still not repaired. Past ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so pleased with CANDU getting my dryer repaired. The repairman showed up promptly, wearing mask , Took shoes off, repairs completed and vey cost so reasonable. I will not hesitate to use them again !!
