Best Build Home Remodeling in Phoenix AZ

This letter of recommendation/review dated January 30, 2023 (hereinafter the Letter of Recommendation) is submitted without reservation.

We are the homeowners that retained Apollo Builders to remediate major damage done to (i) the two-car garage; and (ii) the laundry room. The damage was extensive and required, among other things, reconstruction of the load-bearing walls supporting the garage and the laundry room (hereinafter, the Damaged Areas).

My wife and I are both seniors; unfortunately, my wife suffers from difficult health-related issues that require the intervention of various specialties found at the Mayo Clinic. I stress this point because Tyler Kestner was highly sensitive to these health issues when planning the remediation of our home.

The reconstruction of the Damaged Areas commenced on January 24, 2023, and concluded on January 30, 2023. The Apollo staff were impeccable in the performance of their job, including: (i) on-time arrivals; (ii) assemblage of the materials necessary to complete the remediation without delay or aggravation; and (iii) assuring that each of the subcontractor groups likewise followed the very high work ethic displayed by the Apollo staff.

The restoration of the Damaged Areas is now complete; the work was expertly done in accordance with applicable professional standards. For example, during the work period, Tyler examined continuously the work done by his staff and his long-term retained sub-contractors. (These tradesmen have enjoyed many years’ relationship with Tyler; they also perform their work consistent with the Apollo high work ethic.)

In sum, Apollo, Tyler, the Apollo staff, and assigned subcontractors were the consummate professionals.

Johan did outstanding work at our home, replacing the bathroom with a new and beautiful shower and did an impeccable job putting in new tile throughout the rest of our residence. When we put our residence up for sale, we had several offers and sold it for more than the asking price. It had over 500 views within 24 hours! He was more than fair with the cost of the remodel. Above all, he is trustworthy and honest. Looking forward to having Johan upgrading our new hone soon.

Oustanding Job! Wonders of Wood did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets. The crew was absolutely phenomenal. They were timely, professional, extremely hard working, and paid attention to every detail. I can't say enough about how happy I am with how our cabinets turned out. The paint job is so smooth and silky, and looks fantastic. Absolute perfection! I'm so glad I went with this company.

In the past 20 years, we have lived through three large remodel projects with three different contractors. McCurdy construction is by far the best. During the process of meeting with contractors for estimates, we were impressed with Tom Haberman's knowledge and really appreciated his ideas on what we could do. None of the other contractors discussed options that we never thought of or dreamed was possible. Once on board with McCurdy, we met with Tom and the design team at McCurdy's show room. Leyda and Kaitlyn were also very knowledgeable, had great ideas and made it a fun experience. Fortunately we didn't have to live in the house during construction but came by every day to see the progress. Rob and his crew were incredibly polite, respectful and flexible with us popping in. With the major work behind them, the attention to detail in finishing up small things, many of which we didn't even see, continued to leave us with a sense of complete and total satisfaction that we chose the right company. My older brother has worked in construction most of his life and he agreed that we had the best of the best on our project. Previous experiences with contractors left much to be desired with communication but there was never a lapse in updates on progress or work to be scheduled. My expectations were exceeded and we are extremely pleased with the results. Photos are from the same perspective before and after construction.

They do such amazing work! My shower head broke several months after install and they came over no problem and replaced it!

When one considers remodeling your home, it’s easy to have nightmares about the difficulty of finding a suitable builder, the arduous process of selecting the decorative materials, the quality/look of the finished product, completing the project on time and most of all coming in on budget. I'm very happy to recommend K & B Remodeling! When I was looking to get certain elements of my master bath, guest bath and kitchen remodeled, I interviewed a lot of different companies to try and find a good fit for me. At the top of my list was finding a company with good reviews that could do the remodel at a fair and resonable cost. K & B Remodeling checked both those boxes! As the remodel went on I found the company to be extremely trustworthy- which is a BIG deal. Any little thing that came up, the crew was on it and took care of it! I am really just blown away by how it turned out. Its even better than I imagined. Tyson was my project manager and he made the experience awesome. The communication was always excellent and I was kept informed throughout the entire process, which was greatly appreciated. Also a special shout out to Doug and Don (Cactus Valley Plumbing) who really went above and beyond on the job to make sure everything looked and worked great. As a special bonus, the crew was literally some of the nicest people I've ever met (is this even possible??) At the end- it was right on budget! Shannon and his company provided a build out of a 2400 square foot office condominium investment property I purchased. Having never done anything like this before, Shannon and his team were patient and helpful with every aspect of the design and buildout. we now have a tenant who loved the building and signed a 5 year lease.

I would definitely recommend White Building inc . Her team was on time and polite when coming to my home .They did such a wonderful job with my kitchen remodel. I m in love with my kitchen now. Amazing builder and gc top quality product highly reccomend

Our order was big as we were replacing every cabinet in the house and adding some new ones which required creativity in the design. Despite delivery time delays due to unforeseen circumstances, Erik VanVoorhis worked so hard to accomodation my design changes from the get go. He was great at making modifications to the available designs to meet our intended design. After explaining my schedule constraints to Erik, he worked so hard including late evenings and weekends with the rest of the team at 'Sanels Wholesale Cabinets' to accomodate my renovation schedule. The installation team did a tremendeaous job and the final product shown in the photos speaks for the fine workmanship of the whole team. Remember, this big project cost was at 60% of the quotes I got from other companies in the Phoenix area. Thanks Sanels Wholesale Cabinets for adding beautiful touch to my home.

I contacted red ram remodeling and spoke with a gentleman named Dan, I needed some work done on my house in multiple areas, He was eager to come out on my schedule and he was able to get the job done in timely manner, now you could never tell there was any damage to my home.

I recently purchased my first home and hired On Demand Construction to do a total remodel. These guys had all of the answers and did a fabulous job!! I recommend this company for anyone wanting great work and a fair price.

My wife and I hired Rick to do a major renovation of our home (all bathrooms, garage, kitchen, laundry room, floors, etc.) in February of 2022. Our initial meetings with Rick in January 2022 were great. He was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. That was until we signed a contract with him and paid a $4000 permit retainer. As soon as we paid Rick the communication and proactiveness disappeared. To summarize the details below, it was a nightmare of 8 months just to get a permit approved by the city.
We were told he would have the initial plans ready for us within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get him to provide a draft of the remodel design which had numerous mistakes. The following day we sent an email with a list of all the mistakes that needed to be fixed including measurement corrections that I had to take myself.
3 weeks later and no word from Rick, I follow up to check and he indicates that he will be submitting the plans end of the week (April 12th). After many more follow-ups and involving the Refresh Renovations corporate we finally get him to submit the plans to the city on May 13th, 3+ months from signing the contract. Note, the contract indicated that the project would start in mid-April.
The plans that were submitted were riddled with issues and required THREE rounds of corrections! We finally got the permit approved at the beginning of October. Rick provided excuse after excuse throughout the whole process. I have worked with dozens of contractors in the past and Rick and Refresh Renovations were BY FAR THE WORST!
We canceled the build contract and have found much better professionals to complete the elements of the renovation.
