Best Licensed Electrical Contractor in Chicago IL

I'm the ultimate D.I.Yer, I messed up the doorbells and called All Power Electric. The service man came to my house quoted me a price of 425.00 to troubleshoot my doorbell problem (wow).At that time he said that if he couldn't find the problem he would run new wire along my door trim and through the floor to rewire the bell. I didn't want sloppy slop shod work with wires running down the walls and especially at $425.00. I called the main office and told a Lady that sloppy work was unacceptable. I used an $18.00 inexpensive role of bell wire and rewired the doorbell myself.

Eric and Albert came out last week to install a few ceiling fans and switch out my electrical panel. They were on time and very professional. Their work looks great and they left the area spotless when they were done. They were very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had for them. I will definitely be using them in the future and would recommend them for anyone needing quality electrical work done.

This review is long overdue!After recently moving to Chicago, we needed various work done in our new house. This included electrical work to accommodate a new washer and dryer. After taking delivery of my new machines I realized that I did not have the correct outlet for the dryer, and that all the electrical in the laundry needed attention. I had been without a washer and dryer for nearly ten days, (with three boys this was no joke), so I wanted the work done ASAP.Kam at Sapphire was outstanding. He was punctual and professional and knowledgeable. He really went above and beyond. Thank you! The electrical work was complicated and laborious. It was done to an excellent standard. All the guys, especially Kam, were great. He explained everything clearly. The estimate was very fair, comparable to other companies, and the same as the final bill. No add-ons or surprise charges despite the work being more involved in the end. They were also very tidy. I was very impressed and I would not hesitate in using them again.

It wasn’t easy to find a good electrician in Chicago but once I found this one, my search was over. I wanted to get recessed lighting throughout my main floor but I wasn’t even sure it would be possible without tearing my ceilings apart. This electrician did an incredible job of keeping my ceiling intact and proving me with the pot lights I wanted.

Owner/Operator Daryl Brooks was very professional. He arrived, on-time w/ all needed equipment. The job was neatly done, however, it did not take hours upon hours. We recently bought a two flat and took on a renovation project for both units. The electric for the entire building needed to be upgraded because it posed a safety hazard. Called Sal on Thursday PM re estimate on fixes for condo which we had just purchased. He came over the NEXT morning, gave me a good price, and fixed EVERYTHING before noon (including a quick run to the hardware store). He also gave me a few recommendations re other issues in the condo, which helped a lot. Very conscientious guy and would call him again anytime!

I called Adams Electrical Services located 4527 S. Drexel, to get an estimate because he’s in the area and upon his request I sent him a picture of the job.He responded with a price of $550 to move an electrical conduit up which is really ridiculous because this job would take maybe one hour or two at the most.It’s a shame when contractors try to take advantage of folks (especially females) thinking that we are desperate and don’t know any better. So typical and wrong!

$75 for an estimate that can be deducted from the unknown quote. The quote itself could be on the higher end but you don't know until you pay the $75. I was hoping to find an electrician in my community but I will have to look elsewhere
