We worked with Urban Energy on a series of electrical issues at our home in Potrero Hill in San Francisco and we plan on working with them again in the future. Their electricians go the extra mile to provide great technical work and excellent customer service. This team is capable of doing very complex, state of the art work and all the basics. We even needed some computing components to make something work in our house and they took the time to help us select and install the right devices. We also had a consistent point of contact, Fergal Mac Donnell, and we look forward to working with him whenever we have an appointment. I would recommend these electricians to people who have very complex jobs involving programming, wireless, etc. as well as basic jobs like putting in extra outlets in closets.

They gave me a comfortable feeling. I had the best experience when they helped me out quickly, I mean it's a relief. The electrician I hired was a very nice person who's nice to work with too. I appreciated his great potential in fixing up my breaker that doesn't reset. Everything was cleaned up and fixed within 2 hours. It was a perfect way of repair. Super amazing service! I will call them in the future as well as recommend them to my friends.

Jorge and his team were very professional. They rewired my kitchen a few weeks ago from a knob and tube to a grounded system with a surge protector. They also cleaned and treated the wiring at the main panel and added a sub panel. Jorge took the time to explain the work and provided a detailed estimate. He made sure everything was performed to code. He has a great crew working for him. Highly recommend and will use him for further projects.

I didn't end up using REF, because Hector was such a straight-shooter that he suggested my handyman should likely have a look at the issue first to see if my electrical issue was a simple solve (and thereby save myself some money). This was after he patiently talked me through the problem on the phone and suggested some trouble-shooting. I noted REF has expertise with old SF buildings like mine, so figured I would call them back if it was a more complex issue - but thankfully, just as Hector suspected, it was not. Will certainly keep them in mind for bigger electrical jobs in the future. Thanks Hector!

Robert just came and helped us out of a huge bind. He came on a holiday weekend and charged us less than everyone else was quoting, even though they were not available to help anyway. His work was excellent quality and he is a real pleasure to interact with. We are a very discerning family and he is the absolute best.
