We have used Hernan’s Custom Tile and Stone several times in the past 6 years. We have had tile flooring installed as well as counter-to-ceiling kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile repair, and a floor-to-ceiling layered stone living room wall. All projects are beautifully done. Hernan and his crew are professional, friendly, and pay a great deal of attention to quality detail work. We always call Hernan for our tile and stonework needs.

They were very patient while educating me on the pros & cons of different types of flooring. I didn’t know floors had so much in them, all the differences between engineered and sold wood and all the available stains, etc. I felt I really had to review this place. The entire purchase, delivery and installation process was very smooth, uneventful and professionally executed. The guys at Home Solutionz - Laveen are very customer-oriented and though not cheap but the service is totally there. 10/10!

100% satisfaction. We own multiple properties and have worked with hundreds of contractors/repair companies. Tony's Tile and Marble is at the top of our referral list. After multiple vendors did not respond or show up, I reached out to Tony. He responded right away, scheduled us in a timely manner, had fair pricing, and went above and beyond assisting us with items that we were not there in person to do. His team's work was top notch, completed everything in a timely manner, not to mention there was complete open and clear communication throughout the process. I would recommend Tony and team to complete any job you have. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Tony!!

Extremely inconsistent height on tile flooring from one tile to the next. Very unlevel. Grouted over nails from baseboard removal and nail heads sticking up out of grout!! Baseboard difficult to install due to uneven tile work.

Kitchen renovation in process. The signature piece was just installed. We give 5 stars to Petrus Granite, a small business here in Phoenix. From start to finish, we were impressed by the communications, scheduling and of course access to the most beautiful piece of nature that has become a piece of art in our forever home. Ivan and Gerardo (the installers for Petrus a 5 star business) were on time, and a pleasure to welcome to our home. Their skill and pleasant natures will be remembered by us for years to come. Every member of the Petrus team is professional, particular, and work hard to make our dream kitchen come true. Even the plumbing installation for the new sink was pure perfection.
We can’t wait to complete the kitchen refacing and backsplash! When finished, the Petrus work will be what we intended: granite that is art!

Incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Porter.

I placed an order for a mantle I was told would be 13 weeks out just before closing on a Saturday, and attempted to cancel the order the following Monday after finding a more reasonably priced option that would deliver in 4 weeks.

I was then told deposits, which was 50% of the total, were non-refundable, which was not communicated during the buying process. Porter then pointed to the invoice, drawing, and receipt, which has the disclaimer in approximately 5 point font buried in a 240 word paragraph, and was signed by me in an approximately 60 second time span on Saturday when the salesperson asked me to sign here, here, and here.

After disputing the charge, but still being required to pay based on the signed invoice, I requested that Porter donate the deposit to charity, since the only other option was a store credit.

At this point, I have not received any proof a charitable donation has been made, nor have I received a credit, and it has been 5 weeks since my donation request.

I am not disagreeing with any point you have made, especially since you have almost reiterated verbatim what I originally posted.

If I had been told verbally there was a non-refundable deposit policy, you would not have heard anything from me. The fact is, you currently have over $500 from me that was provided as a deposit, and I have received nothing from it. Simply provide me a receipt that you made a charitable donation. I do not see how that is an unreasonable request.

I am sure you understand that I do not want you to benefit monetarily based on my experience with your company. I think we can both feel good about helping out a worthy cause.

We recently had our quartzsite counter tops fabricated by the L&M team. Our counter tops came out beautifully within 10 days. Prior to installation, Raul came to our house and created the templates, joined us at Aracruz Granite to select the specific tiles so the patterns could be matched, then back to L&M to layout the design of the templates to match the pattern design so the continued flow would occur and installed our beautiful counter tops in a week. Also, Sarah, who works at the front desk was always a joy to work with. She always answered the phone quickly and/or returned my calls as soon as she was able. Use L&M - you will not be disappointed.
