He did a great job in completing the work. He arrived on time, worked hard and was able to finish everything we needed in one day. Ken and Wayne were out yesterday to fix a malfunctioning kitchen light. The problem was found quickly and corrected. They have been here before and greeted me with cordial good to see you again and also told me to say hello to my husband and happy bday to my granddaughters! So professional and personable, too; this is the company for me!

Just needed a ceiling fan installed (and maybe a fan/light wiring on another corrected). I should have been concerned from the start when Colvin would not give me a quote- or per hour charge- to install a fan.1) After SIX messages/texts confirming the time for the tech, Colvin Electric called and asked if he could come three hours earlier inconveniencing our schedule.2) When the nice young tech showed up alone (typically having two techs makes it easier to install a fan), he provided a quote of almost $500 to install a fan!! All other quotes are coming-in at $75-$100! He explained Colvin is more for electrical install/repair than fan installation. That would have been nice to know in advance as we would not have accepted their bid.We said that was a crazy cost and sent him away. If you use Colvin Electric, you may want to push for an up-front estimate or be wary of over-pricing for simple projects that are not their specialty.

Corey has helped with moving some electrical receptacles and switches around in my house. He was extremely helpful in my smaller questions and concerns leading up the project and finished on time and with great quality. I would recommend to a friend.

Travis came out to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for my EVSE. The install was completed quickly and with quality. I would not hesitate to have him come out in the future.

Please avoid using this company as the person who schedules ( Mindy) their work is The most unprofessional person ever! She just cost me 4 hours of pay doing exactly what she wanted and not what the customer told her she could do. Appointment was set for 9 rescheduled for 12 then she told the tech the appointment was at 2. UPDATE-BACK STORY. Mindy tried to schedule an appointment set by the previous owners of my home the same day and was mad that I could not comply with an appointment that i was just finding out about that day. I do work and can not just get off for something that was NOT scheduled through me. I asked her to set up an appointment for a week and for it to be in the morning due to my work schedule. We did this and then she tried to move the date and time. I explained that I already had scheduled time off and could not move it. She then asked to move it to 2 not 9. I said no it needs to be in the morning due to my work schedule. I then asked the previous owners to schedule it because she was difficult to work with. I have emails that show 12 today as the time. Not last week or the week before. Then after I chose to give this review she called me to yell at me for the giving her a bad review. And this is the owner none the less. I’m just glad I didn't pay for their service as she was so unprofessional. On the bright side, Austin their Tech was awesome and super friendly. Maybe the owner should take notes.
