Victor and team provided excellent service in a timely manner. We purchased a home that had original knob and tube wiring that needed to be fully replaced. Victor’s team managed the entire process including permits with the city. Within a few weeks we had updated wiring that was all within city code for San Francisco — and our place has a great modern feel from lighting that enhanced all of our rooms AMD outdoor space. They generally do the job well, however it is impossible to reach them at certain hours since they do not have a full time office person staffing phone lines. I have employed them continuously over several years and they have been doing what is needed each time.

Never showed up.... first time they said there was a work emergency, then he was going on vacation, so he was going to send one of his guys out. He scheduled another walkthrough and... he never showed up. I called and texted him to see what happened, he said he emailed me. Turns out they never had our email so lied about that, then even though confirmed via text and they never showed up he called me rude for being hesitant about rescheduling a third time. So I had to leave this review. Unfortunate.

Even with arduous safety protocols surrounding work during COVID, Chris and staff made the transition smoothly and were flexible throughout; offering candid suggestions for our best interests. Awesome place to work

Great people doing great work!

Last week I made an unsafe attempt to change out a ceiling light fixture, I did not turn off the power.
Of course in the process I managed to cross the wires, resulting in a blown circuit.
Easy fix. Right. Well I threw all the breakers but nothing changed. I repeated the process a few times but could not get power back.
SO I went throug the yellow pages, calling a number of electricians, hoping I could get someone to come look at my situation. Everyone wanted to help but they were all very busy and unable to help.

Finally I called Momentum Electrical in Oakland and talked to Tom. Over the phone he gave me some suggestions to try but still no power.
Tom told me that Momentum was very busy as well, but after I pleaded with him Tom was very gracious and said that he had a crew not far from my home and he have them come by my house ASAP.
Well within an hour, Douglas from Momentum Electric showed up at my home.
He looked at the situation, made a quick voltage check, went to the main panel and found the problem.
Douglas explained to me what I had overlooked.

I am very pleased with the way this company, Momentum Electric, functions.
Tom was very helpful on the phone and even more generous with his offering of crew time.
Douglas was the consummate professional. Courteous, knowledgeable and friendly.

I was helped out of a tough problem by these guys and I will use their service in the future when I upgrade the wiring in my home.

Always nice to work with them

From the start of the job to the finish of the job the technician was professional, courteous, and very skilled. He suggested things that I had not thought of for the project. The install was quick, professional, and very well done. Overall a very positive experience and I would absolutely use them again for any more of my electrical needs.

They initially helped my wife and I with our home needs and we were so impressed by their work, that we enlisted them to handle all our lighting for our business. They are always on time, VERY tidy and really show they care about the job they do. Ash is super friendly and quick to respond. We would absolutely recommend them!

Extremely unprofessional company. They lay off employees discreetly, without offering any severance package or notice period. My acquaintance was sacked within 2 hours, with no prior intimation or severance package. This company needs to be dragged to US Federal Court.
