Best Kitchen Faucet Repair in Chicago IL
I can't recommend Darrell enough. He's honest, hardworking and personable - to say nothing about the quality of the work. We started with getting quotes for installing bidets and bathroom fans. Darrell was the only one to come out and inspect the house before giving us a quote. We ended up hiring him for a whole home lighting project. 14 can lights and replacing the trims on 20 more, 2 ceiling fans, 3 bathroom fans, a smart doorbell, and 6 outlets. There were issues (there always are) and every time Darrell immediately let me know, and told me how he was going to fix it.His employees are great. Friendly and they cleaned up after well. His price is very fair. His quote was much lower than other companies. The job went long, but the price never went up.I will be recommending him to friends and family, and I will be contacting him first for any future projects.

Hard Pass.First time I had fixer over, their electrician was supposed to install a smart thermostat. He didn't shut off the power to part of the unit and fried the motherboard. Had to call Deljo to come fix it emergently.- This cost 700-800 bucks. Fortunately they cut me a check for the replacement board. I still had to pay labor.Second time I had them over, I asked for 2 things.1) Change the lightbulb above a stair case (they did great) 2) I asked them to fix a 3-way switch that wasn't working properly.- The 3 way switch should've taken less than hour to fix. Fixer charged me for 2.5 hours @ 139/hr ~$350 + fees and didn't fix the switch a 3-way as requested.Instead (accidentally took my Lutron smart switches) and replaced the 2 way switch with... a 2 way switch.Had to argue w/ them some to get a reduced rate of 2 hours. Had to argue more to get it reduced to 1 hour.I think they mean well, but honestly the items should be sold as per job basis instead of hourly. If your electrician/fixer doesn't have the necessary supplies to get the job done or takes too long for a specific job, why should I be responsible for it.Also I fell that the $139/hr fee is too high. Many contractors/electricians charge ~75/hr on average for these simple jobs. ie less than half of fixers rate and typically much more efficient.First time they messed up, I bit my tongue since I got a check for the cost of their error and I understand things happen. As they say: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.Won't be making the mistake of hiring them again.

I needed a faucet replaced in my kitchen. Chris answered my initial call quickly and communicated everything I needed to know. I got the quote quickly after and was able to schedule something the same day.He was in communication the day of the installation and picked up a faucet for installation without the need for me to do anything. The installation was quick and efficient. I'm 100% satisfied with the service and will use definitely use Chris again for my next job.
