I was very pleased with Alex & Alex (family business). It was actually junior Alex who took my call and ultimately made the repairs. On the phone I explained my problem (flickering lights in two different rooms) and Alex explained what the service call would cost and what they would do for that price. When I asked when they could come out, he shocked me by saying in about an hour, after his current job. Shocked at how soon he could come, I booked him. Sure enough, he arrived in about an hour, diagnosed the problem (bad switches), replaced both of them, and: took a look at another non-working light and made a suggestion for repair or replacement, recommended I replace my existing under cabinet halogen puck lights with LED lights to save electricity, and gave me the link to the bulbs I could install myself. He also pointed out my current (40 year old panel) needed replacement (something I knew from two of my neighbors), and gave me an estimate for the job. The actual repair for the two switches was only an additional $25, and I was satisfied with the total price. I compared his price for replacing my electrical panel and it was competitive with what my neighbors paid, so I'll probably use Alex & Alex.for that job too.

Antonio's work is excellent. He is very professional, with fair pricing. The peace of mind knowing your electric work was done by a professional is already priceless, he is also insured and very knowledgeable with decades of experience. I am so grateful to everyone who recommended Power Up Electric. Franklin and his crew (Mario and Vladimir) spent three days updating our electrical systems and taking care of a huge list of random jobs. Our master bath didn't have an exhaust fan and was completely cut off from our household HVAC system, and was constantly steamed up and freezing in the winter. We had consulted many other electricians and our HVAC contractor to no avail, but Franklin had an immediate solution - a Panasonic exhaust fan with integrated heating unit. He also isolated the master bath on a unique circuit. He also noticed my ethernet cable snaking up the stairs and ran the cable inside the wall and two separate cables for our two home offices. All of the work was completed on time, they repaired all of the tiny openings they used and cleaned up after. Franklin is respectful, creative and kind, and treats the crew the same way he treated us. Franklin and Power Up are gems.

Used this company to instal a 240V outdoor receptacle. Communication was excellent from the beginning, with no need to talk to some call center but directly to the electrician. He came promptly and provided a reasonable quote for the job. No charge for the estimate which seems to be commonly charged by other providers. Work was done promptly and professionally.
