Darrell was great! We lost power in several rooms of our home, and he immediately came by to diagnose and solve the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained exactly what had gone wrong.After making sure we understood what had caused he issue, Darrell was very honest and straightforward about our options and ultimately recommended the easiest and least expensive solution.This is the second time we have used Sims & Sons, and we will gladly continue to use them in the future. Handico cut/installed trim for 8 custom window, 2 door trims and baseboards for me in June 2022. Tom did a fantastic job and is very pleasant to work with as he truly loves what he does for a living! The owner, Joe, is a man of great integrity and fully stands behind their work, which is very reassuring to me because it says alot about him as a business owner. I also previously hired them to install quarter-round moulding in my home and Tom did an excellent job with that, also. They are definitely on my go-to list for home improvements/repairs

Our fixer, Nate, was thorough and proactive in all the work he did. He identified areas to make the work and repairs better, and went above and beyond to help us get a great outcome. We purchased the membership and plan to use a fixer for several other repairs around our property!

Needed a vintage door installed with barn door hardware to cover my stacking washer/dryer. Chris got back to quickly to discuss the project and estimate a quote. Got me on their schedule right way.Jamie did the install. He addressed any issues, went to the store to pick up items my project needed, explained the process along the way, and delivered a well done product at the end.I am looking forward to using them for future projects in my unit and around the condo building.
