I was very pleased with Alex & Alex (family business). It was actually junior Alex who took my call and ultimately made the repairs. On the phone I explained my problem (flickering lights in two different rooms) and Alex explained what the service call would cost and what they would do for that price. When I asked when they could come out, he shocked me by saying in about an hour, after his current job. Shocked at how soon he could come, I booked him. Sure enough, he arrived in about an hour, diagnosed the problem (bad switches), replaced both of them, and: took a look at another non-working light and made a suggestion for repair or replacement, recommended I replace my existing under cabinet halogen puck lights with LED lights to save electricity, and gave me the link to the bulbs I could install myself. He also pointed out my current (40 year old panel) needed replacement (something I knew from two of my neighbors), and gave me an estimate for the job. The actual repair for the two switches was only an additional $25, and I was satisfied with the total price. I compared his price for replacing my electrical panel and it was competitive with what my neighbors paid, so I'll probably use Alex & Alex.for that job too.

The electrician was knowledgeable and skilled, and he was able to diagnose and fix my electrical issue quickly and efficiently. The team lead was an excellent communicator. He explained what they would be doing, where they would be, and when they would need to turn off the electricity and restore it. He showed me how to plug in the charger and what to be sure not to touch. And then he had me do it so that I had practice. He was creative when a change had to be made and open to suggestions. And they cleaned up everything and returned everything to it's proper location. It was a pleasure working with them. In addition, before starting the job, the Managing Director came to my house and discussed the installation options with me and we chose what would be done together.
All contact with everyone was professional and easy. In the future when I need an electrician, I will call Nation.

A Custom Electric installed our whole stage lighting for our Pasadena community center. They installed the lights, and the control panel. They have been back since to check the safety of each light and inspect the control panel. They are competent, creative, helpful and perfectionists. We couldn't have had a better experience with them.

Artin has been working with my landscape design company on many projects over the past couple of years installing lighting plans which involve both 120v and 12v systems. He has also installed wireless audio and security camera systems for clients as well. My clients really appreciate what he is capable of doing and brings to the project. About half of my clients hire Artin to do other electrical projects such as the electrical installation for pools, air conditioners and electrical shade awnings. He is straight forward on project details, honest, and a consummate professional. Artin also stays up to date on evolving technologies involving Smart Phone/Smart House system applications which we use and incorporate a lot for the lighting systems that we install. Artin is an excellent electrician with a wonderful respectful attitude.
