Best Electrical Engineering Services in San Francisco CA
I am getting natural gas out of my 1920s home, and Eric from All-Electric California helped me game out what I needed to do with my electric panels to 1) get up to code and modern safety standards, and 2) prepare for my next few steps of installing heat pump HVAC, heat pump hot water, EV charger, and electric fireplace insert. My panel and sub panel were mysterious, often labeled incorrectly, and even had arcing happening in a troubled switch. Eric helped me fit all my needs into my 100 amp panel without upgrading my service from the street. It was great to find a knowledgeable contractor who understood my vision and helped me make it happen!

Super punctual, nice, and didn’t take long at all. You never know what kind of service you’ll get with a property management vendor but I’m really pleased that my building contracts with Century Electric.

I had a few major production expansion projects at our warehouse and Momentum Electrical's staff; Bryce, Enrique, and Matthew went above and beyond on their part to ensure we met all of the electrical upgraded needs. Not only were they timely, knowledgeable, and pretty flexible around our active production space, but they took the extra steps to partner with our new equipment install contractors to ensure the electrical tie-ins were accurate according to specs.
Working with Bryce and Matthew on the PM side was refreshing. The open line of communication between the teams allowed for spot on and quick resolutions when problems arose or to make any last second changes to scope if they occured. Than we have Enrique, the on-site technician, who was more than helpful, worked great with our installation team, offered smarter resolutions to some of the electrical demands we had and was all around attentive to our staff.
I highly recommend this company and look forward to using them for any other future projects!

McMillan Electric is difficult to work with, and ultimately they pulled out of the project before it even started due to their own internally imposed constraints.
We had reached out to them to do electrical work in our apartment, following a recommendation from our building management since they had worked with them in the past. They agreed to do the work and took our deposit to get a permit with the city (which they returned at the end when they pulled out).
Communication was sparse; it was hard to get traction for getting a proposal together. Even when a proposal was sent, they had actually sent us a different client's filled out proposal incorrectly.
When talking to them verbally, professionalism and customer service was lacking. Their tone was passive aggressive and made it feel like they were inconveniencing themselves by doing us a favor, rather than trying to serve us as a client who matters.
Originally, they agreed over the phone that they would also cut into the sheetrock in ceiling. In the middle of pushing the proposal through to our building management, they reversed their decision causing us to need to coordinate with yet another contractor to do this work. Moreover, McMillan Electric told us that the other contractor would have to be onsite at the same time and work in parallel with them. This made the job that much more of a logistical nightmare.
Our building requires that work be done no earlier than 9am, which is a reasonable request to not disturb neighbors. McMillan Electric refused to move forward claiming that their union requires work to start at 8am. Instead of figuring out the logistics on their own end, they moved this burden onto us as a client. They told us it was on us to change the rules of the building. They ended up blaming us by saying that they normally don't do residential units and only took this on as a sign of goodwill. Somehow, they were able to follow our building's rules previously but couldn't do so now.
Ultimately, it has been a colossal waste of time where we could have just gone with a different electrician who would have been more professional. We wasted two months of back and forth with them. Would not recommend them.
